Pizza City in Preston

I edited this review so many times and because of that i decided for 3 stars. You never know what youll get. Sometimes the food is absolutely fantastic for a great price, on other days youll get a really dry burger that tastes like its been reheated in a microwave about three times at least. Its cheap and when its good its fantastic. Its a shame its such a roulette with pizza city as it put me off when im about to order food.

Shocking delivery service rude staff thought I’d give it a second chance but still terrible don’t waste your money!

Ordered 2 items, happy to accept the order however it took 1hr and 10mins to arrive on a Sunday evening! Called to enquire and not even an apology for keeping me waiting! Very disappointing! Do not order from here if you are hungry!

The food smelt like perfume the chicken was undercooked overall deffo would avoid this place not nice at all

it took 1hour and 15 minutes to get here when we live round the corner had to ring up multiple times the pizza is cold and isn’t nice and there is hardly any red salt on the chips

Im completely Appalled i made my order at 5pm and called in an hour later and they have only just began preparing my food and had no other explanation except they was 'busy' Also the man i spoke to on the phone was horribly disrespected showed no bother that i had now been waiting over an hour for my order, if i could rate this resturant 0stars i would !!DO NOT!! Order from this place, sickens me thinking about how the food may have tasted.

Chicken was pink and I now have food poisoning

I got a fillet burger chips and spicy wings with chicken and a garlic bread the only thing that was tasty was the garlic bread the lettuce was soggy the chicken was dry and bland and has no taste! The chips wasn't even eatable

Ordered chicken and donner kebab with salad and garlic mayo. No Mayo smallest amount of lettuce. There was so much grease in the kebab tray that it had leaked out of the tray into the bag and all over my table. I've never seen so much grease in a takeaway before. I threw it away as it was in edible

Highly recommend Pizza City on Friargate! 5 Star! Food always fresh made to order and piping hot, Pizzas not greasy! Burgers nice and juicy! Plus the chips and samosas OMG soo good! Been going there for 5 years NEVER had an issue absolutley fantastic! 😁

Absolute joke. Eaten in the place before and the food is pretty good. Ordered off Uber eats, driver claimed he knocked on my door (I was standing outside when he called). Then claimed they left the food at the door, nothing there. Spoke to the takeaway who said they’re not doing anything about it. Jokemen

alright i wouldnt recommend the chips,popcorn,strips as they aren't nice pizza was okay as i said just alright for a 3am take away

We got a meat feast with extra cheese, extra pepperoni and barbecue base. 100% we will be ordering this again next time we have a take away craving! very nice!

Food is fantastic,during this covid time,these guys have been great. Food delivered always on time at times early by 15 mins. I don't use any other takeaway now as the menu is very varied and always cooked properly... 10/10

Ordered from this place as a last resort as it was one of the only places open at 2AM. Uncooked chicken like rubber, Gave me an upset stomach and made me puke up 3 times. terrible experience.

Ordered 2 Kebabs: 1 chicken & donner, 1 chicken and sheesh. Asked for no onions as I’m intolerant to them. Surprise surprise both kebabs were Donner. Tried to eat a little but couldn’t. Safe to say I was drunk so eating crappy food isn’t hard work but this took this piss. Wouldn’t recommend!!!

Service was good but chicken was dry and very chewy. I have previously had nice southern fried chicken from here that’s why I went back but will now go elsewhere.

Pizza meal deal - £6. 9 inch pizza with 3 toppings, fries and a coke/7up... Got a pepperoni, chicken and green chillies. Pretty good, but lack of toppings. Fries - excellent. Great red salt. Paid an extra £1.50 for donner on top of the pizza; but steep, but was gagging for a bit of donner. Good service. Pretty quick.

Shocking service waited 1 and a half hour live 5 mins away ordered a medium pizza and 2 piece chicken and chips everything was cold it here weren’t no chips and it was 18 pound rang them they said what do you want us to do we didn’t send cold food it was late kids were starving food literally did not get eaten so had to go kfc as they did not want to do nothing about it never would I say this I’m it I strongly advise everyone to go to pizza paradise in Mansfield road rather then this disgrace never again sorry for the language but I am appalled

Chicken was hard strawberry cheese cake came solid frozen and chips was just hard and extremely chewy

I often come in after a night out and ask them to make me a vegan pizza. They will do anything to make you a happy customer and are really nice :)

Chicken wings were raw! Told by an employee (friend) that the block of takeaways are RAT INFESTED. Food at 1-12am is day old food. The employee had food poisoning from eating chicken that was out of date and still being sold! DO NOT EAT FROM HERE IT IS DISGUSTING.

Pretty bad pizza but alright chicken

Disgusted at the way staff handled an incident tonight. Heavily drunk man was stumbling around and getting in the faces of other customers, I avoided him as much as I could he eventually stood outside. Upon leaving the premesis 2 members of staff shouted in my face and demanded I picked up his bags for him in which another lady informed me he had urinated all over them. I was handling my food I had just bought as well and staff preceded to demand I pick his belongings up which consisted of a broken mirror and a bottle of vodka. Very unhappy with the way staff handled it especially when it was on thier property and then demanding a paying customer handles broken glass and alcohol in which the items were covered in urine.

Just no! Tasteless pizzas. Not recommended.

Wouldn't recommend this place. Very misleading pictures of foods which they don't even sell. And very unprofessional staff don't know how to talk to customers properly and also fighting amongst their staffs. Felt like a school playground. Than a takeaway. Felt intimidated . And highly priced for whats it worth..food wasn't nice either!!!

We are a family and like most folk we regularly get a takeaway in on a Saturday night weekend- more often or not it's from Pizza City spending on average £20-£30 every weekIt's changed owners over the years but we still go as the food is reasonable and location is convenient being nearby.However after last weeks experience I will not be returning. Poor service on the counter - meals not prepared correctly and no offer to remedy this when pointed out and despite being a regular for many years being asked to pay extra for sauces!Compare this to another well established pizza place that we used this evening - Refreshment Village which we had stopped visiting but made a special trip out after last weeks experience. I found the staff were very busy but also conscious of serving their customers and not only was I offered the sauces without asking they even popped in a complimentary drink. Service that makes you want to come back again - take note Pizza City for the sake of saving a few pennies by skimping on the quantity of food included and charging extra for sauces you've lost a customer for good.

Its nice and warm and the food is delicious. I love the creativity of the fudge cake and suggest it to anyone who is looking for great quality food for the day 😊

After staying at the legacy hotel in Preston this takeaway was recommended by the receptionist at the hotel ! Well Impressed great take away and reasonably priced

Honestly, your delivery guy was so nice, really friendly, waited a period of time , and still was friendly and addressed me by my name from online order. Food came on time and was hot and delicious. Great price, good food, really pleased! Love life

Most of the time when I order from here the pizza and chips are delicious. The prices aren't too bad and delivery is usually fast.

Came here but of a last minute thing ordered kebab chicken and 2 X doner kebab all were ok chicken was. Cooked nice staff were friendly too

Usando esta para llevar unos meses y nunca he tenido ningún problema con ellos. El personal siempre es amable y la comida siempre llega caliente. El servicio de entrega puede ser un poco lento a veces, pero que no es gran cosa. Sin duda recomendaría este lugar.
