Great pub, first time in this place and would go back for food and drinks

Well decided to take a plunge at this place. As pass it by many a times Untill I seen ther prices for serting days.which is real bonus. Only stayed for a few on a Friday. Not been in for over a year I think. I think I be back with my partner next time. As I will be moving to the area. .only down side is the bar stool. It's 2 hard to sit on for long lol. Never tried food but maybe next time. Not a bad pint of ice t. But when not doing cheep version it's a bit steep. But it's what you expect for merchant city. I b back... ps shame no jukebox

We had a great night here , fabulous meal from a varied menu we were very impressed.by a very attentive staff. thank you We will return soon.

Love Brel in Ashton lane. Very Cosy, quirky little nooks and crannies. Enjoyed a drink with my daughter here in March. Would definitely recommend

The best kebs in the district. The old man behind the counter has his moods sometimes. As for the place, I have never eaten there. But the place is quite cramped and there are often long queues. But I have been a customer since they were still selling at home and I think I will be for a long time 😊

Had the monster grill, it was great, but had a struggle to finish it. Watched football on the big telly. Good value for money

Visité hoy con 5 amigos de toda Escocia. Viajamos a Glasgow y elegimos The Chip de la reputación. Elegido como las expectativas eran altas, ya que era conocido como el principal establecimiento gastronómico de Glasgow con credenciales icónicas. Toda la experiencia estuvo muy por debajo de la media. Comer en The Brasserie era extremadamente fresco en temperatura. Nos sentamos con bufandas de lana y abrigos puestos durante toda nuestra comida. Cuando le preguntamos a nuestro servidor sobre la temperatura, dijeron que lo arreglarían. Nuestra comida era, en el mejor de los casos, tibia. El plato grande de coliflor estaba frío y fue enviado de vuelta. Fue reemplazado. El agua del grifo se llevó a la mesa en una vieja botella de ginebra Harris con la etiqueta vieja medio arrancada. Nuestro vino (pedimos 2 botellas de Sauvignon Blanc) era espeso con sedimentos. Ninguna botella fue reemplazada. En cambio, como nos quejamos de vidrios individuales, llenos de sedimentos, nuestro servidor trajo reemplazos que eran más pequeños que los vidrios contaminados. Nuestro servidor explicó que el sedimento era común en el vino orgánico (no era orgánico). Para su crédito, cuando discutimos nuestros comentarios con el gerente él aceptó que nuestra experiencia estaba por debajo de la par y nos reembolsó. Nos fuimos sintiéndonos totalmente decepcionados ya que nuestras expectativas eran altas.

First time visiting today after a bit of shopping at the nearby shops. I must say we were very impressed from start to finish. Clear social distancing guidelines set out and staff looked on top form, especially the girl Shanna who looked after us. She was very friendly and seemed genuinely interested in making sure we had a pleasurable experience. Food was tasty and portion sizes were spot on. We look forward to visiting again.

Staff Weber descarado e incomprendido. Pedí una mesa de 2 y solo me dijeron que había uno de mí, el personal claramente no tomó a mi muñeca como una persona real y después de que dejamos mi muñeca me dijo su sensación donde no Tolkien en consideración, de todos modos en la comida. Las fichas eran el estándar habitual de los Nando. Cuando me dieron mi pechuga de pollo y mis 12 platos de alas eran todos rosas como Barney el dino. Preferiría ir a casa y cocinar mis nuggies de auto-dino y papas fritas de cara sonriente. 2 palabras NO VOLVERÁ

Booked a meal and bus to/from Hampden for Pink, everything was brilliant, down to the place was playing Pink through dinner. Meal was good, cocktails were great and reasonably priced and most of all the staff were brilliant. Everything went well with the transport, will use this service again. Thank you!

Restaurant closed. No sign of life. Was after opening time. Tables and chairs not yet out. Saw someone else walk away too so that's more than just me they missed out on.

Used to really like it here but its gone down hill. The female bar tender yesterday was horrific, it felt as if she was doing us a favour by serving us, that was after she finally put her phone dkwn to acknowledge our very existance. I won't bother to burden the establishment with my custom again.
