The best restaurants in United Kingdom

Visited on a quiet day for lunch with my family. It was drizzling outside, so we went straight into this restaurant. It turned out to be an absolute right choice. We were met with very nice service, while the food selection was fine, and the quality was excellent. It was a nice place worth a try if you are visiting Windsor.

Stopped on route home, did not expect much but it was excellent. Pulled pork nacho according to daughter were delicious, jalapeños were a little little bit spicy. Hulk burger was rated 2nd best burger by my son, who lives for burger, only Honest Burger in Brighton was better according to him, this is a high accolade. I do have to agree my double cheese smash burger was lovely, and chips were Season to perfection. Do yourself a favour and visit this place, you’re not going to regret it. 2 burgers, 1 pulled pork nachos and chips all round was about £37. Food is cooked to order so do not expect a drive through experience like Maccies etc

Our 3rd visit to this wonderful place (formerly Vennells restaurant)……..from the minute you email regarding a reservation, you feel welcome. The restaurant is small, but that adds to the experience and ambience……the subtle music combined with quiet conversation ……..perfect. The staff are unobtrusive, yet attentive and clearly knowledgeable and enthused with the food they are serving. The tasting menu is a treat for all the senses, with the element of smoke running through the courses. A small wine menu, reasonably priced……beautiful Portuguese Rose which complemented the food. From the canapés to the final sweet treat, you are left excited and amazed……..indeed a most talented chef preparing the most amazing food…..he will surely go far. A small village with such a fabulous restaurant….PERFECT!! Added to this we stayed at The Bay Horse next door……literally 10 steps away!! Tour group booked via phone for Saturday night. Arrived and all locked and closed. No notification via txt, voice message. Really let down.

I cannot recommend Varr Party House enough. I had the pleasure of organising my friends hen do and the party house was perfect for such an occasion. The location has amazing views, and we were lucky to see a lovely summers sunset over the fields that sit behind the house. The house itself is beautiful with so much to look at inside. The food was sensational, and there was so much on offer for what we paid for it. Jane was absolutely brilliant in keeping in contact and helping me organise the night. On the night, the owner and bar manager both tended to our needs. The bride-to-be and all her hens had a great night and we will be back again at some point!

Excellent coffee plus a sfogliatelle - Italian lobster tail custard filled pastry - which was absolutely perfect. All on. Special for four GBP.

Friendly service, good food. Nice big portions , the Calamari starter especially. You have to try the Pork Chop, never seen anything like it! Beautifully cooked and tender too.

The tag line is the "Smallest chippy in Scotland", they work out of a fairly small shed with a number of small fryers. There's space for about 4-5 cars so I didn't have a problem parking. There's an easy to use online ordering system, I picked up the QR code at the nearby campsite I was staying at. You pick a 10 minute slot for your collection which is arranged online to stop them getting overloaded. I had large haddock, chips and mushy peas which were cooked to order. The haddock was perfectly battered and cooked, the chips were just right too. The mushy peas looked natural rather than full of green dye. All in all it was worthy of five star all round. Probably a couple of £ more than the average chippy, but well above average so good value. More than happy to recommend.

Can highly recommend Bistro at B63. Fantastic food. Students and staff are friendly and helpful. Give it a try you won’t be disappointed.

Absolutely brilliant. Traditional chippy with fast,, efficient service, great prices, really crisp batter and chips, very fresh haddock. Does get any better for a takeaway!

Lovely experience in this cafe - friendly staff, beautiful views and delicious cake. Well placed at the end of the coastal path too.

Came here for the first time and I was not dissapointed. Was amazing food and amazing service, great sized portions at a great price. Very nice and polite people and a very clean and homely area to eat in would highly recommend, was a great place especially for a local. Will definently be back again.
