Great food with lots of vegan options - I had the hummus plate which was fab - and great service from Jhorick :)

Food was cold, and bland for the price also 11 pound for a breakfast that came like this. Bacon very fatty and unable to cut. The service was not welcoming. I do not recommend eating here.

Great visit! Several vegan options on the menu. Well presented food and tasted lovely. Able to use a plug socket at the table to work. Oat milk available. Music good and not too intrusive. Brilliant customer service from Andy S, who was helpful, friendly and really attentive - he's an asset to your business. Would definitely visit again.

Just had the BEST service from a waiter at Giraffe. I only had a short time before a train and he's just been spot on, responsive and really, genuinely helpful! I didn't leave enough time to eat in so he just organised my food into a takeaway and has out everything from cutlery to sauces in. Just so thoughtful! Thank you!

It's the first time We have ever visited here. We had the Thai Duck stir fry, which was amazing...by far the best food we have had. I would also like to give high praise to Jhorick who served our food, a very kind member of staff who never seemed to stop still.as he was always makeing sure the restaurant was clean and tidy. Also we would like to give praise to Katie who went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and valued customers. Definitely a venue we will be visiting again and highly recommend for others to visit. Most people visit places for either the food or the staff....It's very rare that it's for both as is the case here. Amazing food, incredible staff... unforgettable meal out.

Food was really basic. Thought i would give it a try but food is defo not worth above £25, can find much better elsewhere. Staff was nice but didnt come to the table to ask how the food was or anything. fizzy drinks were warm and flat. Disappointed

Quiet and comfortable for breakfast at 9.30 am. Flat white coffee was lovely, breakfast was so so sausage over cooked and toast cold. But 10% service charge..really it's Giraffe not Adams or Purnells. I wouldnt use them again on that basis.

Nice atmosphere, if a little noisy, but you are bang in middle of Birmingham Station. Food was served in good time and was hot and delicious! Note: they do put a service charge on the bill so the tip which would have been more went away!!

Food was amazing, served quickly and warm. we tried the strawberries and cream pancakes, the mexican tostada and the eggs benedict. the tostada was fresh, the eggs benedict had an amazing herb oil round the plate. The food is good but the best one that we tried was the tacos, ngl Jhorick was right about it. Also, Jhorick was really nice and patient with us, even helping us choose the food. The place is a little hot but I think that's just because of the grand central heating, either that or because of the fact that the place is surrounded with kitchens which ofc will warm up the place, probably good in the winter tho. Jhorick was king, love that guy!

came to the place for dinner. the Shai greeted me very well and friendly. she graced me with constant smiles and politeness. easily raised the vibe of the place being how radiant she was. then when it comes to JM, he made sure the food was all good. he made sure i was very well too. incredible hospitality from the both. ever so thankful. defo coming back for more. or rlly for JM and Shai. p.s dont order the gyozas unless your a toddler. or you have a stupidly low appetite

I was served by the very friendly Andy and the lovely manager (didn’t catch her name) Andy was very attentive yesterday, made sure everything was looked after. I could see that his other guests were well looked after. Enjoyed it that much that when choosing to find breakfast before getting a train I came back and was lucky enough to be served by the same people with top notch service. Breakfast OK expensive for what is was, one waitress was so nice, the other one needs to get more training on customer service. Service charge added to the bill disgraceful won't be going there again

Visited this morning. Wish I hadn't. The food was OK, but the service was abysmal. I truly believe we were served by the most miserable waitress ever. Couldn't crack a smile. She was 'off' the whole time!! I realise we all have bad days, but at least try to make an effort. This waitress was vile!! I deliberately (but politely) requested she remove the service charge of our bill. She had the audacity to look most put out!!! Can't see myself or my sons returning.

Excellent ambience and service. Ample Seating area in a very vibrant open space. Service is quick and everyone appears positive and inviting The menu is quite enticing with a fusion of British and Asian flavours. A nice array of cocktails and mocktails. I would liked some meal combo offers. I liked the starters and appetizers menu. Shame it was a bank holiday or I could have used my Taste Card discounts. The food is served quickly and sumptuous.

First time I’ve eaten here and I have to say that the food and service was really good. An average meal with drinks and a deserts came in at £30 per head, that’s about right IMO

Giraffe was a revitalising yet tantalising experience of the tastebuds. Shai provided excellent service to accommodate for my dietary requirements. The location of such an establishment in the CBD has led to higher footfall, and also, experienced and enthusiastic staff, like the aforementioned Shai, who was very polite.

Got seated fairly quickly by someone that clearly didn’t want to be at work. Took them ages to take our order, even to serve us drinks. Nobody checked on us if we were happy with the food. A total waste of £20 and I’ll never eat there again. Instant regret !!! It wasn’t busy so I didn’t understand the wait? We even had to chase for the bill several times. The fish and chips looked popular, could see that being prepared several times. The location is fine, it’s like a food court. It’s pretty obvious where you’ll be seated and what the atmosphere will be like so no complaints there.

Just had delicious steak and duck stir fry meals in Giraffe, Grand Central, Birmingham. The service from lovely Shaila was amazing! Even my 13 year old said how great she was when we left!!! Thank you we will he back soon.

Breakfast at Giraffe in the station food court. We were the only diners this morning. I had toast with avocado and tomato, my companion had maple and bacon pancakes, very well presented, coffee was good and the gentleman that served us was indeed a gentleman . A good place to eat.

Came in for a munch before our show and we were welcomed by really friendly staff at the door. Service was 10/10 from start to finish. Our waitress was very accommodating to our needs and made sure we had everything we needed. Nothing was too much hassle or bother which was really refreshing. Will definitely be back again for quick service and yummy food :)

We had yesterday a very tasty breakfast served by Andy! All together :service, food, ambience were absolutely great. Definitely 5 stars. Today we came back and Tany is taking care of us. Very kind, professional, serving us the most tastiest breakfast we have ever had. Regards to the chef too! ❤️❤️❤️

Food wasn’t the best but workers were very friendly and the place was very clean. The door was cold and the drinks (like the coke and sprite) tasted like sparkling pewter and tasted very watered down.

I’ve looked at other reviews on here and it looks hit and miss. We went on a Tuesday lunchtime, originally we planned to go to the Pho Vietnamese Restaurant but after just standing there, being seen and not being acknowledged or seated we switched over to Giraffe Restaurant and straight away was greeted by a super bubbly and very nice young lady with yellow flowers in her braid, we were immediately shown to a nice table. We had an hour to our train and still got to the platform with time for the loo and minutes to spare. We only ordered small dishes from the menu and dirty fries side, we thoroughly enjoyed them. Would definitely return.

My wife and I enjoyed our meal at Giraffe - it was a busy Saturday so there was a wait on for the food but it was beautiful when it came. Staff were very friendly and attentive also.

First time eating at this venue and it was a disappointment. The place was pretty busy but we were still able to get a table. We placed our order and then the wait began. The waitresses were really helpful and did their best to assist, so well done to them for trying to manage the situation. The food took ages to arrive and when it did, it was ok, but nothing to write home about. Then there was the issue of paying. They seemed to be having an issue taking card payments, so we had to pay online or with cash. We tried numerous times online but nothing would go through and there appeared to be a server error. Not great when your card payments are down as well. We ended up paying cash, and it was lucky I was carrying some as it is rare I carry cash on me. Overall, the food seemed overpriced for what it was, the service was slow, the atmosphere wasn't amazing and paying for the meal was a nightmare. The staff were great but I won't be coming back.

My boyfriend is vegi (and has a nut allergy) and the restaurant was very accommodating! We cane for Valentines and i was very easily and quickly able to alter the time of our booking. Out waiter (Rachelle) was lovely, kind and gave us good food recommendations! Would definitely come back.

Where should I begin? I had brunch here a few days ago and what started off as a potentially nice experience became a nightmare. The restaurant it's more of an island thing in the middle of the mall so not warm at cozy at all. The stuff seamed nice to start off but not as nice after I've ordered idk why. The food didn't take that long to arrive at the table and it was warm and had nice plating howether in one of my last bites I found a chip of someone's nail. This is absolutely disgusting! First of all why are you not wearing gloves when preparing food and secondly if you have this biting nail issue why do you work in the kitchen? The food was not worth the 11£, the service was for sure not worth any tip ...howether I ended up paying 12.10 for it all. They should pay clients to eat in this conditions not the other way around to be honest.
