A very delicious Turkish restaurant. The staff were nice, especially the employee Josh. He was very helpful and helped you by choosing the dishes. It is not forbidden by the Arabs. It is one of the restaurants that I recommend and will return to. Prices range from medium to high.

I write these as someone living in Istanbul: It's the only restaurant I prefer for both breakfast and dinner when I'm in London. I usually go to a restaurant once, but if I'm in London, I come to Sofra many times, they have very high quality flavors, these are flavors that you can't even find in Istanbul, Londoners, appreciate them. This is my favorite place in London. For those who don't know, Sofra is one of the most famous restaurants in London. There are long queues in front of it, which is not a common thing in London. People wait in line like the queue for public bread. A big round of applause to the table for successfully representing Turkish cuisine. Even though the prices are a little high, it's worth it. Taste:5, quality/price:5/5

Great place in Mayfair, the prawn linguine pasta is one of the best in town! A must try 😋😋 the mixed grill was also delicious, we tried the lentil soup, hummus and tatziki yougart dip, For dessert the lemon cheesecake was light and fresh and topped it off with hearty turkish tea 🫖 Note to restaurant, it would be nice if you made your signature turkish tea complementary 😁🤩 If you have one place to visit in London, make it Sofra 😍

Everything we ate was very delicious, especially Hünkar liked it and everyone should try the baklava, I think you cannot eat anything bad here, just the prices are a bit expensive.

We ordered Hünkar Beğendi. They did it really well. The meat was like Turkish delight. But even the tea that I thought would be a treat was charged. Buttermilk was £5. The appetizer was just hummus and was very small. I don't have any general expectations from employees, it's the human condition. But while one gentleman was very cheerful, the other was very serious. That's your chance. We went because it was one of Hüseyin Abi's places. But I won't go again. It's very expensive, I don't think it's worth the money.

I can say that it was the best meal we had on our London holiday. We went to Sofra Myfair. The food was delicious. Mr. Coskun and Mr. Fatih (2x), the employees, were very helpful and welcomed us with a smile. We also thank them for this. I definitely recommend you go.

Pedimos un tagine de cordero que juro que se hirvió allí y luego. This restaurant has been there for decades. I used to go there for lunch with my colleagues when I was working in the area. I went back there again and I had fabulous dishes. I could catch up with my ex-colleague with a delicious meal. It was very busy but had a nice atmosphere.

Lovely little restaurant which we came by chance. The staff were amazing. Very friendly and relaxed atmosphere. The food was delicious. I had the mink fish spicy with rice and my husband had the salmon. Great restaurant and we will be back again. The wine was also very good as we are very fussy!

This is the best Turkish restaurant in London. The lamb was delicious. The lentil soup was so tasty. The pita bread And hummus starter was an unexpected and delightful treat. Thank you so much for making our time in London special. The window table was picturesk.

We were staying around the corner at a nice hotel called 9 Herford and were just walking around and found this place. Did not think anything of it initiallt but wow were we suprised. We went there twice in three days for dinner. We had beef mousaka and salmon. Best mousaka i ever had and the slmon was perfect. Portions were very large. Food was perfectmand staff was perfect. The only thing strange was linen tablecloths but paper napkins. I would go back in a heartbeat. It is locatedmin the Shepaher’s market area. Try it. You will really like it.

My daughter's 11th birthday, a wonderful evening with delicious food and great service. We ate there three times during our 9 days in London and it was excellent every time!

Its ok for some basic food i guess but is quite over priced for what it is & youre certainly paying for location. The Turkish wine and the bread are really good i must say! Staff arent great, apart from the 2 who i assume are the owners. The rest of the staff dont seem to understand a word of English. Not bad, not great, its ok.

The food was very average and I wouldn’t wholeheartedly say it was very fresh. The water was tepid we had to ask for ice and despite several frantic waiters dashing about, you can only place your order through the manager. There is a service charge and you get a bland complimentary hummus and bread which was quite liquid and oily. My friend has the chicken and rice and I had the lamb/beef mince wrap that was drenched in sauce and quite limp salad. The chips were quite disappointing as they build them as being exquisite on the menu! Would we return, probably not it’s more aimed at the clientele that live locally.

In my opinion, it is not the old table. The food and service has gone down a lot. The place I have been coming to for years is Sofra, but this time it was in the classroom. While waiting for the bill, 4 people at the table drank the tea, 2 people drank the tea, I left it behind. Why do you charge 4 people to pay for the tea? Anyway, Mr. Ozer, Sofra is Turkish hospitality in London. It used to show, but the place has changed over time...

I have to definitely agree with others about the service. They are all smiles trying to get your custom but once your bums on the seat they just don’t care. Waiters stood outside smoking. To be fair the food was quite nice, tasty hummus and nice falafel but the bread didn’t taste fresh. This restaurant has a prime position but just give the impression they can’t be bothered.

They speak harshly even when greeting you, the service is extremely bad, I personally would not recommend you to come here as a family, but it is your decision.

Everything was perfect, especially the food and service. although they didn't have a baby changing room but they welcomed us to downstairs so we can change our baby in private but it would've been good of they had a changing room just in case . But hey the food was wonderful.

We went twice and were greeted very badly both times and were not seated. Mr. Hüseyin has a customer reception officer who does not suit his smiling face and quality. He's literally scolding you. Behaviors that do not suit Turkish hospitality and friendliness. If you want to be demoralized with your money and be scolded, you should definitely go. If I go hungry for a week, I won't go to the Sofra branch anymore.

Food quality was good. Portions utterly dreadful. 2 spoons of rice and 1 skewer of lamb £23. Ridiculous. I politely complimented the waiter on the taste but mentioned the portions have decreased. He went off in a huff.

I tried it by chance, and thank God we succeeded 🙏🏼. We ordered Iskender kebab, Alfredo pasta, and a meat burger. The taste was not a mistake. All the dishes were delicious and the meat was melted. I think their regime seated modest families outside because I noticed that those inside were all foreigners and the tables had alcoholic beverages on them 😅🥂🍸

We booked to go to this restaurant in Shepherd's Market with friends last night and without exception it turned out to be one of the worst restaurant experiences I have had in a long long time. We sat outside as it was a warm evening and we were expecting a relaxing evening. However we were hurried, the food was not good and tasted like it had been made the night before and re-heated. One of our friends hadn't even finished her first course when they brought out the main course dishes. My partner's Lamb Tagine was so bad she couldn't eat it and when we complained the waiter just smiled! The mussels I had were almost inedible and when the bill arrived my partner insisted that we didnt pay for her lamb dish so they removed it from the bill but the manager acted like the fault lay with us!! I cannot even say the service was that good either. Suffice to say we will never return!

قمت مع صديقي بزياره الي مطعم سفر تركي لبناني وطلبت كثير من الطلبات ومن ضمن الطلبات طلبت سلطه فتوش واذا بها حشره وعندما دعيت مدير المطعم قال لي اتت من برا ولم تكن موجوده وكانت جميع التوابل علي الحشره شي محزن قالي لي اغيرلك بسلطه اخري فقلت لها لا لا يوجد اي ضمان بان الطلبات نظيف قطع الحديث معي وتركني مدير المطعم التركي فلا طعام لذيذ ولا تعامل جيد ويفرض عليك خدمه والطعام غالي جدا بالنسبه الي المطاعم الفاخر وتاخير الطلبات الي نص ساعه فلا انصح به عن تجربه في جميع افرعه سيييييييئ للغايه في التعامل وغي النظافه

Fantastic meal last night. Warm bread and hummus, followed by Japanese style black cod, Fillet of Seabass and Su Muhallibisi dessert. Timings, service and food quality all perfect. Special mention to Fatih our waiter who was Brilliant. Would definitely recommend but must be pre-booked

It is so-so . Service is barely ok as first impression counts the most. When we first entered staff was a bit impolite to offer us a seat we would like. We did not want to sit next to the door but he told us that restaurant is small so acted as if there is no more option in fact it was not busy time and only two tables were occupied when we entered. Then as soon as he noticed that we wanted to leave he changed his attitude and asked where we would like to sit. When it comes to food, it is delicious, meat is cooked very well and tender. However I did not like the way it is served without any salad. Most turkish restaurants usually serve their dishes with salads which I like. I would suggest the restaurant to change their serving dishes and cutlery as most of them are cracked and chipped. Besides that, their bread tray was very messy, I am glad that they used a napkin!
