Last night, we had the pleasure of dining at this elegant restaurant, which perfectly combines sophistication with a cozy atmosphere. The food was excellent: every dish, from appetizers to desserts, was prepared with fresh ingredients and presented impeccably. Despite the restaurant being full booked, the service was flawless. The waitstaff were always kind and available, without ever being intrusive. A special thanks goes to Matthew, the waiter who attended to us throughout the evening. His smile and kindness were the cherry on top, enhancing our dinner by making sure we were well attended to throughout the entire evening. A small note, the prices are slightly higher than one might expect, but considering the location and everything else mentioned, it's an expense that can be accepted.

We had the 1917 set menu. The choice and actual food was excellent. Service was ok, drinks seemed to take a while to come but we were sitting outside.

Went to this restaurant with a voucher I was gifted to the value of £150 which was for a “champagne dinner. Food was average, service was poor, got one small glass of champagne each and we were charged for service on top of the voucher despite the total of our meal valuing to £80. The 3 course menu would’ve cost £25 each as it was midweek if we had paid upfront. Also Super limited menu if using a voucher. It’s Probably a fine restaurant for a cheap meal if you get a midweek deal, but would not recommend buying vouchers for any Ivy restaurants as it ends up costing a lot more than if you pay upfront.

We were a group of 6 women celebrating a 60th. Food was an amazing, We were served by Finn who was outstanding, he ensured we were looked after and left happy even though we couldn’t stay for coffee after our meal. Only let down was the music was quite loud for lunchtime.would definitely return

We were a group of 6 celebrating a special birthday. Finn looked after us and nothing was too much trouble. From the moment I walked in the service was very good and this continued throughout our stay. Food was delicious too.

Very disappointing service throughout the evening. 6 of us were initially placed on a tiny bar table with a pillar in the middle and no hope of being able to dine comfortably. This booking was made a month beforehand so not a last-minute squeeze in. Management agreed to move us but very little grace or any apology for the inadequate seating. We ended up in another squashed booth which should seat 4/5. The food was okay, however had to ask 4 times for a soft drink and a long time for the dessert menu. One waiter who was great was clearly carrying his poorly trained and quite rude colleagues. I didn’t even bother with pudding as by this point I’d given up the will to live. The manager did apologise but yet we still had a bill with items not ordered.Classic case of cramming in far too many seatings with poor customer service the result. Will not be returning.

Something's going wrong in restaurants. We left the Granary last evening around 10:00 pm in a state of relief having been assaulted for two hours by high decibel dance music. Despite multiple requests to have the volume reduced the DJ relentlessly cranked up the volume. We were not the only complainants - at various stages it seemed other diners had got there ahead of us. We ate our food wondering how long we might have to endure this before we could leave - not the environment to have a pleasant conversation over dinner with American friends hosting us at a restaurant we recommended. We can only assume this was the DJ's warm up gig for his maximum decibel performance later in the night. Good luck to him. He has just lost four customers for his restaurant employer and probably many more besides. There are still some customers who can sustain a conversation over a two hour period without relying on their smart phones or the DJ to fill in the gaps. Please review your music policy to revert to an appropriate restaurant ambience. In case I forget the food is still quite good and the service attentive, so disappointing to have to drop it!

i visited the restaurant on monday and everything was fantastic from the moment I stepped my foot there, the receptionist at the door was very friendly and she gave us a table even if it was very busy, the waiter was extremely attentive and he gave us great raccomendations. I have never before felt like such a nuisance in a restaurant. We had booked a table from 6 - 7.30pm but within less than 1 hour a grumpy waiter interrupted our conversation with a card reader and a demand that we pay immediately because we didn't want to order dessert and they wanted our table. By 7.15pm, and whilst I was still finishing off my drink, an equally miserable second waiter had come and nagged us again. Food was OK. My shepherd's pie showed no sign of vitamins but it did arrive with a curious side dish of extra gravy. But even if it had been the most delicious preparation imaginable it would have a tough job making up for the lack of hospitality.

Booked to eat at 8pm. Arrived to a queue of people all of whom had booked but were waiting for their table to become free. The restaurant clearly over books and were over 25 mins late offering us our table. The restaurant was packed so we went elsewhere.

One of those restaurants that ask if you have a reservation and then are aghast when you say no even though you just checked the online reservations and every slot was available. Thus we were out on table behind a pillar. The look and feel of the place is lovely but it became clear pretty soon that it’s part of The Ivy brand but just a bit more diluted Nice house champagne but starter of burrata, blood orange and pistachio came with at least 15 pips which could have been mission for the pistachio - I assume the chef has shares in dentistry. Staff seemed uninterested when I pointed it out. Vegan burger was sloppy but chips were nice We left feeling underwhelmed

Didn't leave entirely happy from here unfortunately. Was charged almost £5.00 for a 4 I repeat 4 pieces of olives - ordered it to have a bit of nibbles before the main arrived. We had some water for the table, and when we finished it, it didn't get refilled. The waiter was too busy, so we couldn't even get their attention. I understand the pricing in restaurants, however we also paid service charge on top of everything as well. It would be ideal to give your customers some more value as prices are high but the service offered was mediocre.

Booked a table for 4 for birthday celebration. It was our first visit. The ambience and environment is good. It was ver busy for Thursday evening. The waiting staff were very professional although service was a little slow. My daughter already viewed the menu on line and mentally selected her dishes from the January menu. The available dishes were from February although it was the 30th of January. Another guest ordered a rare steak but was given it well cooked. Admittedly the steak was removed and replaced with no fuss. The rest of us were almost finished with the main course by the time the rare steak arrived. All the food however was well presented, starters were particularly good. Overall however the celebrant enjoyed the evening.

I have been to this restaurant twice now, I won't be going back for a third visit. It's a big space but the tables are packed in so tight it becomes a very overcrowded noisy, cramped and stressful environment. We booked a table for three and was given a table for two, me being perched at the side of a table with barley enough space for two plates never mind three wasn't going to work. We were ready to walk out when the waiter found us a proper table. Myself and my son ordered chicken supreme which was supremely disappointing, I likened it to a flat breaded chicken from Iceland with a fried egg on top, it came with some strange gravy and could not distinguish what it was supposed to taste of. My wife ordered fish and chips which is usually a safe bet, the fish batter was soft and soggy and to had to remove the batter before eating the fish. This was supposed to be a birthday celebration with complimentary cake for desert, the cake arrived with a small hole in the top where a candle once was, obviously taken out and used elsewhere with birthday candles in short supply. This restaurants greatest asset are its staff, hard working and rushed off their feet in an oversubscribed restaurant, professional and courteous at all times. Overpriced and overrated.
