The best restaurants serving Pizza pasta food in England

Violently sick after cheesy chips, took ages to arrive even though there was 2 ppl in the shop.

I ordered food for delivery, and this was the state of the potatoes. Tried to have some by removing the burnt edges, but still... It's hard to believe they thought it was acceptable to send them out like this. Says a lot about their food standards. *Edit: Meet my expectations? How about meeting your standards? Is it acceptable for you to serve that to a customer? Because if that's the case, then I prefer not to contact you any further, thank you! I would just prefer to avoid your restaurant in the future. Disappointing on portion sizes - we left the restaurant wondering if in fact we were still hungry. I hadn't eaten at a Pizza Express for at least a decade and convinced my husband we should give it a whirl. I used to enjoy it and wanted to try it again - this was an itch I needed to scratch. I ordered what I thought was a Buddha Bowl. This dish has found its way onto many menus now and is usually a nourishing, satisfying and filling collection of nuts, pulses, grains and colourful veg. Sadly, I got what felt like a half portion buddha bowl. There was plenty of mindful chewing going on to make sure I was aware of every morsel! On more careful reading the menu does have the Buddha Bowl in the Salad section with a calorie estimate beside it so perhaps I should have expected it to be light on substance. On the other hand, salads can be satisfying, nourishing, delicious and filling - choosing to eat salad ought not to leave one hungry. My husband's pizza was lightly cooked, which I accept some people prefer, but when a lightly cooked pizza is served onto a cold ceramic plate it starts to cool very quickly. The pizza did not feel hot when it arrived at our table. There is no mention of pizza size on the menu - or none we could see. Had we known the standard pizza size was so small we would have ordered a larger size. As I said up top we left the restaurant wondering if we were still hungry and discussing what we had at home to fill the gap. A disappointing experience - but that itch has been well and truly scratched!

Matty at Swindon old town - Such a lovely guy after having issues with just eat (& waiting an hour and a half for no driver being assigned) Made us new pizzas due to them going cold & we were able to cancel just eat and collect in store. Great customer service & understanding - all staff were super lovely! Thank you 🫶🏼

Came as a big group for a Christmas party. Food was good quality, as you'd expect from a pizza express really. Service was great, really lovely staff here.

Nice restaurant. Stopped by to get my freebies on the app. It's not too big but in a nice location. Service was great, and the waitress was very helpful and lovely. Food was great, no problems at all. I shall be back.

Occupied tables spread out if they had been closer the atmosphere would have been better.
