The food was amazing, I can’t fault the service we received from Matt he was brilliant. A lot of restaurants/bars you go to just want you to keep buying and have no conversations beside that, Matt kept the conversation flowing and his hospitality skills were spot on.I would definitely be back and recommend anyone going to try it, you won’t be disappointed!

A reliable place to have a drink, relax and chat, cannot fault the service or drinks.

This will be an account of my experience at this restaurant. To get a more complete feel of the place I suggest you look at other people’s posts of the restaurant. Service: We had an extra person join our group last minute and front desk was willing to accommodate all of us and find a free table to fit us all (I would advise making sure you book a table when you are sure of the group size). Throughout our time there, we had a dedicated person attending to our needs, doing regular check-ups on us to make sure we are okay in between orders. The restaurant was well staffed so we did not get to a point of trying to get the attention of any service person passing by. Food: I had ordered the Grain-fed Ribeye (350g) prime steak and the restaurant didn’t disappoint and served it to my liking. The food presentation was to a high level. We had enough cutlery on the table as well as salt and peppers. The table didn’t not feel cluttered, I felt like there was enough space to eat and put my belongings if I so chose. Drinks: I just ordered red-wine to compliment my steak, and I must say it tasted good, not too harsh. Overall the restaurant is on the high-end. The menu is on the pricey side but there are some meals in there that are on the lower price bracket that are also good. The restaurant is well lit, but unfortunately If you are a person who likes taking pictures in restaurants, this restaurant does not have a dedicated space for that, it is only at your table that you can do that.

It was truly a nice evening out with my girls, the food was so delicious the whole restaurant is beautiful. Loved it!

In the evening the music was very loud. There are probably people who like this, but for me personally it was too loud and it would be very difficult to hold a conversation. Location is modern and food was good. Had crispy duck, which unfortunately wasn't crispy. The next day we had lunch. Much more pleasant without loud music and the burgers and steak were very good. The waiter went to great lengths to organize vegetables for our companion that were prepared without a lot of fat/butter.

Great venue. Aesthetics are top notch, as are the staff and the atmosphere. Would bring a group out to celebrate.

Nice location at the bank of some water body( not sure) but great cinema and outdoor activities’ Reaching there is a kind of project. Staff is lovely! Audience is smashing’ mouthwatering dressing sense😝I’m digressing again! Food choice is amazing’ hummus starter and scallop’ stuffed Aubergines etc was nice too.Serving size is smaller tho: Steak came rare despite ordering medium so asked for a reheat.However they did recompense by cooking again! But total wait time is around 1-2 hours so u can have a great walk around or pick a friendship while curbing ur appetite. Over all a great place to sit and enjoy loud music. Have a great bunch of people to admire their fashion sense, made me feel totally a fraud to wear a nice wool coat and temperature controlled body thermals. Drinks were A hit… ☺️

We were ready to leave a very negative review regarding the service at this restaurant after being seated 30 minutes after our booking time, and then having a 40 minute delay for our food, but it is very important to say that if a restaurant makes a mistake but admits it and then rectifies it, we can’t give negative feedback! Based on your actions tonight we will be back and we are thankful for the food being deducted from our total bill. I will also say that the food is superb, we were thoroughly impressed even after the wait! The steak was quite possibly some of the best we have ever had! Another massive plus point is the availability of alcohol free wine! As the driver of the evening it was nice to feel like an adult rather than sticking to juice or water.

Great place located in city centre but with canal view. The food was amazing! We had an anniversary meal here and there was 4 of us so we spent over £160 but I guess this is normal spend for a meal. We liked the flowers on the wall and service was truly helpful and nice.

We have visited a few times within the last few months and have to say the food is absolutely beautiful that’s why we returned. I’ve been with my husband before a show. Then recently the last visit was for my mother in laws 75th birthday which I have to say food and as just as lovely. But just wanted to point out that we were given the sofas on the back wall they were far too low for 75 year olds. Also I had asked if something could be done when bringing dessert out and they said no problem we will write Happy 75th birthday on the plate I took candles in. When it came out there was 1 candle sticking out and no writing on plate so was disappointed. We will return as we do love it here but when it’s a 75th birthday which I did state it was for, just mentioning those sofas aren’t suitable far too low and once you sit back your too far away from the table Thank you

The food was great, and it was definitely worth visiting again. My friend had the miso cod, which was delicious and brilliantly cooked.

Came for the Sunday roast as a group of friends. Food was delicious, huge portions, everything was really tasty. All the staff were super friendly and the right level of attentive. Would definitely return.

A tall Turkish guy was our waiter and he did a great job in entertaining my family whilst we were able to enjoy some quality food. We Will definitely be coming back soon.

Absolutely phenomenal, I used to come here whilst living in Birmingham 8+ years ago, and it's still as good now as it was back then. Beautiful restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. Attentive and polite staff. Food is flawless. Recommend the tempura king prawn starter and Lebanese Fattoush salad main. My friends also enjoyed their heritage beetroot starter and steak main.

Had the best time here celebrating my anniversary. My waiter, Kadir offered the best service and made sure we were fully satisfied. The steak was cooked perfectly. Thank you!

I expected a lot more, but for the pricing it was just ok. The toilets were not clean and the cubicle locks were broken, and to my mind if a venue can’t be bothered to clean their toilets, how clean is their kitchen? Vegan options are very limited - one main, one starter, no dessert. Actually they say they have sorbet, but when I asked the waitress brought me something that was clearly ice cream. I asked if it was vegan and she said, “Yeah there’s no egg in it”… The aubergine was actually surprisingly nice, to be fair. You have to be ok with food that’s squidgy and mushy, but if you can get past that the flavours were amazing.

Where to even start!! I planned a surprise birthday party for my friend at Bank in their private dining space and this was by far the best decision I made. From the time I arrived bare in mind it is located in Brindley Square so difficult to get access with your car, they were able to sort out for my car to get access to off load all the event bits especially the cake as it was first very heavy but it was a hot day so didn’t want the cake to be in direct sunlight. The staff were amazing but most importantly Matt who was our assigned waiter during the event. He ensured everything ran seamlessly and went above and beyond for all the guests. We had an issue with one of the meals which Matt ensured it was quickly rectified with no hesitation! Matt even ensured the guests that had dietary restrictions and had pre ordered food still met and spoke with them to double check their dietary requirements. Well done Matt and all the staff at Bank restaurant! We all had an amazing experience!

Usually bank is a favourite for me and my family and caters to our requests perfectly. We booked a table for my 20th birthday with a request to sit near the canal. However the host/manager was very rude and dismissive when we were confused as to why we weren’t sat where we requested. She then lied to say it’s reserved for larger tables (were a table of 4) and then proceeded to sit a table of 2 on our requested table. When my mom addressed her concern she was not in the slightest apologetic and completely dismissed how she was feeling. Other than what felt like classist behaviour, the waiters were brilliant and attentive

Well what can I say about bank, we asked to sit at the front they said come to the terrace and take in the views of the canal. The staff were very accommodating and friendly, me and my daughter in law were very casual and they treated us very well. The food, the friendly lady servers we had 3 in all were second to none. The food was of the highest quality we recommend the Asian sharer it is presented on an afternoon tea rack and the chocolate fondue was divine. When the sun shone they opened the shutters and let the light in. What an amazing ending to our 5 mile canal walk from small heath, we will definitely dine there again.

AVOID!! Had a table booked in December which I arrived 2 minutes late for. The member of staff at reception was very rude and stated that I had missed my table as I was late despite being within the 15 minute grace period. I was then told it was my fault I was late and had to wait for a table to be free. I spoke to a friend of mine who was working as bar staff and he told me that Bank had overbooked the restaurant and I would be lucky if I got any food. If the lady on reception apologised and told us that the restaurant was overbooked and I would have to wait, I would be understanding, but I was spoken to with attitude and the blame was put on to me rather than accepting any accountability, making me feel very uncomfortable. As a paying customer I do not expect to be spoken to in such a manner, especially in one of the “finer” establishments in birmingham. We had to wait over an hour food food, which was very mediocre and the steak was burnt. We reached out to bank to tell them about our experience, which was ignored. So avoid visiting during busy periods as you will be blamed for their errors.

This really deserves 10 stars. Called in for lunch today, chose from the set price lunch menu, stunning! The best Tuna tataki I have ever tasted, the miso glazed aubergine main was incredibly good. Service was sensational, we were looked after by Victoria, fantastic personality, and so glamorous! Menu knowledge was so helpful. Thank you so much to all the kitchen and front of house staff, we had the best time.

Starters were lovely. Mains of fish and chips, and steak and chips were very bland, no flavour. Chips were cooked from frozen chips. Deserts of cheesecake and strawberry pavlova tasted weird quite frankly. Over priced bland food.

Maria at the bar provided service to a standard everyone should hold themselves to! Lovely evening and wonderful cocktails !

Restaurant is always 10/10, and provides a high-end dining experience for affordable prices. In a great location for drinks or before visiting the Utilita Arena. Food & service is impeccable on every visit!

A bit of a Fawlty Towers situation! Booked for 7pm with the aim of being in the Arena for 8:30. Checked in early just on the off chance they could take us but no - totally fine - we had a drink and went to the desk again at 7. Nice person at the desk explains that there was no way we could be out in time. The kitchen was very busy and couldn't have food out in time for us to enjoy properly. Cool - the time to explain that to us was perhaps when we checked in at 6:25, and I think Bank has been around long enough to expect a busy time before a concert in the Arena on its doorstep. Amusingly, you are told that you have a 90-min slot when you book :D A little shambolic! (The Zizzi across the way took us in, plated up and had us out in plenty of time!)

Dined there yesterday evening. Highly recommend. The food was beautiful and the staff super friendly and efficient.

I’ve given one star as we were going to a concert. Booked for 7 pm to eat to get to gig for 8.30 pm (noting 1.30 hr time slot). Checked in approx 35 mins early. At 7 pm presented ourselves and told couldn’t be seated for at least 10-15 mins. Told them about our timings and they said very busy kitchen and even if seated now would not have enough time to get food, eat and be out by/ before 8.30 pm. They were most apologetic but clearly poor management of the kitchen and bookings as at no point were we contacted to be told of their service delivery issues. I then realised that lots of other people had been told this as I had previously seen a lot of unhappy people leaving and grumbling about the “food” situation but didn’t know what they meant until we arrived for our table. Very bad customer experience and wouldn’t recommend if you are going to a concert. Can’t comment on food or service as we couldn’t be seated as wished. Thankfully a nearby pizza place was our salvation.

Such a disgusting time ! Group of us girls went for a birthday meal and the service we received was just so rude and terrible. We waited 45 minutes for the started even though we had a set menu . They just had no decorum or patience & then when the food came and it was incorrect it took a while to rectify the situation. In the end we had to speak to the manager and explain what had happened and she had kind of sorted it out by taking my main off the bill. We wont be coming back unfortunately just quite literally left a bad tast in out mouths. The waiters were just so rude with their responses.

Banks is one of my absolute favourites, I try to visit every time I’m in Birmingham. Everything is a delight, from staff welcome, seatings and the vibe, the service, and above all the food choices and quality is impeccable! Our usual go to main dish is a sharing steak , we lately had the Bone-in-marrow steak and it was amazing! Red wine choices are superb, try their wine selection from any South American country and you will be pleasantly surprised 🤩 I can go on and on, but I’m certain if you give it a try you will know for yourself how awesome this restaurant is 😃

Went to the bank today. Asked for a table for two. Restaurant was near empty. Receptionist said no we do not have a table for two. Walked outside booked a table online. Walked back in and asked to speak to the manager. The receptionist said “what because I wouldn’t give you a table, you don’t need to be rude to me I’m just the receptionist. It is actually because you have a hat on. I don’t need to justify myself to you”. All I asked was to see the manager. The manager told me they do not have a space for us as they are short staffed and reached capacity and the online booking was a glitch in the system. I explained I have just watched two people be given a table she called me a liar. So is it because you have reached “capacity” which clearly isn’t true or because I have a hat on (two other gentlemen had hats on sitting down). I do hope it wasn’t for the colour of my skin.

Had a great meal here. The food was amazing. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The staff always check in on us to see if every thing was ok for us. Would highly recommend this place.

Visited Bank a couple days ago before a show. The greeter was polite and friendly, the place itself is well decorated and has a good atmosphere. The food was tasty and presented well. Some options were quite pricey. The desserts were really lovely. The downside were the toilets, they were quite stinky and unclean. Really let the rest of the venue down. Even walking past them was unpleasant. Servers were polite and friendly. Would eat here again, and hope the toilets are tended more.

Went to the Banks to have some after work dinner with some friends. If you are fussy like me about car park, there is a car park that’s close by and very affordable. You will have to do a 4mins walk from the car park to the restaurant location. In terms of ambience, I will give it a 5 star. I am one about aesthetics and the river bank gave me that. The decor and everything is spot on. When it comes to the food, we ordered a sharing platter for £80 and was expecting a bigger portion or some add ons like vegetables. Unfortunately we got the chateaubriand with just chips. It was quite tasty especially the mushroom. In terms of service I will give them a 3 stars. It took so long for the order to come through and the waiter wasn’t that happy to help. She seemed a bit swamped with work. However, in total I will give it a 4 stars. Will definitely be visiting again

Such a shame. Went for a pre-theatre meal; waitress was very rude on the way in, then while our waiter was polite and tried his best, the kitchen was incredibly slow so after an hour of waiting we had to leave with no food. Just not good enough and wouldn’t go back.

The range of food is innovative, but the staff do not notice when a table is ready for some service, eg. to order, or for the next course. The lighting is very ‘dim’, which is appropriate for late dining, but it is rather gloomy for early evening.

I really liked the atmosphere and vibe in Bank. Food quality is so great 💯👍. The summer menu is awesome. Just wow❣️

We have been regular visitors at Bank for many years now, but due to starting new jobs and having a slightly negative experience last time due to waiting for the bill for over an hour and a half, we hadnt visited for a while. Yesterdays visit was quite frankly shocking. Firstly, we expected to be sat in the outside area by the canal, but we were instead sat at the front outside area. When I questioned this I was told that I booked “outside” so this was our allocated table, to which I though that the booking system was misleading as “outside” didnt clarify which outside area this meant. We got sat at a huge table despite us being just a table of two, which was dirty and unlaid. No napkins, side plates, cutlery or glasses. It looked like a bar table. Starters came out and we waited for over five minutes just staring at them whilst we waited for cutlery and side plates to arrive (which we had to ask for anyway). The male waiter who dropped these off was rude, and when he gave the cutlery he placed it on the dirty table and hadn’t even provided napkins, meaning I had to ask for these again. The mains took over 30 minutes to arrive after we’d finished starters. When they came out, they were delicious but the portion sizes were very small. I had ordered a second drink before we got our mains and it didn’t arrive until after I’d finished my meal, by that time I sent it back as we just wanted to leave, as we were fed up of the service. Throughout the meal there were groups of servers stood by our table chatting and seeming stressed, which I didn’t find appropriate or professional. Even before our mains arrived, a different lady to our server came and asked if we’d booked and what name it was under as she needed a table???? As if we were going to be kicked out before mains!! Also , as we ate we had to endure a whole table of 6 smoking next to us. Unpleasant. It will take us a lot for us to come back to Bank now, which is a shame as we are regulars.

Lovely place, but service is shocking. Received cold steak, no condiments. Had to ask and wait 10 minutes for peppercorn sauce to compliment steak. Had to wait a further 15 minutes for dessert. Quality of food average. Please go elsewhere as this place is a joke.

Slow service, the gents were DISGUSTING and the Chicken Cesar Salad, when it arrived an hour and forty five minutes after it was ordered, was cold, dry, and inedible. So therefore it was sent back, leaving no desire too have it replaced with anything else. To top it off, the music in the restaurant was far too loud to permit conservation without effectively shouting. Not at all impressed.

Potentially the best rib eye steak I’ve tasted!

Loved my experience here. Bogdon and Eli were the best. They really looked after us, made things very clear, they didnt try to hide any charges and gave such genuine advice when I wanted to take my lobster. Drinks got muddled up slightly but the patience they displayed was next to none. Defo coming back. Very high quality but not pretentious. X

Usually someone who enjoys coming here but i had to wait until after the meal to write this negative review. I called yesterday and spoke to a really kind lady who was helpful and respectable. Today on the 19th.. the lady i spoke to was genuinely rude and unwilling to help, as a manager its your job to help those coming into your establishment, its not your job to push problems onto someone else, especially after i had been told to call in the first place. This lady ‘general manager’ was so rude and disrespectful to the point i actually had to hang up the phone because we were going back and fourth and it became unprofessional. i have made three videos in bank for my TikTok page that have blown with over 30k views each and counting which i will be removing due to this horrible treatment. This manager who is also a Karen and unnamed, must’ve been having such a bad day that me hanging up triggered her, which led her to lying to those above her and i don’t appreciate that one bit. I was told i couldn’t come as i had made her cry (due to swearing at her on the phone, which in itself is a joke because I’m not a swearer and I’m never rude to those in the hospitality industry because i know how stressful their jobs are) or my party wouldn’t be welcomed or hosted even though there were 20+ attendees. I would understand if i was disrespectful to the her, but i wasn’t, so the fact i had to sit back and miss out on a celebration because somebody couldnt do their job or be helpful is a shame and i wont be returning. i’ve even looked at so many reviews and i’ve seen that others have complained about management too, as an establishment you shouldn’t have managers who disrespect customers and are able to get away with it with a few crocodile tears. Additionally to this, on arrival my family were told that they would still have to pay for my food, even though management called and said i wasn’t welcome? ridiculous and certainly cheeky. (Btw, it was whatever female manager who was on duty at around 1pm on the 19th of April) sort it out and correct your staff when wrong instead of enabling them.

What a fantastic evening before seeing Peter Kay at the Utilita Arena in Birmingham. From the minute we walked in (without having booked) the customer service was superb; first class. Absolutely delicious food and attentive, friendly service all night. We will definitely be back. Thank you for a great evening.

Ok, so we are regular visitors at the Bank, however during last visit I was kind of shocked by how much the prices went up, it got soo much more expensive in recent months, don't get me wrong, the food is exceptional and the T-Bone we had was just finger licking good, but they got to slow down with those price increases I will still pay, but now I'm gonna think twice before spending £85 on a larger T-Bone for 2 people, at some point it's not going to be worth it.

It was my wife’s 50 th birthday and we hired bank restaurant private dining room. From start to finish the evening was amazing great service the whole time. We had 91 people for dinner and the food 3 courses plus cheese was excellent the room looked great and the service was faultless. The whole evening was amazing organised by Madi who is the loveliest lady very professional we had great communications through out the event planning and everything we agreed was done no let downs.No stressing all was brilliant. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Madi to any one i know. Also a big shout out to Tomo who was the head waiter and in charge of the service he could not do enough and looked after my guests brilliantly. Finally the amazing DJs ex moneypennys lads played amazing tunes all of us dancing such a great pair really glad we met them and hopefully we can go to a venue where they are playing again. all in all the food the service the venue Madi all the staff and the Djs made my wife’s 50 th really memorable, wished we could do it all again. Thank you everyone at bank for making my wife very happy indeed.

Wow! The Bank never disappoint. My company held an annual corporate lunch - 21 March on the lovely Waterside Terrace c. 80 attendees. The food was excellent (thank you chefs); the service always great. Shout out to Jalenta, Viktoria, Claudia and Zaid for yesterday. Couldn't be more helpful if they tried. And Madi... your patience and efficiency with all my last minute changes huge thanks. Great teamwork. We'll be back!

Came here on the back of reading raving reviews Environment and decor was outstanding!!! We had a waiter who took our order with no pen paper or tablet and there was only two of us and we only ordered mains. I ordered steak and mash with extra cauliflower cheese and broccoli. My friend had similar order. Hers came out correct we had no cauliflower cheese and I had no mash with my steak. My steak was £58!!! It was just warm! No mash no cauliflower Waiter said chef said sorry it will be 4 minutes. No offer to keep steak hot and mash took a lot more than 4 minutes I nearly finished my steak by the time it came so sent the mash back. No apology. Then to further insult us same waiter came with the cauliflower after we finished and jokingly said you want it for pudding! We both didn’t find it very funny after the service we just received. We asked for the bill he said I have taken the cauliflower off no real concern showed over complete mix up and said were you happy with everything I replied No. he said apart from having no mash and no cauliflower were you happy again I replied No he said so you were not happy? I said you gave me a steak just warm, no mash as per order you bring it out when I nearly finished you the arrive with the cauliflower and made a joke and you expect me to be happy! He walked off he didn’t like my response I really don’t know what I was supposed to say. We at least expected a sorry off a manager and the 10% service charge removed at a minimum Never will we go back there again

I want to start off by stating that my trip is most likely not reflective of the restaurant as a whole but I can only review my experience. Unfortunately, our mothers day experience at Bank was nothing short of a disaster, as we had a short wait to be seated even despite our reservation. Everything was fully booked so it appears the restaurant did not anticipate the number of people booked in for the event and so we ultimately had to wait 45 minutes for mains, followed by another 2 HOURS of waiting for the main meal, which subsequently arrived cold, or the meat was cooked raw, which was completely unacceptable. The General Manager was accommodating and i do not envy her job to have refunded most of the meals that night, but safe to say that the day was marred by incredibly poor service and slow kitchen staff.

Came here on Mother’s Day. Food was delicious. Although ended up with food poisoning. Assuming this was from the seafood.

I hosted a celebratory business dinner for 20 people in a pod, private dining room last night. The food was very good, the service was excellent and the personal care by all of the team, especially Tahir could not have been improved upon.

We had our book launch event and it was overall a great experience! Tahir was very kind and looked after us. Would surely recommend it.

We host lots of business events both in the UK and in Europe, so I can authoritatively say this one was of the best, thanks to to Tahir - who looked after us so well. We were holding a discussion/launch event so we needed our food to arrive without fuss and with perfect timing - which it did. The food was extremely good - of course - you'd expect no less, but the service ...10/10.

Came for Mother’s Day, restaurant was definitely over packed which made the food come out extremely slow. However, service from Tiggy was excellent who managed the situation very well. When the food did arrive was lovely as always.

30th bday party kicked us out at 12.15 never come again

Waited for over 2 hours for our food, we werent even shown our table because the waiters forgot about us so we were standing around for 30 mins. its an absolute waste of money.

Daughter had booked this venue for Mother’s Day present. On arrival at 330 as per booking we were initially impressed with the place. They did say they are running behind and to wait in the bar area, which we did. After 15mins we were collected and taken to are table. This was at 345. By 4 pm our orders were taken. 520 the meals arrived. I know it was busy, and I accept a bit longer than a normal wait, but 1hr and 20 mins wait is not acceptable, especially for an establishment of that calibre. There were numerous families/ people leaving because they had given up waiting for food. The staff were getting moaned at so much, even I felt sorry for them. Hearing people moaning that they had been waiting 2hrs for their main courses was common place. The staff were trying their best, but it’s not a cheap place, and it may have been busy, but it should be able to cope, it built to cater for that many people. Food is not cheap and it was ok, it wasn’t the hottest and was nothing special. Would I visit again, I don’t know, I would have to be convinced. Shame really.

Came here to celebrate Mother’s Day with my mother. Staff were extremely friendly and attentive. We had a fabulous main course and dessert and the food was just super. I got the sirloin steak and my mother got the seabass. We were seated with views onto the canals which was special. The bar area was bustling and there was a real modern feel to the place. One small thing to note was the food could have been hotter when served. Overall really happy and would highly recommend as a treat!

We were a party of 27 and had a 1st class experience. Tahir was absolutely brilliant with his service and his attention to detail. The food was exceptional. Let me recommend the French Onion Soup. Superb! Will 100% return next time we are in Birmingham.

Food as always was beautiful. Our server Alam was a superstar. Helped us with our food choices and made us feel really welcome. ( even helped us pick out a Mother of the Bride Dress 😂). Definitely recommend the steak and the cheese soufflé starter

Would have loved if i could try the food but instead when we got there we had called in prior and asked if under 18s can come at any time. Which they responded with yes then due arrival they turn us down in the freezing cold and say we can’t be let in at 7:42 because the bar opens at 9 o’clock. So disappointed as my best friends birthday was ruined!

Stunning place, amazing food, spectacular service (thank you Alam!). Whole experience was exactly what we were looking for. Enjoyed a Saturday late lunch and drinks with friends, sat in the front area and it was a great day. Enjoyed starters, steak mains. dessert and coffee and some cocktails to follow. A must visit venue for any time.

Food was excellent. The miso butter with my prime rib was definitely the way to go. My wife had the venison on recommendation from our waitress. A spectacular recommendation indeed. In addition try the truffle and leek croquettes for a starter. Victoria looked after us and was superb from start to finish. Thanks Victoria.

The food and staff were excellent-we will return. The only comment I would make and this is for people to be mindful of, is that we purposely over ordered extra sides in order to be able to take food away with us - but when we asked for take out boxes they advised they did not supply them -we should have asked I suppose before ordering but this was a shame as we left an awful lot of food which was wasted.

Starters and mains were absolutely lovely. I throughly enjoyed the food however service was a let down. Small plates to use for a sharing platter were brought out 15 minutes after the platter meaning we had no plates, food was timely but when we asked for the bill our server brought the dessert menu instead which I was a bit confused about since we specifically turned it down previously. Food was good. Ribeye steak cooked very well and to the correct rarity. Leak and truffle croquettes were excellent also. Atmosphere was nice, but music a little too loud. However this was a Saturday evening, so no real complaints there. Very good wine list also.

Been here many times over the years and especially in the past few months, and I’ve never been disappointed. Our waiter was great really made an effort to interact even thought it was a busy Wednesday. We used the 50% on food for this visit so we were more adventurous with what we choose from the menu. Everything was on point and we didn’t leave a bite. Price of the drinks is the only thing I would pick about as I’m in the trade and know the mark up but it’s the price you pay these days when going out in a large city for the evening.
