Nando's in Birmingham

Super easy to order through the app and the service was excellent. Not everything on the menu was available and vegetarian stuff we ordered didn't quite hit the mark. Chicken was excellent though.

Nando’s is not for me, I think I will stick to KFC for disappointment rather than this utter mess of a meal

Chicken was cooked perfectly, all the food was delicious - not every nandos does it as well as the Sutton one. Best of all was the friendly and efficient service from all the staff on shift today - especially the manager, Chris. Very thankful for the attentiveness 😊

Good service and food is always nice, however the last couple of times the chicken has been very overcooked and dry. The wings were very overcooked as were the thighs.

Imagine a Nando's with no Ketchup bottles remaining and sachet substitutes in a bowl, which also ran out, only 1 vinegar bottle remaining. How is that possible? Get stocked up, it's not rocket science. Now add dry McCains chips, a sliver of chicken in a hard bun and worst of all, Coleslaw which was OFF and completely SOUR!. Took it back and got a substitute creamy mash which was just as bad as it was dry and hard (With Smash get Mash) Now imagine spending £40 on 2 plates of bang average food. Never again! Pitiful

I visited Nando's Sutton Coldfield on a Saturday evening, and while the chicken was okay, the food was delayed by an hour. The long wait made it hard to fully enjoy the meal.

This is an amazing place to dine in, I booked a table of 10 for a birthday and the food came out spectacular it was the juiciest and most flavourful chicken I’ve ever tasted it was the best and we had it around 7-8pm for dinner

It was fine. Chicken was over cooked/ dry and chips were old.

Nandos my new favourite place to eat.. the staff are friendly.. food is amazing and healthy which is unusual.. would definitely recommend and visit again soon.

I've been to Nando’s multiple times before. Like always I ordered from the menu and expecting to pay the prices displayed like all other restaurants with the Vat included in the set price. Found out that they then charge VAT on top of their set price, without making it clear on the menu that these are excluding Tax. Haven’t seen this before. I have always enjoyed the service I’ve had at Nandos. I enquired about this whilst at the restaurant, and although I questioned as to why they don’t display this clearly on the menu or inform customers about this prior to your order, the answer I got was this is normal and happens in all restaurants. What I expect is to pay the price displayed on the menu. I have no problem paying VAT when it’s clearly displayed. The menu prices added up to 40.96 and the hidden VAT added on made it 49.15 surely just add the tax to the menu cost like other businesses.

Love this place. We try to go once a week. The new halloumi and mushroom pitta is to die for, and I always have to have the hot chocolate pudding with ice cream. I also love the Gingerella's. The staff are so nice and friendly and they encourage you to try the new food on the menu. The atmosphere is so relaxed, I love the place.

Great relaxed atmosphere in this Nandos, it's much bigger and spacious than our local so we always come here. Food is always fresh with generous portions, staff are great too.

Nandos as expected - food as ordered. When i visited one of the members in my party had an issue with their food. Can be hard to find a member of staff to deal with queries and issues.

Extremely poor staff. I ordered and waited for 50 minutes and no order came. Their excuses were someone else got the order. So bad and frustrating.

Slightly understaffed, however, incredibly friendly staff and manager. My wife was a bit concerned about her butterfly chicken being slightly undercooked so the manager immediately replaced it with a fresh order within minutes also refilled our sides they were also happy to box them for us because she couldn't finish it. Definitely made the experience enjoyable.

Only my second visit to nandos, nice facilities, good tasty food, i had the chicken in pitta with mild sauce, chips and rainbow slaw, XPA tropical IPA was great too, good atmosphere, quiet as we went quite late on a Sunday night. Defo going back again, circa £80 for the 4 of us.

You know what you're going to get from Nando's - good, tasty and reasonably healthy food at decent prices - and the one in Sutton Coldfield doesn't disappoint in any way. Absolutely excellent service from Ben, tonight - really went out of his way to be helpful.

Was my first time eating at Nados. Was a great experience and great food cooked and served with well dressed and manord staff. My only disappointment was if you spend too long standing or sitting still in the mens toilets the lights turn off. This is something that differently needs addressing. Apart from that toilets and restaurant very clean and will definitely return

Lovely and attentive staff, great service and food

I like this Nando’s good atmosphere friendly staff and comfy surroundings. It’s been a while since the last time I didn’t expect the burgers to be so small. To make things worse they were served on a huge plate making them look like English muffins. They were tasty but not value for money

Collected a meal on click and collect was 20 mins early the staff were so helpful. I was about to pay for a drink but they said as I had already ordered gave me a free glass on them. These little things really can make someone’s day. I will for sure go back to this nandos as the service is bang on either sitting in or takeaway. Different bags for hot and cold food really makes a difference.

First and last time at this restaurant not only because of the food but also the service, order the chicken with 2 chicken BREASTS, this is what they gave me, when I asked the waitress she seems annoyed that I ask in the first place, if you putting in your menu that you are selling "2 CHICKEN BREATS" at least do it. Waitress said this is 2 chicken breats combined in 1, as you can see in the picture is just 1 chicken fillet. I was no able to ask for more questions since waitress decided just to walk away from us.

Food was excellent as was the service. Layout of tables seemed a little strange and the place could do with a lick of paint.

It's a Nandos so you know what you're getting. This one is well designed inside but isn't very big so can be busy.

Door handle broken and mended by string. The food wasn’t great soggy chips and for the price everything was jist not great. I mean pepes is the place for peri peri chicken their sauce is freshly made and cannot be beaten

Was really nice food had the loaded chips which are lovely and chicken wings. Also the staff were really friendly and seen to all out needs.

Staff are friendly, usually can get a seat without having to wait too long (without reserving) and this Nando's knows how to process One4All cards! Have been in other Nando's where they didn't know how to process them and had to pay full price.

Danny our waiter was lovely and they were super understanding when we said we wanted to eat in after first saying we wanted a collection order

Lovely, the manager on duty was lovely, we visited Thursday 29/11 7.30pm. The food was quick, everyone should try the mac and cheese

Order online and very rarely ready even on a quiet day in the week. Even giving them lots of time almost like they only start it when you arrive and you've paid for it as well... and a simple burger and chips... I've tried giving at least an hour and arrived few minutes late and still had to wait 10 minutes. Might as well just come and order... God knows what it's like they're busy. And there are no customers in the restaurant.. awful service.

Didn't send garlic breads and put the wrong spice level on food.

I recently dined at Nando's, and the food was absolutely delicious with no complaints in that department. However, there's definitely room for improvement when it comes to the service. Nando's has always been my go-to place for mouthwatering dishes, and this visit was no exception. The flavors were spot-on, and I couldn't get enough of their signature dishes. The menu offers a fantastic variety, and I appreciate that they prioritize freshly made food. Here's where my experience took a turn. After placing our orders, a friendly staff member informed us that our food would take twenty minutes because it was being freshly prepared. While I appreciate the commitment to freshness, it became frustrating when, after 30 minutes, our food still hadn't arrived. The most disappointing part was that we could see our food ready but unattended on the counter. Despite the restaurant not being particularly crowded, the staff seemed preoccupied with casual chatter among themselves. As a customer, it's disheartening to watch your meal sit untouched while staff members appear oblivious to the fact that it's ready to be served. In an otherwise pleasant afternoon, this service lapse cast a shadow over what could have been a great dining experience. Nando's, I adore your food, but please, let's work on the service aspect to ensure your customers don't leave with a sour taste in their mouths.

Nando’s well it’s Nando’s. It’s such a shame. I used to be a regular at this branch. It’s sad too see all the lovely staff who used to work there are gone. Brad was the one gentleman who was so lovely and Zoe who would be so welcoming and friendly, and really took the time to help my children enjoy their experiences. The staff aren’t what they used to be like. You used to be able to sit down, and talk to the staff, and have a conversation. They would ask about your day. Pippa is still lovely. We just wish that service could be the same as it was.

Not the best nandos as they very rarely get our take out order correct. And every time I've ordered from this branch there's either an incorrect item or the food isn't cooked properly.

The Nandos Sutton is one place I love to have a nice time. Not a crowded area at all. They’ve got nice meal plus the background music of diverse culture. You will sure the art works too.

Their new fully loaded fries is a rip off and I would not recommend it at all. It hardly had any cheese on it and no onions because they didn't have any! You end up paying £8 for a portion of fries! Their chickens are clearly on a diet and I now need a whole chicken to satisfy my hunger! On the positive side, the atmosphere is nice and staff are helpful. NHS discount is much appreciated 🙏

I can’t fault Nando's, and the service is always fantastic! The staff are friendly and welcoming! Shout out to Zoe. She is a true representation of what customer service should be like. The chips were cold,but it was rectified promptly.

We came here for an impromptu evening meal with my two daughters ages 5 & 3, after my daughter had her first hair cut. We were greeted immediately on arrival and they allowed my children to select the table they wanted to sit at. We were given colouring sheets and crayons and told how to order food. Three separate female waitresses came over, at different times, to tell my daughter how nice her hair looked (we had a balloon and hair glitter spray) and commented on the drawing they had done. My daughter was absolutely delighted with this attention and it really made her day. Food and drinks arrived really quick and was delicious. Kids meals were also spot on. Really impressed with the service.

Asked the lady who grilled my food and she said a lad called Romanro really succulent and tasty it was, haven’t been to the Sutton branch before but I will absolutely go again

Disappointed that the children's menu didn't offer chicken poppers or chicken nuggets (we took our 6 year old grandson last Sat and he chose the chicken wings but then didn't really enjoy them, so we ended up sharing some butterfly chicken with him). Kids menu needs to be tailored with what most kids want to eat. He didn't like the sweetcorn either, despite being one of his favourite veg at home. Also there was no colouring sheet, or activities. We were offered the back of a used sticker sheet and some crayons but again not ideal. Orders only by app too, as tills were down so experience wasn't great. Our adult food was good though and serving staff were trying their best.

Food was fine, however about 2 seats away from us there was on of the staff I assume on their lunch, was watching videos on his phone super loud and obnoxious, and then proceeded to sneeze without even covering his nose which put me off the food, yeah never again

It's a Nandos, what more can you say The food is nice enough but think of it more like 'McDonald's ala carte' The service is perfectly fine and the staff are friendly but it's not going to set world on fire

Ordered a takeaway, and was shocked to know that nandos don't provide sauce with their takeaways anymore. From our perspective, it's the different sauces and trying out the flavours that has made the whole nandos experience, and this new move completely ruined it. If you're planning a takeaway from here, don't bother - just get a cooked chicken from your local butcher.

Excellent service from the young man/ host on arrival yesterday, nothing was to much trouble, extremely friendly the food I ordered was for a takeaway. It was hot, well packaged and delicious. It’s was extremely quick to be made. Well done Nando’s Sutton Coldfield.

The restaurant itself is very spacious and clean. Service from Zoe was wonderful as she helped with our order and checked if everything was okay. Thank you! :)

visited on a wednesday lunchtime around noon and were warmly greeted by staff and shown to a table. fabulous artwork in this restaurant. ordered at the bar as hate ordering online and this was easy. food was good and the place was clean and bright. One minor warning don't stay in the loo too long as the lights are on a sensor !!!! Would go again.

We were charged for a meal that we did not receive! When we explained that we have not received meals, the staff were extremely rude! I have never experienced such a disgraceful service before. Be aware that they offer a refund in ten days! I have reported this as a scam.

Nando’s offer far better quality food than most of the reheated pub grub that a lot of places in Sutton serve. It would be nice if they offered more fresh sides, such as salads.

Impromptu trip to Nandos on a Saturday evening. Expected the restaurant to be busier as it was Saturday night but there was plenty of tables available. The food was nice and service was fast. Will happily visit again.

I ordered a chicken pitta and garlic side. The chicken was absolutely tiny. The smallest I've ever had anywhere and the garlic bread was very very dry with almost no taste of garlic. Then I nearly threw up from seeing a waitress serving with her trousers almost under her bum. She had red hair and walked like a duck. Vile. Nandos, you just lost a customer of 30 years. 0/10.

Came in here with my family and I've tried many different peri peri chicken shops and normally I'm quite satisfied with nandos but after trying Piri Fino in Sutton it makes you realise what a dive this place is waiting for over an hour terrible portions and the chicken is no where near as juicy and to top it all off all the staff look miserable

I often visit this particular Nando's with friends as the staff are very accommodating and the food is reasonably priced, plus the lively atmosphere can brighten up any mood. As a vegetarian, the selection is limited to a few burgers and salads, but still a wider range than some restaurants. Perfect for a fun night out with friends.

I'm not a huge fan of nandos but is okay for a decent lunch or dinner. That said, my missus loves it so we have been to a few different nandos in different cities we have lived. The one in Sutton Coldfield is by far the best; service, speed and quality far higher than others as well as having a much higher amenity level. Despite it not being my preferred venue, I would happily return and recommend.
