I had a wonderful experience this morning with a young lad who served me. He was super friendly and seemed to genuinely enjoy his work. It’s so nice to see people like him making a positive impact and brightening everyone’s day!

Not one to leave reviews usually, but we left so full and happy with our experience I felt we had to share. What a lovely place for food and drinks. popped in for lunch on a Sunday afternoon and the food was really good, the service also was second to none.myself partner and 2 little boys really enjoyed our meals! And the owner and his wife are so lovely and welcoming, we had a lovely chat and they was so accommodating. Would 100% recommend, my partner said the Sunday lunch was up there with one of the best he’s had! I really wish them well

Nice Sunday lunch but very limited dessert choice, the only dessert available was cherry Eaton mess or ice cream everything else had run out. I liked the sound of cherry Eaton mess which I ordered but when it was delivered it was strawberry, no sign of cherries so I sent it back. Main course was nice though.

Lovely little cafe that we came to while on a camping trip ready for the transport festival Monday. food was great and came quickly, waitress who served us was very polite and friendly- young lady with dark long hair up in a clip. But as we were getting ready to leave another of the waitresses ( short haired girl) rudely started having a go raising her voice aggressively at young lady who served us while customers were able to hear it all, VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. she’d be sacked in a second if it were my establishment. In our time there she seemed to be the one not doing much work at all while the other 2 waitresses done it all around her. This is our second year coming here but as long as this woman is working there we will not be returning. Hope the young lady is ok!

Spectacular setting floor to ceiling windows overlooking acres of vineyardsJust outside the medieval charming town of Alfriston it is a long drive to Tasting Room - the kind of entry one is used to in the great vineyard restaurants of Adelaide Hills Margaret River in Australia and Franschoek and Stellenbosch in South AfricaWe did feel we were transported to these countries but such good news for UK as there is little in the way of this in Bordeaux To cap it off the food was eclectic and creative - the gazpacho was topped with iberico ham and floating chorizo croquettes - an acknowledgement to this real Spanish dish. The courgette floor as a main was interesting stuffed with buffalo cheese and other accompaniments such a violet artichoke. The three course menu at £37 good value As there are a limited number of tables it is necessary to book well in advance We will nee backThe chef gained Michelin star at his previous restaurant so he comes here with a reputationTo cap it off the sparkling wines are exceptional - elegant and lingering taste

We had our family Easter lunch here. Couldn't fault anything! Calm, friendly atmosphere, and very welcoming staff. There are plenty of choices on the menu. We went for a roast, which was excellent, both the meat and vegetarian option. Easter special desert was to die for. Good value for money. Definitely recommend this place

We were travelling up to the Lakes from our home in Cheshire and wanted to stop for some lunch. I had mentioned Levens Hall, even though we had not been before. I was very impressed. It was easy and free to park. Everything was easily accessible and situated round a courtyard. We sat outside with our dog. Our lunch order was placed and paid for then brought to the table by very pleasant staff; no waiting and balancing drinks and plates trying to negotiate doorways etc. It was all so efficient. We only had sandwiches, but they were fresh and beautifully presented. Also succumbed to a slice of the delicious beetroot and chocolate cake; one of a variety of tempting cakes on offer. We visit the Lakes a couple of times a year. Levens Hall will be a regular stop en route for us from now onwards.

A group of 13 women had a Pensioner’s Lunch here which was two courses for £14.95. There was a large choice of dishes, the food didn’t take long to come out and the young waiters were very obliging. We were in a lovely room with Wedgwood Blue walls. Incidentally, the chips were some of the best I have ever tasted!

Multiple visits, usually very pleased with the dining experience. This time, not so much. Service was fine, the Bone Dry Riesling was excellent, although heavy mark up. I must say the small plates were pretty, well presented but over priced. Tinned anchovies £10 for 4, you can buy a whole tin for £7. If the description included the term “tinned” I wouldn’t have ordered them. The biggest disappointment was the Quail, beautifully presented but terrible texture and cold. The waitress did ask me what was the issue with the dish, I told her, but that was the end of that. £135 for a selection of cold dishes, apart from the chips which were nuclear. Shame really, won’t be returning anytime soon. Initially a “quirky” dining experience however once you become a regular it seems to lose its appeal.

Food was extremely poor and so was the customer service. I ordered the saffron risotto and it because it was the last order of the day the meal was poorly done. Family and I wouldn’t go back

Best Kebab Shop Around! Absolutely love this place! The food is always amazing; fresh, flavorful and perfectly cooked every time. You can really taste the quality in every bite. The staff are lovely too and always happy to help. It’s great to have inside seating as well, making it a nice spot to sit down and enjoy your meal. Definitely my go to kebab shop!

Oscuro como un perro. Decoración espartana. Sillas incómodas. Acalambrado. ¡Me alegra no haber pagado!
