Yopo in City of London, Westminster

Visitamos aquí un sábado por la tarde, ya que había reservado el almuerzo de 3 platos veuve clicquot conjunto. Reservé temprano, ya que acabamos de volar esa mañana, así que el restaurante no estaba demasiado ocupado y bastante relajado. Se hizo mucho más ocupado y ruidoso más tarde cuando llegaron muchas reservas para el té de la tarde. Me pareció que había una buena selección en el menú y muy buena relación calidad-precio a £ 30 la cabeza, aunque me pareció ridículo que una copa adicional del mismo champán era de £ 24 , especialmente cuando una copa era 2 / 3 lleno. Tuve que pedirle a otro servidor que lo recargara ya que nuestra camarera dijo que lo haría y nunca regresó! Disfruté de nuestras opciones de almuerzo, para comenzar pedimos ostras (no incluidas en la oferta) luego tostadas de chorizo y tomate, muy buena porción, ensalada de burrata, tan fresca y cremosa. Pollo con suero de mantequilla y paleta de cordero, ambos deliciosos. Acompañantes y postres que aunque somos pequeños eran solo el dulce necesario para terminar la comida. Me gusta este hotel y sus diferentes áreas de comer / beber y volvería a cenar en este menú.

Visité este establecimiento dos veces, ambas con amigos. Probamos el filete, jamón, ostras, camarones... Todos los platos eran muy deliciosos, y disfrutamos mucho de la comida. Sin embargo, lo que más nos impresionó no fue solo la increíble comida, sino el increíble servicio proporcionado por el gerente y la camarera, Karina. Estuvieron atentos a nosotros en todo momento, anticipándose a nuestras necesidades con cuidado, brindando un servicio de lujo.

A fancy restaurant in the same building as a high end (and expensive hotel). Fancy food, Fancy decor, good service but a bit overpriced. The location could be better

Delicious creative food, attentive staff and quirky interior designs. Great place and a really nice bar. The octopus starter was honestly made to perfection and I didn’t know that a simple pollock dish can be so flavoursome. Our cocktails were brilliant and overall it can be said that the experience was certainly worth the money.

My friend made the reservation and was told only 1.15pm was available, odd since there were only half a dozen other diners from when we arrived until leaving after 3pm. Delightfully charming and attentive servers, however, the food was average in portion size and quality. Complimentary glass of Veuve Clicquot: nice! ........extra charge for sourdough bread with butter topped with some red and black sprinklings alongside over spiced olive oil. I am still unsure if we actually ate in Yopo since the menu had 'Jurema' written on it. The restaurant is inside the Mandrake Hotel so you walk through dark corridors into a lobby, absolutely no signage anywhere. The route to the basement loos went down ugly staircase into yet more darkened corridors with black doors indicating nothing. Everything is clean and sylised with lush tropical plants.

Very pleased with the service specially from Arman who gave us complementary Champagne and to Giovani who served as really well.

Yasmina and Fulvio were super super friendly and we had a great evening thanks to them! Food was phenomenal and the service even better

Had a great time with great service; was running late and Yasmina offered to place our order over the phone; she suggested some lovely dishes and was so hospitable to our needs for when we arrived. Would go back again

The mandrake has a nice atmosphere, from the architecture to the music- a place way different than anywhere else. My husband and I discovered this hotel just recently and we decided to check it out. We stayed in the hotel for 3-4 days had dinner at the YOPO Restaurant. The dinner was delicious and the staff- one in particular - Yasmina at the desk has made our stay so memorable - she remembered my husband’s my name throughout our stay which I find difficult nowadays in hotels. She has been so hospitable and is one of the reasons we will never forget the Mandrake.

Wonderful dining experience at YOPO for my birthday with my boyfriend. Velvet wild ambience , calming yet full of curiosity , sensational food (fig cheesecake to make the soul sing) and a lovely waitress (Austeya) who made the experience all the more idyllic. One of the very best restaurants in London full of flavours you’ll be dreaming about for months ahead. Can’t wait to to go back!

I rarely write reviews, but the service by Jasmina and Juan made our evening! They accommodated and gave us the best seat in the house, so friendly, so helpful, we are super happy! Thank you!!!

The atmosphere was amazing- from the music, to the food that you cannot find everywhere in London, to the service! The management was so friendly and welcoming. One of my favourite restaurants and hotels in London. Not to forget that the whole interior is so beautiful, the owner certainly has taste.

Mandrake is one of my favourite London hotels, and Yopo is one of my favourite restaurants. The atmosphere is sexy, the food is amazing, the service is excellent and the cocktails are delicious.

Would highly recommend. The perfect way to celebrate a friend’s birthday. Food was delicious & great selection for vegetarians
