The best restaurants serving Other european-cuisines food in Glasgow and Surrounding

Stayed at the premier inn. Went for breakfast. We were informed it would be cooked fresh and not on a buffet. All 3 of us had an English breakfast. Everything was cold. Bacon was paper thin and had no flavor. Sausages cold and dry. Hash browns cold and overcooked. Poached eggs rock hard. Beans Luke warm. All the food had obviously been cooked hours before, or even the day before and just reheated slightly. Not good. Kids were then informed there was no pancakes, no Nutella, no plates left and one croissant that we split between 3 of us ha ha.

Not impressed with our experience today. If the table is only available for 2 hours then the customer should be informed when taking the booking. But the main problem is poor service! If you want to have the table back in 2hours then service and organisation has to improve. Delays in taking orders, serving courses slowly, taking too long to serve drinks is not the fault of the customer. We were forced into leaving behind drinks that we had paid for. We were rushed out by staff, pity we they hadn't rushed to serve us at the start. Very disappointed and won't return. There are much warmer, more welcoming restaurants with efficient service to eat in.

Excellent restaurant with a great idea of food choices all reasonably priced . Indian , Italian and Scottish . All on the one Menu . The service is first class with great manners and Eye contact . The food was excellent . Our request for a quieter situated table , away from a large group who were enjoying themselves , was granted with no problem . Even though it was busy , 6 pm on a Sunday , we got a space in the car park . We will definitely be back .

Visited with friends for dinner. ALL agreed this was a fantastic dining experience. 75% of our party chose from the Asian Menu while 25% from the European Menu. Both menus provided an extensive choice of dishes to satisfy any palate. The chosen starters comprised 3 Pakoras, chicken, prawn and vegetable. Beautifully prepared and Presented, quite excellent. The mains comprised Chicken Tikka, Lamb Biryani, Kashmiri Chicken Korma, Punjabi Chicken and Steak Pie, again ALL wonderfully prepared and presented. Accompaniments comprised Boiled Rice, Chapatis, Nan Bread and Peshwari Nan. What a feed was had by all. Beers wine and soft drinks complemented the food. Highly Recommended. A further visit imminent.

Mark and his mom are lovely. The food is also very tasty and the prices are reasonable. Adverts need to be clearer that they no longer offer sit down meals and that the hour for hot take away are rather limited.

I visited Baxter's cafe on Monday 17/6/24 It was a bit dull inside & the music was a bit too loud & I told the waitress that was the reason I couldn't hear here & I thought 🤔 she would have taken the hint & turned it down a wee bit, but no chance . I had nice hot quite thick chicken 🐥 & rice soup 👍 My main course was their lovely tender hot stake pie & only one wee bit of meat in it was just a tad tough & the gravy was nice & thick & so were the proper chips - not those skinny fries🍟 I opted to have beans with it BUT sadly it was served up on a cold plate 🍽️ 😞 I had a lovely hot 🔥 latte in a nice tall glass. My cousin had a lovely baked 🥔 with coronation chicken 🐥 in it BUT part of the skin she couldn't eat & some folks like myself like to eat all the skin & Aromas Cafe in Falkirk you could accomplish just that 👍 I haven't tried other cafés in Airdrie yet

A lovely interior and it's in a great location. The staff seemed super friendly and professional. They had a decent cocktail menu, but being a "Gin Bar" I feel their gin selection is pretty poor... They didn't have the first 2 gins I asked for, one of which was a very common brand. There's plenty of non specialist bars in the area with a better gin selection. I was also a bit disappointed at the lack of perfect serve. Maybe my expectations were too high, but I don't think I'll be back.

Fantastic little gem. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable.

West is fantastic. But we are absolutely devastated the have stopped brewing their best beer (the DRK dark lager/dunkel). We will frequent less as a result. Please bring it back guys!!!

Never try the multaan special biryani. The waiter is kind and humble.

UPDATE. Been again today 25.3.25 New staff so gave the place another chance I specifically asked that’s the garlic bread not be dried to a crisp!!! And asked the fried food NOT to be cremated !!! Guess what YUP Garlic bread came out dried to a crisp with wee bits of butter on bits, and the hallumi fries CREMATED. SO FED UP I NEVER FINISHED FOOD - I was absolute starving too. Just left. Not happy ☹️ I asked BEFORE I got the food for it not to be over cooked and I was blatantly ignored. Here is previous review - Been too upset to do review. Called manager. Will never return. Food disgusting. Manager nice but chef attitude stinks. Bad service Would give no stars if possible I have been a loyal customer for years But will never return. Food way too greasy and inedible. Too expensive. All show and no substance place. Bitterly Disappointed

Amazing meal here at the new restaurant Faim. Very stylish interior with very chill vibes. All food excellent and a very well balanced menu of flavours. Will be back. Thanks again

Hay mucha publicidad en este lugar y está a la altura. Hay una opción para llevar, pero tuvimos la suerte de obtener un par de asientos con amplias vistas del personal de cocina que prepara la comida. El personal de camareros era perfecto y atento con todos los que trabajan allí manteniendo la calma cuando estaba totalmente ocupado. Fuimos por la opción del sándwich de pollo, que era uno de los mejores platos de pollo que había probado en años. Llenar pero no hasta el punto en que arruine el resto del día. En su lugar, no puedes esperar a volver de nuevo. No estaría fuera de lugar en Nueva York. Es un uso brillante de un espacio funcional que una vez no habría sido considerado como una buena parte de Glasgow. Pero eso está cambiando y este lugar está a la vanguardia de eso. El mejor brunch, el mejor servicio y la mejor experiencia que he tenido en un ambiente alimenticio durante años.

It’s a nice enough German style bar. Great selection of beer but oh my goodness the bar lady did not care at all about the customers. Completely disinterested to the point of being disrespectful. It’s better to try elsewhere when service is like this. Please try and be pleasant.
