Panners Coffee Bar in Braintree

pretty sick, loved the place, gotta love the coronation chicken. reminds of me of when elsa had coronation. cake was fabulous darling.

Met my friend here this morning and felt safe. tables outside and did have to wait for one but not long. Had a coffee and baguette, which came with crisps and salad. Antibac to help yourself to. Was very nice, lovely staff.

Staff are very friendly in the cafe and always have smiles on their faces. Food absolutely delicious and a wide range of options to choose from, from jacket potatoes to sandwiches. I absolutely love their Nutella milkshake and is one of the best milkshakes I've ever had. Perfect to meet friends for lunch or coffee. Toilet facilities available here as well.

Friendly, welcoming service every time with a good variety of lunchtime options (highly recommend the paninis!). This place has become our new favourite cafe to grab a bite to eat, and the fact that is serves great coffee is a bonus!

A nice local independent coffee bar and cafe with friendly staff and lovely fresh food. The specials, which change regularly and seasonally, are really tasty. Good selection of cakes too, which you can take away if you're a little full. Have visited frequently over the last 18 months and never disappointed. Great place to pop out to if you have a few visitors. Thoroughly recommend!

Great place to met family and from the locality. The coffee is lovely and the cakes to die for. Cannot recommend it highly enough.

Attended the set price mulled wine (or other beverage of your choice) & cheese evening. Lovely cheese & pate nibbles. We love the cocktails too. Staff are lovely, friendly & accommodating. Sadly I was abstaining, so I can't review the mulled wine but the mocktails were fabulous. Thank you for another lovely evening.

This place is a little gem. Leanne the owner and all of her staff always have time and a smile for customers and never rush you even if you are the last customer at lunchtime. I enjoy the themed nights with wine and a platter of bites and nibbles. This is not fine dining or pretending to be. It is an excellent local coffee shop come function venue come meeting place for locals and they do it really really well. Coffee is excellent and cakes and snacks too. This owner has worked hard to build a business and locals are supporting her. Long may it continue.

Panners is a wonderful little gem of a local business, who I would always support over a high street chain where possible. Leanne and her staff never fail to greet me with a smile and nothing is too much trouble. The kids love going here for a treat and the evenings events are also really special. I look forward to men weekly coffee and catch up here with a friend of mine and would encourage anyone that hasn’t already visited, to give it a try! Keep up the good work!!

This coffee bar has everything. A place to socialise, meet friends and just relax with a drink and meal (from an extensive menu) or just a glass of wine or two. Sit outside in the summer or stay cosy inside during winter. The staff are so friendly and helpful, families with young children are made welcome and we'll catered for. Thursday night specials are amazing and very popular with couple and groups. I visit on a regular basis and find this coffee bar provides amazing service and value for money. Keep up the good work.

Often pop in for a catch up with my friends , lovely coffee & the jacket potatoes are yummy . Being on my door step it’s super handy . Staff are always really friendly and service is good. Cosy environment and the cocktails they do are also amazing .

We where invited for a surprise baby shower for my cousin who was due in about six weeks the girl that was serving us was a very nice girl very pleasant to speak the spread of food that they put on for us was exceptional you could have from tea to a cocktails the place was just stunning inside and the next time I am in Braintree I will definitely be going to visit again😀😀

My partner and I had held our engagement party here and absolutely loved it! Can’t thank the staff enough for everything, all of our friends and family loved it too. Lovely little venue, couldn’t recommend enough!

Went Thursday night with 5 friends and what a great night we had. The cocktails were amazing. Next time I will just stick to one or two and not mix them as had a terrible head next day, my fault I know. You get Natcho's also which were very nice. Nice setting and the staff were lovely and kept coming asking if you wanted another round of drinks. Will deffo be back. Great night.

We had a really lovely time last night in panners, it's a very welcoming place to have a gathering with friends and a few drinks. The staff are brilliant they are very efficient and friendly, my friends hadn't been before and felt it was a really nice place to catch up and we had the sofas to relax on so it was just lovely . We will be going again and one last thing the cocktails are amazing . Thanks panners .xx

My daughter had her baby shower here today as a private function and it was great. The staff were very helpful and attentive and the food for the afternoon tea was excellent. The actual café is cosy, homely and very welcoming. Nice little touches like nappies in the toilet for any emergencies make it a very family orientated café. Would definitely recommend to families and others just wanting a friendly café. Thank you for a great afternoon.

This is a gem. Latest visit was for a cheese and wine evening and as always it was great nice wine great selection of cheeses and as always great atmosphere. What makes it really special is the warm welcome and service with a smile.

Panners is a lovely little place. We've never been there during the day, but use it for an impromptu date night on the odd Friday night. Very handy for us being a 5 minute walk away.

Visited here on a recent sunny day and it was lovely to sit outside overlooking the village pond. The drinks (latte and chocolate milkshake) were excellent and the service very good. And all at very reasonable prices. A very pleasant experience

We visit regularly for the tasty coffee and delicious cakes. The milkshakes are a must too.

My friend and I went for lunch today, didn’t know this was still there. Both of us had the Prawn Baguette and a bottle of their New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc (£14 how cheap was that) Lovely atmosphere and the owners actually talk to you rather then each other. Going there again DEFINITELY

What a great little place situated on the Great Notley Garden Village. It is a Coffee Bar ,Wine Bar and has live entertainment. They also serve fab cakes and have themed food days/nights. The owner and staff are very friendly and make you so welcome.You can also have a range of cocktails,beer and spirits. The clientele are also very friendly which you can expect from a village location. The entertainment is varied but always suitable without being too loud for a small venue. It is the sort of place you can go by yourself,as a couple,or a group of friends including all male or all female. Everyone just has a fun hassle free time. Keep up the good work.

Had my first Thursday night special here

This is what Great Notley needed,friendly staff,food selection is very good,Thursday and Friday evenings have a relaxed fun atmosphere,look out for different events ,tapas nights, bands,clairvoyant eve,thoroughly recommend.

On impulse, we decided to go here for lunch as its just a few minutes walk away. My wife and daughter enjoyed a very pleasant lunchtime jacket potato cooked just right whilst my coronation chicken baguette was most enjoyable. Drinks were all very good and you can't fault the service here. If there is a downside, it is unavoidable as, when busy, which it was, there was a lot of general noise from the kitchen, coffee machine and just lots of people talking. This noise has put my wife off returning but I'm sure at the right time, we will go back as it's so convenient.

Visit Panners on a regular basis for lunch and never dissapoimted. Plenty of selection on the menu to choose from and the service, food quality, portion size and presentation is second to none. Amazing cakes, savouries, drinks and other refreshments are available and the staff are really friendly and helpful. The coffee shop is comfortable and has a great atmosphere. The Wi-Fi is free and outside tables are available. Well worth a visit at anytime. You will be suprised and thankful you did.

Living locally we watched with interest when the Coffee Bar reopened and noticed that it seemed to become popular so we wandered in for a glsss of wine one evening and loved it. We have since called in for breakfast and a few of the speciality evenings such as Tapas, Cheese and wine and evening tea but served with Prosecco. Leanne the owner is great as are her staff. Very relaxed with a great atmosphere. Great service, great quality and great value.

Went with a few friends for a drink and had a great time. Cocktails are pretty decent and the atmosphere was relaxed and friendly. If your in Notley and want a drink or just a coffee, this is the place

Friends had booked this place out for a friends retirement do! great space for small gathering and very friendly feels.

I visited for a coffee with a friend. Coffee and service were good and staff very friendly. I also visited with my wife for one of the speciality evenings, held weekly. This was a Cocktail and Tapas event. Choice of cocktail each and a selection of tapas. Simple, but very nicely presented and good quality. Had the house wine which we really enjoyed. presented with a bill for £30; couldn't believe that we had had such a pleasant evening for so little. I'm convinced! Yes we will visit again, probably for Breakfast.
