Park View Cafe in Cardiff

Mi esposa vio el letrero del café y, como los dos estábamos hambrientos, llamamos. Cuando estaba entrando vi una "cálida bienvenida" en el letrero afuera y eso es exactamente lo que obtuvimos. Mi esposa pidió un sándwich de tocino y yo un gran desayuno. Le pregunté si hacían pan frito y la encantadora y amigable dama dijo que podía hacerme algo. ¡Excelente! ¡Un desayuno no es un desayuno sin pan frito! Poco después, nuestros tés llegaron en tazas limpias con platillos, jarras similares y un plato para bolsitas de té. El té estaba muy caliente. Las tocino eran buenas y mi esposa las disfrutó. Mi desayuno llegó muy caliente y con pan frito. ¡Hombre feliz! El personal era amable y servicial. Los precios son excelentes. Nuestra comida y bebida era menos de 10. Buen valor y agradable. ¡Gracias a quienes nos sirvieron!

Llamé para tomar un café y un pastel cuando estaba trabajando cerca. Una bienvenida muy amable de Jackie. Mi café blanco plano fue un poco débil para mi gusto, la próxima vez pediré un trago adicional, pero el pastel de café y nueces fue realmente bueno. Espero con interés mi próxima visita.

Esta encantadora cafetería sirve comidas y bebidas a precios razonables, con todo el personal involucrado asegurándose de que los clientes estén contentos. Un montón de excelentes tartas caseras también para la venta, y asientos disponibles afuera con vista a Victoria Park. . . un lugar encantador

Está limpio. El staff es muy amigable. El servicio fue excelente. El desayuno era grande y exactamente como cabría esperar. . . . . con una taza de té. Definitivamente vale la pena llamar.

My husband and I have just visited for breakfast I am extremely fussy about poached eggs but we have just had poached eggs on toast and a coffee The eggs were perfect! Thank you Lots of places serve them up either over cooked, watery or tasting of vinegar, this cafe served them perfect. The lady who served us was really friendly and efficient. Really enjoyed the food, we will be back soon.

Thank you ever so much for our breakfast and the added mince pie to finish off. The food is simple and hearty, perfect for a local cafe. I loved my breakfast! It is great value for money too. The staff are warm and welcoming, they couldn't have helped us more. We will be back and I will be recommending to friends Diolch yn fawr x

This is a lovely cafe, the staff here are so welcoming and friendly. There is a good choice on the menu and the food is homemade and extremely good value. My favourite is the curry. It is situated across the road from the beautiful Victoria Park. I would highly recommend this cafe to anyone who happens to be in the area.

We have been to this little cafe next to the church a few times for hot chocolate drinks and cake.They have lots of home made cakes which are lovely and not too expensive.They also do hot meals.They are very friendly and with good service. It always seems to be full as it is so popular.It is facing the Victoria Park which is handy and near the bus stop opposite.

Popped in out of the rain for a quick coffee & cake. Very pleasant place with very friendly staff. I'll definitely be back.

My family and I pop in every now and then for our breakfast and the food and service is excellent every time. There is a lovely atmosphere in the cafe and the servers can not be more attentive. Would recommend to anyone. Lovely place and staff!

Stopped by after a trip to victoria park with my young son and family. Food was great but staff were superb, really accomadating, friendly amd great atmosphere. Will def be going back! Thank you xxx

We are a group of teachers from a local school that visit Parkview Café every Friday lunchtime and always have delicious food. They serve a good selection of hot and cold food with yummy specials. The staff are very friendly and we always have a good lunch there.

A good place to stop for coffee or food after a visit to Victoria Park. There is an outdoor seating area with views of the park, and the cafe itself is large and spacious with pew seats. Good range of breakfast and lunch options, fabulous cakes and excellent Ferrari's coffee. Friendly and efficient staff.

Popped in with the inlaws for drinks and a snack. Was quite quiet which for us was a good thing. Our visit was satisfactory and we would probably think about returning if we're over this neck of the woods.

Staff were all polite and very friendly, lovely freshly cooked food and the cakes were fab. I've been here several time and never had a bad experience.

Have been here several times. Lovely food served by really nice people and a very nice place. Just opposite the park. Parking can be a hassle but it's worth it.

I have been going to this little café for a few years. I eat there at least once a week and have never been disappointed with the food, staff or service, plus the delightful décor of the place is welcoming. The staff make me smile and often a funny remark from one of them will keep me smiling for the rest of the day, they are so attentive and so helpful. I look forward to spending time there, is always brightens my day. Today I had breakfast. Breakfast is breakfast right? No... this was delicious and look appetising in the way it was presented. 10/10 for breakfast today.

Lovely cafe with great service. Had a fantastic cheese and pickle toastie that I could eat again right now actually. I will definitely be returning and the fact it's run by the locally for the community and not a chain is great.

We (myself and my work colleagues) go to Park View regularly - our last trip was for Christmas lunch (which was FABULOUS!), and we have never been disappointed. The food is of the highest standard, and the price is VERY reasonable. Nikki and Sharron are a great team, and the kitchen staff friendly and helpful.

We are a group of teachers who work in the local area and we choose Park View Cafe every Friday lunch time for the friendly atmosphere, welcoming staff and cheap, tasty food! The menu is varied and you get loads for your money!

This is my absolute favourite cafe to visit. The food is excellent and really restaurant quality with great attention to the overall look of your meal. The 'Specials Board' caters for any tastes.

We stumbled across Parkview Cafe one day when we decided to explore Thompson & Victoria Parks. We have been several times since & the food has been of excellent quality everytime. Today one of the chef's specials: a big tasty bowl of lamb stew with dumplings with a fresh crusty baguette for £5.50. Absolutely delicious!

Fantastic place to eat ! Food is excellent, as a family we use the cafe quite regularly and we have never been disappointed , really good value for money. The staff are all so friendly the, atmosphere very relaxed. Victoria Park is across the road so you can take a pleasant walk. Oh by the way no problems parking.

I'm in love with this place not only does it have bags of character reasonable prices and massive portions, the quality of food is 5* ! Everything is made fresh on site (except the bread) including an array of cakes all on display.

This is a cafe that serves 5 * restaurant standard food, the menu is always varied and delicious trust me I've tried it all. But you need to leave room for the glorious desserts and make sure you have enough time to deliberate over which one to chose.

Parkview is not only a busy, thriving cafe but is also a registered charity which provides vocational skills to trainees with learning disabilities to encourage them to gain employment in the open labour market. The food .... What can I say... From the fresh tomato and basil soup with homemade bread, traditional dishes such as chicken curry, lamb hot pot, freshly battered fish through to gourmet salads and daily specials, everything is restaurant quality. Prices are reasonable and portions are generous. But please leave some room for the home made cheesecakes, muffins and other amazing desserts. You will be glad you did! For coffee lovers, this place serves probably the best coffee in Cardiff - freshly ground beans served with a smile!

Wow where has this place been all my life!! The food is freshly made from local produce. Tasty and above cafe standard. This has people with learning disabilities working there and are amazing, pleasant and very helpful. I would recommend this to everyone. Brilliant !
