Food was great but quantity was less then my expectation.

The food was delicious. Unfortunately I ordered just for me and it was far too much. Would be a lovely meal for two. Quality food really enjoyed it

Lovely little gem We come here a lot for the lunch special Food always tastes great service is second to none and my boy always gets a free Turkish delight after he’s meal ☺️ would fully recommend eating here. Great value for the quality of food

Best hummus I’ve ever had and the grilled kebabs are ALWAYS outstanding. Customer service is excellent as well. They will go above and beyond for their customers- always friendly and generous. Thank you!

First time I ordered from here, waited ages. I ordered a fillet chicken burger with salad and chips. The burger was cold and it was just like a whole chicken leg was just thrown in there was a funny colour I couldn’t eat it as it was of putting, i honestly don’t know how they sent the order like that. The chips were all soggy and also cold. Salad was also not in burger in a separate box and was also horrible. Well disappointed.

Food was poor, soggy fries, lamb ribs had to much fat with no flavour, donar was average, salad was pretty fresh. I also ordered 2 meals which didn’t come with any sauce which every place I have ordered always gives free sauces with meals (chilli and garlic). Hence, I’m giving this place 1 star very bad.

Nice food but got order wrong gave us chips instead of rice. Last time they forgot the houmous. Need to read their orders more carefully but food is always fresh.

First time eating at Ziyafet Not Value for money 3 pieces of chicken and 3 pieces of lamb and a pathetic salad pile of chips £17.95 15% service charge not the best place and presentation of food was terrible will not be going back.

I went to this restaurant twice, but this was the last time I'll go. The waitresses kept asking if they could take the plates away. They asked about 4 times. My daughter was still eating and they asked again. It seemed like they wanted us to leave as quickly as possible.

Having been here numerous times with my family I decided to have a meal with my daughter, server was quite off to be honest, also you used to be able to get rice and chips with a kebab (obviously a smaller portion) but no, you can have either and buy the extra, got my order wrong and blamed me!! Portions are a lot smaller now, they have lost a customer I’m afraid

Ordered the sharing platter for two. Delicious & excellent value for money, could easily feed 3. Everything was cooked perfectly. Complimentary houmous & olives a lovely touch. Friendly staff. Inside could probably do with a lick of paint but don’t let that distract you.

Ima keep it real, I orders off Uber eats with decent expectations, and after spending quite some money on a mixed grill it came stale. The meat had curry seasoning on it? That confused me mostly. One stale slice of pita bread sent with entire order and it smelt nearly gone off. Only surprisingly good thing was the boxed salad. That was fresh. Overall I wouldn’t recommend and that’s just being honest

Ordered from Uber Eats and unfortunately the food was not edible! Half of the meat was completely raw, the edge of the kofte meat was overcooked but the middle was raw. Disgusting! Called the restaurant, they were not helpful at all they said I should call Uber Eats. I would have appreciated a little kindness as they ruined our dinner completely. Will never visit this place or order online again! 🤢

3rd time here unfortunately not good food or service on this occasion. The staff were quite arrogant and unbothered to serve. It was rushed. Chicken pink and had to be sent back. Food tasteless. Won’t be returning.

Der Geschmack und die Qualität des Essens ist Top ! Leider ist die Speisekarte sehr mager, und die Auswahl nicht wie auf der Webseite, diese sollte dringend aktualisiert werden. Das Personal ist eine reine Katastrophe, nach dem Essen war die Bedienung bestimmt 5 x am Tisch, hat aber nie diesen abgeräumt, war sich wohl zu fein dazu. Schlimm wenn man am Tisch keinen Platz hat, und es unordentlich aus sieht. Hier sollte der Chef mal drauf achten, denn nicht Touristen achten darauf und kommen nicht wieder.

EDIT 05/04/24: Unfortunately whilst the below comments were true a few years ago, the place has gone seriously downhill over the past few months. The food is very, very hit and miss, when it's good, it's reasonable but when it's not good, it really is poor. And the above comments only relate to in the restaurant. God forbid you order a delivery! Delivery orders are shockingly poor. Wrong orders, cold food and often, squashed food, out of its container covered in chilli sauce or similar. It's a real shame, this place used to be one of our favourite restaurants so I can only implore the owners to take note of mine and other comments and sort your company out before it's too late. ORIGINAL COMMENTS: Excellent value, friendly staff and above all, fantastic food. The lamb shish was simply fantastic!

AVOID AVOID AVOID If you want very plain less than tasty food this is the place to go Mediterranean prawn starter was served to me after all the others at my table had finished there food I was told by the waiter good prawns take time obviously takes longer to cook tasteless prawns with no hint of garlic Falafel looks like black pudding Waiter was rude when I mentioned the tasteless prawns The Adana was dry and the rice was appalling all stuck together This place used to be good now it’s terrible When are we going to get a decent kebab house in Eltham overall AVOID

The food was either a big hit or a miss for me. The homemade taramasalata was so amazing; I would recommend coming here just for that and meat dishes like the lamb shank. It was massive, tasty & tender, along with the doner meat being a great portion and tasty to satisfy big appetites. The service was good with a nice waiter and the atmosphere was dimly lit. However the lamb meat ball from the hot meze was unfortunately overdone and dry I couldn't eat it as it was so tough. I didn't enjoy the taste of the traditional sausage that much, just 2 very thin slices and it was all served on some brown lettuce.... The prices are a little high in my opinion for the area but the main portion sizes make up for it.

Been here many times, but over years the quality, portion size and service has gone down hill. Experience this time was Terrible. Had a table for 6 and waited well over an hour for our meals (only doner & salad) nothing elaborate- even had to ask twice when wound the food be ready. When it finally arrived, two of the meals were stone cold and had to be sent back, plus they forgot one order all together. The staff are miserable and unfriendly. They were also too busy with the Uber Eats/Takeaway service to be bothered with the customers in the restaurant. I prefer to support an independent, but wont be back. Rox next door will have my custom from now on.

Been many times but sadly the food, portion size and service has gone down hill over time. Food took over an hour to arrive, two of the meals were stone cold and sent back, plus one meal was completely forgotten. Staff rude, miserable and unfriendly. Will not be returning. I’ll frequent Rox next door from now on.

Their white source is amazing. I usually get lamb shish and lots of white source. It never disappoints!

We mostly choose this great restaurant for our special occasion and celebration. Our last time was as always a huge hit. We enjoyed the Steak (cooked to absolute perfection, as a steak should be ,melt in the mouth perfect)and potato's with a side salad and delicious souces. Service was again as usual with attention to detail. Thank you Ziyafet team for making our special ocasiones so special 💖 We highly recommend this venue.I add extra 5 star 🌟 🌟🌟🌟🌟

Nice service, surprisingly quiet at lunch

My friends and I went at lunchtime today 8th Feb 2024 . This was my first visit, though one of our party is a regular visitor and was her recommendation that we booked a table . We all chose different meals, from the very reasonably priced two course lunchtime menu, which had good choices of Vegetarian options too. The service was friendly, swift and unobtrusive. When asked if they had any Biscoff to go with the lovely Coffee, they even went out and bought some especially ! We all agreed we had a tasty lunch and would be back . Two courses and coffee £21 each ! There were some lovely looking desserts on the Menu, but we was too full from the plentiful and freshly prepared lunch . Thank you, for making it so nice for us !

Fatty meat asked by waitress was food ok told her the lamb was fatty she just looked at me, then the lady behind counter came over and asked the same question told her the same and she just looked at me and walked off. no sorry, no discount. why ask the question and no care and then not correct the problem. Gone down hill since last visit

The mixed kebab is absolutely fantastic 👌 and for £17 collection is well worth it chicken shish/donner and lamb shish/donner

Approached this restaurant to give it a try but as we approached from opposite I noticed the blind over the restaurant entrance was absolutely filthy and covered in what looked like bird droppings, could hardly see the name of the restaurant.This put off us using the restaurant so didnt go in

If i could give zero i would. Spent £40 on a platter with food that is not even fresh. No taste too. Very dirty place and freezing. However as my parents told them nicely they are unhappy they did not give a care in the world. Since they have come home they have been going toilet and vomitting! Shocking as they should actually want to keep customers happy rather than giving them food poisoning! I do not recommend at all

Firstly, we have been supporting this restaurant since it opened. Ordered the meals with a request that the mixed donor was to be well done, the same as each visit. The waiter replied that he likes that way, Well, the donor was very lightly cooked, not return visit by the waiter to check the food was all good. The chips were okay, and the salad bowl. Did not touch the donor. Informed the waiter. The bill was full price and needed to return to the restaurant 5 minutes later as overcharged as well. £5.00. This is the last time we will be visiting this place. It's time to find somewhere else. £65.00 and going home hungry.

Just had a mixed meat meal. I have never had soggy chicken before. But there is a first time for everything I guess. Most of the time it's OK in there. But we won't be returning.

I love the food here, not so much the actual restaurant and service, unfortunately. The restaurant was freezing, the people on the table next to us agreed. I put my scarf on! We both had a starter, and while we were still eating them, the waitress asked if we'd like our mains. I said once we've finished our starters please, but she brought the food over anyway. It felt like we were in a fast food restaurant. Staff generally seemed more interested in chatting among themselves and a few people they seemed to know, and the delivery drivers who kept popping in and out. Didn't feel very welcome at all, such a shame. Very rarely do we not leave a tip, but we didn't tonight.

Ordered the mixed Kebab, lovely, could not fault it. I would highly recommend.

We cane to eat last night as my mother in law booked my sister in laws birthday meal there. However as on arrival we felt the waiter and waitress attitude and was rush to order and eat. Also they kept coming over and and removing plates when people was still eating. The food was very pricey but wasn’t presented well at all. I would not recommend these place at all

The delivery never turned up, they told us that just eat had not sent a driver! How can it be marked as delivered if we never received the food!

I have had the same food choice on other occasions and it has been perfect. This time, the lamb and chicken shish were very lean and succulent as usual, but the lamb and chicken donner meat was dry and looked more like dry scraps of meat. The salad was also disappointing this time too. I do not eat chips or fries at home or whenever I eat out. Ziyafet's chips are the only ones that I eat a few of, given that they still have some potato skin on and are never greasy.

The order was completely wrong and when I contacted the restaurant they was not interested in helping me and just said I had to contact just eat even though I spent nearly £50 they didn’t want to give me the time of day

I’ve this order a few times but for some reason this time wasn’t the same portion it normally was. The rice portion was very small, not much of chicken wings. For the amount of money is charges could of been better. Now I’m think if I should ever order again. Thank you

Unfortunately they got my order wrong and they sent me a normal moussaka instead a vegetarian one that I ordered. It was not nice to find mince meat in my mouth after I haven’t eatery it for 10 years

Second time I've ordered from here, won't be going anywhere else. Food , hot, fresh ,salad & chilli sauce lovely. Had mixed shish kebab, comes with chips or rice so no need to order separately. Excellent.

The disappointment was that simple items which other take aways give complimentary was not included ie. Pots of chilli and/or garlic sauce. D the rice was plain steamed rice...again less than expected of a restaurant such as Ziyafet. Otherwise, the meat was delicious and beautifully cooked

This is the best Kebab I have had not just in Eltham but in London. The lamb shish is so tender and full of flavour

Don't really know what happened here, both chicken shish were fine, apparently, but my land diner was Luke warm and the chips cold and a little limp, definitely not a patch on previous deliveries nor previous visits to the restaurant when we've eaten in. I think I wasted my money on my toner and chips

Our first time trying this restaurant so we got the Ziyafet Special Kebab with chips. The food that arrived was delicious and the quantity was great. Unfortunately no chips arrived with our order and that is the reason I gave fewer stars for the service. If they were not missing I'm sure it would have been all 6 stars.
