I had the best experience at North Pole Restaurant, bar & shish lounge. The staff was absolutely amazing they checked we was ok always. 𝕮𝖍𝖆𝖗𝖑𝖊𝖆, Summit, Avi thank you for making my birthday dinner the best 💛

This spot never disappoints! Went for a friends birthday, service was great, food was even better and the drinks did not disappoint. I go often with all different groups of people and no one is ever disappointed, wouldn’t surprise me if I’m back next week

Sadly, this venue is now permanently going to be on my no visit or recommended venue to take myself or friends to. My friends and I were absolutely shocked at the lack of security and cctv footage available for an assault inside the venue, we don’t feel like this is being taken seriously at all by the venue. We are devastated at how unsafe we now feel to walk around the area even, let alone go into the venue to enjoy their offerings which I have enjoyed for years previously seeing as am a local and loved their Shisha garden and music nights. I wish the venue all the best, and the future visitors too, but as for me and my mates (local or not!), this was our last visit ever.

My husband and I went yesterday evening, August 10th, for a snack and a drink. Both being 82, we were not the usual clientele but we were made to feel totally welcome by all the staff, especially the big guy on the door, and looked after superbly. We had an excellent snack and a large glass of decent wine, very reasonably priced. Thanks to all the staff for an experience that was very 'different' for us and that we thoroughly enjoyed.

Orderered a vegan curry but didn’t realise. They added chicken for no extra cost. The curry was delicious. Presentation, tasted amazing and plenty of it. Would defo recommend 🤩

Found this place through a search for shisha lounge on Google. My friend an I decided to check it out! Manager Erin and Staff were friendly and attentive, general vibes were great! Decor 😍, shisha was 👌🏼, prices were reasonable. Defo going back very very soon 🫶🏼

Booked this place for a work Christmas party was very happy to have a private area to enjoy with colleagues. We enjoyed some really nice cocktails and food. The venue also organised for us to have a private DJ and our own bar staff which was great. All in all we had a great time however, unfortunately when leaving the venue the security guard was very aggressive with our whole party and was very disrespectful to all of us for no reason. We tried to speak with him but he kept goading and swearing at us and telling us we were drunk which I can assure you nobody was since we all had to be in work at 7am the next day. This really put a downer on what was a great evening for us!

Not a welcoming place. Cold vibe. Staff rude beyond belief! Drinks cleared away before they were finished. Won’t be back.

On arriving in the bar down stairs we was pleasantly surprised it was lovely nice atmosphere 5pm we went up to the brunch and can honestly say the only thing that was good was the DJ!! Table wasn’t big enough. They asked us to pay the bill before it even started. ( first brunch ever that has happened ) The food was ok nothing to write home about. There was 16 of us and was only allow 5 different choices of bottomless drinks at a time although people wanted different drink. The Prosecco was NOT Prosecco as stated on the menu . It was cheap rubbish fizzy wine .

I had gone to The North Pole in Greenwich for a date. The customer service was 11/10, both Anna and Bikesh the manager were super helpful, patient, friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend the top floor (after brunch). The portion and price was top notch and just for better reference in terms of cultural spice levels, and ingredients, I am an Afro-black person. The food was tasty and I did not pick up on any spice. On the ground ground floor there are two rooms: - A shisha lounge - A bar and dance floor section Both had a good vibes to it but had different demographics (for the night which I had attended). The shisha was more Youthful, chilled, had more of the Afro-Caribbean vibe to it. Especially because they were playing music of that genre in that section. The dance floor was more elderly, lads, ladies and anyone who generally wanted to mix and socialise. Lastly, their cocktails are amazing, tasty and a good portion for the price. Hopefully this review will help you choose whether it’s the right spot for whatever occasion 👌😌🤝

Went for a dinner last week, my friend saw the tik tok with max and cheese on it so we were dying to try it and it was delicious, my friend had porn start martini and I had zombie, omg the best cocktail!!! Def go for it. We shared meat platter and omg the meat was so juicy it’s insane. I def will come back I heard they do Sunday roast too. Oh yeah and thanks to Rojeana (sorry if I spelt it wrong) she was lovely .

I came here with friends on Monday and it was fantastic the food was amazing, quick & fresh. The waiter had great recommendations. The drinks were all tasty. Strong and sweet. We are foodies and chose this venue from tik tok , this has to be the worst Mother’s Day lunch in history. We left the majority of the food which was awful , re warmed roast potatoes , the beef was tough and burnt around the edges , frozen mint sauce . Dirty walls, empty salt shakers , rude staff after continuously delivering the wrong food to the wrong tables , the list is endless . I would not even return for free …. Don’t be fooled ppl this place is awful .

What a great evening visited with two of my girlfriends on Saturday night after I watched a food blogger post the most amazing food, and she was right the mac and cheese was amazing and the chicken shish was so so nice. The venue was so nicely decorated with a chill vibe will be returning asap

What a disastrous disappointment. We arrived as a group of 7 for not only a Mother’s Day brunch but also a birthday celebration. This experience was an absolute joke from the offset. Firstly, we had called and asked if we could order from the a La carte menu and was told by Anna that was fine but on arrival was given a Mother’s Day brunch menu and told that was all that was on offer… we were only going for seafood/ platter (as seen on tik tok). The Mother’s Day brunch menu was limited to say the least. The restaurant had 6 families seated. It was not what I would call busy at all. We waited a long time for drinks, we waited a long time for our starters (hummus and pitta). We then waited over half an hour for our mains. The waiters had a very bad attitude, they were not polite. I don’t know if they had an emergency situation but the experience ruined our entire day. The quality of food was shocking (hummus was still part frozen with solidified oil on the top; potatoes from the roast clearly rewarmed. Mocktail ordered twice, came completely different the second time around). Honestly, have not had such a bad experience in a restaurant in an extremely long time. They still tried to charge service charge at 12.5% which was removed but what shocked us the most was the manager confirming that service was bad because of the kitchen but not offering anything as a gesture. We will not be returning.

Called in advance to reserve table.Arrived at restaurant which was not particularly busy.Having been given a choice of seat we sat and waited patiently for a menu to arrive.After 10 minutes of waiting, I had to go up to the bar and ask for a menu.The waitress arrived a further 10 minutes later and asked us "if you guys are ready to order now". My wife is a vegetarian and at the time of reserving the table, I had specifically asked whether a vegetarian roast could be provided, and was informed that it could.Which was reassuring as it was Mothers Day and my wife is very partial to a veggie roast.Which is why I choose this restaurant.We asked for a veggie roast and was told that none was available on the mothers day menu for vegetarians but could have the menu item for vegetarians which was the vegetarian kebab. Which is basically a bowl of white rice and chucks of stir fried vegetables and salad on a pita bread. Something I could have done at home.My wife was most unhappy but as we had travelled a long way and it was far too late to go elsewhere she acquiesced and reluctantly ordered the kebab as this was all that was available for her to eat.There was fish and chips, but not on mothers day. The service was extremely slow and a number of other tables customers could be heard complaining about the slow service. The staff seemed unbothered, uncaring, there was no apparent hustle and no attention to detail. The only saving grace was the manager who appeared to be doing mostly everything himself, whilst the staff slow walked food to the wrong tables twice, which happened on two separate occasions during this visit.It is regrettable that there is a 12.5% service charge. Ordinarily I would complain openly and directly to the manager and refuse to pay this charge, but as it was Mothers Day and I could clearly see the manager was struggled with incompetent staff, and my wife was upset, we finished our main meal declined the desert and left.

I cant thank the management and staff enough for the organisation and effort they put in, to help us celebrate my daughter's 3rd birthday. The venue was fantastic and supberbly decorated. The food was second to none and plentiful and at a very reasonable price. The staff were so helpful and could not do enough for us. Thank you again.

The perfect place for a chilled out Sunday afternoon / evening. forget the traditional pubs. This place is just perfect - amazing beer garden heated as well if I may say. Food is fantastic and of course they have brilliant shisha. A nice way to chill and socialise. Definitely my 'go to' for a nice evening.

When we arrived they told us the restaurant was closed. Why would you do that? We could have eaten in the bar or the garden but who wants that when you’ve booked a restaurant table? Unbelievable.

We went to the North Pole on Friday 29th October for a Halloween event. We had an amazing night. The staff were warm and friendly the DJ's were on point and the atmosphere was fantastic. I highly recommend this bar

I booked a table for 7:30pm for 3 people, was asked to provide my card details as they would charge me £10pp for no show which I know a lot of places do. The booking said that table needs to be returned at 9:30pm which is also fine. When we arrived we were asked to pay £5 entry! Nowhere on the booking, it was mentioned that we will have to pay £5 entry. So this put us in the situation either we pay £5 entry or get charged £10 for no show? My friend asked why we have to pay £5 and ladie at the door said because there is a DJ. we payed and stayed until 10:15pm and there was definitely no DJ playing! The food was below average, my friend went for mix grilled and said had a rubbery and cold chicken, I had a burger and I never even knew you have to chew something so many times. I literally had two bites and then just had my chips and a little bit bun. I know sad! my 3rd friend who had salad was the only one who said her food is alright. The service was slow, we asked for a bill, and the guy with a card machine came only 20min later so we missed our train and had to take the next one! The most annoyed I’m that for all of this I got charged £5 entry - terrible food, no DJ, slow service.

Not Happy!! On arrival i had to pay an entry fee. At no stage was I previously made aware of this. Why was it not on the website or Why wasn't I told when I made the booking? I was informed at the door that had I not arrived £10 would have been deducted from my account!! Why was i not told this at time of booking? I was not directed to my table and had to find my way through the venue to get to my table!! Once at the table I was provided a menu that was so damp I could not turn the pages! I was told its because they are busy. To me this is unacceptable. Whatever you do do NOT order a PinaColda cocktail it is disgusting. Finally... £35 for a shisha pipe??? Hmmmm I guess you can work out I was not impressed.

First time and I didn’t like it! Charged entry even though I booked?! We couldn’t sit where we wanted, even tho they remained empty, the food took hours, had to ask and ask and ask eventually arrived and was taken out the bill. Place is not clean, table sticky ashtray full, music and people too loud and drunk and over over priced. My cocktail tasted like a purée and Prosecco served in plastic cup. I will not be returning and will not recommend.

Booked outdoor garden got put into a separate place. Asked for a shisha was told I they wouldn’t serve it where I was sat. Not to say the manager was rude. But when I made the booking it said outdoor garden so I’m not quiet sure how that worked out. Service was poor waited 45 mins for each drink on top of that they had the never to charge service fee every time I ordered a drink.

Really impressive set up for outside dining in lockdown. The staff were very attentive and almost as happy as we were to be out (we we’re extremely happy) We only had a few small dishes to accompany our drinks but what we had was really very good. The atmosphere was very laid back and chilled. We had a lovely evening socialising, we almost forgot we were in lockdown and outside. We have booked to go again this time for brunch.

Best Sunday roast we’ve had out in ages.We had Lamb and Beef and children had chicken, the meat was fresh and loads of it, veggies were cooked perfect and gravy was delicious. I visited the North Pole for the first time this bank holiday weekend, my friend has been a fair few times and recommended it to me. On first impression the staff were all super friendly, and accommodating to us. The outdoor garden space was really nice, lit up with lights and plenty of heaters and great whilst during these pandemic times! The seating area was all separated with the use of clear screens which I thought was a great idea as I felt safe with social distancing but at same time felt like part of the atmosphere around us. The music was great, the drink sizes were good and the prices are a decent price! I highly recommend you check out North Pole and I shall def be coming back and recommending you.Thank you for a great evening. It was very much needed!!

My first dining experience post lockdown. Took a while for our order to be taken but the food was really nice & fresh. Only downside is we were sat between 2 tables of smokers. It would be nice if there were separate smoking & non-smoking areas.

We had a problem when ordered a vegan meal as they added cheese to the meal. It was altered after asking numerous times if they was eating cheese ( halloumi ) They are not vegan by close.
