The best restaurants serving Other european-cuisines food in City of London, Westminster London

A popular spot for drinks near Liverpool Street with pleasant surroundings, especially the decking area in good weather. However, our experience was underwhelming. I ordered the Bee Positive cocktail, which was neither refined nor balanced and arrived rushed after a long wait. The presentation was poor, indicating a lack of care. In contrast, the Pornstar Martini Royale was outstanding. Service was disjointed. If you stand at the bar, you might get served quickly, but table orders can be painfully slow. One waitress, in particular, was notably rude, standing silently looking at us until we moved without any courtesy. The team seemed unmotivated overall. While the location is convenient and attracts a nice crowd, I won't be returning. There are better options nearby.

This restaurant is closed, kaput, no more, finished, gone for good. It has been replaced by a new Korean restaurant.

Very busy on Saturday night with large crowd on pavement so fortunate we had booked a table. We have eaten here before during the daytime. We ordered a bottle of white and food came in good order. Noise levels very high on both sides so hard to hear. At one stage a dark waiter who we had not met, came and without a word took away our bottle from the ice cooler by the table and walked off with it to an area behind the bar. It still had 2-3 glasses in it. I asked our waitress to recover it which she did. I have a nagging thought this was deliberate to increase wine sales as many might not have noticed or realised the bottle was not finished. Hard to justify a 15% service charge for such actions.

Good restaurant and great service. The owner is a delight.

Reservamos Wildflowers después de leer una crítica delirante de Diane Henry. Fue todo lo bueno que la crítica había dicho. El menú era pequeño pero perfectamente ejecutado. Nos encantó cada bocado y lo recomendaría encarecidamente. El personal era amable, servicial e informativo. Sin duda volveremos cuando seamos los próximos en Londres.

Excellent time with my daughter Ashanti our foods was hot and nice the lady who served us was on point we was table no 3 we was moved from the cold part of the restaurant upstairs to downstairs nice and warm 😀 thank you 😊

Nando’s never disappoints, but the female supervisor with long hair on the afternoon shift on 7/2/2025 was curt and rude. When I asked for fresh chips because mine were cold, she responded, ‘I gave you your food 15 minutes ago.’ While I appreciate that my request was accommodated, her tone and phrasing was rude and unprofessional to speak to a customer like that. Additionally, I don’t usually mind if staff don’t do check-ins, but I know it’s a requirement. She walked past me multiple times without checking in, and had she done so within those 15 minutes, I wouldn’t have needed to get up and ask for fresh chips myself. Surprising that this was a supervisor.

Encantador entorno en jardines escondidos en Waterloo. Encontrar este lugar es una aventura, pero aunque el servicio es genial se trata de la comida. El punto positivo era el pan fresco y el lado del té marroquí. El blanco plano no era plano pero era un cappucino. Los huevos revueltos estaban sumergidos en algo que recordaba a una lata de tomates acuosos, era una lucha para comer. La idea del tomate habría funcionado si mucho más espesa, gooey y más herby posiblemente albahaca picada finamente en ella.

He viajado extensamente por todo el mundo, cenando en numerosos países y puedo decir con confianza que mi experiencia de hoy en Hush Restaurant en Holborn fue la peor que he tenido. Llegamos con dos grupos separados, mi grupo de seis y mi personal en un grupo de tres, cada uno con reservas separadas. Para nuestra sorpresa, nos dijeron que una de nuestras mesas no se podía acomodar porque lo habían regalado a dos paseos - en fiestas. A pesar de nuestras reservas, priorizaron caminar - ins sobre nosotros, dejando a mi personal varado sin mesa. Una vez sentado, la pesadilla continuó. La comida tardó demasiado tiempo en llegar, sin comunicación del personal para explicar los retrasos. Cuando preguntamos, simplemente nos dijeron: “Déjame comprobarlo”, y nos dejaron en la oscuridad durante el resto de la comida. El servicio en todas partes era abismal, lento, poco atento y completamente poco profesional. Cuando finalmente logramos hablar con el gerente, nos encontramos con excusas sobre la escasez de personal y que alguien llamara enfermo. Para añadir insulto a las lesiones, cuando expresamos nuestra insatisfacción al final de nuestra comida, la respuesta del gerente fue: “¿Qué esperas que haga? Estoy haciendo todo lo posible. Escribe a Recursos Humanos si tienes algún problema.” Este nivel de desprecio por los clientes es inaceptable. Insto encarecidamente a cualquiera que considere cenar en Hush en Holborn a reconsiderarlo. Hay innumerables otros restaurantes en Londres que valoran a sus clientes y proporcionan el servicio que te mereces este no es uno de ellos. Evita este lugar a toda costa.

Lovely atmosphere, our server was great and shared how we both were from SA. Beautiful food and gorgeous Malva pudding for dessert.

Beautiful kitties in a lovely space, all well taken care of and very clean. You removed your shoes and washed your hands before going through. Tea coffee and cakes available. Lovely lemon cake.
