Both times that I have been here I got food poisoning. I don’t quite understand how such a simple restaurant that has to only cook chicken (probably the easiest meat to cook) manages to give so many people food poisoning. Do yourself a favour and get some chicken, your own seasonings and make it at home. It’ll be tastier, cheaper and you won’t get food poisoning👍

Not as good as used to be. Chicken uncooked , very small portions and long waiting times. Shame …

The chicken was brilliant, the star of the show. It was late on a Sunday, so they were out of a few ingredients, but that is just how things go sometimes and it didn't particularly impact my experience. Portion sizes were smaller than I expected, but maybe I had too high hopes.

I have been a long-time customer and have always loved dining at your establishment. However, during my recent visits, I have noticed a decline in the quality of both the food and service. Unfortunately, I have been served meals that were not up to the usual standard, with some dishes arriving burnt. When I brought this to the attention of the staff, I was disappointed by the lack of response and the manner in which the situation was handled. On one occasion, the food was simply thrown onto the table, and when I requested a replacement, it was not addressed properly.

Very nice, good food, good service.

We used to really enjoy visiting, but found it has really gone downhill, despite prices going up and up. The coleslaw had clearly been sat around and was borderline sour. Fries were clearly cooked a while earlier and just sat around, and chicken somewhat anaemic. Service was friendly enough as usual, albeit they tried to take one of our plates away before we’d finished. Just not worth it any more at their prices, or any price for that matter. Shame.

I have visited many Nando's locations in various places, and the food has always been fresh. However, this visit was different: the chips were soft, as if they had been reheated, and the chicken didn't taste freshly cooked. It was a disappointing experience.

Just an average Nandos, apart from wing roulette everything else was okay. Wing roulette just a massive disappointment. Me and my friend can handle the spice upto a medium flavour but we felt like the roulette didn't go hotter than a medium. We wanted to challenge ourselves and see if we could handle the heat but as soon as we finished it we were just let down 😔

Over priced. £25 to feed a 12 year old. Lots of staff but no table service. Took ages to just order food.. sit it customers seem to be second place to collecting customers. 1st and possibly last time visiting this store.. others in the chain are much nicer and much cheaper

Food is getting worse year by year, chicken texture is hit and miss, would definitely not go there is my daughter wasn't craving for it. Service is also not consistent, you can get some friendly chatty waiters and another time just a depressed snob. Feels like time for the management change.

Brilliant service, staff are very helpful, manager was excellent, if only all Nandos were this good.

Think you should be told where the cutlery is rather than just have food brother you and nothing said apart from that it's a really nice restaurant

We came in trying to cure our hangover, but it was full and there was an electronic queue, so we decided to get a takeaway. I found the service relatively quick, considering how busy they were and how much we had ordered. The staff are polite and welcoming. The food was as good as always. A safe hangover cure option.

Ease of parking options due to the large car park next to it makes this place a desirable location for Nando's lovers. Good atmosphere to sit in. Been visiting this place for many years now.

Menu clearly says: 'Two chicken breasts, joined by crispy flame-grilled skin. Infused with PERi-PERi and served in your choice of spice'. Served was one chiken breast cut in half and placed side by side covered in skin. When i questioned the waitress I was told this is how it is...... This was also after waiting 41 minutes for our meal..... shame, I love Nandos but will be a while before i go back! Oh, the mash is clealt pre packed and heated in the microwave, stay clear of this. The mac 'n cheese was lovely :)

Travelled from wimborne to this restaurant, although poole is nearer. Generally this has been the better experience of the two. However, tonight we were told that we would need to wait for a table for approx 30 minutes. It was evident that there were a number of empty tables, therefore I questioned the host as to why? We were told that there were other people in the queue, which we accepted and sat down to wait. After approx 10 minutes, the host called two surnames out, but no one arrived. Approx 20 minutes after we arrived we were shown to a table. Ordered our food, which took 30 minutes to arrive. Food was good, however the chicken wings were not crispy, as I had requested. Throughout our meal, I could see at least five table empty. As we were near the door, I could hear the host telling people that it would be a 35 to 40 minutes wait. On more than two occasions people decided not to be put on the wait list and left. Once the host had told a couple this, they decided not to wait. Immediately afterwards, another party of 3 came in the door. They had not been on a list, he just looked around and asked them if the table near to us would be ok. Then he seated them on a free table with two chairs, and gave them an extra chair? No wait at all for them? We finished our food, which we enjoyed and they collected the plates. No offers of whether we wanted a dessert, as would be usual. It was clear that they were very busy with pick up takeaway orders. Was this the reason for turning customers away? Not sure, but in future we will visit the Poole branch at Tower Park. Quite disappointed as we love Nandos.

First visit and found it very easy to order via the QR code and app. Very nice place and not too busy at a lunch time in the week. Food came in good time. We'll presented, tasty and a good size. Staff very pleasant and helpful.

Love this branch of Nando's, one of the best in my opinion! Great service and nice and clean. Always plenty of parking right outside too.

Never thought I would write a review about Nandos but credit where credits due. Staff were attentive and friendly. Food was tasty and presented well. Special mention to Arjun who was polite and well mannered.

2nd time in a month. I must be careful could become a habit. A fairly good meal for two people including drinks for around £30 is not bad going in this day and age.

I ordered the Nando’s double chicken breast butterfly burger and it came with one butterfly chicken breast! In fact I ordered two butterfly chicken breast burgers and one butterfly chicken breast meal with sides! I mentioned it to the waiter and he said to me ‘ look there is one breast and there is two breasts ‘, from my vastly culinary food background I said to the waiter that this portion of chicken was of one chicken breast not 2. He then replied no it’s one and two, so I accepted his judgement and finished my meal. Unless the chicken used was of the quail bird variety I would have understood. I did finish the meal as I do not like to make to much of scene with this sort of experience, but I can assure you that there was just one chicken butterfly breast in my burger as you will see in the picture that I will provide. It is a shame because I did like the franchise, I have not visited for some time! I’m not sure if the standards have dropped from the mass publicity in previous years, as of today I was not happy with what I had been served. From this I would not personally recommend nor attend another Nando’s branch. I hope this will help other people with their experiences/ Nando’s change in the way they explain or interpret their menu for the future.

Food took a while, corn was cold, garlic bread was burnt and chicken a bit dry. Should have complained but was in a rush. They looked busy. Waiter nice and friendly though

Never been before and I would like to say it was ok. I wish I could be more enthusiastic but it was a bit disappointing. Staff was lovely but the food was less impressive than what I could make at home. Had the 4 chicken thighs and I think the birds must have been poussin or were actually 2 thighs cut in two. Supposed to have crispy skin but didn't. The portion of chips was the smallest I've seen in any restaurant in decades and were only good for soaking up a bit of the different sauces. The rainbow slaw had a nice flavour but there was little indication on the menu of what it actually contained. But dinner for 2 people for £40? Without dessert. And you have to go to the till to order, and go and collect your own cutlery and sauces. Hmm. Not sure I'll return.

One of the best nandos around. Normally quite busy, but turn around is quick. Update : been here twice in the past month and it is a shambles. Both times our food has just been sat on the counter and taken well over 30 minutes to arrive even after speaking to the servers.

Food always good. Said there was a delay as shoet staffed which wasn't however lots of staff stood talking. Stopped serving hot drinks during covid and haven't restarted. On a freezing day, not one wants iced fizzy drinks!

Good service, chill people and delicous food. Hats off to the waiter named Charlie. He is very professional with what he does and always has a smile on his face. His vibe is infectious. Defintely would come here again.

I vomited the moment I got home, but that does not change the fact that it smelt good in there and the staff was adequate. I guess my body didn't like the garlic bread, or the chicken.

I was very disappointed to find that they didn’t have any hot drinks but only sold very overpriced soft drinks and alcohol. This certainly put a damper on our evening as we don’t like soft drinks and alcohol. This was the very first time that we had visited a Nando’s restaurant and will be the last too. NANDOS there are others out there who will agree with me. Unless something changes I won’t be back.

It was my first time in that restaurant and I highly recommend it.

Amazing food tonight at Nando’s. Awesome service by Charlie who was friendly & professional, helped find a table, got us extra plates and sauces & checked that everything was great. Brilliant will definitely be eating here again very soon! 😎

Nando's seems to successfully deliver a great experience no matter where I've dined. Seated today by Jade, who was very friendly and helpful. 40 min wait for a table but that's no issue as next to the shops. Only had loaded chips as wanted something small, tasted absolutely awesome 👌

We were down at the coast for a well needed get away and to spend time together. We were pleased to see a Nando's so close to where we were staying. There was a short wait time to be seated but the app kept us updated. All the staff we encountered were smiling and happy! Food was great! We were gutted we didnt have room for puddings

We were a group of 6 and ordered meals without any issues as it was quite quiet, with plenty of free tables. 5 meals arrived OK with the 6 being told it was on it's way. Despite chasing it up the mean never arrived until the others had finished. No explanation, no refund offered. In fact all that was offered was, did we want the meal boxed to take home ! Had to ask for the refund. Appalling customer service , run by staff that just don't care. We're Nando's regulars but wouldn't return to this one, terrible.

Entered the door. Got greeted by what I thought was a nice waiter. Fairly tall, brunette, glasses and a middle part. He said we had to wait which was fine. He asked for my phone number to write down to text us when our table was ready, he then made a remark about me “coming round to his house later”. This isn’t appropriate even if it’s a joke. My friend and I left right after this. It’s a shame because we usually love this restaurant. Probably won’t be coming again any time soon.

Really disappointed of the service we received. We ordered starter and main. After 20mins we still didnt receive our starter. The restaurant wasnt busy. I went to the till to check what was going on and the guy behind the till told me he is busy to deal with me. It seems they are prioritising the delivery orders over the eat in ones.

Went on saturday about 7pm, was able to park easily, seated quickly and didn't wait long for the food which was excellent

Food was nice when we got it. Person who brought half of our order knocked the order off the order screen, this meant the rest of our food sat there for half an hour because the team didn’t know where it was for and also didn’t question it until we asked. Before we went up to ask for our food, we could see the waiting plates and were watching our food to see if they were going to bring it to us. While doing this we witnessed a member of the team pick a chip up off one of our waiting plates and throw it at another member of staff in the kitchen area. The only reason I have added the service as a 2 stars was because the manager went out of their way to rectify our issue, to the point where they made our food fresh themselves. Service from the manager could not have been better over all service from the other staff members very poor.

Just moved to area. Been to Nando’s twice. The first time they told me there was a 25 minute wait and I asked about 2 empty tables I could see, they said they were waiting for the people who were in the queue to come and claim them. I decided not to bother. Online says can’t book. I called, said you can’t book or put yourself in queue. So I’ve come again and I’m sat outside and count 6 free tables yet was quoted 30 minute wait time. My guess is the kitchen or staff can’t handle a full restaurant and use the queue as a tactic to take pressure off. Which would be fine if they said that but they don’t, they just lie. Also if these 6 free tables had people coming I’ve waited to post this for 15 minutes just in case. Hungry.

I first discovered Nando's in South Africa and couldn't get enough, and it's still like that, a total treat for me. So glad they are so big here as well. Best chicken and spicy rice ever. Thank you. Sheena

Good menu choice, food a touch slow in coming but we were a group of five

The first time was awesome, service, food and everything but the second and last! was absolutely terrible. The service was horrible. We couldn’t even get a table and was asked to leave! It was just unbelievable, we even offered to sit outside in the cold but the waitress was not having it. In as much as the food was good unfortunately the terrible service received the second time over shadows everything!

Who doesn't love a trip to Nandos, good food, quick service.

This Nando’s is really infuriating , they always say there’s no tables and yet today there were 15 empty. Either start taking reservations or actually utilise the tables you have

Always a decent spot to get a bite to eat. Can sometimes be a long wait for food (over 40 minutes on this visit) but staff were very apologetic, being peak time on a Saturday evening, it's not going to always be rapid service!

First visit. Choose our food. Chicken in a roll, i also had a corn on the cob. When it was bought out to us it was a very small roll on a massive plate. The food looked lost and we were disappointed. After the shock had gone we ate it. It was lovely. £13 for a small chicken roll and corn. Why the big platrs?

I am a Nando’s regular and was really disappointed today. Half our order sat under the heat lamp for ages whilst the other half was cooked. During the wait time part of the order was put back on the grill to reheat whilst the other was left cold. The manager’s response to my complaint was rude and unprofessional.

We had a table of 30 which they managed to fit and cater for last minute. Service was quick and organised. Food was great, and lots to choose from (If you like chicken 😉) Lots of parking around, right next to shopping center.

You know what you're getting with Nandos. This one was clean and the service was excellent, even on a busy Sunday lunch time. Would happily go again to this one.

Waited absolutely ages for food had to ask twice where it was then when it eventually came my partners was cold and it had to go back. Rainbow slaw and rice were not nice and unable to eat. Very disappointed Said would like to see manager but no one bothered to come over. Sadly won’t revisit this branch

We visited on Saturday 17th December in the evening. We were shown to the table and given an explanation on how to order really quick. We ordered the food and it come out quick and was delicious and hot. The Sunset burger was lovely and had great flavour as did the butterfly chicken. We also had the frozen strawberry yogurt which was more like ice cream but still nice. We come away happy and full up. We will be back again soon 👍

Staff border on rudeness. We used to be reasonably regular, but haven’t been in a long time. What a disappointment. Through to grunting from staff, to missing orders. Shame

always love Nando's especially this one, but tonight i received not only 1 but two hairs in my food but also the most disgusting customer service from the ‘manager’. as i went to tuck into my food i saw a lovely blonde curly hair under my chicken, i told a member of staff and they grabbed the manager, My food was taken away and i was asked if i wanted it replaced or a refund but could only have one or the other, obviously i chose the refund as i was put off, then as my food was taken away i was told to enjoy by the manager as i watched my friend eat her dinner. 5 minutes later i looked into my chip bowl that was left on the side to find yet ANOTHER blonde curly hair. The lovely lady who greeted us at the door, was more concerned and apologetic than the manager was. she offered me dessert/ice-cream so i wasn’t sat there with nothing in front of me. i politely declined as i just wanted to get out. Just keep an eye out for them long blonde curly hairs peeps!

Welcomed by the friendly manager who seemed very proud of his restaurant, and so he should be, staff were very helpful and managed to tailor our requirements. Food was typical Nandos Fayre which we always appreciate. A friendly thank you and farewell from the manager completed the great experience

You order a delivery to be delivered and it never arrives. The driver turns up at my office and just hands it to the nearest person. So if you want a free Nando's then pop by Holdenhurst Road at 1pm tomrrow and feel free to...

The staff were very friendly and polite and were very helpful. Really enjoyed the atmosphere and the experience over all was amazing. The food was delicious and the portions were just perfect.

Chicken is good quality and seasoned nice. However the portion size is small, don't go for quarter chicken half a chicken minimum.

What more can be said about Nandos? You know what you are going to get and it’s consistently good. Flavoursim food, cooked well and a good price - even better with the NHS discount 👊🏻
