The Ivy Temple Row in Birmingham

First...it ain't cheap its The Ivy ....but you'll have known that when you booked ...That aside...it was a wonderful experience...I'm just a humble postie so these treats are few and far between so they have to be enjoyable...and this experience was. I had steak tartare to start...it was exquisite..my wife had scallops which she liked...though in fairness was not blown away...Then the mains My chicken milanese was the best I've ever eaten with a side of buttered peas and asparagus...I absolutely loved it...My wife absolutely loved her ossobuco the meat seemed to melt from the bone...Service was wonderful...Tables were very close to each other ...which bothered me not the slightest as everybody seemed to be having a good time....Il be saving up the pennies to make sure we eat there again soon...loved it...

Bad service tough steak over priced. Ordered wine placed in ice bucket away from table noticed waitress pored our wine at another table. When challenged she stated she would have to ask the manager if they could rellac3 it ??? It was our wine but gave some of it to another table. My son ordered steak it went back twice was a cheap steak and not cooked tough as anything. We told them to just take it away. Very disappointing evening.

What an experience. Walked in off the street to be welcomed by Mike the bar tender. Having just had lunch at Pasture it was a hard act to follow but I can honestly say Mike you made our entire day. Great service, attention to detail & you most certainly went that extra mile. I tried to leave you a tip & your reply was the lord will reply you. I hope the lord watches how hard you word & how much you deserve your reward. I love leaving a place remembering great times, this was definitely one.

From the moment we arrived we were looked after. We all had 3 courses which all tasted lovely. Ucha our waiter was particularly helpful as well as the other staff. The atmosphere was lovely and in gorgeous surroundings. We had a lovely time and hope to be back. Definitely recommend for that extra special day.

The food and service at The Ivy in Birmingham was excellent. Ucha was a great waiter, attentive, friendly but not in your face. We ate from the daily specials menu which was delicious. We have a meet up every few months and this is our go to restaurant

I just had an amazing experience at The Ivy. Our waiter, Ucha, was fantastic. He was super friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal.

Was made to feel very welcome as a solo diner. Had halloumi with red pepper salsa to start (salsa obviously straight from the fridge and a bit too cold), followed by sea bass fillet which was good and tasty. Excellent waiting staff. Live music was on and good.

All good - service could be quicker. If you’re just stopping by for a casual meal on the go, it might feel like a long wait before you’re out. Also a bit dark - could use more lighting. Lots of older folks shining a light over the menu, which is quite funny! Kids friendly environment (2 yrs old)

Rather expensive but the food is good quality, large variety of meals on the menu especially drinks, the interior is stunning with lovely decorations for Christmas. Service was quick and the waiters gave my grandma a special dessert for her 80th.

Ordered the Fish and chips this time, it was fantastic, probably the best fish and chips I've had for a very long time. Loved the atmosphere and the service was really good.

The most drab, tasteless, soggy, disappointing breakfast I've ever had. I went to the Ivy to have a special breakfast with my husband. It took almost 30 mins before someone came to take our order, then we waited for ages for the food and when it came it looked like something you'd get on plane. My husband (trying to be healthy) ordered the vegan cooked breakfast with pastries and a smoothie. The egg looked like rubber and the tomato was a cheap lonely plumb tomato. there was a tiny portion of what was clearly Heinz baked beans in a min saucepan (pointless) to try and make it look better - this didn't work. I ordered smashed avocado on toast with tomato, it was supposed to come with pomegranate, seeds and coriander. There was nothing on it only two grotty looking plum tomatoes. We waited so long for the food to come, and were so disappointed with it. We didn't want to ruin or special breakfast by having to wait any longer to eat so we just ate it and didn't ask the waiter to take it away. At the end of the meal the waiter asked my husband if the meal was good and he said - no it was really disappointing. The waiter shrugged and said "are you still going to pay the bill" .... I will never go to the Ivy again it was a terrible experience.

Lovely afternoon celebrating our daughters 30th, nice comfortable surroundings, atmosphere was buzzing. Food was great. Superb service from our waiter Judah. Will be going back for the cod, duck was excellent and plenty of it.

Booked afternoon tea for two. The sandwiches were disappointing and flavourless. The scones were okay but the amount of cream and jam was minuscule and nowhere near enough for 4 scones. The other cakes were no particularly enjoyable, battenburg looked awful & after one mouthful it tasted like it looked. Eclair had an terrible pink icing (who thought that looked okay?). Disappointing doesn’t cover it

Like the previous review, the music was not what we expected to be greeted with at the Ivy. Very loud, could not have a proper conversation. Glad to hear it is a one off. Felt like we were in a nightclub. That said, the food was lovely as always. The noise is why I only gave 3 stars.

I've been visiting The Ivy for years, but my last visit left me deeply disappointed. On Sunday, 2nd February 2024, we went for a late lunch/early dinner, only to be met with an inexplicable decision—a DJ playing loud music. Firstly, the noise meant our waiter couldn't hear my order, so I never received my starter. Secondly, it was so loud that our party of six struggled to hold a conversation. The atmosphere was unbearable, and we ended up cutting our meal short and leaving. As a loyal customer of The Ivy across the country, I’m disheartened to see it heading in this direction. It has lost its special charm and no longer feels like a place to treat yourself. Very disappointing.

Went to The Ivy Temple Row and had the set menu, which was great value for the quality of food. The steak was cooked perfectly and really tender, definitely a solid choice if you’re unsure what to go for. But the real highlight? The sticky toffee pudding. Easily one of the best I’ve had—rich, sticky, and just the right amount of sweetness. Highly recommend saving room for dessert because it’s absolutely worth it. Service was great, the atmosphere was classy but still relaxed, and the whole experience felt like a treat without being too over the top. Would definitely go back!

Attended for an 18th birthday lunch. Amazing food, delicious cocktails, pretty and inviting environment. Staff super helpful, very quick to clear up, felt a bit intense at some points but overall lovely experience.

An Outstanding Experience with Brilliant Service! We had the pleasure of dining at The Ivy recently, and I can’t speak highly enough of the experience. From the moment we arrived, the service from Raluca was absolutely brilliant. She went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and well taken care of throughout the meal—friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. She made my birthday feel really special - thank you. So, when we visited again recently, we were delighted to be served by her again. As for the food, it was nothing short of delightful. Every dish was bursting with flavour, and you could tell that a lot of care and attention went into preparing each one. The salt and pepper squid tempura and steaks were a highlight—packed with rich, fresh ingredients and beautifully presented. The combination of fantastic food and exceptional service made this a dining experience to remember. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a top-notch meal with a personal touch!

Casual lunch with friends on a weekday. Relaxed with no pressure from the pleasant staff. Fixed menu not cheap but enough choice to please all.

Afternoon tea for my husband’s birthday. Lovely welcome but restaurant extremely noisy and tables very close together. Sandwiches were a little stale and tasted as though they had been in a fridge for a while. Absolutely no almond or cherry flavour in the Battenberg cake. Scones were nice but a very small serving of jam. We were charged extra for hot chocolates despite them being on the afternoon tea menu so had to challenge the bill and they were removed. Nice touch to offer my husband a complementary birthday profiterole with a candle. Be warned that it is a bit of a trek up many stairs to the toilets, passing busy staff taking food to and from the kitchen. Overall, with a few alterations this could be a really good afternoon tea.

I received impeccable service from the moment I entered the Ivy for breakfast today. The food was cooked to perfection and the presentation was excellent. Michael W was an outstanding member of staff as nothing was too much trouble!

We had my celebratory birthday lunch at The Ivy. It was a fantastic experience. Cocktails were superb and the food was beautifully prepared. My scallops starter and Rendang Duck curry were superb. A special thank you to Marek, our waiter. He was great fun and very attentive. He even shared a drop of his mum's Polish cherry vodka with us - a lovely gesture.

Visited the Ivy for afternoon tea recently and I would say it's quite average. The service is great, as is the decor and general atmosphere, but the food was disappointing unfortunately. I'm also surprised to see no halal items on the menu (fish and vegetarian dishes only) for afternoon tea. Other Ivy's I've visited offer more inclusive items. Scones were good and probably the best part of the meal.

Today we had an excellent experience each dish we tried was bursting with nice flavors ,and I must say that our waiter, Hussain really made this time visit memorable. From the moment we arrived, he greeted us with a warm smile and was incredibly attentive throughout the evening he was very knowledgeable about the menu, offering great recommendations and answering all of our questions about the dishes with enthusiasm. He made sure we were comfortable and ensured that all our needs were met without being intrusive. Definitely for the exceptional service provided by Hussain and the delicious food we will come back.

We love The Ivy! It's become a date night staple. We are a queer interracial BIPOC couple; I'm from The States and my partner is local. We always feel so welcome here and so well cared for. The drinks are always on point - beautiful and delicious. Ask the bartenders for recommendations! We are pescatarian, dairy -free and gluten-free. They work really hard to meet dietary needs with tasty substitutes. We have enjoyed the Afternoon Tea here a few times. Looking forward to sharing this place with out of town friends.

The service in the restaurant was appalling - our drinks order was taken and then our food. The food arrived before the drinks. Not all the drinks arrived and after asking for the third time the final drink arrived. When we then wanted to order more drinks the waiters appeared to be thin on the ground so we decided to leave. After 15 minutes we managed to get someone’s attention, the bill arrived and we paid. We then left the restaurant and seconds after leaving the restaurant collecting our coats from the cloakroom - we were chased across Pigeon Park and shouted at by a member of your team who told us we hadn’t paid the bill and we needed to return to the restaurant. I’ve never been so embarrassed - we were chased and shouted at in public and then accused of not paying our bill which was the case. What are you people doing - the Ivy is meant to present an experience - is this the experience you provide to loyal returning customers - shame on you.!!!!

An exceptional place to eat. Food was delicious and service was excellent.

Very disappointed with our meal today (3 pm booking) It has been a tradition for several year to go to the Ivy Birmingham at New Year’s Eve. However this year was very disappointing. One of the party’s order was messed up so arrived late, we had to ask for an ice bucket 3 times for the wine. The waiter who brought the wine was inexperienced and had difficulty opening the bottle and we had no wine glasses (he should have had more support from the experienced staff). Then before we left the table the staff started to set up for the 6.45 sitting…. When it was no where near that time or us exceeding our booking slot. Left us very disappointed when previously The Ivy restaurant group have always been our favourite but this experience was not at all what we would expect from the group or the Birmingham restaurant!!!

The food was lovely. Superb quality with excellent service. Our waiter Ucha was very attentive and provided some very good suggestions. Will definitely return.

Family meal on Boxing day evening. Love the ambience. The food might not be the most gourmet but it was fine with us. The staff were lovely - special mention must go to Ucha who looked after us so well.

Really disappointed with my meal at the ivy today. I’ve had many amazing meals here throughout the years but today the service was well below what you’d expect at any restaurant. Our waitress lacked any type off enthusiasm or personality and we didn’t get asked once how our food was and for that reason we decided to leave desert and get the bill after sitting with our empty plates until a manager realised. I will not be rushing back and would not recommend to friends and family anymore as the service was always something that stood out to me.

Nice, but nothing special and not worth the price - We got there for dinner at 7; where in both instances the drinks and the meals were missing something because they had run out of some of the ingredients which was a shame… the festive cocktails whilst looked fancy, were overpriced and a not balanced in flavour. When it came to the food; the cheese soufflé was very tasty, and the Squid was nice. We both had steak for main course which were a little more done than we’d asked for, the chips were very good whilst the spinach lacked flavour (and very small). Dessert was tasty, can’t go wrong with chocolate and ice cream, yet the presentation fell a little short with bits missing and no face (we put it back together for the photo). Service could have been a bit more attentive/ friendlier.

My friend ordered the vegetarian curry and was served duck curry. When the bill came she questioned what she had eaten and the waitress confirmed she had given her duck curry, Very clearly pointed to the vegetarian option on the menu however the waitress said that the duck curry used to be there on the menu! So clearly was not listening to her. She is a vegetarian and des not eat meat nor has eaten meat for 15 years bar this mistake. Really disappointing for this to happen, regardless of anyone’s personal reasons for being vegetarian it could be allergies and also religion. We left with my friend extremely upset about this situation and crying in the restaurant. It’s really important to highlight and repeat the order like most restaurants do because mistakes like this should not happen especially at such a reputable brand restaurant. We also ordered 4x tea which was accepted by the waitress. Later another waitress came over and told us we couldn’t have the tea if we were going to take longer than 10 minutes to drink it. Felt rushed and we had been late to sit at our table anyway based on another delay but they didn’t consider that for our table.

A very disappointing annual lunchtime Christmas treat for my family. So the meal was lovely, beautifully presented and full of flavour. Surroundings are always splendid. However, although the ladies on the desk where kind and pleasant they where disorganised. They couldn't find out coats and was required to describe them. I paid for a bottle of prosecco and had to constantly ask for a refill. Leave the bottle if you can't provide the service. I paid cash and no change was given!! A bit of a cheek considering poor service! Crackers which are normally on the table where given right at the end. So a bit pointless. Nobody asked if we was ok or if our food was good or if we wanted any more drinks. As a result I felt robbed that I paid £35 in service charges and got no change! Just not good enough ivy.

In the last few weeks we have been to the Ivy twice and had a five star experience and a one star experience, so we've averaged it out at three stars. The first visit was just excellent the food, wine, drinks (before and after) and the service were all absolutely top class. So much so that we persuaded a couple of friends to cancel a restaurant booking that they'd made at a different restaurant so we could go back to the Ivy. Turns out this was a mistake. The service the second time around was just unbelievably bad. The server tried to take our order literally the minute we sat down, when we said we needed some time she just disappeared and we had to find her to take our order. On the original visit the server seemed happy to see us and we really felt welcome, on the second visit I kind of got the impression we were spoiling the servers evening. However worse, far worse, was to follow with the "wine waiter" I've worked in and visited in over 30 countries but I can honestly say I have never met some one so badly disposed towards customer service as this guy. Apart from not knowing what he was doing everything was a cause for annoyance. He actually swore when we asked him to move the ice bucket with the wine to our table so we could pour our own wine. We would normally have had two bottles of wine but he was more than we could endure so we only had one. Same guy brought back the decaf and normal coffee not knowing which was which. A big kudos is that we did ask to see the manager who took 25% off the bill. To be honest I'd much rather have had the same service as we had the first time and paid the full amount, but we did appreciate the gesture. My advice to the Ivy would be employ people, who like people, and who are going to smile and welcome customers into your restaurant and then make sure they are trained properly. The Ivy has done the hard bit creating a beautiful restaurant, great menu and food, it's such a shame that a lack of care on staff recruitment and training lets it down.

Lovely venue and well decorated for Christmas. The festive afternoon tea was sadly a real let down. Such poor value for money and really nothing special in terms of quality. The service was disjointed and not what was expected by the brands reputation. I won’t rush to return.

I booked a standard 3 course lunch for 35 per head . When we got there there was only the festive lunch available at 60 per head . We stayed as it would be difficult to go anywhere else . The wine was expensive which I don’t mind but the quality was so poor and also warm . The table was a nice table but the noise made it difficult to speak . The food was ok. But the service intermittent . The cloakroom only takes coats not scarves . The waitress showed us to our table and did not carry our drinks which I would have expected for a supposedly high end restaurant . The service generally was poor .The cost was horrendous for what we had at a cost of 80 each for a very mediocre lunch . As we walked out another couple were complaining about the quality and cost so we were not alone . They are trading on the name and not living up to the reputation of the original ivy in London (I have been to both)

Nice, but having ventured to other Ivy venues this one doesn't quite have the same wow factor. Staff were pleasant enough, but gave off the "I'd rather be somewhere else" vibe. Cocktails were passable, but certainly not the best I've experienced. Which kind of ties to the last point I guess. And as a former bar manager - The brass lamps on the bar are absolutely minging, they're in deaperate need of polish.

We ate at the Ivy for my partners birthday. We weren’t impressed at all. The service was incredibly slow. We ordered drinks on arrival and they took forty minutes to arrive - our starters arrived quicker. We ordered a side with our main and it didn’t appear. We asked someone and ten minutes later it appeared. No apology, nothing. The food was nice but we probably expected better considering the price and experience you’d expect at an Ivy.

We had our wedding anniversary at this elegant restaurant. Paula Lopez had recommended great dishes to us, she made our night a memorable one. Definitely will return again

Dissapointing and far from the usual experience. Our booking note read.... "It is our twin sons' 18th Birthday. Is there anything that can be done to make it extra special?" We received only the automated email reply. After several attempts at calling I eventually got through and was told "we only offer the birthday guests a free desert", which is ok so no issue. Upon arrival, our party of 7 entered the restaurant and the waiter seating us pushed 4 two seater tables together on the back wall next to the serving station. So clearly no thought to assign or have a table ready on time for this special occasion. We sat as a 3 opposite 3 with my wife as the spare penny on the end next to the serving station - and not wanting to spoil the experience, she refused to swap with me and stayed put. We then had a server swap after about 15mins so I sat waiting for a water glass for 10 mins until I asked the new server. The young lady now serving us was very nice, but perhaps a little under pressure and told us there was no Sirloin, this at 6pm on a Sunday. We asked her to check and she came back and told us it wasn't available on the festive menu, but was on the Specials. Both menus had exactly the same Sirloin wording. The mains were very good as usual. The boys both made their desert choices only to be told "you can only have a complimentary profiterol not anything else on the menu". Ok for me as one son is not keen on chocolate or cream, so that was shared with the table. So overall, the sum of the small parts makes for a bigger nok than we had hoped for. Perhaps our expectations were too high but for a regular night out they seem to get it right. Not a cheap night out with service charge added as default. Did not raise any issues on the night to not spoil it for our family.

Great food and service on the most part, only let down by the bar. We came to order post dinner cocktails and the barman / barwoman couldn't / refused to muster up the slightest variation on an off menu cocktail. Whisky sour, tick . . . amaretto sour, tick . . . Gin sour, tick . . . rum sour, no not possible. I am well aware of what goes into making this cocktail, changing the main spirit is really quite simple. Any other cocktail bar worth its salt can rustle up any kind of cocktail. The Birmingham branch of the Ivy is riding on the coat tails of the original Ivy in London, there is no comparison!

Poor show at the Birmingham restaurant. As I sat down to order a drink before our table, the young lady on the front desk aggressively asked me if I had a booking. I replied yes & gave her my name and reservation time. She told me to get out of my seat and make my way back to the desk. I asked her if she was serious and she told me it was protocol and I had to immediately move. I walked the 3 metres, repeated my name and time and was then allowed to go back to my seat where I’d ordered my drink. If it hadn’t of been my mother’s birthday meal I would have left there and then. Ben ( management) kindly gave me my drink on the house but I won’t be returning anytime soon. It doesn’t take much for a warm welcome and given the young lady wasn’t on the desk as I walked in I feel I was embarrassed for no reason whatsoever. One birthday meal ruined

Was very noisy. Service was not as good as expected. When we said we didn't like the chips, was told they'd speak to the chef. But no feed back. Won't go back. Prefer the Covent Garden one in London

Gorgeous bar area and decorated restaurant. Food was poor. Eggs and avocado sent back due to eggs being runny but stone cold. Second time very similar but wasn’t willing to send back again as wife has already eaten her brunch. Muffins were thick and gooey and barely toasted. Really disappointing. Staff super attentive but chef let you down yesterday.

Can't fault anything about our birthday treat. Even given a cake and candle. The food is superb. The service was exceptional. Highly recommend

Booked The Ivy for a post theatre meal. Greeted at the door, lovely ambience and decorated for Christmas. We both ordered the blackened cod with fennel/yuzu, which was very tasty. Decided to share the 'ivy snowman' pud which was a shame to eat! Waiting staff, funny and attentive, even photo bombed my photo. My first time in an Ivy restaurant and very enjoyable.

Had brunch today, using a voucher we had for our birthdays. Delicious eggs royale (perfect poached eggs which oozed deep orange when cut), chips with Parmesan and truffle (we upgraded them) and a glass of champagne each. The lovely Ucha, our waiter was very friendly, attentive and when he found what the voucher was for, brought out a birthday treat, a chocolate choux bun, thank you!! Really lovely visit, we will return - very soon!!

Extremely overrated, in my opinion.

Went there for the first time with a friend for an impromptu dinner. We tried the 3 Course Festive Menu and thoroughly enjoyed everything, the dishes were delicious and perfect for the Christmas season. We especially loved the cocktails and the Ivy Snowman dessert! Super recommend! The service was a 10/10 from all the servers however the star of our night was our waiter Ucha! He catered to all of our requests to halve our dishes and answered all our questions! He even brought the Ivy Snowman statue to our table for us to take photos of with the dessert! He made us both laugh and I’m really looking forward to go back again soon! Thank you Ucha!

A lovely place and a nice team, but this was an off day. We visited for a meal before heading to a show. It was evident that the staff were under pressure quite quickly. We had long waits as the team in were buzzing around, but despite their best efforts, the level of demand was just too much for the number of people present. This is poor management and put their team under undue pressure. The food was good, but such was the delay. We didn't go much further than the mains. On another night, I imagine everything is a little better.

Terrible Sunday lunch Yorkshire puddings were Aunt Bessie’s food was only warm worst Sunday lunch ever . Went to the Forest in Solihull and it was an amazing Sunday lunch the Ivy doesnt compare. . So disappointed.

Have visited several times in past and left positive reviews however on this occasion the standards were so poor I felt I must comment. Met some friends here prior to a show in city centre so wanted to pick somewhere nice. On this occasion starters were sent out stone cold and replaced with ones tepid at best. Steaks were completely tasteless. When we sent the starter back our waitress was completely emotionless and communicated in grunts as opposed to discussing issues with us we decided when the tasteless steaks arrived it wasn't worth the hassle. Table was not kept on top of to the extent where we were putting empty cups on the floor under our table. All in all a very very disappointing experience and despite it being very good in past I don't intend to recommend or return. At £300 you expect something a cut above the rest, The Ivy have sorely missed the mark.

Always a pleasurable occasion Can be a little expensive

Have visited on two occasions on the past month and can say that although the atmosphere and service are quite good, the food is really lacking especially for the prices they charge. The last visit was for the mother in law. When we arrived the road was closed due to remembrance day parade so there was no direct access by car, although this wasn't the restaurants fault, maybe a notification would have been helpful as we were taking an 84 year old woman who had had double knee replacements and difficulty walking. When we entered, two hosteses greeted us and we were told our table wasn't ready and to wait at the bar, I explained that my mother in law would need a chair, the hostess stared blankly at me, I explained the situation again and that she wouldn't be able to use a bar stool or stand, finally the other hostess said there way seating by the window but there were people sitting there. The other guests didn't mind sharing when we asked but a little more understanding and aid from the 'welcoming ' staff would have helped. We were seated at our table on time, given our menus and asked if we wanted water by a waiter that didn't return again. Another waiter took our orders. One of the starters arrived, the other didn't until we finally caught the waiters attention and asked him. From the take being ''half' cleared, there was a wait of about 40mims until the main course arrived but it was quite busy so understandable. The food, very overated and expensive for the poor standard. The zucchini strops, although a novelty are deep fried and leave the mouth with a greasy film coating. The olives when they did appear, were 5 olives tiny bowl and grated lemon. The ivy famous shepherd's pie was ok so the mother in law said. The Sunday roast dinners, well, any carvery would serve better. Although the slices of meat (chicken and beef) were cooked well and were tasty, the rest of it was sadly lacking. I was absolutely shocked to find frozen bag roast potatoes on our plates as well as frozen Yorkshire puddings. The veg was late coming and wasn't hot and we suspected was also from a frozen bag, and the gave, watery with quite a lot of grease. The desert was ice cream so you can't really go wrong with that. We finally got water with our main, after asking for it again but the whole experience was less than average. I'm quite disappointed that a restaurant of this so called calibre serves pre cooked frozen food and charges what a high end restaurant would for freshly prepared and cooked food. I mean you can buy pre peeled potatoes in, it's not that difficult. But to charge for a freshly cooked Sunday roast dinner and served frozen food is really not acceptable. Tutti Tutti Ivy, you've really let your standars drop, we won't be returning and had it not been a request to go there after my first visit I would not have returned a second time. Lesson learned.

A wonderful experience with great service and fabulous food, beautifully presented. Our specific reqyests for our celebration were not only met but exceeded. Thank you.

Such a disappointing evening. We had high hopes for this place and it really didn’t deliver. We ordered two ribeye steaks and both were burnt and were very bitter. We told the waiter and he agreed and the manager agreed to take one of them off the bill. The price of our bill was no where near justified with the experience we had. Very very disappointed with this restaurant but the server Jacper was a very nice chap who was very attentive

Stunning atmosphere and absolutely top service. The quality of the food is as high as any fine dining can get. Worth for any special events or simply just for a lovely night at with your loved ones.

Food was nice enough. Too loud for me. Full of people shouting at each other.

Beautiful! Visit the restaurant and look at its formidable design. The food is very tasty, and they have combos and brunch options available. Remember to book in advance, because it is full quite often.

Our server Asia Niazi was very kind and attentive (especially because it was a member of our party's birthday) - the food was great and the atmosphere of the restaurant itself is always good :)

Had a fantastic time celebrating birthdays

I went to The Ivy for the afternoon tea experience. It is a really nice place and the service is excellent. I would recommend doing the afternoon tea experience. Maybe a bit pricey but overall pleased.

Popped in for lunch and it was really busy. We sat upstairs and it was very nosy. Downstairs is much quieter. Food was good, we only had main courses but selection and presentation was great. They brought the wrong order out for one of our guests but were so apologetic. Service was excellent. Price was good for what we had and enjoyed the experience. Would ask to sit downstairs next time if one of our guests had a problem hearing as the noise upstairs was droning making conversation difficult. Overall a good experience.

Unfortunately not the best visit, Steak was ordered medium rare, came almost blue for both of us. Drinks, deserts and drinks were great but the mains let us down. We have came here 3 times and unfortunately 2 experiences were not the best.

Excellent food, jungle themed restaurant in a handy spot a short walk from New Street Station. Consistent standard of food after sampling over several visits, the restaurant also has daily and themed menus to suit different budgets.

Very busy, but we had a nice time.

Wonderful experience - we had booked the private room for an work event and our host Siyvia Haynes was fantastic! The service was impeccable she deserves a big thank you. Food was delightful, and and everything from start to finish was perfect.
