Visiting my daughter we decided to try Longa for a cocktail and dinner, we were not disappointed. The friendly warm welcome and service, cocktails and food were amazing. Definitely will be back 😊

I recently visited Longa Cafe in Cardiff and, while the food was okay, the overall experience was extremely disappointing. The staff service was absolutely awful—unhelpful, inattentive, and uninterested in providing even the most basic courtesy. Despite the café not being busy, we waited far too long for both our order and any assistance. To make matters worse, the prices are sky-high, yet the portion sizes are noticeably shrinking. I was particularly frustrated to find that I had to pay extra for bread when it was supposed to be included with the platter. This kind of nickel-and-diming, paired with the poor service, made the experience feel like a complete rip-off. Unless significant improvements are made to both the service and value for money, I wouldn’t recommend Longa Cafe to anyone.

Longa Cafe was incredible. We didn't have to wait too long for food. The food was incredibly tasty and seasoned to perfection. The staff were personable and friendly, they were also very polite. The cafe was not too noisy and the atmosphere was lovely. You were able to chat and still hear each other. The cafe is quite narrow, therefore wheelchairs might be a struggle. Reasonable price for the quality of food. The cafe was very clean too. Halal food Would recommend coming here and I will definitely come here again.

Mix of Menemen + Yumurta + Sucuk and it was delicious. My partner had eggs and potatoes Both served with a bread tray. Super friendly server, fast food delivery, piping hot and full of authentic flavour. Sent this to my Turkish friend and he said it looks very good and he wishes he was here to try it. I will definitely be back to try other items. What a great place to dine at 5 star all round.

Genuinely one of the best restaurants here in Cardiff, had the bomb one I forget the full name for it and it was delicious. Also had the hot chocolate and it was one of the best I've had. Service was amazing, would reccomend making a reservation as it's a very small establishment and they're very popular which absolutely makes sense. Thank you for accommodating me on shorr notice I will be back!

I go nearly every Sunday morning. They're always busy, but manage to fit me in. The food is so nice, and the service is fantastic.

We discovered this place on TikTok and decided to give it a try. The food was absolutely delicious, and I’d consider it one of the best breakfast options in Wales. It’s halal, and the atmosphere is quiet and relaxing. We visited around 2:00 PM, and it wasn’t crowded at all. The only thing I’d note is that the tea served wasn’t quite Turkish, it was more like English tea. Overall, it’s a great spot, and I’d highly recommend it!

The best brunch spot in Cardiff!

The atmosphere was beautiful, the welcome, attention and service from Barıș and Agnes was outstanding and the pavlova was the best pavlova I’ve ever tasted (and pavlova is my favourite dessert so I count myself as a pavlova expert).

My partner never says no to a good Turkish breakfast and this place did not disappoint. We both enjoyed the Turkish breakfast for two! Good portion, well presented and delicious. The restaurant was clean and staff was great. Would definitely recommend to try.

Stayed in Cardiff for a month and visited a couple of times and it never disappointed! Staff are exceptionally friendly (especially the lovely smiley lady with brown hair who’s always on the counters- couldn’t catch her name unfortunately)! I’ve had Turkish brunch a few times and it’s definitely one of the best ones I’ve had here. Food is freshly made and flavoursome and the meat is halal here too. The iced coffee is nice and strong too- appears quite milky but the coffee itself definitely has a punch. If you’re in Cardiff or visiting, I’d definitely recommend this as one of your brunch options

What a fantastic find this place is! We’ve eaten Turkish food before, but this was such a wonderful surprise. As a brunch, it fitted our needs perfectly and didn’t cost the earth. Certainly didn’t leave feeling hungry, in fact we had to take some away with us, couldn’t leave it, as far too nice. Highly recommend if you’re in the area and fancy some fresh authentic food

Do yourself a favour and book a table!!! I’ve been eating brunch at their Whitchurch Road branch regularly for the past two years and as soon as I knew they’d opened this restaurant in town I booked a table for myself and two friends. The first thing that strikes you is the excellent location and the impressive exterior and interior and it continues from there. We ordered a range of starters to sample as much as we could - particular highlights were the Turkish cacik - cucumber yoghurt with pomegranates; simple home-made pillowy bread with a black peppery, garlicky butter; stuffed dolma (vine leaves) with a berry jus; hot hummus with melted cheese and pastirma (this cured Turkish beef coated in cumin and coriander is a must and also came cold with some sliced cheddar and rocket). The superb, welcoming service from their Whitchurch Road branch continues here. This venture is the brainchild and hard work of sisters who care passionately about the food and their customers - supporting them will feed your body and your heart. Cost per head was £35 including a tip, enough food to feed more than the three of us and cocktails.

Awesome food. Had the non veg breakfast. Fantastic array of jams, chutneys and side dishes. Eggs and spiced sausage where stand out. Rose jam a revelation!

Omg....I don't have words in my vocabulary to describe how good the food was here, soooooo nice I had the beef kheema my auntie had the eggs and potato with the Turkish sausage and we shared the hot homus and chilli, all were absolutely fantastic, the bread was like nothing I've had before!! Good brunch spot. The food was tasty, I highly recommend the Turkish eggs. Service was a little slow and disorganised but the restaurant was packed with customers and the servers were very apologetic. It would be helpful if they made you aware on sitting you need to order at the counter and perhaps stagger covers as to not become so overwhelmed. There was no water, glasses or cutlery available, we received our food but no means to eat it. Overall great food but not the most relaxing experience.

The food is delicious but if you order the ultimate breakfast for two the bread won't be enough and they charge you over £3 for a quarter of plain bread! The most expensive plain bread. Other middle Eastern and Turkish places do not chatge for bread and if they do is not that expensive.

This is probably our favourite restaurant in Cardiff. Delicious Turkish style breakfast, the food quality is always excellent, friendly and helpful staff. Edited: the price on the anatolian has blown up so much that we no longer come regularly. We used to come 1 / 2 times a month but now it's gotten too expensive for us to justify. It's a shame as it used to be my favourite but now we can't justify the price.

Tried this place out twice after coming across their IG page. In conclusion I would say it’s not bad. Was better the first time. Claims to be a Turkish inspired menu.. bread that was served was plain and old and their olives in particular were very average. Too much oil was used for the eggs. Very pricey for what you get. Try it for yourself but I won’t be going back again.

So expensive for canned tomatoes.. not enough bread given for 2 portions then charged £3 extra for old hard bread. Won’t recommend

Upon entering this charming little Cafe, I think I must have said the word ‘Wow’ at least 30 times. From the food, to the absolutely excellent homely service provided, I saw no faults whilst having the pleasure of dining here. Our party of 5 (including some slightly picky eaters) were fully satisfied and beyond. Thank you so much for a great start to the day ❤️

This café is a true gem with a warm, inviting atmosphere, thanks to its sunlit windows, ambient music and stylish decor. The staff is so very friendly and attentive, and the food is consistently delicious, making it a place you'll want to return to again and again! A delightful spot for any occasion.

I've been meaning to try this place for a while, largely because of the lovely food smells I catch when I'm walking by. It did not disappoint. There's a fairly extensive menu with some great, traditional Turkish food and drink and a warm welcome from the staff. Very reasonably priced given the quality of the food!

Longa is a lovely restaurant the food is amazing. I can excpecially recommend the Turkish eggs which I am obsessed with. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly and efficient. There were 17 of us in our party that dinned at longa and we all left this lovely restaurant very happy. I highly recommend it.

Beautiful Turkish breakfasts, with servings of bread. Served perfectly. Finally booked a table and got to visit here and it was so worth the wait. I posted for the shakshuka which was incredibly Smokey with perfectly baked eggs, and a portion size that is more than enough for the biggest appetites. It's fantastic that the staff provided attentive and friendly service.Probably one of the best breakfast.

Food and drinks were brilliant, fast service and lovely staff. Savory breakfast dishes were nice but photo added of the pancakes as they were so aesthetic and tasty!

Everything from start to finish great. Reasonable prices and very friendly team. If I be picky as a recommendation maybe olives could be more selective and couple of different extra cheese types such as izmir tulum with gevrek would be fantastic 😊

Popped in to Longa on Saturday afternoon, really enjoyed the visit, I had a lovely smit bread sandwich which is a Turkish style sesame bread, it was a really nice sandwich full of flavour. Coffee was great to and a nice place to sit and eat and chill out. Will defiantly visit again to try some more of the items on a really good menu.

Went with my family yesterday we had Aegeon breakfast absolutely beautiful all fresh and so so tasty 😋 been thinking about it today lovely service and quick reminded of back home Will definitely go back amazing coffee too thank you ❤️

10/10! During our weekend trip to Cardiff, we were on the hunt for a nice spot to enjoy breakfast and came across Longa Cafe. It was a delightful experience from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious, and the staff were incredibly polite, friendly, and accommodating. Despite not having a reservation, they were able to fit us in on a busy Sunday. A very special thanks to Sorush. We enjoyed it so much that we returned the next day to try more items from the menu. I only wish this cafe was in Manchester so we could visit more often. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Cardiff. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

The only thing I have to say is just go there and eat. It's amazing, lovely food and the staff are great as well.

Had a wonderful lunch with my partner. Food was exceptional and very reasonable. Staff were all lovely. Atmosphere relaxed and place clean and bright. Iced mocha was 10/10. Would definitely recommend and will be returning.

I’ve wanted to try this place for ages, having seen pictures of their amazing breakfasts. After so much anticipation, I was thrilled that Longa lived up to my expectations. They managed to find space for us on a busy Sunday despite us not having booked in advance, and all staff were smiley and helpful. The atmosphere was lovely, and the food is second to none. I would recommend this place to anyone; I intend to visit every time we are in Cardiff! Longa is absolutely fantastic, first rate.

We had a nice brunch this morning and enjoyed the eggs and potatoes. However, the menemen was too salty for our taste. The pancakes were quite small, and the cups for the iced coffee were also on the smaller side. It would have been nice if they offered sauces or condiments with the meals.
