Lovely chaps, open late enough for me on a Monday night that I could get my kebab (superb) and chips (delish). Great guys running the place. Recommend.

First time ordering. Arrived within 15mins. Delivery driver friendly, food was hot, such big portions even for my sons child meal and the food was delicious I’ll definitely be ordering again

I have been ordering for quite a while, and the last few times, quality has really taken a dip, wrong sauces being sent, tonight, again wrong sauces, food was cold, over cooked, and didn’t come with the usual (mushrooms, peppers and onions). Really really getting disappointing

I love this takeaway shop. Although they’ve got a few of my orders wrong, they have rectified it immediately. I will always return here even if they get it wrong again because the food is tasty, fresh and is always piping hot even when it has been delivered 4/5 miles away. Their mixed meat with cheesy chips is always my go to. Good portion sizes too.

The girls who work her on Saturdays are great but "Lorraine" the Monday to Friday waitress is the drain fly in the ointment of this business.

Wow! We chose one of the kebab specials and we were not disappointed. Freshly cooked in front of us, my first proper experience of a kebab and it was tasty and amazing, could taste the bbq flavours on the meat and there is plenty of it. Staff were polite and professional. When entering the premises the smell of cooking makes you hungry. You just have to remember that if you order in store they only except cash. Will definitely be ordering from there again.

Had a fair few takeaways from this place but very disappointed tonight, 35-40 minutes late which I can usually deal with if the food is good but tonight very small portions, lamb shish was so fatty and chewy literally unedible I would expect this from a cheap kebab shop but when your paying £22 for a small chicken shish and a small mixed shish I expect it to be good meat. Also the pitta was like stodge. Gutted to be honest as it’s been our go to seems the standards have dropped now they have got their custom since opening. Shame

Absolutely awful customer service ..ordered 3 Kebabs tonight and 2 lots of chips ..1 kebab wasn't what we ordered. One didn't even get delivered and the other one as well as the chips was cold n dry ..rang up to complain to be told its our fault shockingly bad ...asked to redeliver would only deliver the one missing without chips wouldn't recommend this place

First time ordered with Halstead BBQ and must say I really enjoyed it. Ordered the Halstead special loads of food and really tasty. Definitely order again

Excellent food quick , hot, and tasty

Lovely staff, everything looked spotless. Food was absolutely delicious and portions were very generous (we were all defeated)! Salad was really fresh, meat was cooked to perfection and pitta was delish too. Been looking for a good kebab place for ages and finally found one. Will definitely be back and 100% recommend.

Very friendly and helpful guy served us. Soo much food! Salad, pita, sauces and lovely chicken kebab with mushrooms and onion. Added coleslaw which I will save to finish off tomorrow. Good value. Will definitely go back.

Moved to Halstead 2 years ago. Finding it really hard to find a good takeaway here so we just dont bother. Untill.....we had Halstead BBQ. The food is so fresh, big portions, delivers quick, tasted good. And omg is it reasonable.

Best Chicken Shish kebab I've had in a long time. Fresh salad, Chicken cooked beautifully and small chips easily fed 2 people, recommended.

Great service, friendly staff, amazing food. Our sauces were left behind, but the staff came back within 5 minutes with our sauces and even some free sweet dessert treats. Will definitely be our go to kebab from now on.

I don’t leave good reviews lightly so when u read this, know it’s from an absolute takeaway connoisseur! I was pretty shocked at the lamb shish quality, compared with everywhere else - virtually melt in the mouth 🙀🙀 I heard it’s the same owners as USA chicken but if the lamb is anything to go by they must be ordering from a completely different supplier!! Let’s hope it’s not just beginner’s false sense of security building and that the quality never drops. My only gripe would be for some unknown reason they toast the OUTSIDE of their buns 🤔 Only the inside needs toasting in order to lessen sogginess from sauces etc. The pitta was overly toasted too, I’d prefer my pitta untouched. Other than can’t fault - SO FAR.

This is the second time we have had the pleasure of ordering from the takeaway it was cooked quickly and the food was the best we have had for a long time salad was very fresh and in a separate container which was nice and the meat was loaded staff was so friendly will be back again Friday

Ordered for the first time this evening and cannot be happier! Have missed having a bloody good kebab shop in this town since roses shut down! Ordered online and we did have a slight mishap with my other half's order but a quick phone call and it got rectified and within 5mins the missing piece was at the door! The food was well cooked and very clean and fresh, not greasy or fatty. The salad was excellent and overall one of the best kebabs I have ever had. Be prepared there is a LOT off food, big portions. Excellent value for money and excellent food

Food was fine once I'd reheated it in the microwave. Took 1hr 45mins for it to be delivered though.

We had a lovely breakfast which was reasonably priced cooked quickly and was of high quality. We would certainly return if we were in Halstead

overall a very, good, clean warm Cafe, with a very good fast table service. We have eaten there several times in the past few years and found it very consistent in all the above.

I use this Café once a month and can recommend the breakfasts that they have. Food cooked to order always hot and great value for money. Lots of choice on the menu and you can make you own breakfast up if the set breakfasts are not to your liking. Staff always friendly .

Very large menu to choose from with quick, friendly and efficient service. The food tasted lovely and fresh, and they were large portions, which is good! Very reasonable prices too. Would definitely come back and recommend.

Served by a really friendly man, quick service and food is very cheap! Not amazing quality food but you definitely pay for what you get. Loads of options on the menu. Really good, quick experience other than one fairly rude looking waitress. Overall really recommend.

Nice people, nice service, attentive, fast and good food. Well cooked and well served. There wasn't anything not to love about this place, it was well staffed and the owners were attentive. They knew there clientele and paid special attention to those who were either aged and on their own, they went over for a chat and I feel that is important in the current day. The food was 'today' fresh, the mushrooms were beautiful. Some around me opted for the healthy fluffy omelette - I went for the unhealthy option of a full fry-up and amazed my partner by clearing the whole plate. It was scrumptious.
