Nando's in Bournemouth

I hadn't been to Nando's for many years after hearing the horrific stories relating to the welfare of chickens in Nando's supply chain but this was a work do and I was outvoted. The food isn't cheap like most fast food places and it really is that fast... faster than a fat kid on a snickers. I ordered some chicken with slaw and peas... 2 minutes it took to arrive on our table... I think it's safe to say the food isn't made to order. I don't need to spend £12 on some microwaved chicken... my girlfriend has mastered the art of microwave cooking and she can nuke a chicken really well for quarter of the price... Nothing special about the food. Have always liked the assortment of condiments at Nando's (Ranging from mild to very hot) but the bottles do need a wipe every now and again... they were particularly sticky when I popped in on a very quiet weekday afternoon. Just as I remember it - a bit cheap, a bit tacky and mean to chickens. An outrageously average dining experience!

First time visiting Nando's, was definitely worth the wait! staff where so friendly / professional & talked me through the whole experience on how to order / options etc, food was very tasty well cooked & super fast service..seating area was comfortable & restaurant itself was clean / tidy definitely be returning to this one again in tower park

brother i’ve waited an hour for my food, a family just came in 10 minutes ago and already they have a fest in front of them. this is very poor behaviour.

Love Nando's Poole. Fantastic food and great service. Very affordable. We come here regularly.

The food is always delivered promptly which makes it a pleasant place to have a quick bite to eat before the cinema.

Staff were nice and we were pleased with the service. Parking space was also a factor.

We were served by Rafael and the service was perfect, really friendly and he even helped us chose our food an because i was cold sitting next to the window he moved us to a warmer area

Had a meal there this evening with my daughter. A big shout out to Tony who was amazing. He checked everything was OK with our meal. Sadly mine was added with ingredients I didn't like and he sorted this for me straight away. He also boxed up my daughters meal she couldn't finish. A credit to the company, thanks Tony. Everyone was working really hard and the place was constantly busy. Well done Nandos 🐔

Me and My husband went there for a nice lunch and we got approached by a guy name Rafael. We had a good meal, food was really good and the portions were really big. To top all that the service from Rafael was really good- he was so attentive and friendly. Will be back for sure

Came here with my daughter and extended family today. Food is superb 👌 as usual hence we are always coming back. However am a bit disappointed that the menu has changed. You no longer have the 3 wings on the nandino menu which my daughter and niece love ❤️ unfortunately we had to order the kids the adult menu of 3 wings with their usual chip and broccoli 🥦 stem sides which cost £10.75 which doesn’t even come with the frozen yoghurt 🍦 anymore. This was a big disappointment. Also the bottomless soft swirl isn’t as great as the bottomless frozen yoghurt you guys had. We also love how the flavours changed between strawberry, melon, vanilla and chocolate 🍫. We love the wings but think won’t come to Nando’s as often as usual anymore due to these changes. In the past just paying for my daughter and I we spend about £20-25 now with the changes to we’ve spent over £35 ! That’s a huge price increase 📈 wouldn’t have mind paying about £5 extra as I understand prices increase yearly but this increase was huge hence also won’t be visiting Nando’s regularly unfortunately. Due to the changes we are giving 4 stars 🌟 staff here are lovely and very helpful and the food is nice as always.

You know that you can not get wrong with Nando’s. Fair quality for the price and the best sauces for the chicken. This specific branch, seemed very clean and staff were always offering a great service.

Not a fan of Nando's myself but it was raining and it was close to the place we were (opposite Splashwater). I asked for half chicken and they did not have chicken on the bone, I tried to order a salad and they also did not have salad. This is the second time when they don't have salad or chicken in the bone (previously in the Nando's located in New Malden). I only go to Nando's like once or twice a year so I must be very unlucky

Really great experience this evening ! Servers were amazing especially Bharadwaj who made us feel super welcome and made the extra effort to make sure we had everything we needed. Great food that came out quickly too! Thank you !

The toilets are the best in Dorset. Maybe the UK. Possibly the entire world. Food is good too. My favourite character is Terry. What a jovial fellow!

What else is there to say? The food is absolutely smashing. The spices, delectable. But most importantly.. The best nando's toilets I have ever experienced. Bravo.

Writing this on behalf of my Nan- we were served by Leo and he was lovely and couldn’t have done anymore to help us and went out of his way to talk to us. Lovely guy and service was amazing.

Hmmm 🤔 not the Nandos I remembered. Very little service as you order your own food and get your own drinks. Staff were friendly but despondent and it was unfortunately reflected in the atmosphere. Prices weren't extortionate and food was ok. Would I rush back , unfortunately not

Was an amazing time start to finish we were greeted by a lovely lad (Leo I think his name was) he seated us and made sure we had a lovely time. The food was delicious and a nice atmosphere as well.

Seated near very cold window. Had to dine in coats. Totally unacceptable when warm tables are available. Tricky to order through an app that needs downloading. Not great.

ordered for 4 people, the half chicken was literally pink and the lemon and herb chicken burger had spice to it and the person who ordered it is allergic to chilli. mac and cheese was banging tho

We went here on a Saturday night, was expecting a wait, but was given a table quickly and the food service was really good.

I'm not going to lie we used to come here and it was really nice so we went back yesterday, first of all why do they employ staff when they litrally do nothing but bring your food over? That's not a waitress. I'm disabled and she sat us at a table when we asked to be out of the way and it was right in the section of about 10 tables because they have renovated and no booths or walls separating you anymore, I hate it when restaurants don't have a quiet section or a bit out of the way for anxious people, or people on the spectrum so already off to a bad start for us both with a disability, severe anxiety, ASD and ADHD. The girl then said we go and get our own cutlery, our own drinks, order at the bar, and I'm sat there like I physically can't get up and down to do that AND hold it with my crutches.. my carer/ husband told me just to forget about it because the foods nice so we can forgive that bit. So we opened the menu and that's changed aswell, looked at what I normally have it was almost £16 for some chicken, mash and a bit of corn on the cob... then starter prices on top of that, then drinks, then dessert, all together probably would have cost us £70/£80 it's not financially a good meal out for a younger couple anymore. It used to be, so we went over to pizza hut instead where we had starter unlimited salad, side, main and unlimited drinks for £38 for us both!! I'm sorry nandos you used to be good but you don't cater for all individuals anymore which is a shame.

Don’t bother ordering for delivery, takes over an hour and it’s stone cold and the chicken was dry.

Always great service. It can be a bit slow at times as it's busy but staff are apologetic and have made up for the delay with free deserts! Food has always been good. Hospitality is hard work these guys try very hard and do a great job.

Tasty grilled chicken at reasonable price as usual from Nando's, convenient location as free parking in the tower park, friendly staff, efficient service, clean and nice interiors. Overall good!

First time for me as always assumed it was a 'fast food ' place ..

Tony on front of house was awesome. A credit to the company. Food was ok, corn on the cobs were a bit sad. Service made up for it.

I had a couple from the Isle of White sitting on the next table and the lady wouldn’t stop moaning and complaining about other drivers 🤬

Staff are very friendly and polite, even the ones who didn't serve us or bring the food. Meals were very good & we were there at peak time. Can thoroughly recommend this Nando's.

We are both veggies but had lots of sides that we could have then the lovely ice cream coconut, choc, vanilla and mango.

It seems that the staff have been told that even though there are 5 tables open . They tell the customers that they must wait 15 minutes. Then give those same customers the tables that were originally open when they arrive. Does not make sense. Then to top it off the main toilets are closed (blocked off by baby chairs )and you have to wait for the paraplegic toilet to be free.

Recently refurbished, usual Nando’s fare

I have been going to Nando’s for over 10 years i have visited many stores up and down the country ive even visited Nandos whilst abroad. I can safely say this Nando store ranks 1-2 in my all time favourite stores, The chef followed my instructions on how i like my chicken cooked which is, Peri Flamer well done before the sauce is added then dryed after adding the sauce. Which he executed to perfection! The service was impeccable the waitress even asked me to come and inspect the chicken to see if it was how i liked it which it was. The Staff are very friendly and polite so much so that i had to call the manager over and congratulate her on a job well done, this store is one of the best Nando’s ive visited and i can assure you i have been to many and not all are this good im extremely impressed 5* experience. Thank You

As every other Nando’s good overall and nice handing by staff, good food prep however they did small mistake to shuffle the burger tags but the serving person clarified the mistake so no complaints

You know what you get with Nando’s but the staff at this one were particularly friendly. Great evening and will definitely visit again.

What a difference a refit makes! Way nicer place to grab a bit to eat, more seating, drink refills in a way more convenient place. Friendly staff and some lush new food on the menu too! Garlic BBQ sauce is a must.

What a terrible place. The food is disgusting 🫣. I ordered a burger £11.25. It arrived just a burger no chips or salad you have to pay extra for chips. I could of gone to KFC for a better meal. Stay away

Atmosphere is good, however the new layout makes you feel like you are sitting in a uni food hall. Nothing wrong with it, but it feels a little crammed compared to the old layout. Toilet facilities seriously lacking too. Great food and friendly staff though.

Had a terrible experience with Gosia. She does not know how to deal with customers. She was discriminating and very rude to my friends and family when we came to eat.

Great service and super speedy. I went at Monday around 12 pm, so it wasn't too busy. The food was delicious. I couldn't recommend the garlic bread and peri peri chips enough! The hummus and bread is also an amazing starter. Overall a super experience and great for families.

Food was nice but no one told us there was no table service. We were sat there for quite sometime waiting to be served. The food arrived and we had no cutlery, my partner went and asked for some and they just pointed to where it was without even saying a word. Customer service definitely needs to be worked on for sure.

Really good Nando’s. We were welcome by Tony who really made us feel like welcomed and showed us to our table, telling us everything we needed to know etc. He did a brilliant job and was always smiling. Definitely coming to this Nando’s again!

Foolishly allowed ourselves to wait over 2.5hrs for our food to arrive. Ordered via deliveroo just after 7 it was with us at 9.45. No complaints about the taste, like any other Nando's. Different story this morning, both my partner and I have been seriously unwell with food poisoning. D&V. Bed bound. We ordered slightly different meals however one thing in common, the butterfly chicken. I’m guessing now that it was on the side for way longer than it should have been coupled with baring some unpleasant bacteria. Don’t believe I’ve had food poisoning to this extent before. I have been sick as a pig.

They had a table waiting system at the door. It worked well but I wish I could have added myself to the queue before I had left. Food was nice but spoiled a bit by infants running around our table. More of an issue with other guests really.

Not great, service was absent most of the time, and the food took ages. Had the butterfly chicken and wondered where they left the other half of it, was the smallest portion I've ever had at Nandos. Definitely more miss than hit lately there. Think Nandos may have lost their touch 🤷🏻‍♂️

Food was good, as usual, easy, tasty option that doesn't take too long.

Disappointed, closed off the part of the restaurant so 6 of us had to sit on two round tables for my daughters birthday meal. Other tables got served first that came in after us. My meal was dry and frankly for the second time in a row poor. Everyone else said they enjoyed their's, however for me I don't want to go back. Just not what it used to be, unfortunately.

Food tasted nice and staff was friendly but the place doesn't look very clean ,not a great atmosphere overall.

Came in late and the staff were really attentive and friendly, and service was quick. Nando's isn't great value for what you get, but really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere so would go again!

Went for my birthday and the service was 5 stars, i can not fault them on there efficiency and customer experience. The cost i personally think is over priced and for that reason i give them a 4 star

The food was good but their ordering system was not. QR code on table and then you are on your own. Order via App, website or at the bar. 8 years of us in party. No bookings allowed so chanced our luck to get a table and we did. Scanned code spent 15 minutes scrolling thru menu on phone for each of us then connection died and order lost. Our only other alternative was to write down orders ourselves and order at the bar. Staff member very helpful and others advised this was quite common. I think their system is ok if 2 of you but for a group, it really doesn't work. Tables need a larger sc reen than a mobile or someone taking orders.

Amazing experience. Greeted with a smile and felt very welcome. Ordering by the app was easy and the food was good portion size and very hot. All staff were friendly and helpful, checking we was OK and food was OK. Was acknowledged on the way out as well and had a thank you. I will be returning here soon
