Nando's in City of London, Westminster

This is one of my favorite restaurants all over the world. Food is excellent, service as well, what about the taste? The best all tims! With a variety of options that suits all tastes! I would like specially to thank Jordana for helping me preparing the table and get it cleaned quickly , gave me the option to order via QR code .. as I mentioned I can’t go upstairs due to pregnancy she totally understand and stand long. Big thanks for her!!

I enjoyed my experience in this Nando’s , Nando’s has been a regular spot for me and my friends , but in my experience in this place , William was absolutely amazing and took great care of our group. We will definitely be coming back! Thank you so much to the team , and I want to thank Blossom because she was very helpful and friendly.

Amazing people, amazing service, amazing food and just one of the best restaurants ive ever been to. One of the servers came and checked up on us and gave us great recommendation every so while... Just amazing!

Would give 0 if I could… I completely forgot after we came here about a year ago just how bad the chicken was and it all came back once we ate it again. I got a half chicken & chips. Struggled to finish both and has actually put me off Nando’s completely!! How can you ignore all these terrible reviews, reflection of really bad management & if I’m honest with these standards I’m actually surprised you are running. The chicken had horrible red bits of blood, was chewy and did not taste fresh at ALL! The chips genuinely tasted like frozen ones, horrible after taste and again not fresh at all. Come on, you’re in Bayswater! A place you would least expect such terrible quality of food! The lady actually asked me at the end how I felt about the food, I was honest and said I didn’t enjoy it at all because I was that disappointed. My dad also tried and completely agreed! The lady offered to get another chicken saying it was a bad one which of course I couldn’t think of anything worse as I knew it would be exactly the same! She said she was sorry and that she’d tell the manager, I watched her and she said nothing to him and they carried on with service as normal. Clearly you do not care about customer service & that you are building a terrible reputation. After that second experience, I will NEVER be returning again and strongly advise everyone else not to! I wish I took pictures so you could see for yourself. It truly put me and my family off having nandos ever again which is such a shame as I know other branches aren’t like this but it was genuinely that bad!!

Food is good, portion sizes vary a lot though, I don't know if it's because of shrinkflation but butterfly chicken and fries side size has gotten noticeably smaller. Also tables upstairs are very wonky. Particularly table 23. Staff is very friendly plus tables near window are great.

The worst nandos I've ever been to. I've been to nandos in 3 different countries including here in the UK (2 different cities) and all was very authentic and very nice. However, this branch failed to even meet the bar minimum by any chance. I have paid £25 for lunch for one person and the experience was horrible. Food wasn't very good in general, the rice was horrible in taste and was very oily. Salad was tasting horrible and the chicken wasn't fresh along with so many blood clots. The guy was about to scam me for £50 (thankfully I remembered before leaving the cashier and took it back from him).

By far the best Nando’s branch, very clean and the food is fresh every time. Special mention to Freddie who was very friendly and approachable, he delivered top notch customer service. I couldn’t help but notice how he meticulously kept the sauces/drinks area/tables clean. Nando’s is very lucky to have him. Thank you Freddie!

Do not waste your time at this nandos! Poor service, takes a very long time and the food was poor quality! Be warned!

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE AND TERRIBLE MANAGEMENT!!! I have been to many Nandos before and this was my first time trying Nandos Bayswater since I just moved here in Westbourne Grove and I thought I would be a regular in this branch since it's a minute walk from where I live. I already know how it works so when I stood by the entrance, the staff could see me but no one was attending to me so I decided to just choose a table number so I can go ahead to the counter to order since there are lots of empty tables anyway on both floors (upstairs and downstairs). To my surprise, the male manager with blonde hair asked if I was doing takeaway and I said I am sitting in and he told me to go back to the front door and wait for someone to take me to a table. I was already waiting there for another 15 minutes, I could see lots of empty tables and yet when the female waitress approached me, I told her I am still waiting to be taken to a table then a couple came in the door and she decided to just ignore me and went straight to taking the couple to their seat. I don't know if it was because I was Asian and the couple were Caucasians but I was really humiliated so I just left. Looking at the horrendous reviews here from people who experienced the same, I won't ever go back to this branch again.

We waited 30 minutes to be seated after the staff told us our table would be ready in 5. Then we waited another 30 minutes for our food, while we didn’t even get glasses. One portion came 15 minutes before the other one and only after we asked for it (and for the glasses). The staff was really confused when we asked for glasses, like he didn’t understand what we meant. The tables next to us were dirty and nobody put away the dishes after the guests left. The food was also not that good (the chicken was dry and the mashed potatoes too).

Love the food as I'm in my 60ths and not psychic I fond the way they treat you if your not familiar with the app system as a hindrance what's wrong with taking my order on a pad as It was not that busy a bit off understanding would not go a miss

ALSO, MANAGER DIEGO IS THE WORST PERSON EVER!!!!!!! HE WAS VERY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!! DON’T KNOW HOW HE EVEN BECAME A MANAGER!!!!!! GENERALLY, AVOID THIS NANDO’S AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!! THIS PLACE IS TAKING THE PISS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Took soo long for the food to arrive. Might as well go on an hour long walk and come back.

This location had good service in the past. Today I had the most unwelcoming experience with very rude behaviour. Taking a wrong order and than having the audacity to tell me it was my fault!!! Experience with both employees was terrible. Avoid this location !

I last ate at this Nando’s about 9 years ago. The standards have dropped. The friendliness of the serving staff was missing. However, the only dish I had was salad and that was well made and delicious

The service at this store is horrendous. A total of four people working a full restaurant. Waiting times for tables and food are extremely long. Not a fault of the staff, they’re just very overworked and understaffed.

The food was excellently prepared. But the chef Thiago and his staff made it more memorable. I thought Nando's was average, but this place changed my mind for the better.

Can't begin to describe what an awful experience I had here. Service was super slow. Took 40 mins jus to order and get the table cleaned. There was no air conditioning as far as I could tell so it was very stuffy. Worst of all the food was awfully dry. The chicken, rice, chips and creamy mash tasted like they'd been made the day before. To top it all off, the cutlery was filthy dirty and the drinks had no fizz whatsoever. All for the pristine price of £30. Id rather go to my local chicken shop next time. Disgusting really.

Excellent service, food was cooked and served on time. Ayani was really helpful and has been very kind for the past 10+ times I’ve visited and assisted me with everything I’ve needed help with. Excellent person all round, makes the dining experience way better.

Went to Nando’s Bayswater for family dinner last night. As our family favourite Going Nando’s for years. Never had that bad experience before. Front door staff are not very welcoming. Having waited for 30 minutes for table even though restaurant looks empty. After order it took 45 minutes to get your food but I am ok with that issue is chicken was cold and dry! I never had that bad chicken in Nando’s before. No one ask us about our food. Terrible customer service.

Extraordinary flavor, appreciated when you are traveling. The best cost-benefit in the area. I hope to be able to return soon.

Visited Nando's Bayswater for our peri peri fix: the food was good, atmosphere were fine, but what made our time there a truly 5/5 experience was our server, Mohamed (Mo). Single-handedly keeping the whole of the upper floor satisfied and was constantly on the go to ensure everyone upstairs was satisfied and looked after. From the moment we were seated to the minute we left, Mo barely took a second to stop and breathe, he was everywhere helping everyone and doing an exceptional job! I never leave reviews, but for his service and hard work alone, I felt I had to take the time to commend him for -- and I'm not exaggerating when I say this -- the BEST customer service I've experience in my 2 years living in London. Polite, efficient and on the ball: GIVE THIS MAN A RAISE!

I don’t usually do reviews but I just have to today. There was a small issue where I requested an empty small bowl for my sons ice cream instead of putting it on a plate as it was sliding off and the gentleman I asked was being a little difficult not wanting to and just stared at me like he didn’t understand like I was speaking in Chinese or something? Anyway that isn’t the reason I’m doing the review the real reason is because I just wanted to show my appreciation to a lady I think her name is Tisha who was absolutely amazing with us!!!! I’d like to really thank her for her charisma and joyful good energy and light to a somewhat dull atmosphere, my son is autistic and so was becoming quite agitated towards the end; Tisha was wonderful and understanding and communicated remarkably with not only him but everyone around. She is an asset to this branch along with Toby (who’ve I’ve met on another occasion) both very kind, hardworking and compassionate. As long as they’re at this branch I will be visiting. Thank you again Tisha your amazing!

Horrible experience , had to leave before we sat down due to employee prejudice, Employee called Thiago was very racist and incredibly disrespectful. Raising his voice. I believe he was being Islamophobic due to most of my family wearing hijabs(Headscarves).Ordered us to move rudely, not understanding. All other employees were nice and sweet except him, we've been there many times, this was the first time anything like this has happened. Really hope he is removed from the staff. His name is Thiago, so If you ever plan to visit this Nandos please be wary of him(Description: Bald with overdeveloped stomach). Another detail is that during his cleaning of our table he intentionally sprayed my family and I with chemicals. We are really considering to press charges. You must also consider the fact that apart from one other family that had already been served we were the only ones there, so he had no justification for his unnecessary rush, racism and impoliteness. I hope that this Nandos branch can move forwards from this incident.

Walked in today with my family, since we walked in all members of staff were incredible except for one member of staff that I think was named thiago. He was the chef there. We've been to this specific nandos many times. When we were taken to our seats he made us stand up with a very aggressive tone after another member of staff told us to sit down. This wasn't a deal breaker but as we got ready and went to order our food he started speak incredibly fast so my mother politely asked to repeat it slower as she is and elderly woman. He responded with "I haven't got time and if you want to you have to wait for me to finish so be patient I dont have time for you." The tone he said this with was incredibly disrespectful and ruined my whole family's night with his behaviour. We left immediately not even 5 minutes after entering and we have not even received our drinks yet. I happen to believe that he was islamaphobic due to my whole family wearing headscarves and robes.This is not the way to treat the customers and is terrible customers service.We were also one of the only families there. I have made it clear that as a regular customer me and my family will not be returning any time soon. I hope this can be sorted out and made aware with the senior management to deal with him and I hope that he will be removed off the team. Thank you.

The food was an amazing experience at Nando’s. Even though I waited for 20 mins for a seat since it’s usually a busy restaurant. It is worth it. The food is excellent quality and the staff was friendly and had a great sense of humor.

Het eten was heerlijk. Je kan zelf de pittigheid kiezen en saus erbij doen. Duurde wel even voordat het eten er was, maar het was erg vers dus dat maakte het wachten waard.

Pollo in tutte le salse. Puoi scegliere la parte che preferisci, la quantità che vuoi. Puoi aggiungere due contorni a scelta e la salsa piccante secondo il tuo palato, da plainish a extra strong. Puoi anche decidere di mangiare il tuo pollo dentro al pane e puoi scegliere il tipo di pane. Prezzo onesto. Ah, una volta pagata la bibita puoi riempire il tuo bicchiere ogni volta che vuoi!

Went to this nandos,I was pleased with the yummy food and there was a worker called Toby who was so nice, funny and interactive, he was so great and lovely however I can't say the same for someone called tiago, who was extremely rude and didn't seem to care about the fact that we just wanted to pay separately and kept rushing my friend to the point where she had to oay for half of the meal!!

Before i begin TOBY was an absolute legend was the reason i didn’t start a problem great atmosphere and interactive behaviour GIVE THAT MAN A RAISE. I am not here to slander any hard working business but i can not just sit here and let this slide. Upon entering the restaurant we were told that the wait would be 20mins OBVIOUSLY WE KNEW IT WOULD IT WOULD BE LONGER THAN 20mins but the manager i believe was the one seating people i also think his name is Tiago or something like that NOT ONLY WAS HE EXCEPTIONALLY RUDE AND UNPATIENCE FORCING ME TO TAP MY CARD AND PAY FOR MAJORITY OF THE MEAL WHEN UT WAS AGGRED UPON THAT IT WOULD BE SPLIT. LISTEN UP I ALSO BELIEVE HE HAD SOME SORT OF DISLIKE TO CERTIN GROUPS SEATING IN THE RESTAURANT BECAUSE THE WAY HE WOULD SPEAK TO THE OTHER COSTUMERS WHO HAS BEEN WATING FOR 1 hour for his food WAS DISGUSTING TO WATCH.(by people i mean people of COLOUR) Just outrageous.

Staff were quite rude. The order was wrong when it came out and they didn't really want to fix it. Asked multiple times for knives as there was none available but they only brought them at the end of the meal so ended up eating with two forks. Food was ok but chicken undercooked. Wasn't much ambience to speak of with staff rushing around speaking loudly into their headsets.

We came here as a large group of 9, we were accomodated with staff putting tables together which was great. The staff weren't overly friendly, a few things were forgotten or left out which wasn't a big issue.

The manager ask us all of eight out of restaurant by saying it’s not your house, we visited London after long time but we never expect such behavior by a manager to there customers ! We asked him to respect your customers …. It’s really very disappointing…. We will never go to Nandoz again

The manager was very rude with his reaction. Because we went to the cashier to get what we normally order the waiter suggested us to take family platter and she said this is for four people so we payed for it and she gave us four empty glass she didn’t explain to us that this is just for water when we filled it up with fizzy drinks the manager came up and he put his fingers inside the glasses we told him that we didn’t know that was just for water and I informed him that I don’t mind pay for it and he refused and grabbed the other two glasses and put his fingers in the other two and that was really disgusting because he was working on the grill and straight away came to us put his fingers on the drink and he started to shout on us in front all the customers now we are disgust of what he done and we asked him to cancel the order as we wasn’t comfortable and again he refused unfortunately I wasn’t expected to see that in Nando’s (the staff )

I ate with family, there was good food, and everything else is self serve after purchase, but I had to ask for multiple things like plates and straws that could've been more accessible. The selection of condiments is good, but even the extra extra hot Peri sauce wasn't really spicy. There's a small selection of sodas at a fountain, but they also have iced tea and a children's drink tucked away somewhere. There was a wait time to get seating, but the food didn't take too long to come. I personally don't like music playing in the background, but I did appreciate the staffs assistance and the availablility of a station to wash hands at. All in all a good experience.

Bad experience manger was very rude

To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to express my profound disappointment with the recent experience my family and I encountered at Nando's Bayswater Express on the 14th of October, 2023. Our visit was marred by a series of incidents that not only left us humiliated but also raised questions about the level of customer service provided at your establishment. My family, consisting of my wife and three children, visited your restaurant for dinner. Upon arrival, we were surprised to find no one by the door, and there was no queue. Two empty tables were available, so I proceeded to the cashier to place our order. I inquired about the family meals and placed our order. I provided the cashier with our table number, which appeared to be in order initially. However, the ordeal began when my wife asked me to leave our table, as a staff member began shouting and waving his hands in front of our children. This was because she had not waited in the designated waiting area. When I approached the staff member politely to discuss the situation, he repeated the same behavior towards me and gestured for us to move to the waiting area near the door, next to the sign. Regrettably, he seemed uninterested in our explanation that we had conversed with another staff member who had given us permission to proceed. Additionally, despite having taken our order, our food was not served promptly, and we were not provided with the necessary tableware, such as forks. When we inquired about the delay, the staff member pointed us towards the serving table, which, to our frustration, was empty. This prolonged wait was particularly challenging for our children, who ended up eating with their hands. At this point, the situation escalated further when we had to seek intervention from the branch manager. Fortunately, the branch manager was courteous and offered to serve our children chocolate cake as a gesture of goodwill. We, however, declined the offer as the damage to our dining experience had already been done. The most disheartening aspect of our visit was the hostility and unfavorable comments directed at us by the staff. As residents of the vicinity, having lived just ten buildings away from your branch, we have frequented Nando's Bayswater Express before and have never encountered such hostile and unprofessional treatment. Given that our visit took place on the 14th of October, 2023, a day when there was a significant presence of Palestinian supporters on the street, we cannot help but wonder whether this external event influenced our experience. It felt as though we were treated unfairly, as if we were outsiders in our own neighborhood. The treatment we received was reminiscent of a street altercation, an experience that was particularly distressing, especially in the presence of our children. I can see in the questions that you require How much did we spend per person?, it sounds very corporate and how customers complaint will be valued.. Best Regards, Ali

Several days ago, I was here for dinner on upper floor. Suffered a serious discrimination from a waiter who was a black man because I was Asia people, asked him over 5 times I need a cup to put drink, but he ignored me. At the last time, he even rolled his eyes to me. Racist should be kicked off from this earth no matter his race!!! This is Nando's quality and standard to employ this kind of racist to serve his customer, poor !
