I’m writing this review after a very unfortunate experience during my first trip to London. On Saturday, May 10th, 2025, around 9 PM, my friends and I (3 at the beginning as 2 other were supposed to join us later) decided to go to this Nando’s location for dinner. I had heard good things about the food, but the service we received was shocking—and not in a good way. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted by a woman at the entrance, of Indian background, who was incredibly rude and unprofessional. Without even checking or trying to help, she told us that there were no tables available for five people. Keep in mind, this restaurant has two floors, yet she didn’t make any effort to confirm whether there was really no space. Her attitude was cold and dismissive from the very beginning, and it felt like she just didn’t want to serve us. Thankfully, another staff member came over—he was the complete opposite: warm, respectful, and helpful. If you ever read this, thank you so much—you were the only positive part of this visit! He kindly told us that while there were no tables available at the moment, there might be a chance something would open up in 10 to 20 minutes. We were more than happy to wait. But before we could even settle on that, the same woman came back and insisted that waiting was not allowed and that it wasn’t possible to seat us outside either. We politely suggested that maybe we could sit at one of the outdoor tables, even if it meant squeezing in a bit. But she refused immediately and rather aggressively, saying that a table for four is strictly for four—not five—even though there was clearly space to make it work. At this point, it felt personal. The way she spoke to us and treated us stood in stark contrast to how she interacted with others around us. As a group of young women, we felt judged, looked down on, and frankly discriminated against. There was no kindness, no flexibility, no customer service whatsoever. Instead, there was a clear lack of respect, and a tone that felt driven by jealousy or prejudice. It honestly felt like she just wanted us to leave. We left feeling shocked and humiliated. Luckily, we went to another Nando’s location nearby, where the staff welcomed us with a smile and treated us like valued customers. It was a night-and-day difference, proving that the issue was not with the chain itself, but clearly with this particular staff member and how she chooses to treat certain customers. Nando’s, I sincerely hope you take this feedback seriously. After reading other reviews, it’s clear that similar complaints have been made before—always involving the same kind of behavior from certain staff who seem to think they are above others. This kind of attitude has no place in a customer-facing role. Please address this. No one should be made to feel unwelcome, especially in a city as diverse as London. 0/5

Absolutely disgusting. The worst Nando’s I’ve ever had, I will never be going again! The garlic bread was stale, I got a replacement which was better but took forever! The wings were awful, barely cooked, I asked for them to be done some more and then had to ask twice to get them back. After all of that, they still tasted strange and sort of old?! The sunset burger is usually my favourite thing but the buns were hard as hell. Somehow they’ve ruined it. The chips were the only acceptable thing on my plate. What a shame and a waste of £40. I should have known when I walked in a couldn’t smell an ounce of food being cooked!

Great Piri-piri chicken. The Romanian waiter was super friendly and the prices were very good. Highly recommended in London where it is not easy to find quality food

A restaurant known for chicken has run out of chicken!! Then the employee downstairs says: if you still want chicken, it will take at least 45 minutes to 1 hour. What kind of statement is that? We had the feeling they didn't want to serve us. There were a maximum of 4-5 guests present and the shop was empty. This is not acceptable! The tables we sat at were very dirty and sticky!! We love Nandos, yesterday we went to another one, look at the review I gave them but this store is an insult to the name Nandos!! Never eat here again!

It was a lovely experience, and the location is on the quieter side of Oxford Street. The staff were very helpful; however, there isn’t much space between the tables. As a result, it feels quite cramped, making it difficult to move around, especially if you have young children with you.

Nice area and live vibrant and food is nice

Had a lovely meal at this particular location, came from Florida and have stayed away from eating chicken for months now, however had to taste Nandos!!! Best part, I was able to cart loads of the packet sauces to enjoy that same taste when I get back home...thank you Nandos..your chicken is absolutely delicious 😋 😀 😊

I recently visited Nando’s and had an absolutely terrible experience. The food was mediocre at best, but what made it even worse was the incredibly rude supervisor. She was dismissive and unprofessional, even going as far as to imply that the only option she could offer us was leftover food. Her attitude was appalling, and she spoke to us in a way that was disrespectful and condescending. It honestly felt like we were a burden for simply asking about our order. It’s shocking that a place like Nando’s, which prides itself on customer service, would have someone like her in charge. I won’t be coming back, and I wouldn’t recommend this location to anyone. Vabeena was awesome though.

The experience at this location was absolutely horrible. The manager there should not be managing a restaurant, she was unprofessional and lacks customer service experience. The only good experience we had was with Vabeena, she was fantastic.

Extremely Disappointed – Would Not Return I recently visited Nando’s Saint Christopher Place with my family and friends who were visiting from Canada, and we had a very upsetting experience that completely ruined our evening. We arrived with a baby in a buggy and politely asked for a table where we could keep the buggy close by. The manager was unhelpful and dismissive, insisting we could only be seated on the lower ground floor and that buggies were not allowed down there due to “policy.” With no other option and it getting late, we reluctantly agreed and carried the baby in our arms downstairs. We placed a large order — eight meals, six of which were quarter chickens. When we asked what parts we’d receive, we were told it would be a mix of legs and breasts and that we can’t choose . To our surprise, all six quarter chickens were dry breast pieces. I politely asked the manager if we could swap at least two or three for leg pieces. Her response was aggressive and dismissive — she told us bluntly that she wouldn’t “throw food in the bin,” that they were “running out of legs,” and that this is what we get. It felt like we were being served leftovers — and more importantly, we were being spoken to with absolutely no respect. She was confrontational, completely inflexible, and unwilling to even listen to our concerns. Her behavior was so inappropriate that even a nearby customer stepped in and asked her to speak to us properly. It took us over 10 minutes of back-and-forth just to get the most basic level of decency from her — and even that didn’t happen. To make matters worse, we noticed that the tables next to us, who arrived after us, were served with leg pieces — clearly disproving her excuse. The whole interaction felt discriminatory, as if we were being treated differently for not “fitting the image” — something we couldn’t help but feel when compared to how others were being treated. Whether that’s intentional or not, it’s unacceptable. We spent over £200 on a meal that left us upset, frustrated, and feeling completely disrespected. This was meant to be a warm family dinner, and instead, it was a horrible experience that none of us will forget — for all the wrong reasons. Avoid this location. Service is rude, unaccommodating, and absolutely not worth your money.

Excellent time with my daughter Ashanti our foods was hot and nice the lady who served us was on point we was table no 3 we was moved from the cold part of the restaurant upstairs to downstairs nice and warm 😀 thank you 😊

Estaba haciendo recados por la ciudad en Londres y tenía hambre, pero no tenía tiempo ni energía para sentarme y comer adecuadamente en un restaurante de lujo, pasé por Nando's y le di una oportunidad. Esta ubicación era más pequeña que otras, pero tenían asientos al aire libre y el clima era espectacular, así que me llevé una mesa afuera. El asistente en el mostrador tomando órdenes no era el más rápido / más eficiente de todos ellos, pero, de nuevo, yo no estaba allí para una experiencia culinaria. Una vez que pedí mi comida fui a la fuente a llenar mi vaso con refresco y luego me dirigí a mi mesa. Mi pedido llegó en breve y era justo lo que estaba esperando. El mismo buen carbón consistente y la parrilla del pollo, bien condimentado y añadió su famosa salsa Peri - Peri. ¡Todavía es un GRAN pollo! Los lados de maíz y papas fritas lo convirtieron en un combo de relleno. La comida fue breve, pero en realidad me gustó. A lo largo de los años Nando's sigue ofreciendo un lugar de aterrizaje seguro cuando solo necesita alimentos confiables, de buena calidad y simples.

0/10 – The Worst Restaurant Experience of My Life We had just come back from H. Samuel, where my fiancé had just ordered my engagement ring—the most special moment of my life. Me and my cousin were hungry afterwards and wanted to debrief over a meal, so we settled for Nando’s. We were greeted by a staff member named Ammoor, who led us downstairs and happily gave us a booth. Everything was fine—until two people came downstairs saying it was their booth. By this point, I had already ordered my food, so moving would have caused a mix-up. But instead of making a fuss, we all agreed to just share the booth and make it work. Apparently, that wasn’t good enough. Nobel then came over and asked us to move. I firmly told him no. We were settled, food ordered, and the issue had already been sorted between us. But instead of accepting that, he left and returned with two more staff members, Ammoor (the same one who greeted us) and Merve, who demanded we move. At this point, I felt completely ganged up on over their own mistake. The same person who had welcomed us was now pushing us out. It was ridiculous. I was so frustrated that I just asked for a refund and left. Why should a customer be punished for the restaurant’s lack of organisation? Absolute joke. Would never go back. 0/10. Avoid.

This might be the most funny review I ever made! We went in today for a quick lunch as we were around shopping for our 9 months old dauther, I asked them a cup of hot water as I needed to warm her milk up amd they said it was not possible. I fully understand cross contamination policy, but why they were unable to being a cup of water on the table? safety? I am wondering how they would serve a tea if a customer ask for it… Hamza was the guy who told us it was not possible, we had to rush our meal and leave as baby was hungry, Starbuck next door had no issue at all giving us some hot water, considering we weren’t buy food or coffee from them. It was extremely disappointing, I worked as a waiter year ago and never refuse to “help” a baby.

Chicken super tender, corn was perfectly cooked, rainbow slaw was crunchy and seeds were extra flavour, rice was good but peas sounded more delish , breeze with the door was my only complaint. White Salad sauce I would buy to use . Refillable tea was easy to drink and healthy as a choice.

Very busy restaurant especially at dinner time

First of all, They gave us a table in their underground space. Very tight place and the waiter disappeared and didnt take any order. We had to change our table and sit outside and then we had to hit the counter order and pay for the plates. Ordered chicken boneless plate which contains 4 pieces of boneless chicken chips and garlic bread. The food was alright.

Had a dinner with my friend few weeks ago. Food was decent, a bit cold on arival. Service was okay..

This is a nandos I come into regularly as it’s local to my work, and the workers are always hostile and disrespectful. I’ve come in today, the worker has told me there’s a 25minute wait, so I’ve then asked for a takeaway instead. Not even 5 minutes later, another customer comes in and gets a seat right away. I’ve seen them do this quite often with the staff lying about having seats downstairs and refusing to give seats, making the customers wait a long period of them. Whilst ordering my food, the food took over 30minutes to make, even thought it was simply loaded fries which I had asked for. In the end I’d asked for a refund, as I was running late for work, just frustrating. I had random customers asking me if I’m still waiting for my food because of how long it was taking, there were customers who ordered full meals AFTER me, who had got there takeaway meals before me. I will not be visiting this nandos again

Best restaurants to have good food. We tried new dish introduced this month named Garlic cheese Peeta with peri peri sause and it was amazing flavour.

The staff were all very rude. Lied about the wait time and told us 15 minutes but then she told the people behind us 45 and the app also said the same. Would not let us wait on the premises, even outside the building. When our table was ready, we was told “table 15” and was left to go and find it ourselves. We’re not from the area so would’ve appreciated some help locating the table. The food came and I asked for extra peri salt which seemed to be a problem and the waitress huffed. On a positive note, the food was lovely. One of the best Nando’s I’ve had so there was one good thing- needed it to be honest. Would’ve been 1 start otherwise.

As an avid Nando’s customer who attends their restaurants all over the uk. For such a prestigious local just off Bond Street this service was awful i ordered my food the severe delivered to another table left my food at another customers table went upstairs and continued about her work then 5mins later came back to the customers table took the food and tried to the give me the exact same food that was at their table. I refused the food and then she took the food upstairs to transfer the food onto a different plate and have a different server bring it to me. This is awful Nando’s do better. I need answers.

Nando’s is a really different and delicious fast food! The marinated chicken is excellent, and I particularly recommend the medium sauce, which adds just the right amount of heat. The sides are also top notch, with plenty of tasty choices. The app makes ordering super easy, and it's great to have it delivered to your table. If you’re craving tasty chicken and a cool experience, Nando’s is a great option!

Great time had at Nandos St Christopher's place isn't fault it great food great service food arrived quickly and requested it to be temperature hot and it did.Friendly courteous staff and will visit it again when in town shopping.

Food quality not the same as it used to be.

The food was not all that but the staff were amazing.

I love Nando’s, but there are some pigeons who love it too. Take care of your plate so they can come when you are distracted and eat directly from it. I love the chicken, the variety of sauces, spices, side dishes and everything.

Went for dinner at this Nandos on our son’s birthday. Was greeted by Alegria who was very polite and welcoming. Then was served by Rodrigo as we could not order the beanie burger online due to only last few remaining. They quickly checked if there are any left and luckily we had a couple. Food took a little time but lovely Sara was quick enough to apologise and offer complimentary side which was nice gesture. All in all you cannot fault this restaurant and the staff are a real asset to this place, all lovely and working cohesively. Food was amazingly so congratulations to kitchen team too. Keep up the good work guys, will definitely visit again when around there.

Love chicken butterfly and the garlic bread

Waiter advised could not fulfil order of chicken wings as oven was out of order, butterfly chicken provided instead was stringy and tuff as if overcooked and tasted of lemon rather than extra hot that we ordered.

Got my fully loaded chicken today and it was amazing ! Lady stuff was so kind and thoughtful x can’t wait to come back again ! Arshya

I have been to a few Nandos all over London and this was the worst one. Staff are just walked around waiting for other members to do the job, while the food is on counter getting cold. I will definitely will not be going there again.

There was a 20 minute wait and I don't mind that but I wasn't allowed in because my phone battery had died so I couldn't register on their system. I ate elsewhere.

Tasteless over cooked chicken, sides were cold without peri peri. Skip this Nando’s and go to another one.

Service was good, staff were friendly. The food was actually the worst Nandos I've had. The burger bread was semi-stale, and the chicken didn't seem marinated, just sauce added. The restaurant was way too cramped too. We had to move seats as we were that close to the table next to us.

I usually go Nandos very often as my work has a partnership with them, my boss gave me a voucher which it can be used in any nandos in the uk. However this specific nandos when i went to order, the manager named “Sarah” was speaking with so much attitude which was no need saying they dont accept the voucher. I was explaining that i have been using it often but she didn’t want to listen to anything i have to say. She had absolutely ruined my day just with the way she was speaking to me, its crazy to see people dont enjoy their job and decide to treat customers this bad. By far THE worst nandos ive been to. I wouldnt recommend it what so ever. She also made my friend repeat her twice when the first she let her order the whole thing then she replies with “repeat your order” in a demanding way and with attitude, so disgusting.

Very sorry to give 3 stars for service especially as I love Nando’s and visit very frequently. I was with my 6 years old child on a table outside, I ordered 2 bottomless drinks and received 2 boiling hot glasses, presumably out of the dishwasher. I went to put in some ice to cool them but there was no ice on the machine, hence I asked at the till if I could have 2 not-hot glasses, I was told that all glasses are hot. Ok, understand. I see some smaller glasses for a different drink (plenty of them) and asked if I could have those instead but I was told that they are only for other drinks and she wasn’t allowed to give them out… which baffled me, since it’s bottomless drinks and they certainly could spare 2. Now, I am not really difficult but I’ve worked in restaurants myself for many years and first of all, I would not take hot glasses to a table, if I did I’d provide ice and if my customer would ask for help I’d go get the ice myself instead of telling the customer “there’s another machine downstairs, you can go there” well knowing the customer can’t leave the child alone. Great Service and food was on point. We arrived relatively late but we're not rushed to finish our meals. The waitress who seated us was very attentive as was the other team members. We had some great wine to accompany our food. I'll be back for sure next time I'm in town One downside was the washrooms these need to be cleaned on a regular basis. They were not clean at all

Most disappointing Nandos that I have visited so far. The place was very short staffed. Once we sat down we were told that there were no wings and most type of chicken had gone as well. There was no ketchup and the ice-cream machine was broken too. Food took quite a long to arrive.

A fantastic spot for lunch or dinner! We often struggle to find a good place to eat when shopping on Oxford Street. Just last week, we discovered a nearby Nando's. The food was excellent, and the service was outstanding.

I don't recommend dining here at all. As a preference, I asked for the skin to be removed from my chicken. This was met with such resistance from a lady called Paulina. I can only assume she was the manager as she was dressed differently to the other staff. She then proceeded to tell me not to visit that branch again if I wanted something different that was on the menu. Her attitude was disgusting and I'll take my business to other Nando's where prefences are taken into account.

The worst experience of my daughter's life!!! She ate the peri-peri chicken and as soon as she left she started feeling sick to her stomach. She was very ill for two days, with stomach ache, nausea and vomiting. Never again at Nando's! Strongly not recommended!!!

The place is heaven for chicken lovers! Orders are fast and easy, staff is helpful. They also have heaters for the tables outside. Food was tasty, sides are good. I highly recommend chicken wings if you’re really hungry. Good stuff!
