The staff are very vey bad, because as customers we went and we has our NHS CARD and we also has Blue Lite card which is acceptable everywhere for discount. And staff there was rude and specifically lady at till desk was extremely rude.(black lady) And we had very horrible experience at this Nando’s NEVER GO THERE!!!!🚷

We had a lovely meal at Nando's Perry. The food was flavourful, hot, and served promptly. The restaurant was clean, and the service was exceptional. I have to mention Diems, who looked after us and is truly an asset to the team

I visit this nandos quite often, however last week Sharon made our experience stand out from all our previous visits- she was so attentive, happy to help, and overall had such a lovely presence. She’s an asset to the nandos team.

Fantastic customer service from Diemz. Every time we have visited the Perry Barr Nandos we have been looked after by this guy. The food and service is perfect as always. Never a complaint.

Tye was a great, attentive waiter. Such a lovely smile too 😊 the new guy on the till was very helpful too. We've eaten here a few times before and it's beginning to look like its our favourite Nandos 😍 Walsall and Sutton etc haven't been good for ages. Thanks guys 😊😊 Recent visit, 8/2024 Brilliant service 👏 thanks. Rice bowl is dull and cold/tasteless. Peri chips need spice on them guys! They are just plain chips otherwise 😬customers are dirty there, felt sorry for the waitresses having to clean up the mess. People control your kids, pick up food off the floor 🙄

Great location if you want to enjoy shopping and halal food at the same place. Atmosphere is nice with plenty of space for seating, and the service was good as well. Plus free parking is bonus.

Mananager- Abdul the bald Asian guy with the beard is rude and hostile. Poor customer service - don't know how he became a manager its awful.

Slow service. Girl up front told us to wait 30 min… we left and came back but she still made us wait 10+ min without letting us know if a table is available or not. I reminded her but she just stared at me and walked off. I tried to order up front but the woman behind the counter walked off for 5 min leaving 3 of us to wait. Took another 10 min to get my order taken.

Very horrible service .. waiting in the queue for half an hour to order and when my turn came the girl on the counter said you will have to wait for the manager to take your order as you have got nuts allergies. Got so pissed have to go from there hungry .

I visited this Nandos for the first time; we were seated very quickly. The staff were polite and friendly throughout our time here. The food arrived 10 minutes after ordering which was great considering they appeared to be short staffed as only 1 member of staff on the shop floor. The food was hot and tasty, no complaints. I will definitely be back again!

Lack of sauce bottles available brings the experience down a little

Lovely clean restaurant, food is nice and consistent.Staff are lovely and nothing is too much trouble.Prices are reasonable especially in the cosy if living crisis.I came here last week too :) and it was such a nice atmosphere.

Nandos was great, the food was well cooked and presented well. Ordering was easy and the restaurant was quite busy when we went in. I gave it a four because I ordered a family platter as it was the 6 of us. When food was served, we weren't offered extra plates to use, the person walked away as soon as they put the food on the table , we had to ask for extra plates.

Went there last tuesday ordered food and the food came out very quickly i was a little shocked as we ideally have to wait some time for the chicken to be cooked i ended up very sick got food poisoning as i have never had it before dont understand how the food was served very quickly.

Only one thing was abit frustrating, you have to order on app, & you can't get reception in sum area of the restaurant, so your there fiddling with your phone, would prefer if staff took order on the table face to face. Everything else was good.

Good food the service was a lil slow but overall ok

As always huge queues, empty tables and no one being seated. Told an hour wait, decided to get takeaway, then had to queue 20 mins to place food order. Tried to explain to both managers that members in the group suffer from anxiety and tried to explain that they have access cards to help avoid long queues with their disabilities. Managers were not interested in helping and just said you have to wait, there's nothing that we can do. Finally ordered food to takeaway, then had to wait another 35 mins! Almost wasted an hour to get takeaway. I would avoid this place , unless you're really desperate for chicken! Management of this restaurant who were on shift in the evening of the 8th March, need to go on training and learn about diversity and disabilities. The rest of the general staff were friendly and helpful.

Love it every time we visit to enjoy the nandos chicken

I recently visited nandos with my family and encountered some challenges in being seated promptly. Despite explaining that we have two children with autism and presenting our Access card, the manager, Sharon, declined our request. Her response was dismissive and lacking in empathy towards our situation. This contrasted sharply with the professionalism and attentiveness of the rest of the staff, who were polite and responsive to our needs. It is clear that there is room for improvement in the management of customer service at this establishment, and I believe that Sharon could benefit from observing and learning from her colleagues.

The food was good but it was very cold.

Friendly staff, who cook quality food - the peri peri chicken is particularly good! There is a decent car park alongside, and comfortable seating inside. The restaurant is clean, and the kitchen is mostly visible from the public area. They are evidently very popular, and it is worth calling to order ahead during peak times.

Nando’s this how you let orders go out on a Saturday evening click and collect order , this is meant to be a butterfly chicken burger , without the bun . Food was cold and disgusting. Chicken was dry and service slow .

Much better than it’s star city counterpart. Service is great, waiters and waitresses are very helpful and friendly. (The dude complimented my moustache so that’s a bonus). Great atmosphere, but I reckon not many people know about this nandos as it only opened a couple of years ago and everyone just goes to the star city one. But trust me, this is a very under rated location. Heaps of parking available. Don’t have to hunt for a spot like we do in star city. Food is on par as well, just now a fresh nandos should be. Just a very pleasant experience overall

Nando’s Perry Barr - The best Nando’s by far in Brum- Authentic fresh and service with a smile! It’s super important to see great service, from “Big Moh” the gentlemen in a blue shirt. A genuine greeting and went the extra mile - he took some pictures check-backed and brought my kids ice cream. Thank you “Big Moh” a true asset to team Perry Barr Nando’s!

Service was absolutely atrocious, Sharon the manager told us it would be a 45 mins wait until there was a table available I asked if it was ok if myself the 5 children and the other three adults could sit at the table and wait, she said no because the kitchen is under pressure I said I don’t mind waiting the 45 mins to order as it’s difficult with the children. She stated she would not be seating ANYONE for 45 mins so we decided to wait. About 30 SEC went by and a couple came through the door they were told 15 mins wait for a table, then a family of 4 came and were told 15 mins wait so I asked Sharon what’s going on she said ‘that’s the way I want to do it’ so we decided to leave as we couldn’t believe how politely rude she was, as we were leaving another staff member came to get us to come back as she had prepared the table Sharon told her not to seat us whilst Sharon was seating the set of people who had just entered the store. This isn’t the first time we have had bad service at this Nando’s it’s just sad that this Nando’s and a few staff spoiled it.

Really friendly staff. Missed items from our order hence 4 star service. (It was quiet when we ordered, about 4 tables dining and no one else waiting to order.) However the nice waitress was kind enough to rectify that.

Customer service standards vary, I have had good and bad experiences here. Food was great.

Service good as always, Chicken was fine. Chips were not salted well, Mash was dry, Broccoli was dry, Mac&cheese was pathetic.

This Nandos was noticeably different, clean, fresh, happy staff (which is everywhere, but they were particularly lovely here). The food was great too. If I didn't live so far away from this Nandos, I'd make a point of only coming to this one!

Service is slow and food portions are smaller than other nandos sizes. To add insult to injury, the chicken could've been grilled a bit longer too, the thing was still clucking on my plate.

The food was fresh and fulfilling, there was plenty on the plate, staff were attentive and polite, keeping the environment comfortable when dealing with unruly children. I had a pleasant visit and would recommend this to anyone travelling around the area.

Food was fresh and tasty with large portion size, food arrived promptly, bottomless drinks were fine, area was clean and tidy, cutlery actually looked clean not like most restaurants I've been too. Staff were friendly and attentive, definitely would recommend.

Why are your menu prices not VAT inclusive ( most restraunts in uk the menu price is VAT inclusive ) its not the 1980s no more why you charging extra price for VAT top of the menu prices

What can I say ! A fire broke out today and the lack of customer service was poor. Staff did not seem equipped for emergencies. we waited a hour and didn’t even eat there due to the fire. They need to seek further training or use fire extinguishers that’s what they are made for ! Also need a designated staff being a fire Marshall on shift. No one knew what they were doing there was no order or structure of refunds or compensation! It was a disaster ,much prefer star city branch !

Place is amazing food and service and the vibe and what you get from the experience well worth it but some off the prices r outrageous tbf just go with the full platter instead as had a 12 pound burger and wasn’t all that dry bread little piece off chicken and no sides Joke but all in all perfect

The food was amazing as always, but the service was slow, by the time the food came some if the food was cold.

Attended this afternoon, was left waiting no one serving - then when I was served the young man looked inconvenienced as if he didn’t want to serve? Food came out on time and was nice but front of house needs major improvements and you need staff constantly on the till - a smile wouldn’t go a miss either for the prices we are paying!!!

We would have expected some decent service standards but the service here is just awful. We arrived at 8pm on Thursday to show it wasn’t even a peak hour day/time! Starting with there was a queue of people inside but no one from staff came to see if new people were added and I had to ask after waiting 5mins if there was actually someone manning the queue. To which I got a reply to wait. Then on food ordering wise(needed to use NHS discount ) the manager was at the till and and she told me to wait while she took some cakes out. After waiting 2 mins she told me to queue behind a lady who was being served by another staff (wasting my time there). All the while another table staff came to ask for the menu by rudely gesturing to my family to pass it without saying anything, no please or Thank you. Thereafter if we raised our hand or asked politely to staff for attention no one batted an eye, one of the male waiters serving adjacent table looked at us when asked but did not acknowledge and just went. Then came the order where we ordered the family platter and the leg pieces were under cooked and inside some areas were very raw. After highlighting to the manager she tried to defend it and say this was an area which had a vein! We had to politely say this was not the area (we know anatomy pretty well). Then proceeded to blame us why I didn’t tell her earlier as soon as the meal was served! I had to once again say the leg pieces were the last bits on the plate we picked up, how would I have known it was raw! So, no apologies from her and blunting said another piece will take 20mins to cook, I had to say I don’t want another piece but to highlight the issue. Anyway she then asked if we finished, took the plate and said would let management know by sending pictures. I would give 0 stars for service if I could. The rest of the food was fine and Halal. That’s the only reason for the positive stars. Otherwise for such poor service I wouldn’t recommend coming here again.

Recently dined at Nando's and ordered 2 delicious chicken meals along with the highly anticipated "fully loaded" chips. While the flavors were on point, we did notice a slight hiccup. The chips stole the show, leaving only a modest amount of chicken and cheese in the loaded chip platter. As depicted in their ads, we had hoped for a more generous serving of these toppings. Our only concern was the value for money, with the platter priced at £8. Despite this minor letdown, we still appreciated the overall taste and ambiance of Nando's. We look forward to future visits and hope to see an even more "fully loaded" experience next time!

30/07/2023-Worst nandos ever,we were told to wait as our table was being cleaned,once seated realised it was still dirty,told 45min wait for 1/4 chicken advised to order something else,when the food arrived small portions,loaded fries had hardly any chicken on there the manager was useless and didn’t help wen we asked if this was the right amount of portion as there hardly any chicken. .drink machine wasn’t working coke tasted like water told the manager again told us it’s fine without tasting it himself.chicken was hard,over flavoured with sauce,tiny butterfly chicken,bread was rock solid,portions were tiny.rice came half empty in the dish,felt like their trying to ration food.staff useless.manager unpleasant unprofessional.waste of money never again

It was a great restaurant there was amazing customer service asking if everything was okay with our meal and asking if everything was okay , it was wheelchair accessible and they get you seated as quickly as they can. Food was amazing and the atmosphere was great overall a great place to go with family they deserve ten stars!

Went there and they were out of chicken thighs which I find odd since it’s a peri chicken restaurant how do they manage to run out of chicken thighs? Lol ended up getting a breast burger which was mediocre, corn on the cob was delicious though.

I went there yesterday with my family, the atmosphere was quite good all relaxing and classy at the same time however heading into the toilet it isn't always clean and may feel unhygenic when inside due to lack of care at certain hours. The Food was very nice the fries didnt feel straight from being unfrozen; the corn was very well made being not too raw and not overcooked, the coleslaw felt lighter than usual too so all and all the food was great. I would have to say what brings this place down to a 4 star is the service as they do not bring you your cutlery then expect you to get up and get it yourself and not to mention they do not offer at the table for you to add on yourself i.e. salt or pepper or vinegar but rather only have their sauces. Overall this place is very nice, would recommend it, it must be kept in mind that they don't operate the same way that other eat-out places do.

Worst service. Came into an empty restaurant told an hour to wait for seats or 20mins for take out. 45mins after ordering take out still waiting. And all the while others coming in getting seats after waiting a short time. Off my list forever :(

I visited here on a Wednesday afternoon expecting it to be quiet and it was crowded with hardly any staff visible. I was hesitant to sit down at first because I assumed service would of been slow but I was really impressed with everything. A black guy on the till (I assume to be new as I visit here quite often and haven’t recognised the face and didn’t see the name tag) took my order confidently, asked about allergies and repeated my order before I even asked for reassurance that I was really fond of. The food came out fairly quick, fresh and tasty. When leaving the restaurant I wanted to give my compliments to the chef and I noticed the same girl in the kitchen (gabby I think her name was) was the same girl brought out my food, I was shocked to see with so little staff they was making it work. Very impressed with this restaurant, exceptional

I recently dined at Nando's, and I must say that my experience was made truly outstanding by the exceptional service provided by the lovely waitress, Patricia. While all of the staff at Nando's were polite and attentive, Patricia's warm and friendly demeanor stood out and made my visit all the more memorable. What struck me most about Patricia was her genuine care for her customers. She took the time to engage in friendly conversations, making me feel like a valued guest, with her positive energy helping to create a welcoming atmosphere.

Basically feels like a fake Nandos ripoff Chicken overcooked and dry , not the kinda Nandos you'd expect Drinks machine faulty, only addressed when i pointed out to staff member.

Absolutely terrible. Avoid at all costs! Paid for a full size burger and it looked to be the size of a kids burger - an 8 year old easily finished it so not sure what exactly the difference is between the nandinos and the normal size. The service was unbelievably slow! New orders were being done and served first and the orders placed earlier were at the bottom of the list. Waited almost an hour for an empty frozen yoghurt tub to be given to us and for a slice of cake to be put into a plate and this was only after we had complained about how long we've waited! The excuse was we're very busy even though there were at least 6 tables empty and people who had ordered after us had been given their meals. Not sure how exactly you can delay putting a slice of cake into a plate and handing over an empty tub - incompetent to say the least.

Terrible service. Ordered dessert after the mains, waited 45 minutes for them to give me an empty tub so I could fill it with frozen yogurt. I went 3 times to ask where my dessert was and it wasn't even that busy. Won't be going back here again. Worst nandos I've been to.

Been here a couple of times, it’s always really dirty and have to tell the staff members to clean the area for sitting, even when they clean it’s half a job where debris and dirt is left.

It was nice and peaceful. Food was delicious nice and warm . You pay for once for drink and refill many times u want to . I loved it

Called to check if we had to wait for a long time and we were advised that they have tables available. We arrived within 15 minutes only to wait by the door for another 15 minutes, there were plenty of free tables however we were not even seen for a good while which was disappointing, same with the food, we ordered promptly online as soon as we sat down, however it took a good 35-40 minutes for the food to be served. Whether they didn't have prep or were understaffed I am not sure, there were a handful of tables free at all times within the restaurant.

The food is great the service is okay. I came with my 2 children and I was sitting in the aisle. However I asked if I can sit on the booth ao the lovely lady asked the manager came back and said they reserved large booking for mothers day which I completely understand. 10 mins later I saw family of 3 sat down on this booth. Say no more
