I really enjoy visiting The Table. There is always a warm welcome from the staff, and the food is excellent. I highly recommend the cakes! A very homely place.

Friendly staff, freshly cooked pancake stack with lemon curd and blueberries was delicious! My first visit and I will definitely be back. 😊

Beautiful place, wonderful staff. They’re volunteers which makes their efforts even more incredible. I definitely feel at home when I come here. What’s great is that it’s right next to so many student lived streets so it’s very accessible. Being where it is means it’s also very quiet outside (when compared to places like crwys road, Albany, etc). The prices are very affordable and it’s honestly a hidden gem in Cathays. I hardly ever write reviews but for a place as special as this, I just felt obliged.

Don't underestimate this place! Small but cozy spot, with an extremely friendly staff, good value and quality coffe, teas and yummies, not to mention: good (I mean: gooood) sandwiches, other cakes & treats. It has a bit quaint, but absolutely charming & lovely enteriour. With the strong, stabil Wi-Fi you can find a great place for distant working or learning. Sometimes @ The Fire place! This is the Vibe of Home! If you are familiar with the "I have to calm down" feeling - this is yours! + If you visit this place in the Sunday morning – You surely will get loads of delicate spiritual food. Which is much more important for the next decades.

Came in here after having spotted it on Google. Got to say, the quirkiness and calming environment is something you feel the moment you walk in, as well as the super friendly staff that make you feel right at home. Soup was delish, and they have a great variety of cakes and treats on display. Even has nooks with fireplaces warming the areas, which is a massive bonus. Will definitely come back to this cozy haven!

Absolutely love it here. The food is all home made and second to none. Filling andwiches and the most delightful cakes, the lemon drizzle has lured me back again and again! Always a welcome smile and service that makes you feel like family. All set up for a little one too, highchairs, brilliant changing facilties and a basket of toys/books ready to go. Not to mention gracious understanding from our hosts, as to a one year olds antics!

Peaceful little converted church coffee shop. Older customer base, very spacious, good WiFi for remote work and lots of covid protocols in place so you feel safe. Service was good and staff all very friendly.

During stuffy and uncertain times, 'The Table' is a breath of fresh air. Set in the heart of Cathays it accommodates all ages and serves delicious home-made food - mainly breakfast & light lunches. The hot drinks aren't priced at the 'let me just check my bank balance' levels of some places, and the staff are polite and efficient. With superfast Wi-Fi and plenty of free plug sockets it's a great place to escape 2021 and treat yourself to some quality time & decent food 👍

My seventh month old baby and I had a really lovely and relaxed time at the table last week. I chose a sofa spot by the warm, welcoming fire and tucked into a delicious brownie and much appreciated coffee while my little one had fun looking around at the lights, the stained glass and smiling at other customers. We'll definitely be going again!

I cannot recommend the table enough! The hot chocolates are divine and the service is second to none. Kate and the team made me feel so welcome.

I visited as part of an event that took place at the premises. It's absolutely amazing location to meet with friends and hangout. Is wonderful soft seating, including sofas and easy chairs, fireplaces fitted around the room, I'm very aesthetically pleasing. Great coffee and great service. I would recommend this to anyone.

Great lunch. Good company. This is an old church building where the congregation is looking to engage with its community by serving them.

For those who don't know, The Table is a business run by a christian family who give all their profits away to helping victims of slavery and trafficking. The people who run it are utterly selfless and loving, and the setting is just about the most comfortable I have ever been. Wonderful for meeting friends and a great way to spend money, enjoy comfort and good coffee whilst giving money to a great cause. Great value too!! My favourite place in Cardiff.
