The food was reasonable priced , large portioned and excellent quality .We have been looking for a pub to enjoy Sunday dinners and so happy we have found the orange tree .The staff are very friendly and eager to please we will definitely be using this pub for the foreseeable future...John and fiona

umm so they got the order wrong, then afterwards when they got the right order it tasted off next day im throwing up 3 times horribly and other issues because of iskender kebab that was £16 never coming back here

I ordered the 3 chicken wings with peri fries. Chicken absolutely hit the spot to be honest. Peri-fries had an equal amount of spice. Would recommend to go here.

A decent spot for a quick, spicy, and yummy bite. The peri-peri flavors are nice, and it’s convenient when you’re short on time. To me, the taste is average to slightly above average—good, but not amazing. Worth a visit, but not something I constantly crave.

Had full platter with 4 sides arrived promptly and service was good ! Sat in outside area and was nice and sunny and pleasant ! Thank you

I went for Thursday Steak Night and ordered the 6Oz Steak Fillet for £16, along with Peppercorn Sauce for an extra £1.50. The steak itself was a little disappointing. It was a little dry and lacking in flavour. The garlic butter the steak had been cooked in brought good flavour to the steak, as did the peppercorn sauce, but none really from the steak itself. However, the sides that came along with the steak were both bountiful and well tasting. The chips and onion rings were crispy, and the mushroom and tomatoes were juicy and tasted great! The staff were very friendly and polite. The establishment is located inside the Wygston House, the oldest house in Leicester, dating back to the 15th. The restaurant is housed within sections of the original timber frame of the house, but within a Georgian renovated section. As such, there is a certain historical atmosphere when seated inside. It is also quite quaintly decorated, which adds a character of it's own.

The pub is in a perfect situation and lovely surrounding woodland but, pub needs a refurbishment as quite dated and cleanliness, including toilets not to a great standard. Small crowded area if you have dogs. Food was poor. Steak frites. Steak raw and chewy and frites/fries really salty. Curry average with tiny amount of rice and chips definitely catering potatoes. Mentioned steak really chewy and no response. Just offered to box up all the steak for dogs. Serving staff were nice. Won't come back as second time disappointed. Good for a beer in beer garden.

Food was nice but a tad cold when it arrived

Lovely little cafe, welcoming staff, warm and cosy on a wet day. Only had a coffee so can't comment on the food. Dog friendly and she even got a treat.

Great service and the food is delicious recommendation when eating in fulham

I’ve been here a couple of times, and each time is always excellent. Food is tasty, individual portions are considerable, beverages are Portuguese (so good ones 🙃), atmosphere is traditional but friendly and respectful.

Lovely bit of carvery on a Sunday.

Not worth the price, slow service.
