Great beers at respectable prices in the city.

Went there with a group of friends, and had a great time. The food was tasty, portions great size too. Obviously a very good selection of beers too

If your hungry avoid, if you want nice beer then its ok. But myself and 4 others went in on Wed Night 18/10. The food was vile. We had the ribs sharer starter, there was no meat on them it was all bone cartilage and not very warm. For mains One had the Pizza type bread - They said it was good. One had the chicken burger that was that dry the only managed 3 bites. One had the fish. It smelled strange, the batter was so soggy as if microwaved. Also had a strange taste again very little eaten. The chips were cold. One had the 1/2 Chicken. Again was incredibly dry. Their chips were cold too. We tried to get a waitress but there was none around. Will not be back. If you want a pint and drink go to witherspoons and pick the sausage and pint and save the money.

Good bar with great German beers on tap. Food was good but could be better. Gets pretty loud with stag parties in the evenings so if you want to try some good beers and relax then going during the day is probably best.

We visited here on a work night out, the place was nice, the beer was nice and the staff were friendly, attentive and helpful, would definitely visit again.

The closest thing we have to a Munich bier halle. Much smaller but an amazing selection and really friendly/prompt staff. We were here for oktoberfest and they have 5 out of the big 6 on tap. Absolutely brilliant and the service was non stop. The currywurst was to die for. I've been here a few times and it's the atmosphere on a Saturday afternoon and proper German beer that always brings me back.

Perfect place with perfect drinks. It's hard to find a place that offers a better dark beer. We really liked the food. I recommend ❤️

One of the very best beer halls in Glasgow with a great range of German beers, although ot was fairly quiet, service wasn't as attentive as previous visits.

Food is nice but pricey. But to be fair I'm here for the liquid refreshments. Proper German beer. Best in town

Great service, staff are friendly and nice, great beer selection along with outdoor seating. Tbh I'd recommend inside just due to the atmospheric interior. Looks amazing inside and is well kept and clean. Didn't have food so can't comment on that but there seemed to be a decent choice of warm authentic meals On the menu. Not sure what it's like on a Fri sat nite as the twice I have been was during the day, but was still a great exp mainly due to the staff and products on offer. A must visit if your in town!

Quality German food and great range of beers. Excellent service and relaxing atmosphere. Very dog friendly too. The schnitzel is absolutely outstanding! Much better vegetarian / vegan options than you might think too. Can heartily recommend this place.

Food and drinks are outstanding and had an amazing time during my stag do were the staff were eager to show me a hospitable and good time! Having loved in Germany previously and eaten the cooking of my German Aunt the food ranks extremely highly not to mention the stein's mean that you can get your Oktoberfest conditioning training done in the off-season and save yourself on bar trips!

Lagers are awesome,nice selection of good German beers. Tried most of them before but not the Hacker pschorr gold and as always it was lovely.

This isn’t my favourite place in Glasgow, as I’m not a beer lover, but I’ve been a few times. It’s a pretty cold place in winter, especially if you’re in the middle of the downstairs hall. Great range of beer and drinks here - albeit pretty expensive, depending on what you choose. The staff are nice and service was quick. The food is great - good greasy deliciousness. Worth a visit, if only to see the decor and sample a beer you might not get elsewhere.

A group of us dropped in for lunch before a day out, and enjoyed our lunch and drinks. The staff were helpful when selecting our choice of beer and got it spot on the. The Bratwurts we all had were excellent and helped set us up for the day ahead.

A really nice idea to bring something German into a big city like Glasgow. The concept is based on Bavarian cuisine/design. The food was ok, the meat tasted very good, but overall the German implementation is a bit off. Nevertheless, there is a welcoming atmosphere and good German beers to drink there.

Fantastic! Great selection of german beers including Helles Augustiner or 1328 which, is my favourite Bavarian beer. The service was great the waitress helped my colleague find items that would align with his dietary requirements, she was really helpful. I had the Currywurst and it was exactly like I remembered! Would definitely recommend visiting for some good German beer and authentic Bavarian food

Booked here to watch Scot vs Switzerland. Excellent atmosphere. Great range of drinks. Food was delicious. Our server Melissa was really knowledgeable about the different drinks.

Went in with 2 dogs. Staff could not have been more friendlier! We had not booked but got us a table. Beer was great and food nice but staff make this place. Great atmosphere. Oompah band on at 8 which was good. Enjoyed our night here!

Great place to go to meet new people and enjoy the food. The Pub is beautifully made up in a Bavarian style with flags and banners. Loved the german type of beer they offered as my favourite was the cola-white beer in younger years The atmosphere was welcoming, you could talk to anyone of the guests in the pub and have a laugh. Scottish people are extremely friendly and I enjoyed my time Definitely going back

The Paulaner Original is my favourite. There's always a good pint to be had.

Service was slow. I had to wait 10 minutes to pay when the place was pretty much empty, but the food was a delight.

First time being in Bavaria Brauhaus. It was very busy but a very nice place to be in. I stayed for a few beers with friends & listened to the band, which were pretty good. 👍

Absolutely loved our dinner here whilst on a trip to Glasgow. Great selection of authentic German beers and some really simple explanations of them all if you are not familiar with ales. Very nice staff as well and the sausage was lush

Good food, a little pricey for currworst but lovely setting. Not sure if it was just a quiet night but not mich of an atmosphere. Will give it another go, as I did love the setting.

This is the second time I’ve been to this German restaurant (it’s also the second time I’ve been to Glasgow, I always come here). I remember the sausages and sauerkraut were very delicious last time, so I specially brought my girlfriend to come here again. I chose currywurst last time, so I chose bratwurst this time. I originally thought that the pork flavor of this sausage was a bit strong, but after dipping it in the accompanying sweet mustard sauce, I felt that this dish has been sublimated. It can be said that they complement each other. Good review! As we never like to drink beer, we decided to try German beer when we saw the name of the store. The waitress was very patient in introducing us to the characteristics of various beers. In the end, we chose two of the two she recommended. One was slightly sweet. (I remember it was called xx Kellerbier), which received unanimous praise from us. The special fragrance is very charming; the other one is also very fresh and feels good. Drinking beer here has refreshed our understanding of beer, and I feel like we will want to try other German beers in the future. In comparison, the Bavarian beef stew tastes a bit ordinary and the portion is not large. Compared with the sausages we ordered with the discount set meal, it is not very affordable. But overall, this is still a remarkable store with reasonable prices and friendly service. It is worth recommending. Overall, nice beer, tasty wurst, beautiful price, friendly service, I'll recommend

Chicken pitta bonner/shawarma was good.

Large beer selection with cellar beer from Ayinger, various Schneider wheat beers and much more, including non-alcoholic. The hax'n was very good, nice crust and fell off the bone perfectly. The sauerkraut was fine for a brewery abroad. The red cabbage was more of a salad and I left it alone. That would have been better left out. Nice ambience

Table for four, please. No problem, Mr. Kearns. Four hours later we left, full of the finest Bavarian Pils, other assorted German beers and great food. Thank you so much. Table service was amazing, friendly and prompt. As for the atmosphere, dozens of friendly punters, cheery staff and the best Oompah band in Glasgow.

Me and my friend came here after work and after a couple drinks ordered some snacks with a side of gravy (based on our servers recommendation). The gravy came and was really watery so my friend asked if we could have it thickened up, our server apologised and explained this was a mistake and got this rectified. Came back with another serving of our food with the gravy changed and tasting amazing and also gave us a free shot and took the cost of our bill. We honestly weren’t even really complaining and were already happy with the food, really amazing customer service. Will definitely be back and recommending this place to friends, atmosphere is amazing too! I think our server’s name was Becky but the second girl who also served us was fab too.

Nice sausages but it would be great if you could also offer them in a plain bun with mustard and ketchup like they have at those Christmas festivals in Glasgow. Also you could also offer plain fries too. If you did that I might be a regular customer for you. I hope you do well in your business venture. 🙂

Fake "German" atmosphere. Nothing even compared with a true German pub. But in any case good enough choice of bottled German beer. Only for taste not for mood

Good steins and lovely interior - however the food is abysmal. Ordered the vegan bratwurst (which costs around £12) and it's literally just a plain dry bread roll, limp faux meat sausage, plus some sad sauerkraut and limp rocket on the side. Seriously?! The food came and we requested a refund, which was initially denied (very rudely) There was 0 effort to offer an alternative meal choice, despite the shocking quality of what had been presented. It was only at the end of our evening when we requested again that the (untouched) meal be taken off the bill that this was done. But then the second bill ADDED a service charge, bringing the total bill to the same original price! Despite the service being appalling + staff's rudeness! Go here for the beer, but AVOID ordering food at all costs ❌🙅‍♀️

Love coming to this place with friends, usually always a table to sit it, massive selection of beers and quite enjoy a beer flight. Some are quite strong, Very different to what else Glasgow has to offer. Haven't eaten here yet though but it looks good from what I've seen.

Staff are always great food was very good and the beer paddles are a great way to discover more of the variety of drinks on the menu

Paulaner Original is my weakness.

Great place to have a wee refreshment and catch up with pals. They cater for many dietary requirements woth food and drink with good vegan and gluten free options. I'm a big fan of alcohol free beers and cider and they had plenty of options on offer. We had x4 varieties of the loaded fries. All were delicious. The decor is pretty cool, ambience was pitched right for our meet up. Staff provide table service and were very attentive. We will be back.

Great place for a pint, terrible for food. Raw chips, dry chicken wings. The staff were absolutely great, took it off bill and gave us some complimentary drinks but I would not be back for food. Really dog friendly, brought water and treats for her and the pub itself is great.

Guten tag! That's good day in German. If flags are your thing, this just maybe the place for you. There's one for everyone. The biggest upset for me though was they'd just been hung up straight from their packets, If they'd seen an iron I'd given this place a five. A small detail I know, but let's face it when consuming some of Bavaria's finest lagers it matters. I will definitely be visiting again, but and it's a big BUT I hope those flags are crease free.

Did not have food. However staff were rude and quite frankly did not add anything to help make the end of my nieces 18th birthday a good one. Will not be back.

Stopped by here with a friend the other week as we were looking for somewhere to have dinner. We came across the Bavaria Brauhaus and the menu looked good! Luckily the food didn’t disappoint, it was delicious and they had so many good veggie and vegan options! I got the cauliflower bites and the jalapeño loaded fries, while my friend got the Classic Bratwurst. We also had a cocktail each which were stunning. I highly recommend stopping by for food or drinks. The service was good and we will be back soon!!
