somewhat disappointed. portions very small and poor quality ingredients used. extremely expensive for what on offer and quality of food. think asking nearly £5 for beans on toast verging on ridiculous. shame as they will lose there custom at these prices.

Very expensive for what it is. Food is not fresh it's prepared then re heated. Sausage was off. Unfortunately when the cafe is related to the chip shop you get cheap Sausage. Everything is brought cheaply. My opinion I would look for a better cafe with better food and a lot cheaper.

Spent a good hour and a bit in this great little cafe in Sible Hedingham today. I had a set No 4 breakfast and that came with a good coffee. The staff were friendly and efficient and my food was served quickly, was very tasty and good value for the money. I had a second coffee as I felt very comfy in the bustling cafe. There were several large groups who came in and they were also served quickly as well as a few families. Several groups of bikers came in for coffee and bacon rolls as there is parking at the rear of the premises. I also had a coffee to go which was made in my take away mug. Nothing was too much trouble and I’d definitely go back again.

Parking at the rear, good size portions, very busy but prompt service. I had a breakfast which included bread or toast I opted for bread which was very fresh. Lovely breakfast for a good price, would definitely recommend.

I was out on a bike ride on a very cold day and was overjoyed to come across the Corner Cafe - without the generous serving of beans on toast with poached eggs I wouldn’t have made it home! Very welcoming and great service all round, I’ll be sure to have this cafe on my routes again! Thank you guys

No plan to come here, but only place open on a bank holiday. Turkish staff by appearance. The food is all cooked on a griddle and/or microwave, but its an absolute delight. Friendly staff. Good atmosphere.

Nice cozy place, lovely breakfast

This will always be a café that lists as one of our favourite places to eat. The feta salad and chips with tea scrumptious. The service friendly and second to none. The chef , amazing and caters to your every need. The owner friendly and open to suggestions. Long may you go on corner cafe. As a Londoner this is one of the most missed experiences of my life when I leave. Thanks for eleven years of wonderful meals and service. Would always come back to have a tasty treat here. Dropped in for a cooked breakfast, purely off the cuff. Chose the full English with black pudding and (hardly daring to believe it’d be worthwhile) bubble & squeek. Lo and behold! Bubble & squeek the like of which I haven’t had since I was a kid. Great value for money. The only criticism - not enough burned bits on the bottom (of the B&S, not mine). Classic full English with a mug of Rosie, fab!

Excellent omelette plus salad. Spoiled by cigarette smoke passing through the restaurant from kitchen back door to front entrance and out front to where I sat in the morning sunshine. Smokers don't realise.

The menu is very overpriced and the products they use are from the cash and carry. I dont mind paying for a quality meal but this was the complete opposite the sausages were disgusting. If you are going for breakfast I would recommend using Busy beanz bistro

Informal cafe setting run by polite and friendly staff who are happy to discuss your meal choices and make slight changes when dietary needs require it. Food always nicely cooked and well presented although personally, I would prefer slightly less on the main meals but that is just personal preference and they oblige when I ask for a smaller portion. Prices good, a value for money meal from an extensive menu. Give it a go, I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

We visited Sible Hedingham on our way to Freeport in Braintree. This cafe had been recommended to us by people who live locally and who use the cafe on a regular basis. It took a bit of finding and was further from Braintree than expected, but well worth the effort. Generous portions and friendly service, all at a reasonable price. We will definitely call again now we know where it is!

Great cafe with an extensive menu. Portions are large so do ask if you want a smaller amount, they are very obliging. Have eaten here several times with my husband and mother-in-law, food has always been nicely cooked and tasty ... especially the bacon - yummy Staff are courteous and friendly. Thank you all, we will be back.

They use 2 pence sausage, ham , cheese , get the hump when THEY forget things , the waitress is clearly doesn't want to be there, she'd rather talk about her optician appointment than actually serving God knows where these other reviews cam from, they must have done it themselves!! HARD PASS

Went there today with my husband and little one for the first time while we were waiting for the bus, food came quickly and was absolutely delicious! We will definitely be coming back when we are in Sible!

They had a cardboard sign written in marker pen on the front of the counter asking customers to pay in cash if possible due to problems with the card machine. When I came to pay, however, I was informed that card payment wasn't possible, resulting in my having to leave my rucksack on a table in front of the counter at the cafe, directly in front of the entrance door (no offer from the staff to put it out of sight) while I went to the cash machine at the garage across the road. Awarding one star, therefore, due to the lack of communication and the inconvenience caused. The food itself was okay enough for this kind of thing, though a bit on the expensive side compared to typical cafes of this type.

What a fantastic place , went with my friend and I’m glad I did , staff are excellent and very friendly. Made us feel really welcome . Food was extremely tasty , and a great price . Will definitely be going again .

First time and definately not the last. We visit an elderly aunt in castle hedingham once a month. Often pass the corner cafe on the way Decided to try it out. SO GLAD WE DID. Piping hot food.Huge portions. Well worth the money.Great staff. Friendly atmosphere......SEE YOU NEXT MONTH

These people are great. The food is really well cooked, the staff are real people who care and with whom you can have a humorous rapport and some banter. Massive plates full of food, the place is clean and the prices reasonable. A family feel. We go every time I'm in the area without fail.
