Nandos is the best place ever ❤️ 💕

Yesterday had a salad and leaves at bottom were still frozen . Last time there was barely any sauce driest salad ever.

The loaded fries were not nice at all. Big mistake. Also, when we went in, the manager told us that there was a wait of 45 minutes in a half full restaurant because Deliveroo was really busy. I thought as a restaurant the priority should be walk in, maybe I'm wrong? A lot of people were sent home at peak hours on a Friday night. Instead, the priority is to pay Deliveroo a big percentage. Bad management, in my opinion. Also, for gluten free, they don't replace the bun by at least some lettuce or salad or something. Getting tight, or is this a management decision too. Anyway, with competition out there, that tastes better and costs almost half of as much, I'll carry on there. All Nandos, take a leaf out of Shirley branch. The best service by far.

Dan and Corey were amazing, so helpful and friendly, and nothing too much trouble. The food was excellent as always, never a complaint. The staff are so lovely helpful and genuinely helpful and friendly 😊

Seated quickly with no fuss. Food was served quickly and was fresh to order. The lovely lady serving us even bought over some Cucumber and Tomato's for my little girl to save us paying for a salad she wouldn't eat half of. The manager had to move us from the window due to a party coming in but upgraded us to the sofa booth (much preferred) and gave us free ice cream for the 'inconvenience'. Super attentive staff, nice and clean in there too.

Staff go the extra mile to look after you

Regularly visit Nandos, mostly the Selly oak eatery, however yesterday the experience was exceptionally below standard. Ordered a large platter to share, half medium half lemon and herb. 15mins wait, Food arrived, dumped on the table and the staff member just walked off which was pretty rude. The chicken was not labelled so after raising this with staff it was taken away, watching from our seat we saw them reglazing the chicken and resent it out so now it was like Russian roulette. Chicken by now was cold and the fact they just layered it with more sauce was pretty poor. A member of staff then offered to replace the whole order, provided a bowl of complimentary chips, finally the correct food order arrived and they took away the complimentary chips...... Just killed off the whole experience totally although the manager tried to resolve the issue, service was extremely sloppy and the food quality was not as it normally is. I've got enough loyalty points for a whole chicken but this experience totally threw me and put me right off returning to Nandos. Nandos are definitely letting the quality slip.......

Great food as you'd anyways expect at a Nando's. Often busy and have had to wait up to 30 mins to be let in during regular meal times. Service good, nothing over the top but polite and will bring what you order to your table. Nothing against the atmosphere, usually clean and orderly unless overly busy then it takes time to clean and clear the tables.

It was my husband's birthday, and we decided to come for a family meal, myself,our youngest daughter birthday boy (although he definitely passed the boy stage) 😄 anyway I digress. So I had not long had a Nando's while shopping with my other daughter in Wolverhampton and I really enjoyed my meal there but I couldn't remember which bread I had chosen. We ordered but I was still not quite happy so when the manager comes over and asks if everything was ok with our meal, my daughter puts her hand over her head in shame because she knew that I was going to tell my story but if I never explained then I wouldn't have been given such exceptional service that I appreciate and feel like every customer is important. The manager listened to my tale, went and got a selection of the types of bread, realised that it was my hubby's birthday, and gave him a pint and me another meal and oh, did it taste amazing 😊. There are many morals to this story, but we give 10/10 customer service 👏.

Today, after finishing up some last-minute Christmas shopping, we decided to grab a bite at Nando's. We were warmly greeted as soon as we walked in. Ruby provided us with absolutely fantastic customer service – honestly, some of the best we've ever experienced! She was incredibly polite and respectful throughout our visit. We wanted to express our sincere thanks and hope that her outstanding service doesn't go unnoticed.

The atmosphere is soft, the service is friendly and the burgers and meals are delicious. It is worth recommending for a dinner.

Food was decent, slightly overhyped and overpriced

I went on the 28th of November, a normal Thursday evening I . We got seated straight away. I opened my phone tried to order and then turned out that there was no signal I asked my friend to go on their phone turned out it wasn't only me that had no signal , so I asked if they have internet here they said I don't know (they were not very helpful). I went to the till and ordered a family platter and some broccoli. they asked if it would be ok with me to wait 20 minutes , I said ok. There were also like 5 workers standing (not doing anything chatting and having a laugh) by the service bar. The wait turned into a 40 minute wait ,then the food finally came! Also, during the wait I noticed some people came after us and got served before us. I don't recommend this Nando's the one next to five ways roundabout is much better and never lets me down. The service was poor and I'm not coming back to this Nando's.

Standard nandos, everything cooked well. Gotten quite expensive - large portion of spicy rice is definitely not large enough for that price. Luckily, the manager was very nice and looked after us.

Chicken Livers and Coleslaw were lovely but the chips were cold because they waited too long on the kitchen counter before serving.

I order delivery. My food was missing. When I called the store, the manager Niko was extremely rude, I can’t even put it into words regarding the customer service I received from him. I don't understand how he's the manager but talks to the customers with utter disrespect when they don't double-check the order before sending it off.

might be one of my favourite nandos branches, im fussy so i just ask for how i want everything to be cooked and its always perfect for me, will always come to this one before any other and the cocktails are 10/10 and refreshing.

Really disappointing experience this weekend when visiting with family. When we arrived, we were told there would be a 10-15 minute wait which wasn’t an issue. There were 3 additional people in front of us who were told the same. Looking around there were several tables that needed clearing, which I wouldn’t have thought much of had there not of been 3 senior members of staff standing chatting by the tills. When we were seated the table had been cleared, but not wiped. We were not given a menu, and a check back stick was not placed in the holder on our table, therefore no check was completed. Our mobile connection wasn’t very good so we were unable to order using the QR code, instead had to queue up to place our order. There was only one till open, and there were about 8 people in the queue. We queued for in excess of 30 minutes and although the member of staff apologised it was still incredibly frustrating. We then had to ask where our food was after 35 minutes of waiting.. it had accidentally been cleared on the runners screen and we would have been left with no food had we not have asked where it was. Won’t be returning after my experience this weekend.

Been here a few times and the staff are always friendly and welcoming. It's clean and tidy (including the toilets) and has a nice vibe. The food is great and served relatively quickly and there are plenty of bottles of the famous peri-peri sauce on hand. It can get busy at the weekend so you may want to book a table ahead of time. Plenty of parking outside.

Poor service waiting for meals to come over for almost 1hr even then they missed out 1 of the meals so we didn't get to eat together as a family. Chicken was pink in some parts. ------ Thank you for your reply but taking it up with the team is not enough for us. I would like to know how your going to stop this from happening again and to other familys who rely on a hastle free meal after a long day at work or even for a special occasion. This is not the first time this has happened and feel very confident will continue.

Very slow service. Nearly every dish from our order was wrong, staff weren’t friendly or apologetic. WiFi didn’t work and therefore nor did the mobile app ordering so everyone had to go to the till which was very busy. No one came to check how our meal was. Wouldn’t recommend.

Tried to eat here at 11.40am on Friday 13th as group of 6, but told could not serve us as staff hadn’t turned up. Shame as should open at 11.30am, so went elsewhere

Food was nice until it woke me up later in the night Waitress was miserable , threw our food at us , and didn't even say enjoy before leaving Greeter at the front door was nice though and made us feel welcome

Food has gone downhill alot. No butterfly chicken, no hallumi sticks. Wasn't a portuguese roll. Garlic bread very soggy not cooked enough . Had medium chicken wings they were tasteless . Good job they have bottles of sauces. Only thing we fully enjoyed was the hummus with peri peri Drizzle and the nandos salt was quiet nice. Oh and of course the Portuguese beer which my husband loved. Has put us off going to a nandos again.

The restaurant is welcoming and clean. The staff are polite and pleasant and very helpful when it comes to recommendations. I had a lovely experience and is certainly one of their nicer Nandos restaurants.

Never been to a Nando’s before. The food was quite nice, I can’t remember what it was called, it was basically chicken in a wrap, but the aircon was on high making the whole restaurant quite chilly. The staff were pleasant enough and we didn’t have to wait too long for our food - I find it odd they don’t do coffee or green tea. I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here but as Sainsbury’s food court was so grim this was a much better option.

Went there yesterday Saturday the 3rd of August. Walk in no1 at the door so go in 2 get told 2 wait at the door 4 some1 2 seat us . There 3 staff stand just by the till chatting away having a laugh between them self's. 1 comes over quite rude 2 be fair takes us 2 a table no smile or nothing like that . Food was not the best 2 be fair . So all round a piss poor experience. Used this place a good few times over the last few years . Never had a problem be4 . Over all yesterday it was piss poor . The staff not good at all food piss poor . Will not be rushing back any time soon . New staff need or some training in a big way . I would give it 1 out of 10 at the best

I came back a year after my last review and I've given you guys all 5 stars back, it was spot on again, great staff and very helpful, meal was served quickly and it was great quality, everyone enjoyed the experience and happy to be coming back again

Ordered a team lunch to the value of £95 and half the order didn't turn up - I spoke to customer services who said all they could do was refund and not arrange the items for redelivery or even collection. Really poor customer service. Won't be using again.

Nando's has a nice ambience. The food we ordered was tasty. Few pure vegetarian choices though. I would say it's a lovely place to dine in with family.

They changed the garlic bread from Portuguese rolls to burger buns and now it's soft, round and flabby. It's just terrible, not sure why they changed it in the first place. Won't be coming back until they change it back to Portuguese rolls.

No hay reconocimiento cuando entramos. Una camarera muy distante acaba de mirarnos sin intención de despejar una mesa que no estaba ocupada. No cogí su nombre, pero es odiosa y no tiene habilidades de personas. La he encontrado antes pero la última vez no volvimos pero solo nos quedamos esta vez ya que era la calle 21 de mi hijo y él quería venir aquí. No volveré a Nando’s de nuevo. Redditch es mucho mejor. La comida era promedio.

I visited this restaurant today. I was greeted by Nicholas on the till, very attentive and friendly, and he made some recommendations from the new vegetarian options, I tried the Halloumi burger, and my partner had the mushroom wrap, they were both great. Once again, thank you, Nicholas, for delivering excellent service and being patient with us. Someone give this guy a promotion.

What’s happened to Nando’s. You still pay champagne prices with the quality of a cheap wine. The chicken looked like it never saw the inside of an oven, the coleslaw was missing the slaw, by that I mean it had no sauce, instead it came with bird seeds, so I’m eating dry cabbage with seeds, and I counted all Of 10 chips in the box. It looked like they scrapped together someone’s left over chips and then delivered it to me. So poor, do better

I dined here at approximately 18:26 on Sunday, 26 May 2024. The place was busy but the staff were well prepared which was pleasing to see. Hence, the line moved fast. I ordered food- of which arrived rather quickly too. A pleasant surprise. My only concern is the “Lemonade” I ordered which wasn’t exactly what I was expecting. Whilst it did have a very rich and aromatic air about it, it wasn’t what I wanted, as I personally steer away from drinks with pulp and this drink was full of it! Of course, it was lemon, however, it wasn’t “sprite” lemonade. More like “lemon juice and sugar.” I really do believe that being more specific will be most beneficial to your future customers. All in all, well done! I will certainly dine here again.

Great place to go for a meal. Every time I have visited at peak dinner time I have had to wait for a table (normally around 30 minutes) but they have a good system in place for making sure that you can keep your place in line while going to do some shopping in the nearby stores! The food is always delicious and the decor of the restaurant is really unique.

It's a Nando's. What do you expect? It does have oil drums hanging from the ceiling though, which is nice. The chicken was cooked and the drink refills were cold. Good job.

I'm am overwhelmed at the help I was given in Nandos Selly oak by the manager Shauna. It was my son's birthday and I don't really have lots of money spare. Just to say the lady and the staff are fabulous and really need to know it. I can't thank her enough for such an overwhelming gesture. Definitely go there again. We popped in here last Saturday evening as we were passing and needed food. It was busy and there was a wait for a table but we were seated much quicker than expected. The food was nice and fresh and the service was quick. I have to pay credit to each member of staff here, everyone we encountered was so friendly, polite and efficient. The staff were attentive, observant and professional, I’ll most certainly be returning and recommending this place, the staff here are a credit to the brand.

Bought a jam doughnut app and was so easy to Use to pay for my late lunch. I love the bbq chicken thighs with broccoli (which I could have recipe for the dressing on it!) max and cheese yummy.

The food at this particular Nando's is always fantastic. Very busy mostly though. Halloumi is absolutely fantastic and the chicken is always juicy and on point. The staff are delightful and try to help you as much as they can. I cannot stop eating here.

Standout service from TOM. Tom is the loveliest, nicest, most considerate and best looking waiter a customer could ever ask for. He made sure to check up on us multiple multiple times during our meal and was very funny and made us smile during our meal and made it the best Nandos experience we’ve ever had! Never understood the hype behind Nando's. Wherever I see one it is always full and there are people waiting in line to get some okay chicken. I think their portion sizes are a joke. For £15 I expect to get a bigger burger and sides. I tried their new special Churrasco Burger which tasted like any other burger they have on their menu. The only good part about their food is their branded sauces and unlimited drinks. There are many better restaurants out there than Nando's to spend your hard earned money. The only reason i gave it 3 stars is the fact that my girlfriend paid for the dinner with her coupons for Nando's although not sure if she is gonna do it next time after hearing me rant about how bad the food Was.

This branch always seems to be busy, and can be a bit messy, but just wanted to big up one of the staff members. I don't know his name (I last popped in during the day on Feb 17th and he was working then), but he usually greets the customers, and he's helpful and funny and friendly and just deserves a mention for his stand-out customer skills, which is rare to find these days. Many thanks!

Very good food, good experience overall, except the staff telling us there were no beanies available, after we’d already ordered, so we asked what else was available, they didn’t know.. so went away to find out, then as we were about to re-order something else another staff member then told us beanies were available after all. Annoying but not the end of the world as the food was very good!

Been here a few times but on our most recent visit there were a lot of items unavailable on the menu. Rather strange for a Monday evening! Other than that, food was good.

Always a long wait as priority is given to online orders. Approx 15 people waiting and have been told even if we are seated it will be a 30min wait until out order is taken. Disgusting.

Even though it was busy our food came out before the recommended time and was absolutely perfect! Being from the hospitality trade the way this restaurant staff has it on lock was amazing! Everything is great except service... Serving a coffee without sugar (which I asked for 3 sugar) and we have to mix the coffee with a soup spoon 🥄... 😟 Staff working in the grill showing his pants 🤢🤮... Not a good view for a restaurant to be honest... I know is busy buy every time I go there my order never come completed I have to ask for my food.... Just a tip.... Give a bit more attention on costumers on the table if they need to buy only 1 thing (buy cash) no need to go in the queue... Tables will be free more quickly and save big queues 😉 Please Nandos, pay a bit more attention on this things 😉...

I love Nando’s but for some reason this franchise is not the best. The staff are really nice and attentive but for some reason, I never get my meal. Table of four every time and I end up not receiving my order or on this occasion, I got it the last one while everyone was finishing up. Don’t know if it’s a curse or something lol but will definitely go back as it’s 5 mins away and I love the food. Bought the frozen yogurt but the machine didn’t work.. I guess McDonald’s jinxed them 🥲😂. Everything else was really nice. Place was clean. Both staff who helped us were very helpful, a brunet and the welcoming staff who was blonde. I wish I was good with names. I was wishing to try the Mac and cheese and the veggie patty but both out of stock 🤷🏻‍♀️ maybe next time

Very nice service by the staff in a good location. The place has a great indoor space and it's very clean. Food is also good with a good price, worth the size of the meal. Some more options on the menu would be great though, but all in all is a nice restaurant.

This review is better late than never. Whoever was on the door during "Covid" decided that they could discriminate based on the fact that me and my friend who both have none obvious disabilities. Could not enter without a mask. We showed him that we had badges to indicate we were unable to wear masks. The irony is when inside masks are removed to eat!! The disabilty pass had previously been shown on request to 2 police officers in. Tesco and they honoured it immediately by thanking me and walking away swiftly. Yet a mere manager at a food shop decided he had the right to not honour a legally and legitimate safe guarding measure. It is breaking the law and this poor regard for people and the law infringed my human rights on so many levels. It's appauling and you should be ashamed. You completely with full knowledge of what you were doing in full view of others caused, harassment, alarm and distress and enjoyed doing it.

My wings were sent out white and under cooked. I sent them back to be cooked more. My partner finished his food before mine had been sent out. I am very upset with this service and wouldn’t recommend visiting.

Ordered food at 7.30 and expected at 8.25. Said it was delivered and never received it. Contacted the store first chap hung up Second Lady said that the number was wrong so he didn’t deliver. Informed her that I received a confirmation text so how could the number be wrong and he didn’t even ring the doorbell. Then said I would need to escalate it. Do not recommend these guys service appalling even though they admitted not delivering food. Disgusted with Nandos

Chicken butterfly recommended with spicy rice and mac n cheese Sharing platter is also good Grilled chicken and the sauces are so good. Great ambience and lovely staff

Amazing customer service especially a member of staff called Tom, attended to our every need. I paid for a pot of perinase but they had ran out of stock and I didn’t like the alternative so instead Tom gave me a free full sauce to apologise which I was very happy as usually they would just refund you the £1. He checked up on us multiple times and actually had conversations with us as well .

This is one of the best Nandos I've been too. Friendly staff and quality of food is much better. Free parking is available too, so, it is a bonus..Kuukrekoo !

We came for my nieces 20th birthday and the staff were absolutely lovely we were seated straight away by Shauna the manager who also took care of us throughout our meal. The food was well cooked the cocktails were amazing even the birthday girl enjoyed them so glad to see cocktails in nandos finally! We were even Assisted with the cake we brought in. Amazing service guys keep it up we felt very at home took us a while to leave because the atmosphere was brilliant 👏🏾

It was lovely atmosphere. My daughter loves it she is a picky eater. We had a good time. Shona took really good care of us as it was my daughter's birthday. The whole experience was a 10 from me.

shawna and tom were blessed hosts who i hope see this review and realise they are legends. they gave us exceptional service and were so attentive to everything. i will be coming back again very soon honestly for the service above all. it was so nice in fact that my friend who i was dining with described our two hosts as “a ray of hope in smelly oak”

Just eaten in this restaurant with my friend and the food and all the staff was amazing especially the manager Stacey who went above and beyond,as she helped me order through the nando app ,keep up the good work and I cannot wait to vist again,I will be booking my Christmas party here as I enjoyed so much
