Let down by the fact that they couldn't not find out booking with deposit which we had confirmation of and were able to show them. Took too long trying to sort this rather than seating us when they clearly had the space. Were friendly enough. Food was good. Water jugs were grubby. Toilet was a little grubby. Would go back.

We visited The Pancake House as part of a long weekend at Centerparcs, when we also dined at Bella Italia, Huck’s and Cafe Rouge. Value for money was as you would expect where you have a captive audience, but the Pancake House was seriously let down by lacklustre waiting staff, very slow service, really dry pancakes, an omelet that looked like they had reused various chopped up meats and coffee that was undrinkable. By comparison, the other restaurants onsite had lovely staff, great food service and pretty decent food as well. Huck’s was top of my kids’ list.

Visited this place as part of our stay at centre parcs. This is the first time we went back after covid and we have to book now for tables and no longer can turn up and wait The place is busy and the staff looked over worked bless them and the laid took our order but missed my waffle and had to remind which is fine as it was busy I had a coffee pancake and a drink waffle Place is cleanish and the toilets were okish Overall the experience was good and for the price we paid I thought the food did not meet that standards again this is a holiday resort and we didn’t mind paying over the odds and it was a treat but if the price was reasonable I would be tempted to have pancakes or waffles for breakfast ever day I stay there

A fantastic staple of the centre parcs establishment. A massive selection of pancakes, waffles and French toast available with smaller portions available for the kids. Staff were super friendly and I could fault them at all. Very helpfully and food arrived in good time and hot. Portion size is good although the negative is the price as it can work out a bit pricey for a big family.

Great restaurant for kids, which means a slightly loud and hectic restaurant for adults, but if you go in off-peak times this isnt nearly as bad. Food has been MASSIVELY improved since last time I came, pancakes were in better portion sizes with the amount of toppings no longer causing sogginess - perfect balance of stuff, went from thinking of this place as a basic choice to it being a must visit!

Scaffolding around the building due to work - entrance not clear. Fair enough they are doing work. We always visit the Pancake House and booked in advance, which I recommend. Don’t just turn up and then give the staff a hard time because they cannot sit you, please, it’s very unfair. I watched this happen twice on this visit, alone, and the staff were exceptional and very polite however they had to say no. We ordered pancakes as we usually do and expected the same size but we were deeply disappointed as the size was very much smaller and no depth at all and at £12.50 each we were very disappointed. Don’t tell me that the cost of ingredients has increased that much - FOR PANCAKE MIX! I understand the price of living has increased but a price increase of over 100% since the pandemic and then decreasing the portion size is appalling! Absolutely criminal. Then the drinks- £4.95 for a pint of coke and £4.95 for a J20 then adding another £1 on top for a splash of lemonade is monstrous, especially when this place only opens in the day when most people are looking to only have soft drinks. Not good Pancake House, in fact pretty rubbish. Don’t waste your money. The added service charge of 7.5% was the icing on this, somewhat, expensive cake! It’s just not worth the money.

We were very disappointed to find the menu had changed. The menu change is dreadful. Many classics have been removed and all that remains is a shallow array of American style plates and waffles. This very popular, family-friendly breakfast/lunch restaurant on the Longleat Center Park property is buzzing with business. Prices are high for very average pancakes, waffles & egg breakfast. Excellent, well published options for gluten-free customers. Unfortunately, the fruit salad @ £7.98 was filled with unripe, inedible fruit (pineapple, red grapes, watermelon) topped with an attractive but inedible passion fruit. I received a "shrug of the shoulders" when this was brought to the attention of the waitress. Waffles were beautifully prepared but not served as requested. Pancakes were thin & flavorless.

This is our fifth time in center parcs but unfortunately the pancake house didn’t live up to our memories. Work was being done so meant constant drilling and big green screens blocking off the impressive views. Prices are unreal. £3.50 for a cup of tea and not only this, they serve it to you as a pot of hot water with a tea bag on the side still in its paper - they can’t even be bothered to brew the tea for you. Pancakes are very dry and crumbly. They cover it in sauces and ice cream etc but once you get past this initial layer, the pancakes are nothing special - I can make much better ones at home. I mentioned to our waitress that my 5 year old son was struggling as his pancake was so dry so she brought out an additional bit of sauce for him. When I asked for the bill, saw this little bit of sauce was charged as an added extra! So 4 pancakes for 2 adults and 2 kids plus drinks were a total of £65. You don’t mind paying if the quality is there but it really wasn’t. Worst eating out experience of our whole trip this time and has gone downhill since our last trips, not even serving the range of toppings and milkshakes as per the past. Sense of portion control, profitability markups and conveyor belt mentality with its customers. All about maximising profit margins, to the extent of killing any kind of memorable service or product. Greed has taken over. We are due back tomorrow morning before we leave as you have to book all this stuff at the beginning of your trip. Safe to say, we won’t be returning. It’s a shame because a few years ago, we loved it.

They have a great team, someone is leading them really well, they all seem to work together like a real team. Disappointed. The breakfast New York blueberry pancake was a rip off. I ordered an extra one which came plain. So 3 pancakes with blueberries in them and one small pot of compote that was blackcurrant not blueberry. The pancakes were small and dry. Overall, not pleasant and stick to plain toast. We went here twice during a one-week stay at Center Parcs, and were very pleased with the quality of food and service (despite the restaurant being very busy on both occasions). It was particularly good for a family member with multiple serious food allergies (even egg allergy, because they make vegan pancakes, prepared in an entirely different section of the kitchen). The food for the allergic person was brought separately, with a flag showing awareness of the allergies.

Pancake house was good with allergy information for the common allergens and have a web-page where you can select allergens to exclude. However for uncommon allergies I would not recommend. I asked the waitress which products contained coconut in and after asking the chef she informed me that they are unable to cater for my allergy and wouldn't check the allergen information on ingredients to see what it contained. My choice was therefore to sit and watch the rest of my party eat or to risk an allergic reaction. I made the choice to eat and the pancakes I ate gave me an allergic reaction but I do not know what from specifically. Would not go back again as I don't trust the restaurant.

Arrived AN HOUR before it closed, was ignored by 5 members of staff doing nothing but chatting at the other side of the restaurant, someone finally came over and asked their manager about seating me bu they were accepting anyone as they were nearly closing (in an hour!!) I was one person by myself with a sleeping baby I'm pretty sure you could have served me as it took 5 mins to cook out pancakes for a table of 4 the previous day. Update your website to make it clear you don't allow people to eat an hour before closing or perhaps you were just being lazy today because you can book tables at 4 on the centre parcs app as I checked after...!

Great Food and Service creating Unforgettable Family Memories. I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Pancake House during our family's mid-week break at Center Parcs, Longleat, and I must say, the experience of the re-furbished restaurant was as good, if not better than our previous visits. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and impeccable service that lasted throughout our visits for lunch and return on the last day for breakfast. What truly sets The Pancake House apart is the exceptional service provided by the staff. They were not only knowledgeable about the menu but also genuinely passionate about ensuring our dining experience was memorable. We have been to eat here many time's over the years, which have been good, this time was not a good experience, Friday 18th October, 4.30pm . The place was not busy when arrived, got seated, ordered food, when food came, it looked good but all was lukewarm, loaded chips very salty so didn’t eat all, tried to get waiting staff attention with no joy staff members standing together chatting(male staff) except for two young girls who seemed to be doing all the work. We did not get checked on which is not good, problem with food could have been corrected. Tips: Most people will be happy to wait an extra 15 mins to have hot food. Staff need to work as team. Check on your customers.

It was good to see a limited menu - usually a good sign for a restaurant but unfortunately we were rather disappointed. The menu looked good with a range of mainly fish dishes (hence Bait and Plate) but it didn't quite work for us. Monkfish scampi looked good but the taste of the fish was rather overpowered by the coating. Similarly salt and pepper squid taste overpowered by the coating and overcooked (or maybe old oil?). Empanadas tasted nice but frankly the filling could have been anything - no taste of the advertised swordfish. We did enjoy the samphire side and the affogato dessert. We would really like to be able to support this innovative restaurant which has a nice ambience, great decor and great location - but perhaps you are over-complicating good ingredients? Drink prices we found very reasonable.
