Breakfast was beautiful would have eaten two ifci was alone

Didn't get taken to our seats, which meant that when we discovered there was only one seat at our table of two we has to find someone to help. We were not given menus and it was not made clear we should order through the app. The nachos arrived stone cold and we had to send them back. Good atmosphere and the food was alright, food and drink were relatively quick (especially at it was a bit busy) but pretty let down by the very limited service despite not too much required.

Had an amazing chorizo eggs royale mash up here and it was gorgeous. Staff were friendly, service on point. Highly recommend 👌

Incredible food! I ordered the shrimp po boy which was amazing, fresh succulent prawns with a perfect crunchy cajun batter. Was able to order through a qr code which is preferable as servers did seem a bit rushed off their feet due to the amount of orders though were still very friendly :).

Food was great. But we were here for a bottomless brunch and the selection of drinks available is rubbish. After an hour we’d only had 1 drink! Hands down the worst bottomless brunch Ive ever been too! Out of the 6 cocktails available on the menu, I honestly couldn’t recommend one! They were all vile!

Food and service was fantastic just wasn’t a fan of everybody being crammed into one corner when the rest of the place was empty so asked to be seated somewhere else and was happily moved so 10/10

Fantastic takes on cocktails cost around £10 each, great little place to enjoy a drink, background music and great vibe. It can get a little cold when the door gets opened but for a few moments and the toilets do require regular cleaning. Has a little photo booth at the back £5 card payment to capture memorable moments.

Ryan was a very helpful bartender who guided me through the drinks menu to help me find a great drink. Immaculate service, a testament to the bar. 10/10 would recommend.

Friendly and attentive service. Had the Monday burger special for 2, great value and very much enjoyed the burgers and fries. Our order was done via me&u which was a great experience too. Would come back again.

Walked in and informed the man we had a table booked, he then walked away, checked his laptop then came back and took us to a table with 0 communication, no drinks menus, majority of items missing from the food menu. Ended up leaving and going elsewhere

We were on a Saturday afternoon outing & popped in here for drinks, nice place by the canals, not too cold so we sat outside instead. Good atmosphere around the place with plenty of people there.

Where do I start!!!! Service 100/100 Atmosphere 10/0… it was my 1st time going here and it will not be my last…already planning to come back in a few weeks with family…. Peanut Butter n Jelly Wings - Super filling and nice 8/10 Onion rings - Massive 7/10 Corn ribs starters - 7/10 Loaded Nachos - 9/10 Chips 9/10 Chicken n waffle - 9/10 Mocktails & Cocktails 9/10 Overall the food was amazing and I can’t wait to come back to try more of the menu like I’m very impressed….see the pictures for future reference to the amazing food

I went for a bottomless brunch here and it was quite good. We had a lovely server who I think might’ve been the manager too. She was very bubbly and nice to talk to. I liked the food and the drinks selection was ok compared to other standard bottomless brunches where it’s just a list of beers. I would definitely come again.

Shocking service - booked 4 months ago and requested to be seated close by - wouldn’t return

Went to Gas street social for a quick late lunch. The place was pretty much empty and got seated quickly. The staff are friendly and polite. The place is quirky, clean and spacious. There is plenty of seating. Ordered some sandwiches with sides. Everything was absolutely delicious and left so full. Some good portions. The only downside was the loaded fries which had a bit too much toppings and made the fries a bit soggy but that's a personal preference. Tried their battered gherkins and they were delicious as well as the onion rings. Overall nice experience and definitely will be back in future.

I've been to Gas Street Social a few times now and they never disappoint! Great food, drinks and atmosphere. I try to come whenever I'm in Birmingham.

We visited as a work Christmas do having the bottomless brunch. The atmosphere was really good. We were given an area just for our party and jugs of cocktails were brought out regularly. Our server was incredible and put up with us even when we were noisy! The food was ok. Not bad but nothing particularly special. However, this didn't matter because everything else was great. Would highly recommend. We hope to book again this Christmas!

Food was fine, nothing special, but the service was of the highest standard - friendly and helpful without being chummy and false. The bar/restaurant is attractive and has a good vibe. Music is played at just the right volume. Highly recommended.

Great brunch visit, with the boys! The staff were great, topping up our drinks, whenever required. A nice selection of drinks and Food. Will be going back in 2024.

Visited over the Christmas period and it was quite busy. However there was a computer glitch and the food order took ages to arrive but it was well worth waiting for.

This is a mix of cosy and chic. The server was very attentive and kind. The food was delightful. The music volume did increase at one point, making it a little more difficult to converse. But overall, it was a great experience and I would go again.

Far too many of us had food poisoning the next day. Food was horribly seasoned with everyone commenting in the gravy, two people struggling to eat anything because of how much pepper was put into it. And I mean black pepper - so much that it tasted spicy! Drinks were mixed horribly, almost nothing tasting like it should. Even a simple daiquiri was trash in the hands of Gas Street Social. Staff were busy so not much attention but that's okay to me.

Manager went above and beyond. The food was really nice and lots of choice of drinks other than just Prosecco. Would come again.

Booked a bottomless brunch for 4 on Saturday afternoon. Went here before and had a relatively nice experience however will not be back after this visit. Food wasn't good, bacon pancakes were stodgy and salty, triple cooked chips were more like cremated wedges. Rest of the table didn't really enjoy their food either. Service was extremely slow, I understand we're coming during peak times but we couldn't even flag down a server several times. Ended up only having 4 rounds of cocktails in 90 minutes with most of the empty glasses sitting on the table.

Great venue for meet-ups, and the food is good. Live music is not too loud, and local artists are fab.

No table service for ordering was my biggest gripe. We ordered through the app and by default we ordered an extra side by accident. Servers were nice, but having someone to actually serve and confirm order would be a great touch.

The gas street social,it looks nice from the outside. It's OK inside. Went with work colleagues we were all freezing sitting down. We used the scan app on table. We all decided to have mocktails and were not impressed as when the mocktails came the glasses were over filled with ice. 4 sips and the drinks were finished and at nearly £9 each, not impressed. I still think people should go there to make up their own minds.

We went for the bottomless brunch at Gas Street Social and had poor service at the start due to understaffing. However, as soon as I made a waitress aware, our experience completely changed! Millie was kind, helpful and made every effort to make sure that we had amazing service. Thank you Millie! Overall, it was a good experience only let down by a lack of staff presence for the first half an hour.

I had the Eggs Burgerdict, with a side of seasoned tots and a hot chocolate. All were good, but the tots were a standout.

Went for a bottomless brunch on a busy Saturday, we were served by Kiyah she was very friendly and gave fantastic service. A couple of times our drinks took a while due to it being busy but she made sure we had enough during our bottomless. Food is tasty.

Brilliant service with delicious food, We were actually about 25 minutes late for our table, but the team at Gas Street had no issues with this at all and seated us, food was fast, delicious and well priced!

Went for bottomless brunch but unfortunately wasn't very impressed we had to wait over 30 minutes to get our drinks topped up and they were not very nice I understand that saturdays are busy for the staff but when you only have a set amount of time at the table we didn't really get our moneys worth 🥲 sorry

Had a perfect Friday evening date night here. Lovely atmosphere and attentive staff. Massive shout out to the person who created the playlist because the music was awesome! Food was fab too - generous portion size and very tasty. I would’ve liked the burger buns to be a bit softer and the onion rings a little crispier but this is purely personal preference. Would 100% come back.

Went here on a Thursday for a pre-booked bottomless brunch. It was a nice day so we asked if we could sit outside (there were plenty of tables). They were reluctant to let us do this and said it would be easier for them to serve us if we sat inside at a table close to the bar. They did allow us a table outside in the end. They told us that although the booking was for 2hrs, we wouldn’t not be able to order any drinks within the last 15minutes. I’ve never heard of this before. Food was lovely. Very tasty and a good selection. Drinks were average at best. Not a great selection and we sat for a long time with empty glasses after each drink. Staff were friendly and polite but service was VERY slow and it was clear that they didn’t have enough staff to manage, even though this was a mid-week afternoon. Would not recommend.

This establishment is well placed and has an exceptional view. We visited on a warm evening so this place was busy. The staff could have done with a bit more help as they seem to spend an awful lot of time mixing cocktails which dramatically increases the wait time. Not much in the way of ales just larger cider wines cocktails etc.

Our server Greg was incred, he made our bottomless brunch experience top tier! Would definitely recommend, we’ll be back, just for Greg🤩 10/10

We waited an hour to order after we were seated. During which, we asked two different staff members if we could order and informed them about the delay, but neither of them ever came back. By an hour, we were leaving and informed the manager who was apologetic and advised she would start our bottomless brunch from that time, and would ensure good service. Our new waiter was lovely, but the wait times for food and drink were still not good. They then also had the audacity to include a discretionary service charge on our bill after all of that. We saw and spoke to other diners who were also waiting/complaining/walking out. It appeared to be luck whether or not you got served quickly. Have been before and loved it, which is why we returned, but won't be doing so again, and will warn people off.

Would recommend and hope to return soon. 2023 Back again but also for food...... bar staff mixing superb cocktails, would recommend the Hazelnut Martini, food was sumptuous....couldn't make desert lol. Special thanks to Laura and the lady behind the bar (sorry didn't get her name) for excellent service. Would definitely recommend.

Went without a reservation which was our own fault so ended up sitting outside, but had to wait 40 minutes from ordering to receiving our food. The staff were all lovely and doing a good job, just the wait for food wasn't good. Some menu errors e.g. the Vegan Breakfast stated on the menu that it came with two (v) sausages, however on the app it came without and a +£3 surcharge, this should be updated as this was confusing. The food was fine.

Unfortunately I visited here with my friend for some lunch and a very rude waitress (she had red hair) ruined our whole experience. Our phones weren’t working with the bar code on the table so we went to the bar to order food. She told us she would be a few minutes as she had lots of tickets for the bar to which we replied no worries. She then proceeded to make the drinks and talk about us and how ‘annoying’ and ‘ridiculous’ we were with her colleague. Terrible service! Don’t know why people work in customer service jobs when they clearly aren’t fit for them

Gas Street, feel like I've been Gas-lit! Don't have any Nacho option, £16 for something smaller than a Starter.

Went for Bottomless Brunch yesterday. Very disappointing not enough staff to cope with customers the service was very slow. The Cocktails tasted horrible didn't like any of them and neither did any of the 6 other people I was with. The food was really not up to much definitely not value for money. I won't be returning

Great bottomless brunch, nice variety of drinks which you don't often get at these events. Food was great and the servers were over regularly to top up drinks without any real prompting. I'll be back soon!

- Got our order wrong and blamed it on me. Shared our food until the other arrived. - When instructing us to hand her the dirty plates to clear the table , she scraped food off the plate onto another and flicked bits of food on to me. - lady that seated us and the two lads that brought our drinks were lovely.

We went to Gas Street Social for the brunch and I would definitely say it's worth the money. Even though they were low staff, May kept our drinks topped up and she was a genuinely nice and funny person! You get to choose which drinks you have each time which is good rather than sticking to the same. Food was delicious and the hash browns were the best I have ever had!!

Came here for bottomless brunch but realised it was bottomless orange juice. A terrible play on false advertising! It's bottomless orange juice and you can only tolerate so much of that in 2 hours! Service was good but the food was terrible, overcooked and had to send it back. Didn't have the heart to ask for it to be done again, and by then my friends had also eaten their dinner. Too many rules and a sad old experience, so would not recommend to others. Even slug and lettuce would be an effort on this!

As nhs workers and not having much time off, we decided to come for bottomless brunch for our friends 30th birthday! Do not bother! You are basically paying £20 for fizzy orange juice, it is debatable if there is any alcohol in it at all. We ended coughing and having runny eyes as something was clearly being burnt in the kitchen. The alarms went off and all the staff had to open the main doors to let the smoke out! My friend ordered a chicken burger, which was completely burnt to the point it was inedible. She showed it to the waitress who was good enough to change it for her but the second one was also burnt. She didnt want to complain for a second time as the rest of us had finished our dinner. Although they did discount the meal in the end, they still added an £8 service charge to the bill. We did not pay this. Basically the bottomless brunch is very poor value, with lots of rules and a very poor choice of drinks unless you like juice. I would recommend going to one of the others in the city instead . This ruined a special day out for us. If I could give zero stars I would .

Was in Birmingham on my birthday and went there for dinner. Great burger, great cocktails, some of the best service I've ever had. They even surprised me with a birthday dessert and the other customers sang happy birthday to me. Loved it. If I lived near Birmingham I'd go all the time.

Really great service from our server May she kept our drinks topped up and food was really nice nobody out of the 7 of us had a complaint. Best waffles I've ever had. Really great place for food and drinks would 100% recommend. Nice outside in the sun by the canal.

Very average. Came for a bottomless brunch on bank holiday Sunday. Place was understaffed so we sat with empty drinks for 10/15 mins trying to get someone's attention. Wings were great but burger was very chargrill/slightly burnt. Definitely had better elsewhere with better service and cheaper as the deal is for drinks but need to have a main on top

No cookie notice or privacy notice from which I can find a GDPR contact. Looks like scammers. Latest: Microsoft has quarantined them for phishing attacks. If they are from Gas Street Social, avoid. If they're not.. well they've had four days to respond to my review and they haven't. Either way delete their emails.

A bit loud and clattery atmosphere. Not the place for a catch up with friends or chat as too loud. Quirky decor and funky vibe though

Atmosphere great initially stopped for one but stayed great night

Ordered food during the Great Birmingham Run, wasn't busy and explained we only want nachos because we want to get to see people at the end of the race, however we waited over 25 minutes for them and had to cancel. Drinks were good but slow to arrive. Waitress wasn't bothered about it.

Went here for both breakfast and Dinner. Both were delicious and pleasent. Loved how you can just order and pay straight from the QR code on the table. The three amigos nachos were a little spicy though which I didn't like. Other than that, good experience

Great atmosphere. Food was OK. Went for the bottomless brunch. Place was very busy so think the food was being rushed out. Drinks kept flowing. Staff despite being busy were very helpful.

As our kid stated to us "amazing pancakes" with the added bonus of bacon and being gluten free. The adults All happy, pancakes with fruit and a burger with slow cooked chilli on top as I couldn't make up which side of breakfast or lunch I should aim for. Great looking place with all the customers enjoying themselves. Sitting across from the kitchen I watched the chefs work in sympatico delivering dish after dish, and the quality service reflects on the food on your plate.

Great place for brunch and lovely food. We booked beforehand for Saturday afternoon and the place was busy but excellent service from the Black guy with the durag - he was sooo helpful in helping us decide the food and drinks which were all wonderful. The cocktails had a bit too much ice though but overall I would definitely recommend to go to this place for brunch and their unique cocktails!
