We called into this Cafe for a couple of coffees and a sandwich. The premises have been nicely and imaginatively extend to the side and completes this unconventional layout ( see photos)
The staff re friendly and there is table service. Worth a visit.
A wonderful bakery. Delicious bakes and very friendly staff.
We discovered this little gem whilst on holiday and have already visited twice and will probably be back again!!!
We stopped in to check out the teas and came away with four! I’ve had a chance to try them at home, and being a bit of tea connoisseur myself - they’re amazing. They’re full of flavour which is great, and the value for them is wonderful. Nothing I hate more than a tea place ripping off customers. I’ll definitely be back to stock up on my new favourites!
My first ever cooking class (a birthday gift) and what a delightful experience it was! Monica send you an email prior the class to detail how to find the premises. Monica was extremely personable and quickly picked up on everyone’s name without asking twice. The class was seamless in delivery (massive shout out to Andy!) Monica was so friendly and extremely knowledgeable and I definitely came away with tips that I can use at home when cooking. I wouldn’t hesitate in booking onto another class.
Great place, great service, delicious food. Really enjoyed the falafel bowl with bulgur and salad, and kids had pasta with tomato sauce (better than mom's at home).
We went in to buy some local cheeses, were offered a tasting of anything we liked. Lovely knowledgeable chap. We bought four local cheeses. You could buy as much or little as you like. Each cheese has a little label so you know which is which. Also bought some coffee which was ground for us. Great shop wish he was based nearer to where we live.
The cafe was diligent in ensuring that all our complicated dietary requirements were met from time or order through to delivery. The food was scrumptious and the atmosphere extremely relaxed and cosy. Also the price was so reasonable. £25 for a huge amount of top quality food and drinks which would have cost a fortune in a hotel or the ivy
Can't recommend No.8 Cafe enough. Friendly staff. Nice inside and out. Off the East Street so nice and secluded. I had the Little Breakfast - which was enough and very tasty. Every element well made and sourced. I especially like the mushroom with thyme, cooked for a perfect amount of time and not swimming in butter like usual. Bang on! Had a really nice coffee too. Go!
Awful! 😢
They are about to open in Potters Bar where Relish Real Burgers was before. In the interim they are pocketing people’s money from platforms such as Just Eat and laughing in our faces when the food does not turn up. I will always have legacy issues with this business. Very bad attitude!
We come here regularly for lunch and the food is always very good quality, the portions a decent size, and the prices very reasonable. The menu has quite a good choice and there are also home made cakes for sale which are delicious! It is run by a mix of able-bodied staff and less able-bodied staff who are always cheerful , enthusiastic and well supported and encouraged by their support staff. It is pleasant to eat here as it is clean and bright and has such a cheerful and positive atmosphere.
