Great choice for dessert and outdoor seating

Tourist trap. They try to upsell everything without properly explaining the price difference. I ended up paying for a box I didn't need because the seller didn't mention the price difference when getting a box of 8. Pricier macarons were put in and just at the end they mentioned the higher price. Macarons taste was below average, texture was good though.

I bought a box at the shop and then had champagne on the terrace upstairs. Delightful. I wish I knew the name of the lovely woman in the shop and the charming waiter from the terrace. Their personal touch made my hour at Lauduree so enjoyable. ❤️

Janet is so rude and she ask us to wait 1 hours in the line then when reach our turn she told us wait another 45 min and I saw her she is brought another persons from the back side and she seat them in our table !!!

I'm a regular customer to this location for over 9 years, thus was my worst visit. It was raining and upon arrival the waiter down told me there free tables before I reach up another one told us its full, we asked to wait and suddenly again they said there Is a place free. Once we reached there was no customers anyway except us. Although we are alone the waiter's were rude and impatient as if we ruin their free day. Didn't feel welcomed nor comfortable during my stay.

Great location spot in Covent Garden's. Had Pretty outdoor seating. I had a breakfast was yummy.

Just ordered a hot chocolate full of oil I don’t know why this is ridiculous paying 7£ for that…my throat burns after that…. I’m a pastry chef and I know I went to Laduree in Paris no compare at all this is really bad experience!!!!

my wife and i was served by 2 friendly and lovely young ladies this morning ,with curly hair. The food was wonderful. And the French toast is so die for. However this experience was interrupted by this short woman in all black and very short black hair, she came back from the corner and blew the smoke of her vape on my head and next to my pregnant wife which I found disrespectful. As a luxurious place, this is not something an employee should do even in a supermarket. despite that, all was good

Luckily, I only had to wait 10 minutes for a nice spot upstairs. After squeezing past some tables to get to my chair, it was a lovely room to sit. The Ladurée hot chocolate it amazing, though a tad bitter, which you should keep in mind in case you don’t like that. The macarons were to die for, as always. Good price for Ladurée.

Always long queue for tables so went for takeaway macarons instead. Tried some new flavours.

Excellent food, the fries were some of the best in London, and all the patisseries were of an excellent standard, service was brilliant and decoration is very nice. Overall a good experience but definitely expensive.

Great food and atmosphere in the middle of Covent garden

We had an amazing lunch outside on Christmas Eve under the heaters. Service was impeccable. I highly recommend the steak and the croque monsieur, which were delicious. I'm going back again soon.

This was a remarkable lunch for our family of 11 in a stunning decor of La Duree with the Christmas backdrop of Covent Garden. Service impeccable and friendly.

My husband and I attended the cafe, just before they were closing and didn’t really know what to order, two ladies who were working at the cafe, Anita and Malak were amazing, they advised us on what to order and their recommendations were great, they spoke with us really nicely and with respect, which lightened the mood for all of us.

I went here for a hot chocolate and an assortment of macarons with my partner as we went Christmas shopping and it was amazing. Hot chocolate was great, warm and you managed to get at least three cups between you. Our macarons were also great and flavourful, providing enough taste in between sips of your drink. However, we were queuing for nearly an hour trying to get seats inside and once we were in there was plenty of seating to be found. Besides this hiccup, it was a great experience altogether.

We deliberately arrived early in anticipation of a long queue due the Xmas markets. Orders the hot chocolate n pain au chocolat , hot chocolates, isoahan rose lychee based macarons with raspberries n cream (opulent) and the eggs Florentine. Everything was exquisite. Food thoroughly enjoyed. We did find the help a bit on the edge n wasn’t relaxed. They were quite in a hurry to clear the table as soon as they sensed we had finished. But all in all they were polite. Lovely brunch on a chilly Wednesday morning at Covent Garden’s heart. ❤️ PS the booking app is not to be trusted as it indicates they are fully booked till January!

Macaron is its signature product. I bought two macarons (vegan chocolate and Christmas spice)...vegan chocolate was amazing... another one my friend said that it was okay not surprised. The price is reasonable. The staff are friendly. Recommended if you are a big fan of macaron

It was super busy here when I stopped by to buy some macarons as a gift, but the staff couldn't have been nicer, more patient or attentive. They went through the flavours with me at least twice while I chose my selection and were good humoured and friendly.

Exquisite macaroons. Staff was very nice and patient. Also, atmosphere was aesthetically pleasing. Inside and outside. My fav macaroons in the world!!

Macarons are my favourite especially the rose water and pistachio. Always pop in when in Covent Garden. The dine in option is limited and is up a very pokey staircase but the cakes and coffee are delicious just book ahead to avoid disappointment

El chocolate no es chocolate, es agua marrón, no saben lo que es un buen chocolate espeso y denso, lo primero que te dicen antes de darte mesa es que solo cobran con tarjeta, no en efectivo, luego te dan la mesa como si fuera un favor, el sitio está en un buen sitio pero necesitan más calidad, solo hablan inglés muy deprisa y con cara de no entenderte. Falta personal con más idiomas.

Staff are either overworked or just not prepared to provide good service. Bought macarons from this shop and the junior staff was helpful enough but was given dirty looks and comments by the senior staff wearing a brown jacket that she need not gift wrap the boxes of macarons, a lady next to me was just given a length of ribbon to DIY despite asking for her box to be gift wrapped! At the prices they are charging for the macarons, gift wrapping should be the norm rather than even asked. And it’s not polite to quibble behind the counter while the customers are right in front of you!

I'm a devoted fan of Ladurée and have visited nearly all of their London locations, but it's disappointing to note that the staff at the Camden branch is neither friendly nor helpful.

I lived in Paris during my 20's and visit Laduree in London frequently. My preferred restaurant (Harrod's) sadly closed last year, and while I had previously visited the Covent Garden restaurant for dessert and hot chocolate, I had never eaten full meals there as I had in other branches, so I have no idea if our experience was an isolated incident. Hopefully it was. Ladurée has constantly been on the pricier side with smaller portions, but I have always found their service and food quality to be matching that price. It was a very rewarding indulgence! I am especially fond of the breakfast (their brioche french toast is divine), but have also been ordering the vol-au-vent for years with no complaints. You can imagine my shock when I visited the Covent Garden restaurant when it re-opened after lockdown only to find that it had retained it's high price, but not it's quality. My husband and I sat down for a full meal, ordering a vol-au-vent for myself and an onion soup for him (which would have been followed by a Club Sandwich). These two dishes alone already added up to a bill of 43 pounds, but it wasn't worth a single penny of our money. The soup had barely any onion in it and was so hollow my husband couldn't even properly dip his small spoon into it. Naturally, it was already cold. My vol-au-vent, a dish I know very well, didn't come with chopped chicken and a pot of rich mushroom sauce to be poured over it, but instead arrived as a very small circle of pastry (a third of what I usually get) stuffed with chunks of chicken pieces and flooded in a very watery sauce (I assume there was some mushroom there, although I could not see it). There was none of the usual richness to the meal, much less any of the delicious taste that usually justifies the price of eating at Ladurée. We were so disappointed with the meal that we cancelled my husband's sandwich and left without dessert - the prime reason we were there in the first place - and went to finish our dinner elsewhere. As we paid, we noticed the table next to us complaining about the onion soup and being told by the server that "all portions here are small", but also allowing the person to return the dish. Onion soups at Laduree are indeed quite small, but not that degree and certainly never this sloppy. If this is the only Laduree restaurant left in London, that is very unfortunate indeed. I am sure we'll return to Laduree sometime, but it will definitely not be soon and even less so for a full meal. I absolutely love investing in delicious meals, but nothing is more disappointing than spending over 40 pounds to eat poorly and leave hungry. Such a shame!

My mum and I visited for lunch and have only positive things to say about this stunning restaurant!I had requested a table on the roof terrace when booking and asked for the menu to be emailed to me, the staff I spoke to were very helpful with both of these requests.When we arrived the staff were super friendly and were attentive the whole time we were there. The decor was absolutely stunning, I will definitely be returning to sit indoors as it is beautiful. The outdoor terrace was well covered and had heaters so was a very enjoyable and comfortable experience.The food was fantastic! I was expecting a fairly limited menu as I thought it was mainly a sweet treat shop but how wrong I was, there is a large, varied menu with hot drinks, cocktails, light bites, main meals, dessert - I will definitely be back to try more of it! My mum had a Kir Royale and burger, I had a Laduree hot chocolate and chicken club - would recommend all of these.

Ordered home delivery of their macarons for my wife's birthday. Not only did they arrive exactly when scheduled, but the macaron flavours were also incredible. Highly recommended.

Nos recibieron cuando hicimos cola para conseguir una mesa. Se podía ver que estaban ocupados y les dijeron que esperarían una mesa. Todo bien hasta ahora, estábamos felices de esperar ya que no reservamos.Luego nos llevaron a nuestra mesa después de unos 10 minutos y nos dieron menús de inmediato.Esperamos unos 40 minutos para que nos sirvieran hasta que tuvimos suficiente y nos fuimos.Durante este tiempo, las mesas comenzaron a vaciarse, por lo que no estaban demasiado ocupadas y las personas que se habían sentado después de nosotros ya tenían cafés / bebidas servidas.Estábamos muy emocionados de visitar Laduree, pero esta experiencia nos ha decepcionado mucho y nunca volveremos.En su lugar, fuimos a comprar postres en un pequeño y encantador café cercano que estaban felices de tomar nuestro dinero a diferencia de Laduree.

Visitamos Laduree recientemente después de cenar cerca. Si bien era una buena ubicación y bastante concurrida para un viernes, la noche se fue sintiéndose poco impresionado y con una relación calidad-precio muy pobre. Tomamos 4 cafés pequeños y una pequeña porción de brownie y obtuvimos muy poco cambio de 30. No es un lugar al que me apresuraría a volver y supongo que aprovecharía su ubicación.

Had some macrons and they were absolutely delicious. There’s a variety of flavours for you to choose from and most taste great. Nice interior as well. Only downside is the price which is quite high.

The tea’s are amazing, tried the hot chocolate once and it was terrible, very bitter so just stick to the tea here! So disappointed the lemon tart was taken off the menu this year! Please bring it back. The other deserts are ok, the pistachio eclair was recommended to us by the waiter but it was a little dry, no filling inside it. The balcony upstairs is lovely with heaters in winter.

Excelente ubicación, en Covent Garden. Es una tienda pequeña pero muy linda con un personal muy servicial y amable. Ofrecen una amplia variedad de dulces y pasteles franceses preparados con cuidado que llaman la atención al instante. Compré un macarrón rosado mini tarta de 6 libras hecho con merengue, pétalos de rosa, crema de lichi, gele de agua de rosas y frambuesas. Sabía a cielo y lindo como un botón. Perfecto en todos los sentidos. Lo envolvieron en una linda cajita y lo colocaron dentro de la bolsa verde más hermosa.

We went pre theatre on 14th Feb, we decided to have the set menu which we had to request as it was not freely offered, website said free glass of champagne that we had to argue for , we then ordered our meal both mains clearly said side salad and the chicken dish said it had a sauce, means arrived no salad or sauce but chips instead when questioned "it comes with chips" after requesting the waitress looked at the menu a small basic salad appeared but no sauce, the mean was poor quality and the service even worse, we should have argued our points and not paid but we were now in a rush for the theatre, PLEASE DO NOT EAT HERE IT IS A RIP OFF.

Great Spot For Beer, stopped on a cold Friday and see the heat lamps outside and stopped for a drink. Heat lamps not great but great location, took a little while to arrive but did have a few cocktails on order.

Super service and kind people.Tried Signature Laduree patisserie called Plasir Sucre. Perfect and the chocolate melts in the mount. From the terrace you can see the St Paul’s Church and Covent Garden market.I do come this place every time I am in London.

This little café in Covent Garden takes you right into the heart of Paris. The teas, cakes and sweets are exceptionally good, especially the passion fruit/raspberry tart and the hot chocolate. However, on the bad side, it is ridiculously over priced, the place is packed with more tables than it can take, the service is quite bad and the toilets are the dirtiest i've ever seen. But if you're interested in a breathtaking view and a paradise of flavors then you can overlook these stuff. Just don't go with a large group, that will be extremely uncomfortable.

Great location and enjoyed sitting outside watching the world go by. The service is average and food extremely overpriced. All in all enjoyable however wouldn’t return.

This was in the centre of Covent Garden. We visited in early November when the Christmas decorations were being put up. There was a lovely atmosphere in the Piazza and a lot of visitors there on thebSaturdsy. Worth visiting this lace for local entertainment.

Never have I been charged a 12.5% service charge for two cups of coffee, until my recent visit to Laduree!

We stopped here for a coffee/tea and a pasty in the late afternoon. It was a pretty setting as we sat outside next to the big covent garden christmas tree and then the service happened....she had a hard time understanding our order, which was simply 3 pain au chocolat with three teas. We waited about 10 minutes + for our teas to arrive but no pain au chocolat. After following up twice (it's now 30 minutes after our order), she comes to our table and says that there is only 1 pain au chocolat left and nothing else. WHAT? if she had told us when we first ordered, we would have gone elsewhere. Instead, we had to pay the stupid price tag of a tea without getting our full order. When the other waitress came to collect the plates and asked if everything was good, we said no and explained the situation. She apologized and said she would take off the croissant off the bill. Well, she didn't do that....It was ridiculous. Service was horrible and we will never go back.

Expensive cup of warm chocolate in Covent Garden by the Christmas tree. Festive but not great. Thick chocolate but why not hot. Find a better place away from the crowds.

I went to the concession in Selfridges in Birmingham, the link for it doesn’t seem to be on trip advisor yet. The new Laduree concession opened yesterday on the ground floor, I popped in today to get some cakes from another concession- saw the Laduree stand and got super excited! I got Almond, coffee, salted caramel, rose, pistachio and raspberry flavours: I loved them all- wanted to go get more but not exactly healthy and they are pricey.

4 for breakfast, hardly any customers there when we arrived. Had to wait 25 minutes for 3 x Bloody Mary’s and a tea, after chasing. Bloody Mary’s were stuffed with a boatload of cucumber, so that was the only thing we could taste. Tea arrived with no milk, which was requested. Got food shortly after, eggs Benedict and an omelette, all cold, had obviously been ready a while. Milk arrived for tea after we finished the food.

Decided to have a late lunch here after we visited Ladurée in Paris, New York, Moscow for over 50 times. What we got here was just incredibly bad and I would never visit any Ladurée again if this would have been our first experience.

I am sitting at Ladurée. There was a woman smoking cigarettes at the table in front of us and it was blowing my way. It smelled horrendous. I don't want to smell smoke while eating my dessert. The manager happened to be walking by and I said, are they allowed to smoke at the table? He thought I asked if I could smoke, so he brought me an ash tray. I said, no, it's not that I don't want to smoke, it's that I can't handle her smoking and it blowing in my face.

qualidade dos produtos excelente, funcionarios atenciosos e simpaticos. o local é pequeno e sempre cheio mas vale a visita quando estiver passando pela Covent Garden!

The desserts at Laduree are amazing in any aspect but the service is very slow and the prices are relatively high.

Después de esperar en una mesa durante más de 10 minutos para recibir un menú, nos trasladaron a nosotros y a nuestra mesa para que cupieran en otra. Necesitaban más personal. La comida estaba hecha y el té estaba frío. Nos quejamos y se disculparon pero nos sentimos más de 75 por 2 tés, 2 cervezas y 2 hamburguesas de carne era caro incluso para Londres.

Estábamos visitando Londres desde Escocia y llevé a mi hija aquí como celebración por su buen desempeño en sus exámenes. Desde el momento en que subimos, fue un desastre. La mesa en la que nos sentaron estaba sucia, mantel sucio, servilleta y solo la mitad de la mesa estaba puesta. Estuvimos allí para el menú de té de la tarde. El primer camarero no tenía idea de lo que esto implicaba y no pudo ayudarnos. Pedimos té, pero no vino con leche ni limón, solo. Tuvimos que pedirle al camarero que trajera platos. Los sándwiches estaban coloreados pero el pan estaba seco, casi rancio. Los bollos también estaban muy secos y rancios. La crema estaba demasiado batida y cuajada. Los macarrones tenían un sabor muy extraño y también rancio. Mi hija y yo dejamos la mayor parte de la comida. Odiando cualquier forma de confrontación, pagué la factura que era 76. 00 más 9. 50 por el servicio. Desearía no haber pagado.

Attendre et encore attendre ! Pour s’assoir, pour commander, pour manger et même pour payer ! Rien à voir avec les enseignes françaises ! Personnel noyé dans un verre d’eau, aucune organisation, il faut réclamer... bref outre le prestige du nom, rien ne s’y apparente !

We visited on a Sunday afternoon. The lady informed us that the tea room upstairs was closed and that we could only sit outside, which was fair enough. We were given menus and opted for coffee and cakes. These were served promptly and tasted delicious! The Frasier cake was amazing. I would definitely visit Ladurée again, but perhaps not the Covent Garden one as the atmosphere was a little busy, especially when you sit outside. Other than that, the service was very warm and friendly.

Varias veces he visitado este sitio, tanto aquí como en Paris, pero nunca nos han atendido tan mal.

Location is good. Whilst the servers we're reasonably polite, the service was slow and fitful. Overall value for money is poor. Whilst their treats may look good, they we're all pretty disappointing when it came to the eating. You can certainly get better quality and better value elsewhere in London.

I will be going back again, i fell in love with the place and i didn't want to leave.

Tiny tasty pastries bring so much joy with explosive flavors! Lemon, Pistachio and the Chocolate Raspberry flavors were remarkable.

Strolling on a perfect London evening spotting our favorite macaron place is definitely a the best best feeling. Macarons were delicious as usual. The store is quaint but has a lovely atmosphere.

トラファルガースクエアからほど近い、コヴェント・ガーデンにあるラデュレです。一階にはテラス席があり、テラス席の順番待ちが出来ていましたが、2階の屋内の席が希望であることを伝えたところ、運良くテーブルが空いていて、すぐに席に通してもらうことが出来ました。パリのラデュレとはかなり雰囲気が違い、店内に光が多く差し込んで、とても明るいです。メニューはケーキの名前と簡単な説明だけなので、頼みたいケーキが決まっていない場合は、席につくまえにあらかじめ1階の店頭ショーケースに並んでいるケーキの実物を確認しておくとスムーズだと思います。パリのラデュレのケーキは、日本では日本用にアレンジされて「似ている別物」になってしまっていますが、ロンドンではパリと同じケーキが食べられます。

this place is part of a delicate french chain ...love the ones in paris....i recommend this place a bit of parisian charm in central london....suggest u try their macarrons...love their strawberry and vanilla flavours....the best in town reasonable priced

Já tive experiências com a Laduree de diversos países e è sempre bom estar neste lugar! Embora os preços não sejam dos mais atrativos vale a pena pela qualidade dos macarons principalmente! Esta unidade está localizada em um agradável lugar o Covent Garden! Para quem gosta de um docinho não deixe de visitar!

Ik heb hier alleen macarons gehaald. Deze waren echt heel erg lekker! De prijs is wel wat hoger, maar dat vond ik het zeker waard! Veel keuze in verschillende smaken ook.

Very nice macarons and loads of flavour options. Can purchase in nice little gift boxes. Will cost you but they are flipping lovely, and all the way from Paris.

Went there with the wife and family on a recent trip to London. Great place to stop sit on the terrace with a cup of tea or glass of wine and watch the street performers in the Garden. Watch out for the Hot chocolate is basically melted chocolate rally rich and will give you a sugar rush....Bot the staff were great and gave us hot milk to make it better....
