Really like coming here to eat, staff always nice and food always really good. Just a shame no one ever seems to answer the phone and their online ordering platform is always switched off, because I would love to be able to get the occasional takeaway with their lunch deal!

My experience at Nando’s St Andrews, I will have to say, was far from pleasant. Me and a friend visited on a Sunday evening, looking to motivate ourselves after a lengthy studying experience, with more to come. However, our time at Nando’s did no such thing. First of all, we were met with unbecoming staff, who seemed not to be busy, and we were made to wait for an extended period of time before we were shown to our seats. I will have to say the food arrived quickly, but this might be one of the only upsides to our visit. Unfortunately, when our server came with our food, they leant directly over us to place it down, which I would have assumed to be taught against in basic server etiquette. Having felt disgruntled with this, we dug in to our food, but were disappointed to find that the chips were poorly and unevenly seasoned. Moreover, having been to Nando’s frequently in the past, I noticed that the chips seemed different and worse than previously. I would be interested to know if Nando’s had implemented a new recipe, or it was an instance of improper preparation. It is safe to be said that I will not be returning in a hurry.

We arrived at 19:15 and from the get go it felt they didn’t want us there, granted we turned up for a table of 3, not booked but they looked quiet that’s why we popped in. We were told it’ll be half hour for food which we didn’t mind cos we were visiting family. 20:45 we questioned whereabouts our food was, lo and behold our food arrived when we asked no apologies about the delay. I can totally understand if they were busy but they weren’t so there’s no excuse for waiting over an hour and half for food. When our food arrived, you could tell it had been sat on the warmer for a while, my partners coleslaw and salad red hot, flimsy bit of chicken not worth the price at all. My partners mum ordered the new Korean chilli pizza and it didn’t even come cut like I say waiting all that time for food and they didn’t even have the effort to cut and had to butcher with a knife and fork. Granted the smothered platter was okay nothing to shout about. Definitely wouldn’t recommend to anyone, abysmal service staff didn’t look they wanted to be there, stupidly long waiting times for mediocre food. Wouldn’t go there again

Had a lovely lunch here with friends. Chose from a set menu and all the food was delicious. We were served by Sosa who was very charming and attentive - even pointed out to us that the set menu came with a glass of champagne, which we had completely overlooked! Great atmosphere and we were allowed to enjoy a leisurely lunch with no pressure to leave. We have already put another date in our diaries to return- hopefully Sosa will be on duty again!

Recently went to this Nando’s with a friend, and overall it was a lovely experience as always. I’ve never had a bad experience with this Nando’s but there was just a tiny issue, the garlic bread I ordered was very hard and extremely tough to bite into, I really gave me teeth a challenge trying to eat it, but overall the experience was lovely, food was great and the service was quick and friendly as usual!!

Is the cinema going to open anytime soon? I do not understand how any businessess here can survive at the moment. Is Nandos even open? Reading other reviews the whole of tower park sounds like a disaster. 5 stars if your hanging on. Apparently the planning permission even for the cinema sign will take 2 more years.

¡Oh Dios! EVITAR EVITAR EVITAR.

We visited this restaurant for Sunday Roast and were thoroughly impressed. That said, with the utmost respect to the establishment, it's important to note that this is not a budget-friendly dining option. A two-course Sunday Roast with a couple of drinks and an additional side came to nearly £90. However, the quality and portion sizes help justify the price. Each dish was thoughtfully prepared, and the quality of the ingredients was evident in every bite. The roast potatoes were particularly well-executed—crispy on the outside, fluffy inside, and complemented beautifully by a rich, flavorful gravy. Both can be ordered as extra portion if desired. A perfectly roasted parsnip is included as standard, while the carrots and greens are served separately. We also ordered a side of cauliflower cheese, which was creamy, well-seasoned, and delicious. There is a good range of meat options available, including individual servings or a combination of pork with crackling, chicken, and beef. Presentation across the board was excellent. The service was also a highlight. Staff were polite, attentive, and contributed positively to the overall experience. Seating is available both indoors and outdoors (weather permitting). Dining by the river on a warm day would undoubtedly be a lovely option. Since it was a cooler day, we chose to sit inside and found the ambiance warm and welcoming. Advance booking is recommended, though they do their best to accommodate walk-ins when possible. While it may be too pricey for a regular Sunday meal, we’ll certainly return for special occasions or the occasional treat.
