The food was nice but when we ordered we was given wrong order and we said it was wrong then got the correct order and the workers was kinda rude

My partner and I went for lunch today and were both very impressed with both food and staff. The 3 courses we had were delicious and the staff were on hand for anything you needed. Lovely surroundings and we had the bonus of meeting a lovely couple on the table next to us. We will for sure be returning soon.

Such a gorgeous pub and lovely staff, delicious pub grub. Lovely beer garden. A shame as sadly full of scallies and coke heads these days.

Equipo grosero, pre fin de semana largo en París. Escoltado a una cabina, sucio, polvoriento, cubo de hielo lleno de marcas de dedos y sucio. Champagne , ambas copas sostenidas en una mano para servir. Papas fritas caras (no francesas) servidas en un recipiente crudo. Por el precio esperado mejor.

Nice place with friendly staff. I wanted to leave this review just to highlight how ridiculously small the cheesecake slices are… don’t bother as it feels like robbery when it arrives. The chips are always yummy but always cool and never hot. And the new pickle burger DONT BOTHER. £15 and it has the smallest chicken fillet known to man. It all slides out when bitten and is very poor value. Think I had 3 pickles (sliced gherkins like Maccies do)

Stayed one night in mid-May 2025, 3rd floor room. Entry is vague - enter through the pub. No reception desk. Expensive, but I chose this for the location. No elevator; steep, narrow stairs. Room and shared bath were both clean. Roof leak at east entry bay.

Usually Nandos in Newbury provides a pretty consistent service and food, but the last 2 times it's been lacking. This evening was particularly bad, we were in a queue of 3 groups waiting to be seated and no one seemed to care. There was plenty of seating available and the requirement is wait to be seated. When that eventually happened and we ordered, the server we had proceeded to serve the starter course over the back of the bench seating, puzzling herself as to how she was going to reach the table ... until my husband took pity and took the plate from her. Just a few more steps around the seating and it wouldn't have been an issue. While we waited what felt like an eternity for the meal to be served, all I could see was food orders stacking up on the counter. No one was being served their orders. Then came the meal. I don't know in what universe a quarter chicken is just a leg and thigh? Even the menu pointed out the breast meat calories yet there was none to be seen. At the point when the server checked if the food was okay, I hadn't twigged this was the case, and of course, my mouth was also full of what I was eating ... I get there is a chicken shortage, hence no butterfly chicken, but don't sell the portions of chicken if you don't have them. I wonder what half a chicken might look like. Leg, thigh and wing? It's a shame. Nandos has been typically great. Fast, easy, no fuss food. Seems like improvements are needed if that's to come back quickly.

Went here this evening to see what it was like and was warmly greeted by the staff and seated very quickly. The staff were very friendly and attentive, the wines were really good and the Sunday roast was one of the best we’ve ever had. I’m very fussy when it comes to roast dinners and honestly, it was insane! We will certainly be back!

Frecuenciamos este restaurante con amigos sin embargo en las últimas dos visitas hemos encontrado que es más de una resistencia que un disfrute. Esperábamos que la visita anterior fue una única, sin embargo, después de nuestra última experiencia, lamentablemente no. Nuestros amigos y nosotros mismos tenemos el “Ave temprana” un precio fantástico y un montón para elegir. Por el precio la comida está por encima del estándar esperado para una oferta de comida, sin embargo, es el servicio lo que estropea la experiencia. Dos veces ahora nuestro camarero nos ha hecho sentir incómodos e incómodos. Él no nos dio contacto visual alguno y fue extremadamente hosco y abrupto, y sé que no quieren que nos quedemos, pero estar de pie y esperando a que me coma mis dos últimos bocados para arrebatar mi plato es simplemente grosero! ¡Y eso fue solo el comienzo! This is a hotel. Turned up no food for 3 hours. General manager and staff couldn't care less. Do not stay here! I don't believe I have ever checked out of a hotel before and I am 60. This is a very poor place

Our first impression of this restaurant was amazing. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating. We were immensely pleased by the level of service but most of all the quality and quantity of food ordered. All meals ordered were delicious. The ambiance also made our first experience memorable. We will certainly recommend this restaurant and return one day soon. Thank you and well done to all the team at the Airman.

Wasn't until I ordered and paid that I was informed that they were out of the item I ordered. Had to pick something else that I didn't want, got attitude when I asked for a refund on my sides - no, I don't want chips and gravy with a rice bowl. Ridiculously overpriced for what I ended up with.

Nicest nandos we've had in a while But above all the manager was brilliant Such a genuinely nice person with so much humanity, he was so helpful towards us and our young baby literally 10 out of 10 service Top Guy !!

Pasamos por un almuerzo rápido temprano ayer (domingo) esperando una visita bastante rápida con un delicioso almuerzo. En cambio, no había suficiente personal, la comida se apilaba bajo las lámparas de comida y los pedidos salían por todas partes. Había pedido un maíz sobre la mazorca sin asarlo a la parrilla (que suele ser jugoso y delicioso) , por lo que cuando finalmente llegó nuestra comida, la comida estaba fría y el maíz arrugado, seco y frío. Le pregunté al servidor si podía tener otro, me trajeron uno igual de frío / seco, pero tenía bordes marrones. El chef vino y me dijo que todos se veían así y quería algo más, así que me enviaron un poco de brócoli frío en su lugar. No terminamos comiendo todas nuestras comidas, ya que eran decepcionantemente malos y enviarlo de vuelta no nos llevaba a ninguna parte. Entonces, cuando nos íbamos, en la mesa de al lado había un tipo que tenía dos jugosos mazorcas de maíz en su plato. ¿El chef me estaba mintiendo? Quizás dejes de permitir que tanta comida se amontone bajo las lámparas de calor y saques la comida cuando esté caliente antes de que se estropee. Y no aceptes el hecho de que su maíz es tan malo como mis dos opciones. ¡Debí haber venido a M&S y comprar el mío!
