Food was extremely poor and so was the customer service. I ordered the saffron risotto and it because it was the last order of the day the meal was poorly done. Family and I wouldn’t go back

I brought my graduating daughter here yesterday for a wonderful ladies lunch. Air con made it a welcome oasis in the heat & hubbub of heatwave London. V close to the station. Just left & it's on the left. The host was v congenial. I didn't even bother looking at the menu. I just said 'bring out what you think'. Perfect .. Hope to be back here soon.

The portions are tiny, very over priced. Octopus over cooked. Peri peri prawns not at all spicy. Halloumi cheese dry. Sarges beer served in a asaki glass? £13 for a small glass of wine. Won’t be returning.

Hemos estado yendo al Faro durante los últimos 25 años y estamos tan tristes de que vaya a cerrar. Reservamos para su última semana de servicio y el restaurante estaba pesado. El menú innovador muestra platos británicos y europeos y nuestra comida de 3 platos fue como siempre muy bien presentado y delicioso. El servicio fue excelente y el personal, incluido el chef, estaba charlando con los clientes con un tinte de tristeza por el cierre. ¡Incluso vimos a una dama irse llorando! Es una pena perder un restaurante independiente de calidad cuando Wimbledon está tan sobresaturado de restaurantes y cadenas de baja calidad. Gracias a todo el personal por algunas comidas maravillosas a lo largo de los años, deseándole todo lo mejor para el futuro.

A Shocking Experience at Nando’s Colliers Wood – Saturday, 8th February at 2 PM. I had a truly mind-blowing experience at Nando’s Colliers Wood when I went to collect my order with my son. As it was busy, I stood patiently at the main door, waiting for a staff member to assist me. While I waited, two gentlemen entered and stood behind me. To my shock, when an assistant came over, she completely ignored my presence and immediately addressed the two gentlemen, asking if they were dining in or collecting. I couldn’t believe what I had just witnessed. Thankfully, before they could even respond, the gentlemen pointed out that I was there before them. Yet, even after this, the assistant simply asked me if I was dining in or collecting—without offering so much as an apology. This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable. In this day and age, it is disheartening to see such treatment still occurring. Even if she had genuinely not noticed me, the right thing to do would have been to acknowledge her mistake with a simple, “I’m sorry, I didn’t see you.” Instead, I was left questioning whether my presence was ignored due to my chocolate skin tone—was I too dark to be noticed in broad daylight? Should I try again at night? No one should have to feel invisible or disregarded in such a manner. I truly hope Nando’s takes this feedback seriously and ensures better training for their staff, so no one else has to experience such treatment. PS:Check Staff at 2pm on Sat (Short Mid 20).
