Top place! Nice food option. Very classy, very demure. Good selection of cocktails. Nice staff. I love when venues have moisturiser in the toilets… that is just next level. Prices totally acceptable

We are regular customers of this restaurant since it’s close to our home, but yesterday it felt like we were being punished. There were tables available, yet we were placed in a small room where no one else was dining and where there was no service. I had to get up three times to call the waiter. This is not acceptable.

Lovely ambiance. Great food and wonderful service. Would definitely go back and bring a friend.

Small restaurant (not really a pub) with very good pizza (among other things). A bit different to your average brunch place. A little pricey but if you can manage that then a good different option for lunch.

Waiter "it's 25 of each" when asked why is the cocktail so short. 14 pounds for the smallest negroni. Won't come here again.

Pizza had approximately 3 pieces of pineapple on and next to no ham so very disappointing. Even 2 scallops for a “small plate” was pushing things a bit far! The tables were extremely close to each other (I was practically touching elbows with the diner to my left) It was very dimly Lit. Our server looked less than impressed to be working that evening, he was disinterested. Service was incredibly slow as well and we had to find someone to make payment as we needed to be leaving! On the plus side the wine was delicious.

I was actually quite impressed with the food at the pub - got a salad and Napoli style pizza + burratta panzerotta with salsa, all of which was very tasty.

The manager Karolina is very rude to her staff I feel very bad for them absolutely ruined my experience in the last year the immense change of staff has absolutely ruined this place much better places down the corner

Went there with my friend for our annual Christmas Sunday roast. I couldn't believe what we were served on our plates. So disappointing; the roast was poor.

Our waiter was absolutely brilliant - I didn’t get his name but made the experience 5 stars. The only thing that was a bit odd was the lack veg on the roast…

Sadly not a good experience. The service was incredibly rushed - we were just enjoying our starters when they tried to bring out our mains. The food itself was partially inedible - not fresh or tasty in any way.

A lovely pub restaurant with great atmosphere, but unfortunately the service was not good at all. We weren't even showed to our table, rather just rudely pointed in the direction of a table. And it was a special occasion we had booked for, so we felt somewhat disappointed. Wine order was completely forgtotten and we had to follow up twice. Service was generally very slow - it was 45minutes before we even had opportunity to order anything, we just felt ignored. And then being charged the 15% service charge left a sour taste... Food was also just ok for the price point, the pizzas on the next table looked lovely - wished we'd ordered those instead. Will go back for a drink, but may give the food a miss next time!

Fantastic night, our servers were great, food was great. There was an assistant manager in a dark jacket who was incredibly rude to me and I watched him be pretty rude to a few others - I’m guessing he was stressed on a New Year’s Eve, it wasn’t ideal! Rest of the night was fantastic though.

It was my first experience at The Orange, and unfortunately, it did not live up to its price. The service was sluggish and it was challenging to get the attention of the staff, which seemed understaffed given the high volume of clients. We ordered beef roasts, and it was disappointing as the meal was cold and appeared to have been prepared hours in advance, served without any attempt to reheat it. It was not a good meal. Additionally, the children's menu was lacklustre. They could easily offer simple options like a cheeseburger and fries. Furthermore, it should be made clearer that the regular menu is not available on Sundays. The waitress seemed exhausted and lacked patience while we tried to find something suitable for our child to eat. I aimed to provide a great experience for my guest, but it turned out to be quite the opposite, ultimately disappointing.

I have been to this restaurant several times over the years. Tonight realizing it has had its day, it now feels like it’s resting on its former reputation! Not worth the money, food below par, service incredibly average… skip this restaurant! Could be amazing, it’s not. Shame!

The restaurant was good, but the manager had a very bad attitude. He was clearly racist because I am Asian. All I did was call the staff to pay the bill, which was not rude at all. Yet, he insisted that I apologize to the staff, even though I had done nothing wrong. It was a blatant act of racism🤬😡

This is a pub but it charges West End prices. The food was OK but nothing particularly special. My 2 friends had the roast chicken - it was fine but £20 without vegetables. About £32 with. I had the pork and that was £25 without vegetables and ££37 with. That's quite expensive for a pub. We were rushed off our table after an hour and half even though it was booked for 2 hours. We moved downstairs and had another drink (£24 for 2 x medium size glasses of wine). This is an expensive pub - arguably one of the most expensive in London. So it was rather disappointing to say the least, that the service didn't match the cost. AND UNFORGIVABLY, there was no lavatory seat on the lavatory, I spoke to the manager about it and his response was pretty pathetic - he has tried to fix it but no luck, he was expecting men to go in there but hadn't put a sign on, and he didn't know when it was going to be fixed. He could, with some initiative and pride in wanting his pub's facilities to match the price, gone to B&Q or any hardware shop this morning and bought a new one. I said that for the calibre of pub (and price of their drinks and food), one could reasonably expect a loo seat in the lavatories. He was not apologetic. I think this sums up the pub. Expensive, arrogant, patronising, mediocre and I wouldn't recommend.

This was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had during in London. We were seated at a table upstairs for dinner, I ordered a gin martini. The waitress served me a shot of warm gin in a dirty glass. I thought she might have misunderstood my order so I reiterated it to her and asked to remake the drink. She took the drink back and returned with the exact same drink, a warm shot of gin. My seat faced the kitchen/bar area, and I could see the fake bartender and other servers mocking me for sending the drink back. It was embarrassing. If the bartender didn’t know how to make a martini, they should said so and I would have ordered a beer. I’m pretty low maintenance and would Never do something like this, but charging someone 16.5 pounds for a shot of warm gin is egregious, I felt the need to warn you all - DO NOT ORDER COCKTAILS FROM THE RESTAURANT

Really poor service unfortunately, waited nearly 45 mins from our booked time to get seated and then left to flag down waiters to get water and orders taken. Overbooked it seemed but poor communication when inside and staff visibly stressed out.

We ate at the pub and had great gnocchi. Sitting upstairs was cozy and a nice atmosphere for dinner. We did not sample the cocktails but we did have a nice red wine off the list.

I was disappointed by everything: poor service, poor food, no Christmas decorations or Christmas menu. The service was slow and we did not feel welcome. The wine we ordered was not available and it took ages to get a bottle of wine up from the cellar. This was a Christmas meal for friends but the pub had no decorations other than left over from Halloween and a short string of Christmas guirlande over the bar. Some food portions were too small ( hake) whilst others (chicken) were too big. ( half a chicken!) Sides of greens were nothing but few leaves of different cabbage, cold and sloppy. Overall very disappointing and over priced for what the experience.

Cute pub but I got the scallops small plate which was 11.5£ and I got one (1) singular scallop in the middle of a small round plate. One scallop. 11.5£. 😐

Great spot and very smart. It has a varied menu. Only downside was that they didn’t have our first or second choices on the main menu so had to choose a lesser dish. They said they would add a side dish of roast potatoes as compensation though when the bill arrived this item was added. So a disappointment on that front.

Very good. We have been coming here every Xmas for about 14 years, as lunch after Xmas shopping. The place has been recently renovated and looks really nice. The staff are very friendly, and we had a great table upstairs. The food is , as always, excellent, roast beef done perfectly with great wines, served with very competent and friendly staff. Can't fault this place at all and we will be back again.

I have been to The Orange on multiple occasions and this time the service was extremely poor with food coming at different times and meals not arriving.

in previous 2 years have enjoyed an afternoon drink here and decided to try Dinner this year. Very disappointing. Service was very average, Food did not meet expectations e.g. all dishes extremely salty, Chicken, pizza to the point of almost inedible. £12 for a single small scallop! Begrudgingly paid the 15% service charge. Shame as is a great location and a pub. Have dined several times in the 'Coachmakers Arms' in Marleyborne which is in the same Group. But 'The Orange' is a poor imitation.

Me and my partner ordered a pizza and two beef roasts. The pizza was fantastic, confirming as an Italian myself, but the roast was just not what I expected meaning: 4 small pieces of beef which were chewy, two potatoes and a Yorkshire pudding which was too sweet for my likings all for the price of 28£ per roast which I just do not think is value for money.

Food was very good. Service was also good but 15% tip is a first even for London.

Amazing food and wine, the waitress (Megan) was fabulous, very knowledgeable about the wines and just so lovely Pizza was incredible, couldn’t fault any of it!!! We will be back x Rosie and Vicky

We came here to celebrate Thanksgiving as we just moved from the US nearby. Highly disappointed given a few things that happened. Highly disappointed as I wanted this to be our go to family spot!

Nice ambience but very short-staffed.

Very bad experience. Injured myself due to extremely poor lighting on the stairwell which meant I tripped, fell and twisted my ankle, resulting in a fracture to my fibula and a chronic sprain to the main ankle ligament. Nearly 7 months on, I have had to spend over £1000 on medical care and physio to treat this, I have been unable to take part in half marathons and my place in the London 2025 Marathon remains uncertain. I raised this with the team at The Orange and was told the senior management had received my email and would be in contact, but they never followed up nor showed any concern for what had happened. Most importantly, they did not address how they might rectify this and ensure it didn’t happen to other patrons.

We went to dinner. Very busy place with two floors. The food was very good, the only problem was the long wait between the starters and the main dishes. I recommend the scallops, grilled shrimp, meat in general and the pizzas.

Food subpar and wine list poor, for the prices. Worst, the slow and gloomy service. Our waiter, drinking at the bar, clearly bothered couldn’t be least welcoming and left without notice. The next waiter confused about our order. Embarrassing, our guests won’t go back nor agree with our prior suggestion to hold there a large party. A shame as it’s been nicely refurbished and used to be a good happy casual restaurant.

Ambiance at the orange, much like many other cubitt house pubs was great. However the food is most definitely decent at best for the price you are paying. Their pizzas which are known to be the speciality, were subpar. Soggy bread bruschetta paired w potentially reheated focaccia that was chewy but perhaps unintentionally. Tiramisu was okay however the coffee was not well distributed, leaving a few bits that not be eaten. If you fancy a 3.50 Diet Coke, this may be the spot.

I typically always do Sunday roast at a cubitt pub, mostly the builders arms or The Orange. Today was an unfortunate lunch. I ordered pickles as a starter and 30mins later we were still waiting for said pickles. Apparently they were given to another table. The waiter should have picked up on the empty table. The pickles were comped which is good of the restaurant. I will go back

New refurbishment works look amazing! Great place, great food!

On the whole still a great pub. Lively and fun… however some of the food dishes were not as good as expected or pricing.. small plate lamb chops and chard salad were just ok.

We used to come here for many years and returned expecting the same great food what a huge disappointment.From walking through the door we were told by an extremely rude man your tables upstairs.I asked if there was anything downstairs he said no and walked away doing a hand gesture like he was on a tv show.We hadn’t a clue where we were going and when got upstairs had to ask where we were to be seated so unwelcoming and unprofessional.Then we get to the food we both ordered pizzas my husband ordered the fennel one and I ordered tomato & proscuito.Mine was like I’d poured tomato puree over it and was inedible my husbands was so dry and disgusting we left both.The worst food and welcome will never return.We used to live it here what a huge shame.Eveeyone around us were complaining we chose to just leave and never return.

From start to finish this is a safe bet for a great time. We sampled a range of starters and some of th best wood fired pizza I have had in a while. It was all on point. Will be back soon.

Yesterday I visited The Orange Pub for an early lunch. We were a group of four and seated upstairs. There was no where to hang coats and the dining room was cold. The menu on the website was different from the menu we were given when seated. A couple of the pizzas that were ordered were barely warm. Left underwhelmed and having spent a lot. Very disappointing.

I guess I was thrown because I got what I didn't expect. So I was embarrassed in front of my guests by that. I should have researched it better I used to go on and off over a number of years but it had changed out of recognition. Used to be sophisticated casual with classy food. I recall it as buzzy and lively without the excessive noise and boom boom boom of a bass line from music downstairs and the young and beautiful draping themselves loudly around tables. Now it’s that rather corny attempt to jazz up pizzas etc with unusual toppings That said. The food was delicious. As a party of four we shared several very interesting starters. Then very well cooked unusually topped pizzas. Service was adequate but dull and dour. A rather tired waitress. But adequate. Overall by all means go there to enjoy the thriving trendy folk of Pimlico but not if you valued the more sophisticated food and smart casual feel before it was “improved”. Noisy.

Lovely location and interiors. We went for drinks and discovered the upstairs garden balcony which was a beautiful setting for drinks.

Well below average food. Starter was greasy, gristle, and near inedible. Service staff I assume were on minimum wage school holiday jobs. Why bother running this sort of establishment ?!

Kitchen was backed up and we had to wait over 1.5 hours for any food to come out and when the starters did come out they were tepid at best. The staff were very apologetic, but it was a pretty miserable experience

Went for Sunday lunch with family last weekend. Had heard good things having previously had an average experience, and wanted to give it a second chance, however we all left slightly underwhelmed. Ordered the family style roast for four, but when it came, the chicken was lukewarm, there was only 2 thin slices of beef, and the two slices of pork were mostly fat, and therefore not much meat to eat on it. Not much veg either. Perhaps serving it in a cold skillet does not help keep the food warm. There was however, plenty of roast potatoes which were nice and crisp. Overall it was very average, verging on disappointing. Would I go back again? No, probably not.

The constant uncertainty around my meal became a major distraction throughout lunch. Half the time I watched five people eat, and the other half, they watched me. The experience was frustrating and completely avoidable. The staff handled the situation poorly, and I never received a direct apology or any gesture, like a snack or drink, to make up for the delay. It's such a shame, because the food was fantastic.

Very good roast lunch last Sunday. Good service and great food. I will be back. However they don’t take cash. Edit: I cam back here on Saturday 9/14/24 with 3 people. Had a great roast (family style) for 4. Minor things - could have had more veg for 4 people. Only greens and not enough. Carrots would have been nice. Also, we had to ask for steak knives. Good food and good service though. Great location and nice interior.

The service was lovely with a very friendly waiter, and the ambience was nice. We are local so come here often. The restaurant was very inflexible about pizza toppings which I found frustrating. I asked for a margherita pizza with pancetta (offered on another pizza alongside pineapple and gorgonzola) for my son. The waiter said they were asked for this all the time and couldn't do it. If your customers are asking for something all the time, perhaps you should take it on board? The other dishes were average to good.

Fabulous food and service, especially loved the mini pizza style breakfasts mmmmm - we found it a great location for shopping in Sloane Square and a short stroll to visit Batterseas new attractions

Went for food so did not stay at the hotel. A premium feel to the pub and much more than just a pub: the first floor dining room is beautiful and the food was excellent. Best steak I’ve had in a long time. Service was friendly and attentive.

Great pub, shame about the food. Let’s start with the positives – the pub itself is quite nice. Good atmosphere, great selection of beers, and the service is decent enough. So, if you’re coming here for drinks, you’re in the right place. However, if you’re planning to eat, well… temper your expectations. I’ve been here a few times before, and I used to really enjoy the pizza. Unfortunately, it seems things have gone downhill. My guess? They’ve swapped the pizza chef, and the change is anything but for the better. The pizza is no longer what it used to be. And the kitchen? Let’s just say accuracy isn’t their strong suit. Case in point: they advertise red prawns on the menu, but what arrives is an Argentine prawn, which is… not quite the same, to put it mildly. Attention to detail, especially in menu descriptions, is crucial. In summary: Yes to the pub, no to the restaurant.

Popped in for a quick drink. Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff and amazing pizza’s!! The dough was crispy and the toppings were fresh and generous. Since I have been back 4 times to try each different flavour and all of them were delicious. Highly recommend and hats off to the pizza chef

A most magical meal! The Orange has been remodeled since my last visit in Dec. The dining spaces are warm and comfortable and the menu is beautifully seasonal and deliciously prepared. Trust your server/host/waitperson with recommendations for daily specials or cocktails. From the seasonal tomato starter, to the grilled mackerel daily to the warm flourless chocolate cake with sour cherries standard, everything was perfect!

The service was fantastic at The Orange. The food was fantastic! The starters, specially the burrata with peaches and hazelnuts were phenomenal. My favorite dish was the squid with za'atar, which was absolutely delicious. My friend, who had never been to The Orange, was impressed and blown away by the food plus the great service! A big thank you to all of the staff, including Sang our lovely server, for such a memorable and lovely experience.

Easy booking online, great service from staff in bar and restaurant. Our food was excellent, the steak was exactly as requested (medium rare) and the pasta (with peas and beans) was delightful. The aircon was a little powerful (we sat upstairs) so maybe check before you sit down? Great value for money too, thank you for a fun evening!

We hosted a dinner for our board members and a number of external stakeholders at the Orange last week, and to say we were impressed is an understatement! The Ebury Room was just the right size for our group of 20 - there was room to mingle over pre-dinner drinks, and space to move around between courses. The quality of the food was exceptional, and I had lots of feedback in particular about the bread that was served post-entree - wow! The standout performance, however, was from the team - they were so attentive to our needs, and so obliging. We will definitely keep the Orange in mind for future events, thank you!
