Baxters Cafe in North Lanarkshire

I visited Baxter's cafe on Monday 17/6/24 It was a bit dull inside & the music was a bit too loud & I told the waitress that was the reason I couldn't hear here & I thought 🤔 she would have taken the hint & turned it down a wee bit, but no chance . I had nice hot quite thick chicken 🐥 & rice soup 👍 My main course was their lovely tender hot stake pie & only one wee bit of meat in it was just a tad tough & the gravy was nice & thick & so were the proper chips - not those skinny fries🍟 I opted to have beans with it BUT sadly it was served up on a cold plate 🍽️ 😞 I had a lovely hot 🔥 latte in a nice tall glass. My cousin had a lovely baked 🥔 with coronation chicken 🐥 in it BUT part of the skin she couldn't eat & some folks like myself like to eat all the skin & Aromas Cafe in Falkirk you could accomplish just that 👍 I haven't tried other cafés in Airdrie yet

Visited as a couple and very impressed with the homemade meat pies (packed with tender beef), peas and (grease-free) crispy chips. Finished with cream filled yum yum and chocolate eclair, accompanied by latte and tea. Couldnt fault any of the produce and staff were all super helpful and friendly. Highly recommend for quality and value.

I could only rate this as average - the fish was not particularly fresh and not very large. Although the small restaurant was busy, most of the customers appeared to be there for coffee rather than a meal. Service was ok and the staff pleasant.

This is a great find in Airdrie, largish cafe which was very clean, food was good and the staff very friendly

Wether you want a snack or a meal this is a great place to pop into everything is homemade and the steak pie is first class

Great Food, Kind and Courteous Owners, Food is made fresh, Nothing is to much of a hassle, something that other restaurant owners should take a tip from, like a good old fashion cafe! Something thats missing today.

We just called in for a drink here while in town and on holidayA lovely friendly lady served us and made us feel really welcomeThe place is VERY CLEAN and nice relaxing areas to sit with wifi as well.A really good cup of Coffee as well and not over priced either.Glad we found it

Siamo capitati per caso in questo bar e abbiamo assaggiato il caffè e il cappuccino più buoni di tutta l'Inghilterra. Veramente buono, supera anche molti bar italiani. Il proprietario è un esperto di caffè ed è appassionato al suo lavoro. I risultati si sentono. Se capitate da queste parti e avete nostalgia di un vero espresso al giusto prezzo, non esitate ad entrare
