We had an amazing meal at Zen last night. The food was incredible, probably the best Thai Green Curry I’ve ever had. Everything tasted unreal and I’d happily eat it all over again. We were only in Birmingham for the evening and we’d recommend it to anyone!

First time visiting - Great food, great service, great cocktails, great ambience - would most definitely recommend 🌸

I've been wanting to try Zen Metro for a long time and we had a really enjoyable meal. All the food was lovely and the portion sizes were huge! You will not leave here hungry that's for sure! I had the vegetable spring rolls for starters which were crisp and fresh and curry for main which was delicious with a bit of a spice kick. I found myself full but couldn't resist finishing the whole plate. The staff are very polite and helpful I would definitely go back.

I don't normally post reviews but felt i needed to. We were taking a family city break in Birmingham and our meal at Zen Metro was one of the highlights. The thai food (red curry, massaman curry) was fresh & fragrant - even our little boy who is normally very fussy loved his dinner (kids menu offers 3 courses for 10.99 with very good portions and an unreal vanilla ice cream!) Our waiter Jay was attentive and helped us with cocktail choice and put a smile on our boys face. Good music playing but not too loud, and a really good atmosphere and classy interior design (mirrors are super cool!) Highly recommend to anyone who enjoys comfort, class and good food.

Celebrated a birthday meal here on a Saturday night. It was our first time visiting and we were not disappointed. The food and service was exceptional! Our waitress Nilakshi was very attentive and informative. The food was very reasonably priced. We will 100% visit again!

Fardow was super sweet and made sure my girlfriend had an amazing day! She also recommended the chicken green curry which was lovely!

Firstly I was greeted by the absolutely amazing Fardow(sa)! As soon as we walked in we were greeted by the manager I assume however Fardow was smiling at us from the second we walked in! Walking through the restaurant the overall ambience was unreal - the decor was BEAUTIFUL! We were sat down and immediately served! Cocktails were lovely - pineapple mojito and island blush (recommended by Fardow were amazing! We had the shared non-veg starter platter - every part of this was super tasty! The mains were lovely and I am super happy I went with the jasmin rice as a side recommended by Fardow! I was also brought a cheesecake for my birthday which was super cute - the whole experience was amazing! I did not have anything that was not 10/10! The service topped it up! Fardow is an amazing waitress!!!!!!!

Brothers surprised me with a birthday meal at Zen Metro, the place was an aesthetic marvel, the food was fantastic and filling (from the lobster to the jasmine rice to the prawn crackers to the grilled vegetables) and the staff were also very kind and helpful. The food was incredible - to start we had a sharing platter with mussels, prawns, chicken and duck which was pretty perfect. My partner has the sea treasure for his main and he couldn’t of been happier. Staff were lovely and attentive, and the decor is amazing.

Visited here after looking into alot of Thai restaurants with the family this clearly was the best one ever. The food was the best Thai food I had ever tasted and the service was 100%. We will definitely visit here everytime for a meal without a doubt 5 star everytime.

El mejor restaurante tailandés en el que he estado. El ambiente era asombroso. Fui aquí por mi 25 cumpleaños. Normalmente tengo miedo de ir a restaurantes tailandeses, ya que no son lo suficientemente auténticos. Este lugar fue perfecto. La comida era de alta calidad, me encantó. El servicio de mesa fue excelente. Nos dejaron esperando un rato a la entrada pero eso se perdonó cuando probé su comida. Reservamos Zen Metro para celebrar tres cumpleaños inminentes que tienen lugar la primera semana de septiembre. Nos hicieron sentir bienvenidos. Anoche fue mi primer viaje a Zen Metro y no será el último. Desde el momento en que llegamos, nos hicieron sentir muy bienvenidos y fue genial ver que el restaurante había hecho grandes esfuerzos para ser Covid - seguro.La comida era deliciosa y muy bien presentada. El servicio de bebidas de acompañamiento también estuvo bien presentado y se sirvió de manera oportuna.Todo el personal fue profesional, amable e hizo un gran trabajo. Era evidente que todos los demás comensales estaban pasando una velada muy agradable.En general, fue una gran experiencia y, sin duda, volveré!

Fui con amigos y pedí la lubina que estaba bañada en verduras y salsa. Esto provocó que el pescado en sí se empapara mucho hasta el punto de que la comida se parecía a un guiso. Me ofrecieron una comida de reemplazo y elegí un plato de cordero.Mis amigos habían terminado su comida cuando llegó mi comida de reemplazo. La mesera procedió a limpiar la mesa mientras yo todavía estaba comiendo.Para mí, esto es un no absoluto, ya que todos los comensales deberían haber terminado de comer antes de que se despeje la mesa.En general, una experiencia decepcionante.

Our first meal out since lockdown and honestly we couldn’t fault it. We have never ever had a bad experience and I do not think we will! The food is always outstanding. (Tempura prawns to start, Thai yellow curry and Jasmine rice) Usually we’ve visited places a few times and we’ve not enjoyed every dish however, Zen Metro is another league! Every penny spent is worth it.The staff are always so friendly and Jai is a very kind man. Even had a birthday cake for me which really was a lovely touch. They care about you which is not something you get a lot from restaurants. They follow the COVID guidelines well. If I could give the restaurant a higher rating, I defiantly would!I’m a very fussy eater so for me to say something like this, enjoy and finish my meal - all I can say is thank you, I appreciate the food and the service you offer.
