Unless you like eating in the dark with service as intrusive as a hovering mother hen, don’t bother. The use of mobile phones at table was mandatory in order to see the food or to read the menu. It was only the rather excellent chocolate dessert that saved the evening.

I am back dear followers! One artist, one objective and one love: enjoying memorable experiences around the jaw dropping Central London! Do you wonder where to go when fancying a posh British style dinner inda City, perhaps with your date?? Well, try this place but be careful with it. First of all, watch out for the host Katy. She looks so pretty and pleasant that you couldn’t see her mean manners coming. She brought me to a little table placed exactly in the middle of the restaurant, which was quite empty considering that was quite early (around 5 pm). Asking to move to the side due to my shyness she went quite nuts, saying that yes, a table was available but just until 7:30 pm. Thinking that more than 2 hour eating are enough, I decided to accept the mean offer of the scary host. Going ahead, I dared to order a classic burger with bacon with her. Looking at me with angry eyes, she asked me if I wanted it “just” with bacon. Well, I thought, do they offer just a bun and a slice of bacon in the menu in this place? Quite odd but brilliant, I thought. Having a look to the menu, I pointed the cheese burger with bacon. Wrong move. The host got really mad saying that that one was another burger. ‘That is fine,’ I replied shaking, ‘I’ll have it’. The burger was delivered quite quickly. It was okay. The atmosphere is quite romantic and the design of this place is absolutely lovely. Also, if you do not pay too much attention to the terrible sound made by the train up there it is also quite pleasant to dine! You will be deciding if you would come back…or not! Have a lovely night followers!

The food was okay but overpriced. Service really wasn’t great and one member of staff was particularly impolite. Not what you are looking for when you are paying over £300 for a meal. I would not recommend going here if you are vegan, vegetarian or have an alternative appearance.

Our friend read the negative reviews on here but ignored them and booked for 3 of us. And thank god she did as we would have missed a real food experience. Maybe it has changed but we cant recommend this place high enough. We booked for a pre-theatre meal. We had the tasting menu @ £69 per head which for a prime central location is not expensive. When you think of a tasting menu, you think you are going to be hungry late that evening. Totally the reverse. The food is Turkish/Greek and each dish was superb and there was food left over from the final course as we were bursting. We had great service but then we were eating early and there were not many other people there. If you are used to big streak meals, then this is not for you but if you want a real dining experience in interesting surroundings, try this place. Finally we have no connection to the owners of staff and are not in the restaurant business so the above is a real review (and not some competitor restaurant trying to damage this place).

Review of Gail’s Bakery, Bloomsbury I recently had breakfast at Gail’s Bakery in Bloomsbury, and it was a delightful experience. Opening at 7 AM is a huge plus for early risers, allowing for a leisurely start to the day. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, complemented by the friendly and smiling staff who make you feel welcome right away. The freshly baked pastries are a highlight—each one is delicious and perfectly made. I also appreciated the selection of healthy juices, which are refreshing and a great way to balance out the pastries. Overall, Gail’s Bakery is the perfect place for an early morning breakfast, combining quality food with a friendly vibe. I can’t wait to return!

We were really impressed by the professionalism and efficiency of the events team at Malmaison, Birmingham. Our lunch in a private room ran smoothly despite all our last minute changes, and the the team remained unflappable throughout - nothing was too much trouble. Added to which lunch itself was delicious. Thank you Sarah and team.

We hired the separate Chefs table room for our small intimate wedding. I cannot express what a fantastic service we had, the food was amazing and the communication from Ondrej the chef, was so good and the day was perfect with gorgeous food. Highly recommend.
