Good place to chill...enjoyed it

The Church is a lovely old pub in the heart of the Jewellery Quarter with quirky decor, a fantastic range of cocktails and an amazing Sunday Roast. Staff are friendly and helpful and it was lovely to see a few regulars on the Sunday we were in there. Definitely worth a visit - particularly for the huge and amazingly good value Sunday Roast.

We came to visit giraffe for a birthday dinner and the staff were exceptionally kind to us. Whilst ordering drinks i declined the offer of getting a drink. He asked multiple times and after i denied multiple times he took it upon himself to give me a free drink that someone had ordered earlier but not picked up. He was so lovely, I 100% recommend this place

The place is even more amazing than before, they have done a new makeover and added a lot of more variety to the menu, it is definitely pocket friendly and the taste is 2nd to none !! I always come here and a regular happy customer :-)

Chicken Livers and Coleslaw were lovely but the chips were cold because they waited too long on the kitchen counter before serving.

We popped in here for a drink on the way back from Noels last year. I have been meaning to write a review, but have kept forgetting! Hopefully things have changed, but we found the service to be very abrupt indeed. Admittedly, it wasn't a million miles from closing time (we probably had 40-45 minutes left), but we weren't made to feel welcome at all. Even after ordering a bottle of pink champagne, 3 double whiskeys, and some gin and tonics, the mood didn't improve - which you think it would after spending 200 odd quid. Won't be rushing back.

Fue muy lejos la peor experiencia gastronómica que hemos tenido en Birmingham en 18 meses Empezó muy mal cuando 2 de las 3 bebidas que pedimos no estaban disponibles. Lo único positivo de la noche fueron los entrantes que disfrutamos los tres. Luego esperamos mucho tiempo para nuestro plato principal, la mayoría de los cuales se pasó con vasos de bebidas vacías. El servicio fue terrible. El plato principal finalmente llegó y fue repugnante. El pollo estaba seco, las verduras crudas y el arroz solo estaba caliente. Cuando le señalamos esto a la camarera nos ofrecieron otro entrante y café, que fue rechazado. La camarera admitió increíblemente que probablemente fue porque estaban ocupados y tratando con grupos grandes. Dedujeron el 20% de la factura, pero aún así pagamos más de £ 100 por 3 entrantes que eran comestibles y un par de bebidas Nunca volveremos y nos aseguraremos de transmitir nuestra verdadera decepción a todos los que podamos.

Ordered food from here, ordered lamb chops which came as diced lamb and were freezing cold and had gone hard fries and naan which was also not edible due to the temperature. Called to speak with the manager and was told they are extremely busy which was their excuse for lack of edible food

Pagué por 2 bebidas para sentarse. Ambos llegaron en tazas para llevar. Incluso los pos tenían fotos de las bebidas que pedimos en tazas de porcelana para sentarse y tazas de papel para llevar. Me parece que es más conveniente para el personal servir todo en vasos de papel para evitar lavarse ... cuando usted está pagando probablemente pagando más para sentarse, entonces usted esperaría más que vasos de papel. En términos de bebidas, el chocolate caliente era como caliente en el mejor de los casos. El personal hizo mucho ruido y las conversaciones entre los clientes que atendían rugieron en toda la tienda.
