Costa Coffee in Luton

Costa in a Tesco. Overpriced food. Not enough staff, so slow tedious service. Only one oven for toasties, making job slower.

Jake is an outstanding guy and a fantastic staff member. I used to be a regular for years, but hadn’t been there in over a year. Yet, he still recognized me and remembered my usual drink. That’s what I call reliable service.

Love this Costa, the staff are amazing!

A nice coffee shop inside Tesco, right at the back after Tesco main entrance. It has nice seatings and atmosphere.

Coffee was on point. Served by this lovely lady with a gentle. Very polite and professional. Had no issues at all.

Always friendly staff & a nice atmosphere. You can see that people are very relaxed sitting there. Drinks always nice and hot.

Food was delivered to incorrect address. Driver called but would not bring it to the correct listed address and marked it as delivered..

Chocolate melted after packed directly on top of hot food instead of separately as usually food deliveries provided.

A member of staff was putting chocolate tiffin on display behind the counter and dropped 2 pieces on the floor. She told another member of staff Amy. Who said it's okay. They weren't there [on the floor] for long!!!!!!!!!!!!! Needless to say the floor is not clean. I love chocolate tiffin but won't be eating here again.

Nice cake and coffees. Atmosphere a bit sterile, but shop not big enough to have room to relax.

It's a Costa in Tesco what's not to like!!!

so many issues with my order. wrong item was sent. I ordered a panini got a sandwich with a totally different filling. gingerbread latte didn't come with any cream or gingerbread man. i could also barely even taste the gingerbread in the latte. in addition to this i ordered a decaf latte but my heart is now racing so they obviously sent me a normal latte. extremely unhappy with this order and have raised it with just eat.

Lovely hot chocolates and sandwiches were delicious, very pleased.

Are you ordered on Just Eat and unfortunately for some reason, just a plain latte was unavailable on the app, so I ordered a cappuccino and I wrote in the note. Please can you make it as a latte and they did and I’m so if I can have a taste amazing I love Costa

First time ordering from Costa using just eat. was very happy with my order. the gingerbread latte came with a separate cup with fresh squirty cream and gingerbread man. the ham & Wensleydale in cranberry ciabatta was really tasty. i would definitely order from Costa again using the just eat app. the delivery driver was also friendly too.

sadly this branch of costa coffee is the worst in my oppinion.

Not impressed by the sausage bap. It was cold and overcooked. The coffee was just warm. ☹️☹️

Good coffee shop in Tesco store, so good facilities.

Not a fan of the new decor and especially the uncomfortable seats but that's beyond the stores control. Service is always brilliant and it's the cheapest coffee in the area

Friendly and efficient staff, great food, great coffee.

Nice to go for tea and cake, but the lift is mostly out of order, but that is down to tesco and not Costa

Friendly in-store Costa upstairs at rear of Tesco Extra. Just been revamped with comfy seats and new decor. Staff always friendly. Reliably good cup of coffee

Nice and helpfull staff. Try there new christmas drink. Toblerone latte and toblerone hot chocolate. Taste awful. Nothing like the chocate. Pass this one!

On making payment, card didn't register contactless tap. Basically accused of trying to steal drinks when didn't notice this. Very poor customer service.

Not the best organised, you would think a coffee shop needs two people in it for the morning rush, there is always only 1 working at that time, too long of a wait

Very good once you find it. However it's very well hidden, presumably to leave space for Tesco store and Costa Coffee head office staff, based not far away. I walked all round Tesco's, including outside, looking for it. You need to use the secret password which is "OK, I give up, where's the Costa coffee please, I'm desperate!".

We stop off here on a regular basis as it’s a convenient meeting point for family living up north. Initially it’s a bit confusing to locate inside the Tesco store as there’s no visible signs - head towards the far right hand corner and it’s upstairs on a mezzanine floor. It can get busy, especially late morning but there’s plenty of seating. Have too say that all staff are friendly and quick to clear tables

Probably the best Costa in the country. The staff are so good. They are polite, attentive and respectful. Some how they make a standard latte/cappoccino extra special. Highly recommended.

Very nice coffee, great atmosphere(even with the tail end of covid) , has a good sized seating area, the staff are pleasant every time we go. Has lift access (@ Rear of store) for Disabled access. Always very clean & Tidy. With full toilet access including Disabled toilet on same level

I love coming here for coffee! The staff are so very friendly, the atmosphere is lovely and it’s very spacious. They have a good selection of food and drink. It’s also always very clean when I visit which is lovely

The team are great, there is space and feels COVID secure. Toilets could do with being cleaner, but I find that in all Costas, think they need to improve on their toilet cleaning regime as a company!

im queuing 10 minutes, when im want to order the coffee the manager said just cash no card. excellent customer services !

Typical costa. Staff are somewhat friendly/polite just to take your order/money & hope they've done it right. Nice seating area and decent quality. Well maintained in that aspect.

Lovely staff especially David who served us today. Many tables to sit at and comfortably located upstairs in the Tesco, Dunstable store.

I visit this tesco costa quite frequently. Ordered a Brie, bacon and Cranberry panini, carmel slice and a hazelnut laté. Instead what i got was Brié, bacon and Cranberry panini a salted chocolte chrismas cake and a praline laté. I dont know how that managed to happen to get my order completly wrong and there are only two ladies running the cafè. When i came to sit down there a 11 tables with trays of empty costa glasses and plates in abundance, making it difficult to find a table. I dont know if they are short staffed but definately need someone on the shop floor tidying the tables and making them good for paying customers. This costa is a bizy one and needs to be kept clean at all times as there are not many places to sit. The atmosphere is very cool, quite and a relaxing place to have a cuppa. Ill come again and hopefully standards will improve.

Had toast and tea for £2 . Worth the money

very disappointed...!! They have mentioned online opening time 6:30am..so I planed my journey accordingly and when I reached there the staff told me it’s 7am we can’t serve you before 7 and the worst thing that it’s placed on the other side of the Tesco..parked car and walked all the way to the other side then stairs that’s all the time I had and I couldn’t get my coffee...waste of time..such a big company should make this type mistake..

Regular customer to this particular Costa, occasionally a bit of a queue, but staff are always very friendly and helpful!

Costa in tesco located in the back of the store with access via lift or stairs sits on the floor overlooking the store plenty of seating and table's with some having power points to change or run your phone / laptop, selling the usual costa pre-packaged snacks and fair coffee is made fresh to order and hot snacks are heated then bought to your table if eating in. Also has disabled accessible toilet facilities inside the cafe for ♿ users.
