The best restaurants serving Other european-cuisines food in Birmingham West Midlands

I’ve ordered 2 soups, one of them was wrong one, 4 meatballs which I didn’t get, had to call them back for a few times for it and I had to wait another 40 mins to get them, the fries on the site was included but on the phone they said it’s not and I have to order them separately , I paid by card online then they cancelled the order, but they have taken the money, and then said I have to pay another £42 at the driver and for the first money that I paid I’ll get a refund. That’s how you lose your customers

Went here for breakfast with my three kids. Food was good and the staff were friendly. Didn't have to wait long for food to arrive and the seating area was clean and pleasant. Will definitely use again. Only down side is it is very busy with school kids at lunch time. But all in all nice wee place.

We were really impressed by the professionalism and efficiency of the events team at Malmaison, Birmingham. Our lunch in a private room ran smoothly despite all our last minute changes, and the the team remained unflappable throughout - nothing was too much trouble. Added to which lunch itself was delicious. Thank you Sarah and team.

We had an amazing meal at Zen last night. The food was incredible, probably the best Thai Green Curry I’ve ever had. Everything tasted unreal and I’d happily eat it all over again. We were only in Birmingham for the evening and we’d recommend it to anyone!

Super easy to order through the app and the service was excellent. Not everything on the menu was available and vegetarian stuff we ordered didn't quite hit the mark. Chicken was excellent though.

I recently had dinner at Recess before a concert and I have to say that's been fantastic. From great food, cozy atmosphere but most importantly super friendly and attentive staff. Location is great because it's not in the middle of chaos like other restaurants nearby but still really close to canal. I really recommend it!

Horrible service. Came in to eat with my wife. Stood in-front of the please wait sign. Waited for someone to come serve us a table. There were plenty of spaces as there were only 5 tables that were full. 20 mins later a lady approaches us and asks if we’ve put our names down we said no. She then said she will come back to us. She didn't. Another 20 mins later she ignores us completely and serves the remaining people waiting in line behind us that were also walk ins too. Service is absolutely poor. New Staff needed.
