Eastfield Fish And Chips in Peterborough

Chips were very dry and crispy like they have been sitting for too long or refried leftovers. It used to be very good but the last couple of visits have been the same, Just dry. Shame as I used to go a lot. Plus the price is quite high compared to other chip shops in the area.

I recently grabbed a takeaway from Eastfield Fish and Chips, and it was hands down one of the best fish and chips meals I've ever had. Even as a takeaway, the quality was exceptional from start to finish. Scampi and Chips. A lovely meal. This time I got a bottle of Coca Cola as well. That was £1.50, so it is better to get your drink at another location because that is expensive really.

I’m new to the chip shop. Only ordered fish and chips with mushy peas. Fish was the nuts so no drama there. Don’t get me wrong as I know what it’s like to get reviews helping my boss run his business. The chips were stone cold and soggy and the mushy peas were dry and not even any flavour. So therefore I payed over £11 for a piece of fish on its own as I really wouldn’t even give the rest to the homeless.(my opinion) sorry. I’ll not discard the place as I’m going to give it another try in a couple days but as for tonight already spent enough for a lazy night off cooking but now I either cook for fulfilled stomach or I order from the kebab shop I see next door

My family and I have been going here for at least 6 years now, always great food and fair price.

Being let down by the chip's not being chips but scraps and all hard and dry.

Best fish and chips I've had for a while. Fish (cod) was gr8 - large portions and crispy batter (comes in regular and large portions - each of which is large and larger respectively; how hungry are you?!). Excellent old style thick cut chips. V good and v reasonably priced. Superb for a takeaway chippie!

This fish&chips shop is the closest to where I live & it's clean. The owner said I could eat my food in the shop when freezing cold outside. I am going again to buy takeaway.

The customer service is good, I arrived just as they were about to close and they still made me my order. It wasn't bad, the fish was fried and came piping hot and same with the chips but the actual fish itself didn't really have a taste. I would rate it 3 stars and a half but I can't.

Lovely chips, salted perfectly and served hot. Excellent portion sized. Would recommend for pricing too. Not too expensive!

First time here. Had a kebab, chips and oinion rings. All of it was very good. The chips and onion rings were probably the best we've had in a very long time.

Lovely little fish and chips shop, haddock from there is lovely! The fish isn't to greasy either which i find with alot of other places. Plus, when you ask for vinegar the people in their know you want alot, love it!

Half of the order it's not in a box on a delivery Order has been made completely different than asked for so we couldn't eat it.

Good place, Fresh cooked fish and not too expensive, Pagrking outside is free and the off licence is next-door, Plus free sustainable eating utensil (chip fork)

What a day we had . We just moved here and they stayed open after closing time just to help us . It was a pretty place with friendly staff . Recommend to everyone and will definitely go again .

We usually just go to order and collect, used the online ordering system, first visit since lockdown commenced. There is a protective screen, all staff have masks, delicious fish, paying by phone means you know when to turn up, contactless collection, we'll be sticking to our monthly schedule of visits. I have enjoyed everyone of the many meals from here as do our families and friends when they visit

I have called in and ordered a few times via just eat. Good value and portion sizes with friendly staff.

Always used this local chippy. Tried others nearby but still come back. Always looks very clean. Delivery is quick when it’s running. Good prices.

UPDATE on my second visit had the same order as first and OMG it could have been a different chippy- the cod was over battered and didn’t taste like cod, the portion was really stingy 😞 it’s all about the cod for me so I won’t go back ordered 2 cod 2 portions of chips and a large plain sausage (for the dog). The fish was lovely, nice white and fresh, the batter was a tad to thick but the overall taste, yummy. The chips are nice. Freshly cooked while you wait which is a bonus. Service very friendly. 5 star hygiene rating. Would recommend and will go again. 👍😋

This is our "go to" Fish and Chips. Lovely fresh skinless, boneless fillets of fish and perfect chips. I really haven't had better anywhere else.

For a local chip shop I think this place is amazing! Food is always spot on tastes great and it’s a great value. One little moan though it be even more better if they delivered all I know is they have one person that delivers but it’s not much I think they should ought to employ more drivers and I’d think this busisness would go much further. Again food is outstanding and the staff are very friendly.

Starting to become regular customers here. Good freshly cooked food and very friendly service. The lady that served us was fantastic with the kids and had plenty of banter with the staff. Excellent service all cooked to order and very quick, I would recommend this Chippy to anyone. They even have chairs for people who are waiting to rest in. The food portions are generous.

Ordered large cod and chips last night, tasted great and only down the road so we had high hopes this would be our new local but been up all night with chronic diarrhea and vomiting, a clear case of food poisoning! My husband and I had the same thing and both sick! Avoid.

Started going too this fish and chip shop up the road.....fancied fish and chips for tea..about 6 30pm....ordered my tea and young woman said about 10 minutes, it was busy in there but after 30 minutes asked when I get my tea and she said u not had it yet and I said well no.....after 40 minutes I got my tea.....one I got home the batter on the fish was so under cooked..so won't be coming back .....over customers not happy for the wait....
