We came here on 7th October, as this was my Granddaughters 7th birthday, and her choice as she loves the garden. The food was absolutely delicious. A friendly atmosphere. Would definitely come here again.

My god this was lovely. Scampi fries and mushy peas , and kids pizza and chips. 2 drinks. £20 ten pieces of scampi so so nice and a blackcurrant and lemonade the best ever. Lovely setting I’m well Over the moon, can’t wait to go in again. Oh and they said 15 minutes for food and despite being busy it wasn’t a second longer.

We fancied some lunch somewhere and remembered this place. We weren't disappointed. A plentiful menu with lots to choose from. If you can't find anything on this menu, then you are indeed fussy. Note during the week they stop food at 1. 45pm and re open the kitchen for evening meals.

Ordered a latte expecting a nice milky coffee. Instead I get a 'latte' made from a powered sachet. And to add insult to injury it was one that was pre sweetened. Disgusting!! The staff were really nice though otherwise I would have given a 1 rating.

Nice welcome, and sat up back out the way from the busy bar due to the football. Unfortunately the food was a real let down. Served food without any cutlery and no offer for condiment’s, I had to go grab them from another room off of another table and ask the Barman for the cutlery Black pudding was over cooked and dried out. Had to scrape it out of the skin, of which i was unable to cut apart due to it being waaay to tough and only given a butter/breakfast knife to eat with… The 14oz sausage was black burnt and crispy on both sides, and all I could taste was burned casing and just ruined it completely, also Due to blunt knife could not cut away the meat without making a real mess and gave up. Absolute waste of food and definitely won’t be heading back. No one checked on us or asked how the mains were. On leaving the bar staff were not there to say anything to so we just left. Burnt both sides and they still served it. Also very rough cobble stones leading to the pub, so beware if you’ve stiff suspension. You’re in for a vibe fest ha! Also carpark is pitch black at night so you’ll need your torch. Beautiful location, just real slack standards or food and the beef Lasagna was a 5/7. Ok but definitely not great.

Arrived at lunchtime on Sunday, very fated and old fashioned inside, ordered food and 2 drinks, advertised was roast dinner, i opted for the lamb when it came it was a lamb shank which I wasn't expecting, it must have been one of the boil in the bag ones, it was awful, the rest of the dinner wasn't that bad but wasn't home cooked, everythimg was frozen, husbands soup was like a bowl of dish water with a ton of pepper thrown in, I don't think it had ever seen a butternut squash, ordered a black coffee that never arrived and had to ask 4 times for it, definitely won't return we will stick to the beautiful cafe facing the pub

This place could be better, very basic and in need of a revamp. Very old fashioned inside. The food is basic, I ordered the hot beef baguette, it started on the menu that it was topside beef but was far from that. It was more like tinned beef in gravy which was lacking onions also started on the menu. The baguette was not the nice crusty fresh type just a cheap part baked effort. The drink I ordered was blackcurrant and soda which tasted somewhat musty.on the plus side the toilets are extremely clean. Could be much better. Definitely wouldn’t recommend.

We were really looking forward to eating at the pub after recommendations however, after waiting over an hour for our food we politely enquired as to how much longer it may be. The response we got was very poor to say the least. No apology, just it's on now, whatever that meant we don't know. When it finally arrived it was ok. If we go again we will ask up front as to how long it will be!

Visited after making booking, staff very pleasant on arrival drinks and food orders taken at the bar. Very reasonably priced I thought. After waiting just over 1 hour after enquiring the meal was delivered. I had a slice of cheese pie must admit nice cheese a few chips and same in garden peas. The other meal lasagne ( even less chips) no veg or salad , the meal had run all down the sides of the dish. Sorry to say presentation is not in the chefs fort’e. The cheese pie would have been improved with some sauce, the lasagne was sloppy and tasteless. Not the best sorry.

Went for lunch on Friday. The pub was very busy but the staff worked very hard to serve everyone. There was a young lady behind the bar who was very pleasant and welcoming despite being rushed off her feet. We had to wait a little longer than usual for the food but this was because the pub was so busy and it didn't spoil our visit despite my Father in Law moaning about the service. The food was nice and I would definitely recommend this pub to people. The prices for the food were very reasonable too. A great spot for a fab Sunday dinner- meat eater and vegetarian we’re both impressed! It was a tasty spread of vegs and Yorkshire puds. The atmosphere was warm, stylish while keeping it relaxed in a unique dinning spot in Prestwich. We are sooo lucky to have you in the neighbourhood OSMA! Sunday roast is one thing but the creativity of the menu that changes each week is remarkable and delicious!
