Fish and chips are lovely and very generous

The guy was miserable not even a hello just what do you want , he looked like he couldn't be bothered being there , we ordered a 12" chicken and Sweetcorn stuffed crust pizza which looked pretty much as a pizza should , also ordered a chicken kebab no salad i would be lucky if I said the wrap was half filled and it was totally chewy never will go back for kebabs especially how much he charged me for it

Sorry to say this place has gone downhill over the past few months, visited today to find prices have gone up and yet the food and service has not improved. Disappointed to find this previously excellent chipshop has turned into a run down over priced place. Won't be returning unless ownership changes!

Yeaahhhhh....actually found a chippy where my husband likes the chips....and I had no complaints either. Lovely food friendly staff

Bobs is without doubt the best seafood in Folkestone. The crab soup is the best I’ve ever had. Highly reccomend this place

Had oap special fish chips peas bread and butter coffee and cheesecake £12.50 Absolutely delicious the fish was perfect white, batter not thick or greasy, chips good and the cheesecake was delicious. The staff efficient. I will be visiting again.

Had large cod and large chips a large sausage and a cod row The cod was cooked fresh and was a large bit of cod very tasty the chips was nice again a large portion The sausage was again nice but unfortunately the cod row was a let down the batter was not crispy the underneath was very oily The price was very good for the portions I got very friendly owner not going to let the cod row put me off from ordering again from here This is my honest and own experience and my opinion of Andy’s fish bar

Portion was small and very little fish in the kedgeree. Chowder was better. Expensive and I'm disappointed and still ready for lunch.

A typical, excellent English type restaurant with good food, interesting decor and architecture in handy location at end of The Strand. Friendly waiter been there for years.

Drove into whitby specifically for a seafood fix but at 6.45pm was closed, says 8pm on opening hours on google, think they need updating, a bit gutted

We missed Ercan Fish and Chips when are they resuming?

We bought 3 plaice and small chips to take away and enjoy them eating at the beach. However to our disappointment all of plaice were raw on the edges, and for the first time it had quite a few bones! Even though these were three portions for three people we were given only two tartare sauces. Two of plaice were put in one box separated by a paper bag however this wasn’t a good idea as plaice got stuck to the paper and separating it ended up being just one big mess, also the butter was too thick and somewhat undercooked. We were not happy with our choice of fish shop it spoiled our afternoon. Next time it will be back to our favourite fish shop in Deal. Sorry for no photos included with this review. We didn’t think of taking photos of the dinner failure at the time.
