Adriano's in West Dunbartonshire

I ordered a takeaway from Adrianos. We waited an hour for delivery ordered two burgers and a large chips that were black through them burgers weren't worth the money. the chips was a small portion.not happy at all. We won't be ordering again from here the size of the portions are terrible.not good customer service you have lost a good customer 🥺

Adriano's used to be a good fish and chip shop. Since it reopened under new ownership after a fire, things have changed for the worse. The overcooked fish was covered with batter that was hard on the outside and thick and soggy on the inside. The chips tasted as if they'd been lying about for far too long. Most of it was inedible. Lorenzo wasn't perfect but he'd never have served such a terrible fish supper.

4 realz good food When I was a yung lad I remember going here when it first opened in 1990 me n my friend Ceezy went their to eat. I had myself a cheeky fish supper which was phenomenal but my friend unfortunately passed away so I had a sausage supper to remmeber him. Good food highly recommended.

Absolutely excellent fish and chips, cooked to perfection, very tasty . Big portions too However mask wearing was not enforced. The notice board states non mask wearers will be served at the door. Tonight 80% of customers we're without masks, all inside the shop. We're in the midst of a pandemic, please enforce in future.

Staff are very friendly and the food is very good. They need to start doing fritters though! Have got a sausage supper here loads of times and it's always good.

Got food in here tonight staff absolutely amazing , am really fussy and Want my food separate etc , no problem to them very accomadating great customer service, food was amazing everyone enjoyed there food my pizza was cooked to perfection the girl Lynn cooked it , best chippy I have been in food brilliant staff top Class keep it up cheers bk soon

Very good fish and chips. More to the point onion rings are amazing and with a dash of curry sauce really set them off.

The worst fish and chips I've had. Pale, soggy, chewy 'battered' fish... with average soggy chips. For £6.80 or whatever the supper cost I was not happy. I will not be returning and can't believe it had good reviews from what I experienced. Just the worst.

Reviews seemed positive so gave it a go... wish we hadn’t!! The soggiest batter in the world, actually made the fish chewy! Accompanied by greasy soggy chips. A tasteless dinner that only filled us up, no enjoyment! Maybe they were just having an off day but I’m not chancing another £13.80 to check!

I don't mind paying full price for a special fish supper, fish freshly cooked but chips soggy and cool, not the best for the price

I have only visited Adriano's once when travelling through Clydebank and it was recommended to me by a family member. Service was efficient and friendly and there was plenty of humorous banter going back and forth with regular customers. I ordered a fish supper and the fish was delicious, cooked exactly to my taste and the batter was nice and crisp. The chips, however, were a wee bit under cooked but I think this was probably a one off. I would visit again and recommend this chippy.

This is my favourite chippy in Clydebank it has been for 25 years I think the pizza are superb and would rather support my local chippy than give places like domino's etc

The staff are smart, talkative and polite, the food does not take long generally apart from the pizza. The fish and chips and chicken and chips are good.. The atmosphere in the shop is usually very friendly. I like the food in general.

Was the best chip butty I've had with plenty of chips and an extra curry sauce. Filled me up perfectly. Very pleasant and helpful staff

Some of the stuff is not bad but alot of times its realy greasy and the fish is full of bones witch is not good delivery is slow n mostly get food cold

We use this chippy most weeks find the food of excellent quality especially the special fish supper of which you get 2 pieces of fish & a pile of chips we have also had other types of suppers still to try their pizzas which are made fresh to order.

this is a busy fish and chip shop food is always fresh staff are friendly they do home deliveries and food is still hot when delivered large menu to suit all tastes

Nothing bad but nothing special average food average prices average staff wouldnt go at night as there is nothing fresh out ... just a chippy

Adriano's is a very popular take away fish and chip shop. The food is consistently good and freshly prepared and served by efficient and cheerful staff. I generally buy fish and chips which are always good but they also have a good selection of chip shop favourites on offer. Pizzas are freshly baked to order in a range of sizes with a wide choice of toppings.Adriano's fry their food in traditional beef dripping and abjure the nasty palm fat that is often used by other inferior establishments that have no care for the quality of their food. Palm fat is a chemically processed material that is neither healthy nor tasty and its use leads inevitably to an unappetising end product. So well done Adriano's - great food cooked the traditional way in beef dripping.
