Portion was small and very little fish in the kedgeree. Chowder was better. Expensive and I'm disappointed and still ready for lunch.

Visited the stall at St Georges Market, Belfast. I ordered the fish sandwich (hake sandwich) which was very good - 2 fish fillets fried in front of you and served in a soft sub roll with lettuce, tomato and delicious sauces. Friendly service with a smile. Recommend a visit.

What's to say? Shrimp po-boy was class. Fresh roll, rich prawns, spicy, sauce, crunchy pickles and lettuce. Owner was great craic too. Would happily go back

I had a fish po-boy at their stand in the Belfast market. I assume this is run by the same company as the restaurant. Unfortunately, my fish sandwich reminded me of the old Wendy's ad in the US, in this case "where's the fish?". Sandwich came with a large soft roll which was very nice and the dressing and other items were good. Unfortunately the two strips of fish were mostly breading. You can see that in the second picture I posted with this review. There was some fish in there but it was nowhere near "meaty" and the two strips did not even run from end to end of the bun so I tossed about a quarter of the bun. Usually a sandwich like this will fill me up. Unfortunately this one didn't.

I got the tempura prawns which were £8.50 for takeaway, taste and flavour was very nice. But the presentation of what you were ordering showed a cone. When I received over half the cone was stuffed with lettuce, so I had 6 prawns. Although the quality is lovely, for nearly £10 6 small prawns is not really fair. Especially when presenting at the front a cone as an example of what you receive.

If you’re visiting St Georges Market, this is a great place to go. I had the chowder followed by the langoustines and both were excellent and fresh. The service is really friendly and efficient and I would recommend it to future diners.

Discovered the chowder end if last year so went again today to sample more. I wasn't disappointed. Calamari was excellent as was the chowder. Also tried the Smoked Haddock Kedgeree which also didn't disappoint. I would highly recommend!!

Ordered a cone of scampi for about £8. Got about 6 bits of scampi and a ton of lettuce filling up half the cone! Scampi was tasty but meagre portion. Also the lady serving could do with a lesson or two in customer service.
