The Big Fish in Warwick

I waited over 25 minutes for my food, and when it finally arrived, it was cold and looked like it had been sitting out for ages. The server was inattentive and didn't check in once after we placed our order. Unfortunately, I won’t be coming back here

Compared to other takeways.... The portions are smaller, food tastes average blunt customer service and prices too high for what you get.

I ordered a 2 piece chicken n chips with fish it was some of the best food I’ve had in months the fish was fresh and the chicken was very juicy and nice the chips were juicy and soft on the inside this place is a must go people Definitely coming back again

Went here the first time. Went to pick up a ' too good to go' meal. Food was abundant. But very very nice. Fish gourjons were fresh and delicious. The meat donor was tasty too and oily. Will definitely go again.

As a fast food / chippy, very good place for a fresh takeaway I mostly get the fish & chips (occasionally chicken 🍗 piece) They make it fresh or just made (it's not made in the morning and left till the evening) they sell a lot so they don't have things sitting there for long. This is one of those places where the chips are not just an extra thing on the side ( I like the chips as much as the fish/ chicken) The chili sauce is amazing. The guys working there are friendly & professional. There are only a few seats there not really suited for eating in (you can eat in but there won't always be seats available) Parking right outside the shop is usually available if not then then is a side road or even Asda across the road to park on with a little walk (burn a few calories before the food 😄) I have no issues with this place and would easily recommend it to others Also the fish they use is Cod not the catfish thing.

I Went in for 2small chips. Waited 15minutes for these chips only to be partially raw. No communication from staff at all to say how long wait will be with only 2 people ahead. When asked it was a further 3minutes. Shocking portion size for small chips priced at £2 each ( single burger tray ) . Attempted to overcharge by short changing.

the burgers weren't listed as having Salad on them and i didn't tick to have mayo but both burgers were smothered in them unfortunately making them inedible, Failure on restaurants side this time sadly

I only ordered 1 donner and chips and one regular chips. There wasnt enough chipa for both but still prepacked the chips for one order with the doner instead of putting both fresh. So ended up with one set not warm enough and the other to warm to eat. The doner was not cut freah either and wasnt warm. The prices are high compared to similar shops in area. Not even going to talk about the hospitality.

I have ordered a few times but will never ever again. They charge an arm and a legg for basic standard food. We ordered masala fish in naan which was £11.99 and was absolutely tiny. Never going back to this place and I wouldn’t spend my hard earnt money on food that isn’t there with quality or standards.

Mom loved fish and chips I chose large mixed kebab and chips chilli and mayo very good but there was a lot of food well worth the money

Scallop and small chips are for nearly 3 pounds, it's over priced. I don't mind paying the price for the food if it's quality but the chips have no taste to it, and the scallop was hard and was unable to eat it. Very disappointed.

The big fish used to be a great chippy. They had excellent food and prices. Now the prices are astronomical for the area and the food quality has dropped. Donner was bad quality, large fish and chips is a regular size. Regular fish and chips was £4.50 in 2017-2018, now they've named it large and charge £10+. Prices constantly rising, but food quality has went down. I get 2 pieces of fresh cod in supermarkets like m&s for under £5, bigger than your large size , as a business they pay wholesale, no card payments which is a fraud, and then you complain about the NHS waiting lists and no police. Fish is watery at times, due to being frozen. Service is not great, no smiles nothing. Greedy money hungry people. Avoid.

Chips were cold and dry also fish was not freshly cooked. For what I pay I expect good. I always order from here but this time I am dissatisfied.

Fish bites and chips. Good size portion for the price which I think was £6 with a drink. Chips were great, fish was decent. The batter was a little too thick and soggy for my liking but I suppose you can't really complain at that price. Seem to be a Jack of all trades too and rather busy. A small amount of seating indoors too and off road parking if you get lucky.

The fish Big fish serve is actually a small fish but at big fish prices. Fish is often overcooked with more batter than fish. When this place first opened, it had very good fish and chips, but it looks like they are all about the money with out the quality and quantity. The Big Fish: you need to review your portion sizes as there are alot of places locally offering freshly made fish and chips with the same or larger portion but for less than what you are charging; an example of very good tasting and portion sizes for fish and chips is Pisces fishbar on coventry Road in sheldon.
