Terrible food, flavourless, often been sitting out for ages (well it tasted that way) Soggy cod Wouldn’t risk anything other than chips

After they accepted an order I placed on JustEat they wait until the very last minute of the expected delivery time to cancel the order to discover they do not have any delivery drivers 😒 surely check this before offering a service you can't deliver, maybe

Yesterday 11 November 2021 I was on my way to get some wings from Favourite across the street but I saw Coulsdon Family Chicken and chips so I decided to rather spend my money on this family business. I got myself 8 wings for £3.40 and chips for £3.00 I got home and only had one wing and binned the rest. One attendant brought the wing from the house and gave them to the guy serving who fired it...but it was just horrible. Please work on it i will come and inspect tonight.

Order 22nd Oct 6pm. At 7pm no food. Asked to pick up! No food at 7.30, went elsewhere. Came at 8pm!! Lied at 7.30pm that driver had an accident after waiting 1.30 mins. Never again.

Phoned Fri 6.oo pm for the delivery he said it will 35 mins waited 45 mins phoned thay lied it came 8

By far the best Fish and Chips fish is fresh and delicious chips are so morish my Son loves the Chicken Fillet Burger Quarter Punder with Cheese for him to ask me to order from here says it all because he is fussy the staff are so lovely and friendly can't wait to order from here again

The staff are friendly, the food is of a good standard. The chips are nice and portions are very big though you often have to wait for them!

Always speedy service, Great Fish, Chicken and Chips... Great value. Great that its a fish & Chip shop aswell as a chicken shop. Choose it over any other fast food in Coulsdon.

I called in for some emergency chips one evening last week only to be told there would be a "ten minute wait" as they turn off one of the friers after 9pm! 30 minutes later we were still waiting for our food as they are incapable of cooking multiple portions of chips without both deep fat fryers working. IN THAT CASE, JUST TURN THEM BACK ON!

These people kept a hungry and pregnant women waiting for over 30 mins and shouted at her. I would never go here again

I’ve been coming here for a while and I love it. The fish is always on point and the burgers are decent too! My favourite chips! Will always keep coming back.

Being fed up with local prices and sizes I weighed my fish. Coulsdon Fish Bar came out tops with the biggest weight and freshest cod. Double the weight of another in Coulsdon. Last time unusually the chips a little greasy. but normally great.

Best fish, chips, kebabs, burgers the lot, especially the chips. Staff are always friendly and pleasant and portions are generous.

Used this chip shop for the first time today, it was much better than the last one. I will be coming back here again. I had Cod and chips and battered sausage.

They've gone downhill a bit since the refurbishment, but the fish is still freshly cooked for each customer and the staff are very friendly

Normalmente este es un excelente lugar para comer, pero últimamente, ya que han cambiado la gestión, la calidad de la comida ha bajado. Servicio al cliente muy pobre. Sugerencias para hacer que: tienen su comida fresca en vez de re-climatizada desde la hora del almuerzo, además de un servicio más rápido será útil esperando más de media hora para un pedido es inaceptable no volveremos aquí

La CFC tiene algunos de los más sabrosos patatas que he probado jamás. Yo y mi workmate no sabíamos qué esperar cuando fuimos allí hace unos meses. . Ahora vamos cada dos semanas sin fallar. Sabemos que el personal de allí y ahora tienen buenas y bromas son muy amables. El pollo, pollo hamburguesas son increíbles. Top tíos. La comida. El mejor lugar de la ciudad! Joe y Ben

Looking for a place to eat, late on a Saturday night, I noticed the Coulsdon Fish Bar was still lit up and the "open" sign lit. That's pretty rare on the Southern border of London. Upon enty, I asked, "what time do you close?" "Soon," was all the answer forthcoming. As an experienced late night diner, I asked the necessary followup, "is everything on the menu available?" "Yes, everything's available." Cheered by this news, I started looking over the menu board. In addition to fish and chips, they also do chicken, and burgers. However, I was in the mood for fish. I have eaten here before, but only during the daytime, opting for the fish, chips, and drink special. However, that offer isn't available after 10PM. As I looked over the various options in the fish section of the menu, the helpful man behind the counter asked, "you want fish?" I nodded in the affirmative, to which he responded, "fish not available." Disappointed, I opted for the 2 piece chicken and chips. This is mostly a takeaway establishment and I took my box of food to my car, to eat. The chicken was tasty, although there didn't seem to be much meat on the bones. The chips were awful. The tasted like a mixture of reheated ones fried ages before, with some fresh ones. It's a shame, because when I have visited during the day, the results have been much better. Perhaps, it's best to avoid eating here so close to closing. There are better options down in South and central Croydon, for late night takeaways.

This place has good chicken burgers with a good handful of salad! Get a burger inside you immediately!
